MAGA is firing military veterans and canceling veteran suicide research, cutting education funds, including for disabled children. This movement is corrupt, anti-democracy, and explicitly mirrors Nazi ideology. You might have swapped the swastika for a red hat, but the meaning is the same. The activist highlighted the number of registered POWs and MIAs versus the LGBTQ community, suggesting a manipulation of flag displays. NEW: Washington state mayor obliterates LGBTQ activist during a city meeting after she compared the Pride flag to a Prisoner of War-Missing in Action flag. 🔥🔥 Activist: "There's been 82,000 Americans who are registered as POWs or MIAs... but there's 20 million minimum LGBTQ members." "Your approach to trying to trick people out of having to fly the pride flag in June by making sure that the POW-MIA flag was flown is really disgusting." Newcastle Mayor Robert Clark: "Hundreds of thousands of people d*ed for this country so that you could fly your pride flag." "I am pissed... Speaker 0 stated that while 82,000 Americans are registered as POWs or MIAs, there are at least 20,000,000 LGBTQ members. The speaker accused some people of hypocrisy for ensuring the POW/MIA flag was flown to avoid flying the Pride flag in June, calling it disgusting. Speaker 1 responded that they would not tolerate the assertion that veterans are a political stunt. They stated that the country was founded because veterans lost their lives and that hundreds of thousands died for the country so others could fly a pride flag. Speaker 1 asserted that the 82,000 people who never came home will never have a chance to have a family while others can fly their pride flag. They stated that veterans sacrificed their lives for America and freedom around the world. Speaker 1 warned against disparaging veterans.

Speaker 0: My research shows that there's been 82,000 Americans who are registered as POWs or MIAs, which is atrocious and horrible, and it should never happen to any American. But there's 20,000,000 minimum LGBTQ members. So when we're talking about special interest, let's just have some intellectual integrity. I've talked before about the hypocrisy of some of the people up on that dais. And I think that your approach to trying to trick people out of having to fly the Pride flag in June by making sure that the POW MIA flag was flown is really disgusting. And again, it's not impartial in any way. And I think that you should be ashamed. I definitely am. Thank you. Speaker 1: It's not common that I respond to public comment, but I will not sit here and have somebody tell me that veterans are a political stunt. How dare you? This country was founded because veterans lost their lives. Hundreds of thousands of people died for this country so that you could pry your pride flag. And, man, I am pissed. I'm sorry. This is out of line, and perhaps my council members will censure me for this, but do not ever disparage veterans in my presence. Right? Those 82,000 people who never came home will never have a chance to have a family or grow up while you can fly your pride flag. They sacrificed their lives all over the world for America and for freedom around the world. I tolerate your comments, which are always on the attack and all in your libelous comments on Facebook. I tolerate it because, you know, you probably can't help yourself, but don't ever disparage veterans in front of me. Don't ever disparage veterans in front of me and we're done. So you're telling me democracy is like dying or whatever. Explain to me how that is happening. Well, I think that when we're basically people are saying federal workers are being fired, it's like federal workers work for us, don't work for the president of The United States. Tariff controls should be in place by Congress, not by the president of The United States. So those are just a few things that I would consider to be non democratic. What is your flag? Well if you know your eighteen twelve war history, did you know any '18 Yeah UK against us. The second time around right? For all your viewers out there, just Yeah. The one viewer. The one viewer. I shared my thoughts on the recent arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka for trespassing at an ICE facility, where he and others allegedly broke in. As I've said in the state of New Jersey, as Pam Bondi has said in The United States, we will not stand for anybody getting in the way of getting rid of criminals in this country. It's very simple. Unfortunately, the mayor has publicly for three days been saying that he's going to break in, eventually did break in, was given multiple opportunities to remove himself, failed to do so, and has been detained, and will be charged. And where is he being held? I'm not gonna speak to that right now. He's obviously in New Jersey. But he's in custody? Yes. He he is he has been arrested and and will be

I witnessed a troubling incident in Las Vegas where police arrested protesters for expressing their opinions about ICE, claiming their comments were offensive. Officers aggressively intervened without warning, which raised concerns about free speech. A local attorney emphasized the importance of exercising First Amendment rights peacefully, encouraging everyone to voice their views through words, signs, and chants, regardless of their stance on the issue.

Las Vegas police arrest ICE protesters—for hurting their feelings saying, "Honor your oath." Police yell, "This isn't F-ing L.A." while handcuffing the woman. "Go back to L.A." No warning given before dozen officers rushed them—for making rude comments and "putting a camera in my face"—neither of which is against the law. #DemVoice1 #wtpBLUE #DemsUnited

Local news coverage of protesters' First Amendment rights at ICE protests in Las Vegas. “I don’t care if you’re pro-ICE or anti-ICE. Go out there and do it,” explained First Amendment attorney. “But do it with your words, do it with signs, do it with chants, if you like.” https://t.co/3WvdAqf2nk

First Amendment attorney Mark Randazza says the First Amendment protects the right to protest by standing on the sidewalk, chanting, and holding signs, but it does not protect protesters from crimes committed while protesting. Randazza believes Metro Police acted correctly when arresting protesters for throwing rocks and blocking roads. He stated that declaring a protest unlawful to clear the streets is acceptable once protesters block roads. According to Randazza, a First Amendment violation occurs when police arrest protesters acting lawfully, which he claims is rare in Las Vegas, citing a history of tolerance for free speech. He supports all protests, regardless of the message, but says protesters should use words and signs, not block traffic. Randazza advises protesters to be arrested if necessary, invoke the amendment, remain silent, and contact a First Amendment lawyer. Metro Police made nearly 100 arrests and cited seven minors.

Speaker 0: Eight news now reporter Ryan Tizmeneski spoke with the first amendment attorney about the incident and joins us live in studio with more. Ryan? Speaker 1: Kirsten, the attorney I talked with is a strong defender of the amendment's right to protest regardless of the message. With last night's protest ending in nearly 100 arrests, I asked him what's the boundary between exercising your rights and breaking the law? Mark Randazza says the amendment protects your freedom to stand on the sidewalk, chant, and hold signs, but it does not make you innocent from crimes committed while doing so. Speaker 2: If you're doing something that would be illegal if you weren't protesting, it doesn't magically become legal because you are protester. Speaker 1: When it comes to what happened Wednesday night, he says Metro Police made the right call after protesters began to throw rocks and block roads. Speaker 2: Once a protest descends to people blocking the roads, If the police wanna declare it unlawful to clear the streets, you know, even as a staunch Amendment advocate, that does not rub me the wrong way. Speaker 1: Randazza says a Amendment violation happens when police arrest protesters who are acting lawfully, and he hasn't seen many violations in Las Vegas. Speaker 2: Metro is pretty good with that. There there's a history in Las Vegas of tolerance for free speech activities. Speaker 1: Randazza supports protests regardless of the message. Speaker 2: I don't care if you're pro ICE or anti ICE. Go out there and do it. But do it with your words. Do it with signs. Do it with, you know, chance if you like. But the moment you start to block traffic, I hope somebody runs you over. I don't have a problem with that. Speaker 1: Randazza tells me if police are going to arrest you at a protest, let it happen and consider using the amendment and not telling them anything. And contact a first amendment lawyer. Kirsten? Speaker 0: Thank you, Ryan. In addition to the nearly 100 arrests, Metro Police also cited seven minor.
