Speaker 0: So let let's be clear about what's happened on the border. Texas has the ability to secure the border ourselves. If we were acting in isolation, we would have secured the border. While Texas is doing everything possible to try to stop people from crossing the border, at the very same time the president of the United States is sitting, putting out the welcome mat, welcoming them in. The cartels also. It's the federal government that controls the immigration process. The cartels are working in collaboration with president Biden in the federal government to facilitate that illegal cross border. Our we are being overrun by our own federal government. Texas is being undermined by our own fellow fellow, federal government in our efforts to secure our border. It's only Joe Biden and his upper border policies that's hindered our ability to secure the border.

We are facing a full-blown invasion of illegal aliens. Texas is paying the price. If the Biden administration has their way, there will be millions more illegal aliens living in America. #BidenBorderCrisis #Title42

Video Transcript AI Summary
We are currently in Brownsville, Texas, witnessing a significant influx of illegal immigration. Over the past two and a half years, we have experienced the highest levels of illegal immigration in history, with 6.5 million people crossing illegally. As Title 42 is about to expire, there are already 22,000 illegal immigrants gathered near the Rio Grande, ready to cross over. Border patrol agents have informed us that they are encountering around 100 Chinese nationals and 35,000 Venezuelans illegally crossing into the country each day. What is frustrating is that instead of trying to stop this, Mayorkas and Biden are actually trying to expedite the process. They have even developed an app that allows agents to process an alien in just two minutes. This situation is a catastrophe for our country, and Texas is bearing the brunt of it.

Speaker 0: Well, Laura, it's great to be with you. Roger and I are both down here in Brownsville, Texas. We're on the southern border, and there is a full on invasion that is unfolding. We've seen for two and a half years the worst illegal immigration in history, 6 a half 1000000 people crossing illegally. And I'll tell you, as we stand here tonight, Hours away from title 42 expiring, there are 22,000 illegal immigrants camped just south of the Rio preparing to cross over. Every day, this community and the entire southern border is being swamped. It's being overwhelmed. Roger and I met with border patrol agents tonight. We met with the chief. We met with the head of the border patrol union. They told us that here, just just in Brownsville, That they are seeing roughly a 100 Chinese nationals a day crossing illegally into this country. That they've seen In less than a month, 35,000 Venezuelans cross illegally. And what is so infuriating is what you just said. Mayorkas and Biden, they're not trying to stop it. They're trying to speed it up. You know, we went with the border patrol agents Who were processing these illegal aliens. They now have an app on their phone. They can process an alien in 2 minutes. And what Majorcas wants to do Is he wants to do it faster? He wants 6 a half 1000000 to become 10,000,000 to become 12 12,000,000 to become 20,000,000, And it is an absolute catastrophe for this country. This is an invasion and Texas is paying the brunt of the price.

The interview concludes with a discussion on the disregard for American lives and the erosion of democracy.

Speaker 0: To deport them. Joining me now is a Texas Lieutenant Governor, Dan Patrick. Dan, now the White House said today that this law won't make communities safer. Your response? Speaker 1: So we spent a lot of time, Laura, in the Senate writing this bill Along with the governor. And we believe we have a bill that will survive any type of Supreme Court challenge because we are being invaded. Arizona tried this about 10 years ago, but our law is different. It simply says that our law enforcement can arrest anyone, Take them in, do a background check, photograph, do fingerprints. If they saw them cross the border illegally, we can do that. Or if they happen to reveal in the arrest stop that they crossed illegally, and then the magistrate will send them back And will escort them to the border, and they have a choice. They go to jail or they can go back. And if they go back and try to come back again and we arrest them again, the penalty gets even higher. We're fed up. In fact, seeing what happened in Colorado tonight, Laura, makes me think, except we believe in democracy in Texas, Maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing 8,000,000 people to cross the border since he's been president, Disrupting our state far more than anything anyone else has done in recent history. And so, this is, This is so outrageous. 10,000, 12,000, 14,000 people a day crossing the border. 8,000,000 people Speaker 0: in the office. Speaker 1: Enough to be the 12th largest state. It's incredible. Speaker 0: Now I think the numbers kind of they're not people are numb to the numbers now. It's the sheer mass of humanity that is obviously taking over cities, local communities, school districts, health care system, homeless shelters. I mean, it is overwhelming, already overburdened state and local budgets. And now, Dan, this congresswoman Jasmine Crockett decides, well, it's time to go after Texas. Watch. Speaker 2: I'm very concerned because the Republicans have never gotten immigration right. When you look at somebody like Greg Abbott, my governor, and his solution, his solution is to basically say, hey, we're going to kill people that are trying to come in. Like, that's not a solution. Speaker 0: So, Dan kill people? York congresswoman from Texas. You're trying to kill people, you and Abbott. Speaker 1: Yeah. She she's she's Jasmine Crockpot, not a Jasmine Crockett. That's just absolutely ridiculous. Our bill, Senate Bill 4 says We can arrest them and send them back. We also passed another bill to put another 1,500,000,000 into board to building more wall, and we've filed another and passed another bill, excuse me, to deal with human smuggling because the Biden administration is doing nothing, Laura, as we all know. We know That hundreds of people on the terrorist watch list have been apprehended. That doesn't count all the people we don't catch. We know that sex offenders, rapists, murderers have crossed the border, And Biden does nothing that puts our lives at risk. They don't care. You know, you know, our our founders is Speaker 0: a They don't care that, you know, Dan, they don't care about the constitution. They don't care about the representative democracy. They don't care about democracy and they certainly don't care about how many Americans and legal immigrants have been killed or brutalized or beaten or robbed because of the people they've they don't care. That's all collateral damage. Jan, we gotta roll. Thank you for joining us.

The authors of the United States constitution foresaw a situation when the federal government would be inattentive to states that faced challenges at their borders. And in response, they inserted article one election 10 to the United States constitution, to empower states to take action to defend themselves. And that is exactly what Texas is doing.

Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Explain to us the gravity of the problem and the challenge that you're having to deal with there in Texas. I mean, it's hard to fathom how big a problem that might be. Speaker 1: You know what? It's costing us 1,000,000,000 of dollars, but that that's not the most significant thing. The most significant thing is the crime, the increased human trafficking, drug trafficking. We have literally thousands of kids dying from fentanyl overdoses that don't have to die because we have the Cartels having an easy line into Texas and an easy line to get into the country. And so it is having a significant impact, and it is going to spread Beyond Texas, beyond the border states, it is an American problem. And I I think it's clearly caused by the Biden administration. You can see that under Trump, These problems were were diminishing and now under the Biden administration who has basically struck down all the policies that worked, We have significant problems with all of these things, and they're getting worse every day, which is hard to believe. You'd think after 3 years, He would have figured out a way to make it better, and instead, it's getting worse. Speaker 0: Well, you know, there's an immigration backlog in the Ports there of some 3,000,000 people. Some of these people coming across the border are getting court dates that are 10 years in advance. At least that's what some of the reports are saying. So I don't know how they proposed to do this, but, you know, they sent Secretary Mayorkas and Secretary Blinken down to meet with the Mexican president, But that seemed to be a meeting to just have a meeting, and now they're talking about actually actual amnesty. What's your take on what's going on there? Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, this is a joke. There's so many people coming across the world. There's so many people in the legal system. There's no way they'll keep up with it. Everybody knows how it actually works. They come in. They claim asylum. There's under Trump, they would have to stay outside of the country. Under Biden, they're allowed in. They disappear. Most of them don't show up for their hearings. And and there's almost no expectation that they will given the numbers and given the backlog. It's not realistic to think that many of these people or most of these people are Evergreen actually had their hearing, they're here to stay. And that's and the Biden administration knows that. They built a system to make it happen And this idea that somehow these meetings with Mexico where Mexico is now requesting that as as a fair trade for them stopping the the illegal immigration through their country into ours, That we're gonna somehow fund, dictators in South America and Central America. I mean, what could go wrong with that? It just seems like a really bad idea, and we've lost our leverage given the fact that the Biden administration doesn't enforce our own federal immigration laws. Speaker 0: Well, and now we're getting reports that there's some 15,000 people in a caravan moving up and north. And look, these are like daily numbers now coming Out of Mexico, not all Mexicans, people from all across the world, we have no idea who these people are and what they're trying to do. So Texas, I feel for you because you're trying to do something, and yet the Department of Justice wants to sue you over it rather than ask for your help. Speaker 1: Well, not only that, but you know, they're cutting down our fences, they're cutting down our wire. We sued them over that. I mean, they won't even let us like put up Fences. They they they damage our property. They come out of our property. And then, of course, this this threat of a lawsuit because we merely want to protect Our own citizens from the crime and the cost of illegal immigration when it's really their job to do it. And instead, we've got the Biden administration, as I said, Aiding and abetting the cartels, encouraging the cartels to make 1,000,000,000 of dollars and to bring as many people here as as fast as possible And as soon as possible. That's what the Biden administration is doing. They're not just not doing their job, they're actually encourage encouraging the opposite. Speaker 0: Well, it's interesting to me when they went down and met with the Mexican president, it made me wonder, are you meeting with the right people? Because it strikes me that the drug cartels, The mafia, if you will, is actually more in control of the northern part of the Mexican border than the Mexican government. And they could put troops up there. They could do things. But I just really wonder who's actually in control there in Northern Mexico. Speaker 1: Well, I think you're right. I mean, there's no doubt that the Mexican government could do more to and they did under the Trump administration because President Trump insisted on it. But there is no doubt that the cartels Have been incentivized. They're making 1,000,000,000 of dollars. They make, you know, 8 to $12,000 a person that they bring. So they're incentivized to bring as many people as possible. And remember, It used to be, the way border patrol worked, they were there to stop people from coming across the border. And now, the cartel doesn't try to Hide people. They don't try to sneak people across. They take them directly to border patrol. It's like a handoff. So it's a partnership. It's not It's not the way it was supposed to be, but that's where the Biden administration has taken us. They've taken us to a partnership with the cartels, so the part cartels Have the opportunity not only to make as much money with importation of humans, but also the border now is clear for their trafficking of drugs and other things that make money off of it. So they're building this network, not just in Mexico, but across the across the country. Speaker 0: Unbelievable. I appreciate what Texas is trying to do. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, happy new year. Thank you for joining us.

Speaker 0: Good morning, Matt. Good morning, Bill. As it stands right now, you might be able to make up behind me. Texas' razor wire is still here inside of Shelby Park. It remains untouched. However, the Biden administration has now warned Texas, it has until tomorrow to allow Biden's border agents back into Shelby Park and the ability to remove Texas' razor wire as it sees fit. A federal attorney writes to Texas attorney general Ken Paxton that the supreme court ruled in favor of the Biden administration ending a temporary restraining order that prohibited Biden's border agents from touching Texas razor wire in and around Shelby Park. The Biden administration In the letter to Texas reads in part, the supreme court restored the department's right to cut and move the concertina wire placed by Texas in order to perform their statute statutory duties. In sum, we require full access to the Shelby Tark area currently obstructed by Texas by January 26, 2024. Please confirm that the state will provide US border patrol with the access described. Now the Biden administration goes into detail about the access it wants. It wants access to Shelby Park, also the nearby boat launch and the international bridge. For 2 weeks now, Texas governor Greg Abbott has seized this hot spot for illegal immigration and kicked out the feds, arguing in part that president Biden actually wants an open border. Governor Abbott says president Biden's lawless border policies has allowed more than 6,000,000 illegal immigrants to cross the southern border in the 3 years. So Abbott has used his authority to declare an invasion, writing in part, that authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes the federal statutes to the contrary. The Texas National Guard and other Texas personnel are acting on that authority to secure the Texas border. And this morning, the US speaker of the house and at least 6 other Republican governors from various states are backing, Texas governor Greg Abbott. And the speaker of Taos says the US House will do whatever it can to support governor Abbott. So the showdown continues. Yes. It does. Dana.

Speaker 0: Afghanistan, Egypt, Russia, and China. Why are they showing up at our border, governor? Speaker 1: Because they know that they can walk right in because the federal government has not done one of their most important and basic duties in securing our country. Thankfully, we have governors across the country that are stepping up and doing what the federal government has failed to do under this president. Texas helping lead the way. I just, made an announcement that we will send additional national guard troops from Arkansas into Texas to help secure the border because not only is it impacting states on the border, it's impacting everybody in the country. It is a absolute national security, humanitarian, and huge crisis of epic proportion because of what they're allowing to take place. We're seeing drugs flood into our communities. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a single family anywhere in America that hasn't been impacted by the drug crisis in this country, and it is a direct result of the failure of this administration not stepping up and helping secure the border.

The speaker is on Fresno Mountain near the border wall, which they say would have been completed under President Trump but was halted by Joe Biden, allowing cartels to exploit the openings. Border patrol agents are present due to armed cartel scouts on the mountain, carrying long guns, possibly AK-47s. The speaker claims to be positioned between the border patrol and Mexico, with armed cartel members nearby. They believe the cartels are getting desperate and testing limits, operating in areas without a wall. The speaker alleges the cartels have been given $12 billion per year by Joe Biden and the Democrats and are ready to fight. They advocate for military intervention to combat the cartels and hold accountable those aiding them.

Speaker 0: They're definitely going up the hill. No. Bang. Go get go go. Hey. You wanna bring your light view or sudden one died out. So got an opportunity to saw border patrol hauling ass out here. Get up got up here, and they're parked here. They were climbing up hill, and I figure, can't see them anymore. They're up and over the hill, but I figured might as well go join them if I can. What time you got, John? See, and the agents are up top there. See him on the left? Yeah. So he Speaker 1: there's another guy. He's right. See him there? Oh, there. Now he's moving. Jeffrey didn't look. Speaker 0: So I just got up here to Fresno Mountain. The border patrol that we're hauling ass out here got word. There are armed scouts up on that mountain right there, cartel scouts. Show you Saseby is right there. The end of the wall is right below me, and as we speak, there are armed scouts up on top of the mountain. Joe Biden quit building the wall. If president Trump had been in office the last four years, this wall would have been complete, but it's not now, and the cartels exploit that. They use the fake asylum seekers to push more drugs and traffic more people, and now they're using these openings that Joe Biden left to push the rest of the drugs through, and they're really bad guys. I'm gonna climb up here. Border patrol's up on top of this rock. I'm gonna climb up here. Speaker 2: I'm gonna stay out of their way just to try to get you a better shot of these guys, though. Speaker 0: Roger. So just to give you an update, I am in between border patrol. Let me go over there so you can get a better shot of it. There you are. Right there. So border patrol's right there. Just watching my six. The other guy's spotting the other guys. I'm up right by the monument still in The United States. I got the Border Patrol on that side of the ridge. Mexican guys are armed. Looks like long guns, AK's. This is a war. Whether you wanna believe it or not, this is a war. For the last four years, our government was fighting for the wrong team. It's time to take our country back. I'm gonna try to get a shot of these guys so you guys can see it. So they are right up. He's moving? Okay, say he's moving. Oh, yes. I'm assuming it's right there. It's right there. Right in the middle of your screen. There he goes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. If he comes this way, I'll move, guys. Somewhere right here. He's coming he's coming to the north side. He's kind of on the east side. Yeah. So he's coming kind of this way. I got video of him right now, though. He's about halfway down to the saddle. Yeah. If you got up to the Red Rocks and look to your right, he's coming down the side of that peak. He's got a backpack, full camo, long gun. Okay. Well, I got good video of him right now. Okay. He's coming down to the Red Rocks. You're gonna see him. Yep. Okay. Cool. Cool. Cool. Cool. And there may be more than one. That's the only one I have visual on right now. Just heads up. My vantage point looks like I can see two, but it's hard to tell that I thought I was just climbing the mountain with the border patrol and left my binoculars down there. But this guy, this first one went around. There's red rocks right there. So he went kind of in between that little saddle right there. And now he's going down the west side of the mountain. I believe there's a couple more. They had They were watching my six. I'm at the top of this. It's about a 50 foot drop down there, so I don't wanna back up too far. They're still watching the top of the mountain, but this just shows you guys. I just wanna show you this vantage point. So that's that's Sasepee right there. That's the wall. This is Fresno Mountain. If you look here, look down here, there's no wall up and over here. It would have been completed if they hadn't have stolen the election from President Trump. Now that President Trump's back in office, this wall will be completed. It goes out to where you can see up to those mountains and it stops. Same thing. It would have been completed to Nogales. It will be, but it's not now. So the cartels basically operate out there in these areas at the bottom of this open opening right here. And the sense that you get is they're getting desperate. It's the same thing we saw in El Paso. These guys are testing the the limits, but they're also going inland because they're getting attacked from within as well. So this whole area, I'm I'm technically in America, but this is Mexico right here. If I step, that rock is Mexico. So I'm in between border patrol in Mexico and the cartel, and they've got armed, apparently armed cartel members all over this mountain right now. They told me multiple. One's moved off to the West. They've been watching my six. I'm gonna get out of here because the sun is going down. It just shows you. This is how dangerous this is out here. And thank God for president Trump. Thank God for Tom Homan. But we need to understand this. These guys aren't just gonna roll over. Joe Biden and the Democrats gave these guys $12,000,000,000 at minimum. That's a low estimate per year for the last four years. So they are armed up. They are ready to fight, and they're not gonna go peacefully. That's why it's so critical that our military goes in and takes these guys out. Mexico's military goes in and takes these guys out, that we spend our resources on the war that's right here on our southern border. This is a war. Not only have we been losing it for the last four years, our government's been fighting for the other team. Now we're fighting for the right side. But it's gonna be bloody. It's gonna be ugly. And we need to let these guys do their job and take these guys out and hold the traders in America that aiding and abetting these guys accountable. Alright. I'm down without getting shot. On behalf of the American people, thank you, guys. Appreciate you.
