WATCH: President Trump shreds Biden for allowing Title 42 to end and lays out his policy plan to stop the invasion of illegals at the border. https://t.co/cYRSarxoHX

Video Transcript AI Summary
Under my leadership, we had the most secure border in US history. We replaced catch and release with detain and deport, and implemented title 42 for instant expulsion of illegal aliens. However, when Joe Biden took office, he terminated successful border policies, opened the borders, and resettled millions of illegal aliens. Now, he plans to remove the remaining shreds of our border policy, leading to mayhem and lawlessness. Countless fraudulent asylum seekers will flood into the US, and states like California offer free healthcare and education, attracting more illegal immigrants. Congress should cut funding for catch and release and prevent the administration from using taxpayer dollars to release illegal aliens. We must fight to secure our country and remove the illegal aliens Biden allowed in.

Speaker 0: Under my leadership, we had the most secure border in US history by far. We replaced catch and release with detain and deport. One of my most successful policies was title 42, which allowed for instant expulsion of any illegal alien Who crossed our borders? Anybody. If they were bad, we got them out. We got them out fast. Those who trespassed into our country could be immediately sent back to the place from which they came. Every would be illegal border crosser knew that with Donald Trump in the White House, Our border was closed. It was absolutely closed and they had no chance of getting in and therefore, they didn't come. When Joe Biden came into office, He terminated every successful border policy that was put into place, including remain in Mexico, one of the best of them all, deliberately throwing open the borders and instituting catch and release and resettling untold millions and millions of illegal aliens into the United States. They're now your neighbors. Congratulations. Now Joe Biden is preparing to remove the last remnants of my title 42 policy just a few weeks from now, wiping out the few remaining shreds of our southern border. Hundreds of thousands of people will pour in that day and the judge already said that's what's going to happen. This will mean complete and total mayhem and utter lawlessness And unlimited numbers of fraudulent asylum seekers flood into the United States unchecked. They are unchecked. Nobody has any idea where they come from. They don't know if they're healthy, if they're sick, if they're insane, or if they're coming from prisons. Already, tens of thousands of illegal aliens The mass on the Mexican side of the border, they're getting ready to storm across the moment title 42, which is so important, is officially gone. Can you believe they're getting rid of it? And when that happens, countless more will charge in from all over the world. They're coming from all over the world. And some of the states like California saying come in and we give you free health care, free education. People hear that from other countries, they say, well, that sounds good to me and they're making a mass charge toward our border. It's absolute lunacy. It will be a mass resettlement of millions and millions of illegal aliens into your communities, and the invasion will be aided, abetted, and facilitated by the Biden administration's every step of the way every path they take will be made easier by Biden. Congress should move immediately to choke off and terminate All funding for catch and release. We should ban Joe Biden and the communists and the administration from using a single federal taxpayer dollar to Set loose illegal aliens into the United States. Now is the time we have to fight to make sure our country survives because our country cannot take 2 more years of this invasion. And when I take the oath of office on January 20, 2025, We will immediately begin the process of fully securing the border and removing the illegal aliens Joe Biden is unlawfully allowed to break into our country. Thank you very much.

Biden is a disaster: "We've had 45,000 migrant encounters at our border in the last five days alone. That's an average of almost 9,000 every day."

Video Transcript AI Summary
Migrants at the southern border have realized that little has changed. Deportations are minimal compared to the daily influx of people crossing the river. They know that if they arrive, they will likely be released into the country with a court date, as the system is heavily backlogged. The Biden administration's warnings against illegal crossings and encouragement to use legal pathways are being ignored. In the past five days alone, there have been 45,000 encounters with migrants at the border, averaging almost 9,000 per day. This number is significant when compared to New York City Mayor Eric Adams' statement that the city cannot handle 10,000 migrants per month.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Over these past few months, the migrants have realized nothing's really changed down here. They're barely deporting anybody. They're deporting a drop in the bucket compares to compared to what comes across the river every single day. So these migrants know if they just get here, they're still gonna be released into the country, a large majority of them. That's the case. That's why they're willing to turn themselves in and speak out border patrol. We've heard the Biden administration say do not come. If you cross illegally, you're going to be removed. You need to cross at a port of entry and you utilize these lawful pathways we've created. Guys, the port of entry is directly above these migrants. That shadow you see, that's the bridge. That's the port of entry. That's the legal way to do it. They're deciding to do it illegally. They don't wanna wait for the paperwork. They don't wanna wait for hearings. They don't wanna wait for this or that. They know they're gonna get released into the country with a court date and with our system them being as backlogged as it is. Some of those court dates are stretching out into 2026, 2027. The bottom line, the migrants are not buying the Biden administration's threats of more consequences. We've had 45,000 migrant encounters at our border in the last 5 days alone. That's an average of almost 9,000 every day and when you hear New York City Mayor Eric Adams saying things like we can't handle 10,000 per month kinda puts it in perspective for you. They're getting 9,000 a day down here at the southern border.

WATCH: A CBS reporter takes Karine Jean-Pierre to task over Biden's complete unwillingness to address BORDER SECURITY over the three years he has been in office https://t.co/Vo01x1cMkh

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker emphasizes that a comprehensive immigration reform plan was put forth on day 1 of the presidency, which has been a priority for almost 3 years. They mention regular conversations with congressional leaders on various issues, including immigration. The speaker disagrees with the notion that little public time has been spent on immigration, highlighting policy actions taken to address the border situation. They argue that being consistent and addressing a long-standing issue is demonstrated by the first piece of legislation being on immigration. This shows a serious commitment to fixing a broken system.

Speaker 0: They put forth and you laid that out in your question, a comprehensive immigration reform plan. He did that on day 1. And it is going on 3 years, on 3 years Speaker 1: he spent pushing that bill Speaker 0: On 3 years. Speaker 1: Here's the thing. Met with them on foreign policy, On a fiscal cliff, Speaker 0: on a budget, and it's Speaker 1: never been about immigration. Speaker 0: And we have regular conversations with congressional leaders and congressional staff about an array of issues, including this. I mean, this is you cannot send a bigger message to Congress and the American people when you say your 1st, when you put out your 1st piece of legislation is on this issue, is on reforming immigration. Right? It's on fixing flat Speaker 1: when you spend very little public time as president Talking about the issue, meeting with congressional leaders on the issue specifically, or doing anything else other than having you come out here To say, we issued a bill Speaker 0: on day 1. I disagree. It's not just issue a bill. Like, not too long ago back in the spring, we put forth policies on trying to make sure that because because congress didn't help on trying to put forth policies that try to make the immigration system humane, right, humane actually dealing with the issue that we're seeing at the border. We have taken policy actions after policy actions without without the help from congress. Without. Right? And so that is that is being consistent here. And when you put forth the 1st piece of legislation to be on this issue that has been broken for decades. I mean, that's what he did as president. That's taking it very, very seriously.

Speaker 0: Explain to us the gravity of the problem and the challenge that you're having to deal with there in Texas. I mean, it's hard to fathom how big a problem that might be. Speaker 1: You know what? It's costing us 1,000,000,000 of dollars, but that that's not the most significant thing. The most significant thing is the crime, the increased human trafficking, drug trafficking. We have literally thousands of kids dying from fentanyl overdoses that don't have to die because we have the Cartels having an easy line into Texas and an easy line to get into the country. And so it is having a significant impact, and it is going to spread Beyond Texas, beyond the border states, it is an American problem. And I I think it's clearly caused by the Biden administration. You can see that under Trump, These problems were were diminishing and now under the Biden administration who has basically struck down all the policies that worked, We have significant problems with all of these things, and they're getting worse every day, which is hard to believe. You'd think after 3 years, He would have figured out a way to make it better, and instead, it's getting worse. Speaker 0: Well, you know, there's an immigration backlog in the Ports there of some 3,000,000 people. Some of these people coming across the border are getting court dates that are 10 years in advance. At least that's what some of the reports are saying. So I don't know how they proposed to do this, but, you know, they sent Secretary Mayorkas and Secretary Blinken down to meet with the Mexican president, But that seemed to be a meeting to just have a meeting, and now they're talking about actually actual amnesty. What's your take on what's going on there? Speaker 1: Yeah. Look, this is a joke. There's so many people coming across the world. There's so many people in the legal system. There's no way they'll keep up with it. Everybody knows how it actually works. They come in. They claim asylum. There's under Trump, they would have to stay outside of the country. Under Biden, they're allowed in. They disappear. Most of them don't show up for their hearings. And and there's almost no expectation that they will given the numbers and given the backlog. It's not realistic to think that many of these people or most of these people are Evergreen actually had their hearing, they're here to stay. And that's and the Biden administration knows that. They built a system to make it happen And this idea that somehow these meetings with Mexico where Mexico is now requesting that as as a fair trade for them stopping the the illegal immigration through their country into ours, That we're gonna somehow fund, dictators in South America and Central America. I mean, what could go wrong with that? It just seems like a really bad idea, and we've lost our leverage given the fact that the Biden administration doesn't enforce our own federal immigration laws. Speaker 0: Well, and now we're getting reports that there's some 15,000 people in a caravan moving up and north. And look, these are like daily numbers now coming Out of Mexico, not all Mexicans, people from all across the world, we have no idea who these people are and what they're trying to do. So Texas, I feel for you because you're trying to do something, and yet the Department of Justice wants to sue you over it rather than ask for your help. Speaker 1: Well, not only that, but you know, they're cutting down our fences, they're cutting down our wire. We sued them over that. I mean, they won't even let us like put up Fences. They they they damage our property. They come out of our property. And then, of course, this this threat of a lawsuit because we merely want to protect Our own citizens from the crime and the cost of illegal immigration when it's really their job to do it. And instead, we've got the Biden administration, as I said, Aiding and abetting the cartels, encouraging the cartels to make 1,000,000,000 of dollars and to bring as many people here as as fast as possible And as soon as possible. That's what the Biden administration is doing. They're not just not doing their job, they're actually encourage encouraging the opposite. Speaker 0: Well, it's interesting to me when they went down and met with the Mexican president, it made me wonder, are you meeting with the right people? Because it strikes me that the drug cartels, The mafia, if you will, is actually more in control of the northern part of the Mexican border than the Mexican government. And they could put troops up there. They could do things. But I just really wonder who's actually in control there in Northern Mexico. Speaker 1: Well, I think you're right. I mean, there's no doubt that the Mexican government could do more to and they did under the Trump administration because President Trump insisted on it. But there is no doubt that the cartels Have been incentivized. They're making 1,000,000,000 of dollars. They make, you know, 8 to $12,000 a person that they bring. So they're incentivized to bring as many people as possible. And remember, It used to be, the way border patrol worked, they were there to stop people from coming across the border. And now, the cartel doesn't try to Hide people. They don't try to sneak people across. They take them directly to border patrol. It's like a handoff. So it's a partnership. It's not It's not the way it was supposed to be, but that's where the Biden administration has taken us. They've taken us to a partnership with the cartels, so the part cartels Have the opportunity not only to make as much money with importation of humans, but also the border now is clear for their trafficking of drugs and other things that make money off of it. So they're building this network, not just in Mexico, but across the across the country. Speaker 0: Unbelievable. I appreciate what Texas is trying to do. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, happy new year. Thank you for joining us.

Governor Kemp, thanks for being with us. Why did you think it was important for Georgia to join Texas? Speaker 3: Well, good morning, guys. Thanks You're having me on. Listen. It's like, you know, governors all over the country have been saying every state's a border state now. That includes Georgia, and that's why we're Staying strong with governor Abbott to stop this insanity at the southern border because the president and the White House won't. Speaker 1: So, governor, what do you think is going on with the Biden administration right now? A record number, over 300,000 Illegal immigrants in the month of December alone, they've been in the Biden has been in the administration for almost a full term now. Do you think they they don't care, they don't recognize this problem, or do they think that this is a political calculation fighting Texas will somehow help them in their reelection effort. Speaker 3: Well, I think early on, they just didn't care. Now I think they just, you know and and I think a lot of people thought they didn't Get it. I think now they're seeing the political ramifications of that, which is insane when you think about over 300,000 encounters in December. That breaks To September record, so the problem's getting worse, not better. 19 people on the FBI terror watch Cliffs were arrested, for a total of 50 this fiscal year. I mean, how many of those have gotten through that we didn't that are now in our country. So these are serious things. I think the American people are ready for the president to do something. And, you know, the White House yesterday in response to the, republican governors that are standing with governor Abbott and sent a letter, you know, they're saying call your member of congress and get them to work out a deal. I mean, look. This buck stops With the White House and president Biden, he had both houses of congress from 2020 to 2022 and didn't do a damn thing About the crisis at the border. And now that it's gotten political, they're trying to lay the blame on somebody else. This is actions that the president can take Today, to turn this tide and stand with governor Abbott instead of working against him. Speaker 0: Governors should, Speaking of the administrations, you know, right now, Donald Trump's running to be the the next commander in chief, to be the person enforcing what's going on at the border. Just trying to shift shift gears just a little bit. What do you make of the state of the Republican race net now on the Republican side? Because there's 2 candidates left. Some people are saying, there's not enough delegates to be had for Nikki Haley. Where are you on the on on whether this race should continue or not? Speaker 3: Well, I think when you look at the delegate Count, I know somebody in Georgia, tweeted yesterday that, you know, less people have voted in this election than reside in Gwinnett County, Georgia. So, You know, 2 strong wins, no doubt about it early on, but still a long way to go. And I I don't think it's for, you know, the party leadership or anybody else Decide who the nominee is gonna be. That's that's, there's a process for that. The people will vote and decide that, and I know the candidates have to decide, You know, when's the right time for them to exit, a race if they're going to? So I'll leave that up to them. I think we'll continue to watch. We got a long way to go to South Carolina. But look. That that doesn't change the fact the matter that everybody's standing on the Republican side in solidarity with what's happening in Texas, The disaster at the southern border, the runaway inflation we've seen in the country, just the bad policies of the White House really to have people so fired up about this election. 2024 is gonna be a critical year. Speaker 2: Alright. Governor Brian Kemp, thanks for being on this morning. Speaker 1: With Texas. Governor, thank you so much for joining us.

🚨NEW - House Speaker Mike Johnson delivers first floor speech on border catastrophe, accusing President Biden of intentionally creating a "clear and present danger to our national security." "Since I was elected Speaker less than 100 days ago, more than 700,000 illegals have been welcomed into our country illegally by the Biden administration. American schoolchildren have been forced into virtual schools so migrants can sleep in their school buildings. Korean War veterans have been booted from nursing homes that were sold to house migrants. Our streets are being flooded with fentanyl. Hundreds of thousands of children and adults are being poisoned and losing their lives. Vulnerable children and women are being exploited and trafficked by cartels. Since President Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas assumed office, there have been more than 7 million encounters with illegal aliens just at our southern border alone. 35 of our 50 states, including my home state of Louisiana, don't have a population that large. More than 300 individuals who are on our terror watchlist have been apprehended on the southern border. The frightening question is, how many have entered undetected? We know there are at least 1.8 million gotaways that have escaped. Understand that the situation at our border presents a clear and present danger to our national security, and it demands that it be addressed. FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Homeland Security Committee in November that these gotaways are a great concern for the agency, and all 56 of our Joint Terrorism Task Forces are trying to identify who these people are. We don't know how many terrorists are inside our borders. We do know that fentanyl is pouring into our communities like an open sewer. Right now, the leading cause of death of death in America for Americans aged 18 to 46 is fentanyl poisoning. To make matters worse, we've learned that the Biden administration is now simply just releasing 85% of the illegals who come across that border right into the country. For reference, by the way, in 2013, the Obama administration detained 82% of illegal aliens. How do we go from detaining 82% to releasing 85%? It only happens if this is by design. It only happens if it's an orchestrated intentional effort by the administration to do exactly that, and that is what the evidence shows. Earlier this month, I released a memo documenting 64 specific actions that the Biden administration has taken to undermine our border security and to promote the mass release of illegals and dangerous persons into our country. The very first day President Biden walked into the Oval Office, he revoked Executive Order 9844. Do you know what that did? It ended the construction of the border wall that Congress had already paid for. Everybody has seen the images of the materials out there rotting in the sun. Why? Because Joe Biden decided unilaterally that he didn't want a wall. In February 2021, the administration stopped applying Title 42 expulsions to children and incentivize by doing that incentivize families to send unaccompanied children through Mexico under the watch of cartels and traffickers. Since then, the administration admits to losing track of more than 80,000 unaccompanied children somewhere in the US. We don't know where they are. Have they been put into trafficking rings? We know that some of these kids are being trafficked for free labor and being forced to do things that are too appalling for us to articulate on this floor. Everybody here knows that's happening, and we're not demanding the President stop it? He can. He has the power to do it. In October 2021, the Biden administration revoked the migrant protection protocols that had been instituted under President Trump. That's the policy that we all know colloquially as Remain in Mexico. The Remain in Mexico policy kept asylum seekers in a safe haven third country while they were seeking asylum in the United States. Do you know why that works magically so well? Because it sent a message around the world that you shouldn't pay your life savings to a cartel to traffic you through Mexico and drop you over the US border because you're not going to be dropped over the US border. The word goes out on social media to countries all around the world. They are not going to let you in. Man, is that the most common sense rule you've ever thought of? President Biden doesn't agree because he stopped it. He issued an executive order to stop that common sense rule. A senior border patrol officer told us on that trip to Eagle Pass that if President Biden, by the stroke of a pen, would issue an executive order today to just simply reinstate Remain in Mexico, they think that would stop the flow by 70%. One stroke of the pen by the President. He does not seem to care. I told President Biden this myself on multiple occasions, most recently, a couple of weeks ago on the phone, I read him the law that says that he has all this authority, but he refuses to act. And even that's even despite court orders, by the way that instructed the administration to reinstate the institute remain in Mexico while the litigation was going on. You know what they did? They ignored it. The Biden administration is actively incentivizing illegals to come to the United States. We have laid out the welcome mat. We told everybody around the world, come on, you know what? The US taxpayer will take care of you. It's costing the American people billions and billions and billions of dollars to provide for people who are intentionally breaking our laws, billions and billions of dollars to house them and educate them and clothe them and take care of them. Why should we bear the burden when they break our laws? In January 2023, the Biden administration expanded the use of the Customs and Border Patrol One App so illegal aliens could just make appointments and then be released immediately right into America's interior. Guess what? 95% of all illegals who simply scheduled appointments through the app were released right into the United States. That's right. All you have to do is just download the app because they all have smartphones, make an appointment, and the President of the United States will release you into a network of NGOs who will put you on a plane to the destination of your choice. Without identification, by the way, while Americans are waiting in line to get through TSA. All on the dime of the American taxpayer. In December 2023, CBP recorded more than 302,000 encounters, almost double the population of my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana. In just one month 302,000 people just walked right into the country. I could go on and on about the 64 actions we've documented that President Biden has specifically taken to open our border wide up, but it's crystal clear his policy choices and Secretary Mayorkas refusal to comply with the law are driving this border catastrophe. They have chosen disorder and chaos for us rather than securing the homeland. They've ceded the homeland to cartels and traffickers. In the Del Rio sector alone in Eagle Pass, Texas, the cartels are making an estimated $3.5 million dollars a day trafficking human beings into our country. Do the math. They are making billions of dollars a year trafficking undocumented children and victims into this country. The Department of Homeland Security has effectively become a taxi driver to just help traffickers complete the last few miles of their human smuggling operation, and they're making billions of dollars in the process. It's absolute madness, and it is dismantling the safety of our communities. More than half a million known criminals and illegal aliens are in the US in our communities, free to re-offend and victimize American people. When we were at Eagle Pass in the Del Rio sector earlier in January, they told us that 60 to 70% of the people coming across the border right there at that epicenter are single adult males. They're military-aged. These are not huddled masses of families seeking refuge and asylum. These are people coming into our country to do only God knows what. The Biden administration is allowing it, and we've noted that they are coming from adversarial nations and from terrorist regions. We have no idea what they're planning. But in fiscal year 2023, border patrol encountered illegals from 170 different countries, including hundreds from Iran and Syria, thousands from Russia, and tens of thousands have come in from China. Tell me that's not dangerous? Law enforcement and intelligence leaders are warning us that we may very well suffer a preventable terrorist attack here in the homeland if we don't immediately secure that border and remove these dangerous terrorists from inside our borders. I read the black letter law to the President of the United States on the phone about two and a half weeks ago. I said, Mr. President, it says very clearly that you have all the tools and the executive authority necessary to reverse the catastrophe that you have created. He has those tools right now, and he has since day one. We have to decide if we believe in the rule of law or not. We have to decide if we're a sovereign nation or we're not. I believe that border security is part of our solemn obligation to safeguard the well-being of our citizens and uphold the principles that define who we are as a nation. A weak border weakens America, and a strong border is good for America, and a stronger America is good for everybody around the world. And everybody in this chamber should acknowledge that. Just as we lock our doors at night to protect our homes, we secure our borders to protect our homeland. And my friends, that is our sacred obligation." @SpeakerJohnson

Speaker 0: I said here on the night that I took my oath, we have a catastrophe at our southern border. It is because the border has been deliberately opened wide that we see the the terrific horrors that are taking place across our country right now. Here's a short list. From Texas to New York, waves of illegal immigrants are now overwhelming our communities. Just since the time I was elected speaker, less than a 100 days ago, more than 700,000 illegals have been welcomed into our country illegally by the Biden administration. American schoolchildren have been forced into virtual schools. Why? So migrants can sleep in their school buildings. Korean War veterans of the US have been booted from nursing homes that were sold to house migrants. Our streets are being flooded with fentanyl. 100 of thousands of children and adults are being poisoned and losing their lives. Vulnerable children and women or being exploited and trafficked by cartels, and that's happening even within our borders. The fallout goes on and on and on, and I am here this morning to beg of my colleagues to help us force the administration to take action. We have to stop this now and put Americans and Americans' border security first. In in January, I I took the largest ever congressional delegation down to the southern border. We had 64 members, 64 House Republicans representing more than half the states in this country. Why? Because now every state is a border state. And during our trip, we met with senior border patrol officials and and, officers and local sheriffs and and ranchers and landowners and community leaders who are dealing with this crisis right there at the line. And we heard about how they're struggling to deal with the overwhelming surge of illegals who are flooding into our nation. And while the Senate and the White House were negotiating a so called border security deal, one border patrol official compared the situation this way. He said, What we're being asked to do right now this is a 33 year veteran of border patrol, a high ranking official in in the agency. He said, what we're being asked to do right now is administer an open fire hydrant. He said, please convey to our friends in Washington, we don't need more buckets. We we need to turn off the flow. And his metaphor explains the situation perfectly. Since president Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas assumed office, there have been more than 7,000,000 encounters with illegal aliens just at our southern border alone. 35 of our 50 states, including my home state of Louisiana, don't have a population that large. Yet that's how many people have been apprehended in just the past 3 years. Among those who've been apprehended on the southern border, but between ports of entry, more than 300 individuals who are on our terror watch list. Terrorist watch list. The the frightening question is, if so many terrorists were caught attempting to cross our borders, how many have entered undetected? We suspect it is a much higher number. And we know that there are at least 1,800,000 gotaways that we know have escaped, CBP. Who knows what dangerous plans those gotaways are making and and and what foreign adversaries they may be speaking with? Understand the situation at our border presents a clear and present danger to our national security, and it demands that it be addressed. Even officials within the executive branch are saying so. FBI director Christopher Wray told the Homeland Security Committee just, in November that these gotaways are a great concern for the agency and that All 56 of our joint terrorism task forces are trying to identify who these people are. While we don't know how many terrorists are inside our borders, it's an unknowable number, we do know that fentanyl is pouring into our communities like an open sewer. Right now, the leading cause of death the leading cause of death in America for Americans aged 18 to 46 is fentanyl poisoning. And fentanyl seizures have increased 2 and a half times since president Biden took office. That's just the seizures. The rest of it flows right in. But even as some of it is seized, we know much more is making its way into our schools and our neighborhoods and virtually every community in America. Just a quick snapshot of my state in New Orleans. In my home state, 95% of the drug overdoses in New Orleans are caused by Fentanyl. 95%. We see that this poison is ripping families apart. Victoria McCulley from Baton Rouge was only 29 years old when she lost her life to Fentanyl. She was buried by her parents, leaving behind her brother and her sister and her young son. Alex Stinson is another victim. Like Victoria, he was from Baton Rouge. And sadly, also like Victoria, he died from fentanyl poisoning before his 30th birthday, leaving behind a heartbroken mom and dad and sister. Near Slidell, Louisiana. Just last week, a precious 2 year old child was found dead in her home with fentanyl in her system. Moms and dads, brothers and grandmothers, all of us are losing loved ones to a drug that is being smuggled across the border in droves. It's a parent's worst nightmare, of course, burying a child. And sadly, because of our open border, more and more parents are having to experience that unspeakable tragedy. That leads the American people to ask a very important question, and it is one that we've been asking on this side of the aisle for a long, long time. Where in the world is secretary Mayorkas on all of this? He is the secretary with the Department of Homeland Security. It's his responsibility to prevent these harmful drugs from flowing into our country and to secure that border, and he's done nothing of the sort. As we've heard from border patrol agents, he's doing exactly the opposite. He's He's handicapping law enforcement. He's limiting their ability to catch narcotics like Fentanyl. He's making it virtually impossible. They say in their own words, and they told us down on the border Eagle Pass, it's impossible to do the job that they were trained to do. Perhaps the secretary is busy identifying more people on on the list that he can release on parole. Because just since fiscal year 2022, secretary Mayorkas has released released into the country more than 1,500,000 aliens, just sent amount into the country on what they call parole. Remember, the Immigration and Nationality Act states very clearly that parole should only be used on a case by case basis and a temporary basis. But millions of illegals right now or being granted parole and spending many years in the United States before they're ever even expected to appear before a judge. Some of them or given a a piece of paper that says, we'll see you in a decade. It's absurd. This mass parole is neither temporary nor selective. It is a clear violation of federal law, and it is dangerous and it is subversive, and it's intentional. And to make matters worse, We've learned that the Biden administration is now simply just simply releasing 85% of the illegals who come across that border right into the country. They're coming to a neighborhood near you. For reference, by the way, if you're watching the metrics, in 2013, the Obama administration listen to this. The Obama administration detained 82% of illegal aliens. How do we go from detaining 82% to releasing 85%? It only happens if this is by design. It only happens if it's an orchestrated intentional effort by the administration to do exactly that. And that is what the evidence shows. John Adams famously said, facts are stubborn things. And these are the facts, and you can't look away. This is only part of why chairman Green and the House Homeland Security Committee marked up articles of impeachment last night. They wrapped that up at about 1:15 this morning, and they did very important work for our country. And we will be moving forward swiftly on those articles. It's long overdue. But secretary Mayorkas is only part of the problem. Because earlier this month, I I released a memo documenting 6464 specific actions that the Biden administration has taken to undermine our border security and to promote the mass release of illegals and dangerous persons into our country. 64 times. And here's just a a couple of the many alarming actions, and this is all public. Everybody can go see this. The day he took office, the very first day that he walked into the oval office. President Biden revoked executive order 9844. You know what that did? It ended construction of the border wall that Congress had already paid for. Everybody's seen the images on TV. The materials out there rotting in the sun and the and the the elements. Why? Because Joe Biden decided unilaterally he didn't want a wall. In February 2021, the the administration stopped applying title 42 expulsions to children and incentivized by doing that, incentivized families to send unaccompanied children through Mexico under the watch of who? Cartels and traffickers. Since then, the administration has lost track. They admit to this number. They admit that they've lost track of more than 80,000 unaccompanied children somewhere in the US. We were down there at Eagle Pass at the Del Rio sector. We went through one of these processing centers. And and what we saw down there was Heartbreaking. It was infuriating. But you see these small children. They're unaccompanied minors. Some of them, of course, aren't even, they can't even speak the language, obviously. They have interpreters there, but they they don't even know who they are. I mean, these are young children. They don't know what their full names are, where they hail from, who their parents are. And and they sit them there and they ask questions, some preliminary questions. And if the children don't know it, you know what they do? Literally, they take a sticker, and they put it on the chest of a little child that says Jane Doe or John Doe. What happens to them after that? We they border patrol says, gosh. We don't know. Our job is just to process them here. Well, they're released presumably into the hands of NGOs, nongovernmental organizations, who are being refunded, by the way, by American taxpayers, who do something with the children and then they just disappear. Well, we know 80,000 of them are missing. We don't know where they are. Have they been put into trafficking rings? We can only guess. We we know that some of these kids are being trafficked for free labor and and being forced to do things that are too appalling for us to articulate on this floor. Everybody here knows that's happening. Everybody here knows that's happening, and we're not demanding the president stop it. He can. He has the power to do it. It I'll continue. In October 2021, the Biden administration revoked the migrant protection protocols that had been instituted under president Trump. That's the the the policy that we all know, colloquially as remain in Mexico. Right? The remain in Mexico policy kept asylum seekers in a safe haven third country while they were seeking asylum in the United States. You know why that works so magically well? Because it sent a message around the world that you shouldn't pay your life savings to a cartel to traffic you through Mexico Mexico and drop you over the US border because you're not gonna be dropped over the US border. Hey. Save your time and treasure in trouble. Don't take that dangerous journey because the word goes out on social media to countries all around the world. They're not gonna let you in. Man, is that the most common sense rule you've ever thought of? The president doesn't agree. President Biden doesn't agree because he stopped it. He issued an executive order to stop that common sense rule. A A senior border patrol officer told us on that trip to Eagle Pass that if the Biden administration if president Biden, by the stroke of a pen, would issue an executive order today to just simply reinstate remaining Mexico. They think that that would stop the flow by 70%, 70, one stroke of a pen, by the president. He does not seem to care. I told president Biden this myself on multiple occasions. Most recently, a couple of weeks ago on the phone, I read him the law that says that he has all this authority, but he refuses to act. And even that's even despite court orders, by the way, that instructed the administration to reinst reinstitute remaining Mexico while the litigation was going on. You know what they did? They ignored it. The administration refused it. I can keep going. September 2022, the Biden administration reversed a 2019 DHS public charge rule. What was that about? They began granting entry to aliens who we know will be a burden to taxpayers to receive immigration benefits. This matters because it's one of many instances in which the Biden administration is actively incentivizing illegals to come to the United States. We have sent laid out the welcome mat, and we told everybody around the world, come on. Come on. You know what? The US taxpayer will take care of you. You know how much it's costing you at home, The American people, all of our constituents, 1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 of dollars to do what? To provide for people who are intentionally breaking our laws. 1,000,000,000 and 1,000,000,000 of dollars to house them and educate them and clothe them and take care of them. Why should we bear that burden when they break our laws? That's what our constituents are asking, and more people are in this chamber need to be asking it as well. We're asking it on the house Republican side. We need our Democrat colleagues to join us. Instead of threatening illegal aliens with deportation, we're rolling out the welcome mat. We're including aliens who will drain resources you know what? Here's the other tragedy. The resources, those precious taxpayer dollars, are intended for and paid by American citizens. But when you drain those resources and you spend them on illegals from other countries, you cannot take care of your own. It's a travesty. You can also see this with how DHS has abused the CBP one app. Right? We've got an app. We've made it even easier now. In January 2023, they expanded the use of the app so aliens could just make appointments and then be released immediately right into America's interior. That that sure enough, guess what? 95% of all illegals who simply scheduled appointments through the app were released right into the United States on what they call parole. That's right. All you gotta do, just download the app because they all have smartphones, many of them coming over the border. Download the app, make an appointment, and the president of the United States will release you into a network of NGOs who will put you on a plane to the destination of your choice without any identification, by the way, while Americans are waiting in line to get through TSA, all on the dime of the American taxpayer. Ask yourself, is that right? Is that just? Is that good for America or anybody else involved? It's not. The open border combined with the incentives to come have produced a catastrophic year for our border patrol agents. In September 2023, US border patrol recorded more than 270,000 illegal alien encounters at the southern border in one single month. That was the largest ever up to that point. But guess what? That record was broken just a couple months later because in December, This past December 2023, CBP recorded more than 302,000 encounters, almost double the population of my hometown, Shreveport, Louisiana, in just one month. 302,000 people just walked right into the country, and we saw it down there with our own two eyes. And most recently, as president Biden has failed to exercise his constitutional obligation to police the border and protect Americans. Now he's undermined Texas's ability to protect its citizens, its residents. You know, Texas has a constitutional authority to take care of its people. Their first job of the government is to protect its citizens. And when Texas has acted to do that, The Biden administration and the president himself have intervened. They've taken them to court. They're cutting their razor wire. They're taking away the measures that that state of Texas has taken out of desperation to protect its own people. I could go on and on and on about all this. The numbers and the actions, the 64 actions that we've documented that president Biden has specifically taken to open that border wide up. It is crystal clear, his policy choices and secretary Mayorkas' refusal to comply with the law are driving this border catastrophe. The Biden administration has replaced detain and deport with catch and release. Instead of order, they have chosen for us disorder and chaos. Rather than securing the homeland, they've ceded the homeland to cartels and traffickers. By the way, at the at the Del Rio sector alone at Eagle Pass, Texas, they told us the cartels are are they are estimated, I think they said they're making $3,500,000 a day trafficking human beings into the country. Do the math. They're making over $1,000,000,000 a year bringing undocumented children, trafficked children, victims right into the country and and and and and bringing them in. They're doing this intentionally. They have chosen disorder and chaos. They have ceded the homeland of the traffickers and the cartels. And the Department of Homeland Security has effectively become a taxi driver to just help traffickers complete the last few miles of their human smuggling operation, and they're making 1,000,000,000 of dollars in the process. It's all absolute madness, and it is dismantling the safety of our communities. The House Judiciary Committee, where I served before I became speaker, recently released a report showing that right now, There are more than 617,000 aliens on ICE's nondetained docket nondetained docket who also have criminal convictions or pending criminal charges. That's right. You heard it right. That means that more than half a 1000000 Known criminals, illegal aliens are in the US in our communities, free to reoffend and victimize American people. The president's actions are also creating a permanent underclass in our society. Here's another sad secondary effect of this. An underclass of noncitizens who receive many of the benefits of citizen citizenship. He's inviting chaos and disorder within our land that is tearing at the very fabric of our society. The president Can put a stop to this? President Biden and secretary Mayorkas have designed this catastrophe. And now rather than accept any accountability or responsibility for what they've clearly done, president Biden wants to somehow try to shift the blame to congress for his administration's catastrophe by design. It's absolutely laughable. No one's falling for this. My counter is this. If president Biden wants us to believe he's serious about protecting our No security. He needs to demonstrate good faith and take immediate action to secure that border, but he won't do it. He needs to immediately stop the mass release of illegals into our country, but he won't do it. If he wants our House Republican conference to view him as a good faith negotiator, he could start with a stroke of a pen, but he's gotta do it quickly. Last week last week, I received a letter from former top FBI intelligence officials including the former assistant director of intelligence. Mister speaker, I I'd like to ask unanimous consent that the text of this letter be submitted into the congressional record. Without objection. In the letter, the signer said that America is facing a, quote, new and unfamiliar threat. As my colleagues know, you never wanna hear our intelligence leaders speak about an unfamiliar threat. But these former FBI officials told us that we are suffering, quote, a soft invasion along our southern border. They're They're stating what it what is obvious to all of us. They noted that we are experiencing a surge, listen to this, of military aged single men who are pouring into our country over the southern border from from adversarial nations, by the way, and and from terrorist regimes. When we were at Eagle Pass at the Del Rio sector in January, earlier January 3rd, with 64 house Republicans, they told us that between 60 to 70% of the people coming across the border right there at that epicenter are single adult males. They're military aged. These are not huddled masses of families seeking refuge and asylum. These are people coming into our country to do only god knows what, and we are allowing it. The Biden administration is allowing it. And and and we've noted that, they're coming from adversarial nations, from terrorist regions. We have no idea what what they're planning. But in fiscal year 2023, border patrol encountered illegals from a 170 different countries, including 100 from Iran, Syria, 1,000 from Russia, tens of 1,000 who have come in from China. Tell me that's not dangerous. In this letter, law enforcement and intelligence leaders are warning us that we may very well suffer a preventable terrorist attack here on the homeland if we don't immediately secure that border and remove these dangerous terrorists from inside our borders. House Republicans, of course, have acted. Last year, we passed the Secure the Border Act. This legislation would address the catastrophe. It would fix the asylum and parole processes that are so broken, it would support our border border patrol agents. The senate could take that bill up today. Chuck Schumer and the and the Democrats in the senate have been sitting on it in their majority for 9 months. They could do it right now. They could vote on that and and send it to the president's desk, but they won't. Why? Because they're apparently okay with all this as well. And while there may be some who think that it's not a good time to act, I disagree. Good policy, like a strong border and securing our nation and defending our sovereignty is always good politics. It's the right thing to do. It's the moral thing to do. It's the constitutional thing to do. It's the common sense thing to do, and I cannot, for the life of me, understand why the president won't agree with that. I've asked him myself repeatedly, mister president, do something about it. And he him hauls and pretends that he doesn't understand what his authority is. He knows what it is. To be sure we're not gonna agree to a fix that doesn't actually solve the problem. We would be derelict in our duty if we did that because we know what the problems are. We know how to fix them. And and just like the border official told us on that trip to the Rio Grande, House Republicans are not here to supply more buckets. We are here to stop the flow. And stopping the flow is not right rocket science. It takes political courage. It it takes transformational policy changes that we know what policy changes will accomplish that. This is not conjecture. It's not Republican talking points. This is what the experts at the border, at the epicenter tell us is necessary and needed, and it is insane that we will not supply it. We're also taking action this very week. Right now, we're doing this every day. I I'd like to thank representative Siskamani in McClintock and more for their hard work on very important bills, that that the house is considering. Even this week, these bills will hold foreign persons like criminal aliens accountable for their crimes and keep them out of our communities. One of one of those bills is the agent Raul Gonzales Officer Safety Act, of course, named for border patrol agent Raul Gonzales who died in the line of duty while pursuing a group of illegal aliens. It would provide stiffer penalties for aliens who attempted to evade arrest by the border patrol. We'll also consider a bill to ensure that aliens who are convicted of drunk driving are both deportable and inadmissible. Believe it or not, they're not currently. The the 3rd bill would provide stiffer penalties for illegal aliens who engage in Social Security identity theft. The 4th bill would ensure that aliens who have ties to Hamas and the Palestinian Liberation Organization will not be granted entry into the United States. These bills are obviously common sense measures to protect the American people. They should gain support of Republicans and Democrats, but my guess is not many Democrats will support it. And the Republicans in the house will continue to press for secure borders to ensure America's immigration system serves the national interest and does not benefit aliens who are a danger to our own people. Now last Friday, president Biden came out in support of the senate's deal, which we haven't seen yet. There's no text yet. But from what we've heard, this so called deal does include that does not include, sorry, does not include from we've what we've heard, these transformational policy changes that are needed to actually stop the border catastrophe. Among the reported details of the bill again, I'm working off reports because I haven't seen the text. But apparently, reportedly, a new authority would be created in the law so the president can, quote, shut down the border once daily crossings exceed 5000 a day. You Okay. Right. You heard that right. Okay. So it is illegal to cross our border, but apparently, we're concocting some sort of deal to allow the president to shut down the border after 5,000 people break the law. Why is it 5,000? If you add that up, there'd be a 1000000 more illegals into our country every year before we take remedial measures. It's madness. We should we should be asking what kind of enforcement authority kicks in at 5,000 illegal crossings a day. The number should be 0. 0. And I don't care what congressional district you go into in America, pull up, people at random on the street and ask them, hey. Should we allow 5,000 people to break our law each day to get a million into the country, or should we stop it at 0 and enforce our law? It's it's it's mad I don't know what another word to describe this. It's madness. Anything higher is simply surrender. Anything higher than 0 is surrendering our border, surrendering our sovereignty and our security. And it's important to point out, and I wanna make this very clear, the president's statement on Friday, he falsely claimed it was false claim that he needs Congress to pass a new law to allow him to close the southern border. He knows that's not true. The president has been around Washington a long time. Okay? And the president repeated his claim yesterday on the White House lawn. He said, quote, I've done all I can do. Just give me the power I've asked for. Moments after his comments, the president's own spokeswoman contradicted him and said, quote, there are things that are within his power to secure the border. Well, hello. Of course there are. The law is very clear. Anybody can Google this. Any American citizen could just pull this up and read it for themselves. Let's set the record straight. What he said is demonstrably false. I've explained to him specifically. I read the president of the United States the law, the black letter law on the phone about two and a half weeks ago. I said, mister president, it says very clearly, you have all the tools and the executive authority necessary to reverse the catastrophe that you have created. He has those tools right now and he has since day 1. The Immigration and Nationality Act, for example, coupled with coupled with recent Supreme Court president, give the president, quote, ample authority to suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens or impose any restrictions he may deem appropriate. That's the broadest authority that congress probably has ever given a president, and it's been there for a long, long time. In fact, The very provision that I just read you was used by the Obama administration more than 19 times. It's been used, I think, 69 times by presidents since 1980, but not by president Biden. He he pretends it's not there. Any attempt by this president to pretend that he's a bystander bereft of any ability to secure the border is patently absurd, and we're gonna continue to remind the American people of that. If we take a step back and we consider the current catastrophe at the border, we can all see that our country is at a critical decision point. We are at a moment where we have to decide right now as a congress, as a people. We have to decide as the American people if we have borders or not. We have to decide if we believe in the rule of law or not. We have to decide if we're a Sovereign nation or we're not. House Republicans do believe that America has borders and that we are a sovereign nation. We believe we must set limits on the number of immigrants who enter, obviously, and the American people have a say on immigration policy. Understanding who enters and enforcing our immigration laws are critical components to maintain a sovereign country. If you do not have sovereignty, you do not have a country. I also believe that border security is part of our solemn obligation to safeguard the well-being of our citizens and uphold the principles that define who we are as a nation. In no sense is border security somehow an act of hostility to neighboring countries. It's exactly the opposite. Because a weak border weakens America, and a strong border is good for America, and a stronger America is good for everybody around the world, and everybody in this chamber should acknowledge that. And just as we lock our doors at night to protect our homes, we secure our borders to protect our homeland. And my friends, that is our sacred obligation. We in the House Republican conference desperately wanna protect our homeland because we want to ensure that all of our children and grandchildren can continue to enjoy the blessings of liberty that we have enjoyed and that we have loved and experienced and and we can continue this grand experiment in self governance we began in 17/76. But here's the question. I'll leave you with this. Does president Biden want that? Does president Biden believe in the rule of law? Does president Biden believe that we're a sovereign nation? Does he believe that Americans and not those from other countries should be put first. Every American citizen should be asking these questions of the president and helping us demand his answers. We won't stop. We're gonna continue. And with that, I yield back.

We led a delegation of 64 House Republicans to the border. The deputy chief of border patrol told us that the situation feels like trying to control an open fire hydrant. He said we need to reduce the flow, and one way to do that is by reinstating Trump's policy of remaining in Mexico for asylum seekers. This alone could reduce the flow by 70%, but President Biden refuses to do it. Making a few other changes would solve the problem, but he won't take action.

President Biden blames Republicans for the border problem, accusing them of not wanting a secure border. Despite increased illegal crossings under his administration, Biden claims it is the Republicans' fault. He suggests that former President Trump is using the border issue for political gain.

NEW: President Biden says the border problem is Republicans' fault and claims Donald Trump doesn't actually want a secure border despite his efforts to install a border wall. This gaslighting is crazy. Illegal crossings are up 4x under Biden compared to Trump but according to Biden, this is all because of Republicans (Source: CBP) "Republicans have to decide. Speaker 0: Today, I'm gonna sign a few executive orders, to strengthen immigration system, building on, the executive actions I took on day 1 to protect dreamers and, to end the Muslim ban and to better manage our borders. That's what these, 3 different, executive orders are about. And I wanna make it clear. There's a lot of talk with good reason about the number of executive orders that I've signed. I'm not making new law. I'm eliminating bad policy. What I'm doing is taking on the issues that 99% was at the president the last president of the United States issued executive orders I thought were very counterproductive to our security, counterproductive to who we are as a country, particularly in, in, in the Arab immigration. This about, how America is safer, stronger, more prosperous when we have a fair, orderly, and, humane legal immigration system. And, with the first action today, we're gonna work to undo the moral and national shame of the previous administration that literally, not figuratively, ripped children from the arms of their families, their mothers and fathers at the border, and with no plan, none whatsoever, to reunify the children who were still in custody and, and their parents. The second action addresses the root causes of our migration to our southern border. And the 3rd action the 3rd order I'm gonna be signing orders a full review of the previous administration's harmful and counterproductive immigration policies, basically across the board. And so with that, I'm gonna sign the first order, which is a reestablishment of the NRACC task force and the reunification of families. You remember the stain on reputation for what the separation has caused. That is the first order. And the managed migration throughout the North and Central America and to provide safe and orderly processing of asylum seekers at the United States border. And the 3rd order I'm signing is restoring the faith in our legal immigration system and strengthening immigration and inclusion efforts for new Americans. My grandfather say the grace of god and the good will of the neighbors will reunite these children and reestablish our reputation as being a haven for people in need. Thank you very, very much.

Speaker 0: Do we know exactly what the president is considering here with his executive pen? Speaker 1: Yeah. It's changes, John, to who can say they qualify for asylum. Right now, anybody that makes it to the border can at least try to say that they are here for asylum. They there is talk here about making it so that you can only do that at a port of entry. But whatever these changes may be, it represents a huge change from where this White House was 1 year ago. Speaker 2: He has done more than any prior prior president to secure the border and build a safe, orderly, and humane immigration system. And that's what the president has been able to do. Speaker 1: A White House official is telling us today no executive action, no matter how aggressive, can deliver the significant policy reforms and additional resources congress can provide and that Republicans rejected. We continue to call on speaker Johnson and house Republicans to pass the bipartisan deal to secure the border. And maybe this is driving some of the urgency. The US BP chief, Jason Owens, tweeted over the weekend, agents across the southwest border apprehended ten undocumented subjects with violent criminal histories, including murder, rape, and drug or weapons trafficking. So far in fiscal year 24, they've apprehended 64 100 subjects with criminal convictions. Speaker 2: This is an election year. These are election year antics. Congress has not passed any border laws. So the crisis at the border is a direct result of his 60 plus executive actions that he signed. Speaker 1: And this is so different than what we've been told by president Biden. He had been saying for months that he has done everything he can do. Apparently, that's not true. John? Speaker 0: All he has to do is go back and look at the things that he rescinded on January 20th 2021, and he'd have an idea of what he could do. Peter? Speaker 1: The president of the United States has not been granted additional powers, by, like, the constitution since he took office. So the powers have been there the whole time. They are just choosing now to use them. Speaker 0: Yeah.

I don't believe for a second we're the nation that builds walls or whips up hysteria over immigration. No one will be deported in my administration. First time ever, we've told people they can't come to America. That ends. The cage is closed. Should undocumented immigrants arrested by local police be turned over to immigration officials? No. Trump's cruel and humane border policies, you know, you know, remain in Mexico program. I mean, all of this is gonna take time, not a long time, but it's gonna take you have to be prepared so we don't create another crisis. This is the first time ever you've had to seek asylum in a third country. It's outrageous. It's outrageous. Most of the people that you deported, didn't have a criminal record. I think it was a big mistake. No one no one will be deported at all. We're not gonna deport anybody who in fact has not in this country committed a felony. I would hold ICE agents accountable if in fact they stepped over my executive orders, which is you only arrest for the purpose of dealing with a felony that's committed, and I don't count drunk driving as a felony. ICE is gonna go back to school. We gotta surge resources for the asylum protectors. And we there's so much we can do. I'll reverse Trump's detrimental asylum policies, Raise our target for refugees. I would immediately, as president, surge to the border. I would end this Immigration judges Immigration judges to make make decisions immediately, and no one no one would be put in jail while waiting for their hearing. And those who come seeking asylum, we should immediately have the capacity to absorb them, keep them safe until they can be heard. A 15 second if you could if you wish to answer, should someone who is here without documents, and that is his only offense, should that person be deported? That person should not be the focus of deportation. This is the first president in the history of the United States of America that's anybody seeking asylum has to do it in another country. That's never happened before in America. That's never happened before in America. Only fellows get deported and everyone else Period. Pay. Yes. I started my career in immigration enforcement in 1984 and worked for 6 presidents. Every president secured the border until Biden, who intentionally left it unsecured. The border went from the most secure to historic illegal immigration levels. The administration moves people to ports of entry to show fewer illegal entries in between, but it failed. There were over 300,000 crossings from November to December. Biden's policies are causing people to come and stay, with 1.9 million "gotaways" proving the border is not secure.

Speaker 0: Started my career in in immigration enforcement in 1984 as a border agent. I've worked for 6 presidents up to Donald Trump. Every president I've ever worked for took some steps to secure the border, because they understood you can't have national strong national security if you don't have border security. And even president Obama gave me the presidential rank award, highest award available. Because what was I doing at the time? I was I was locating and deporting people in the country illegally. But president Biden is the 1st president in the history of this nation that I know of who came in office and unsecured a border on purpose. So we went from the most secure border of my lifetime, and it's not my just my opinion. I've done this for 34 years. Anybody can go to cbp.gov, look at the data, and within months, we went from the most secure border to historic illegal immigration, numbers we've never seen before. And it's not because it's seasonal. It's not because of climate change. It's not because of Trump. This is by design. This is shell game. They move people. They move thousands to the port of entry so they can claim less illegal entries between the port of entries, but it's failed because November to December, we saw record amounts of crossings on the border, over 300,000. They're coming and staying because of Biden's primuses. 1.9 1,000,000 gotaways. That statement alone, to convince anybody on either side, 1,900,000 gotaways, the border is not secure, is ridiculous to claim so.

Immigration is an issue with working-class voters because of the lack of progress we've made. Republicans weaponize this lack of progress. Last year, there was a bipartisan bill that the Republican majority in the Senate and the House were willing to pass, and President Biden was willing to work with them on it, but Donald Trump told them not to solve the problem. Republicans do not want to solve any issues with immigration. They are completely uninterested in addressing undocumented people or a path to citizenship. Speaker 0: People voting for the other side and not for you, feeling that Democrats are not serious about the issue in ways that concern them. Speaker 1: I think that we have a problem on immigration because of the lack of progress that we've had on this issue. And as we know, Republicans weaponize that lack of progress. Of course, there was famously a bipartisan bill last year that the Republican majority in in the Senate and also in the House were willing to pass. President Biden was willing to work with them on it. And Donald Trump said, do not solve this problem. As long as it is broken, then it will be politically beneficial for us. And so it is a problem not just for Democrats. It's a problem for the entire country that Republicans do not want to solve any sort of issue with immigration. They are completely uninterested in addressing undocumented people, in addressing a path to citizenship. Speaker 0: Well, they do want to address undocumented people by removing them. I mean, that's what the president is attempting now. Speaker 1: Even then, you see what Republicans did with the Lake and Riley Act recently in their passage with it, in that they authorized the complete gutting of due process. So now you can take a DACA recipient, a DREAMer, just accuse them of a crime. Speaker 0: Deport them. Speaker 1: -And deport them. And, however, they also understand that they don't even have the infrastructure to do that. So they're actually creating not just a it's not even about creating a deportation pipeline. They are creating a private prison camp, pipeline. So they're still creating, pipelines to just increase this problem here in The United States.

But I will say for some of my legacy media colleagues, though it pains me to have to describe them as such. Just a humble tip. If the questions that you're asking, if I were to just read a blank transcript of them, and they probably could have been read or written by a propagandist on behalf of MS thirteen or trendy Aragua, it probably means that you're not asking a very good question. I think Caitlin Collins is probably only a few days away from becoming an honorary member of MS thirteen, and I would extend that honor because they probably think it is one out to probably virtually all of the press corps because it seems that the only time that the word immigrant, immigration, refugee, or any Latin American country can cross their mouths or enter their vernacular, sort of like a Kamala Harris effect. Right? The only time she could say the word sovereignty was when she was down at the border once on the campaign in Tucson, then suddenly it seemed to diminish and abate from her vocabulary in its entirety. But the only time that these sick, twisted people want to talk about immigration, legal, illegal, or otherwise, is in the confines of trying to get a gotcha moment against president Trump. And I don't know. I'll just be blunt. The American people do not care about deporting or what the lived experience of some thug violent gang member is after they've been deported from this country. I don't care about the paperwork, and I really don't care if they were in the right seat or the wrong seat. Right? I think we saw on the campaign trail, and frankly, since president Trump descended down the escalator on that very fateful day, the legacy media loves to play referee and set the goalposts when it comes to what our discussion has to be about anything related to immigration, legal, illegal, or otherwise. And the only time that my legacy media betters will ask a question about immigration is in an effort to smear and mock president Trump's deportation agenda. And just like what we saw the outrage, the rightful and justified outrage, the righteous indignation about what was happening in, say, for example, Springfield, Ohio, the American people don't wanna talk about respecting the human rights and due process of people who probably have more stuff in common with animals than they do humanity. We wanna talk about how these deportation numbers, how we can get them up, how we can reform legal immigration, how we can stop subverting this country's culture from within by importing an enemy, oftentimes peoples from countries that were basically at not maybe not kinetic war, but certainly economic war with. Right? Whatever happened to it was that the thousands of Chinese nationals that entered this country under Joe Biden. Right? They love to only look at immigration in the confines of a political gotcha moment against president Trump when the rest of this country looks at immigration as an issue that's not just about immigration, but it's something economic, it's political, it's societal, and most importantly, it's cultural. And anybody who thinks that defending illegal aliens by saying, well, it's actually not a crime. It's a civil offense to enter this country illegally. Yet good luck in the midterms. Very good luck in the midterms to you. And by the way, it's the same people who are so quick to make that distinction right between civil and criminal offenses. Well, did you see them ever apoplectic or melting down about? I don't know. What was it? The hundreds, if not thousands of terrorism enhancement charges that January 6 participants had added to their record? They're more upset about designating FS thirteen and trendy Ragua as foreign terrorist organizations and deporting foreign terrorists than actual American citizens being treated as as such. Right? They care more, I think, about the chain of custody and making sure that criminal illegal aliens have all of their human rights. Whatever weird UN Geneva framework they've come up with for these disgusting people being honored on these deportation flights that they care about investigating or looking into the chain of custody of mail in ballots. Right. It's very, very selective outrage. And it's quite interesting. We, I think, have advocated here on this show since before the election that we shouldn't just be talking about mass deportations, but we should be talking about mass denaturalizations too. And, yes, media matters. I hope you heard me on that one. But in the same vein that Joe Biden just gets to what? And I'm not talking. Auto pen signed preemptive blanket pardons, but just grant millions, probably at the end of the day, over 10,000,000 illegal aliens with some form of citizenship or a green card or a visa. That doesn't mean anything, not just because he was an illegitimate president, but there are certainly legal ways to look into denaturalizing these people. And I think that the president and that this White House should be looking into that full steam and full force ahead. Because I would certainly love to see my, my legacy media colleagues meltdown about that one. But I think we can give credit where credit is due. Obviously, we have hammered. I think on the show that the deportation numbers, though the crossings of the border have plummeted, we need to have, I guess, a perpendicular track record when it comes to these deportations and see that number exponentially grow, maybe even more so than the fake climate change hockey stick graph. But to the Trump administration's credit, I mean, right. You know, they've been talking about it since even before President Trump won the fear porn, the propaganda, the information warfare that they were going to be waging on all of us. Right? All the sob stories. I'm sure you all remember, and I'm not just talking about the legalization of domestic propaganda or CNN intentionally airing, you know, pictures of children dying in wars. Well, they'll never air pictures of American children being killed by illegal aliens. But I guess if it serves the military industrial complex, then they'll make an exception. But it really is quite wild that for the tens of thousands of people that the Trump administration has successfully deported, that the best gotcha moment they can manufacture really boils down to two people, and that is the Maryland man. Used to be Maryland father. Now I guess he's just a Maryland man who was what? An MS thirteen member. And then, of course, the, the infamous notorious makeup artist. And it really is quite impressive. Like I was saying of the, what, tens of thousands of people that they've deported. The best that they can do, the best accusation that they can hurl against the Trump administration is that, well, maybe two of the people, yeah, fudged the paperwork. Maybe they were just, being like Democrats on mail in ballots. But it's quite telling, and it's a testament to that successful operation. Right? Maryland man, I guess that's just like, what was it? Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, the US year religious scholar, also known as the leader of the Islamic State, but the Washington Post, I guess, didn't want to describe him as that. But I guess you also get special treatment if you're a member of a terrorist organization because apparently, senator Chris Van Hollen has requested a meeting with the wonderful president of El Salvador, Naibou Kelly, to discuss the status of that so called missing Maryland man demanding answers like a petulant child because apparently, the Democrats' perverse version of a social contract is that they're gonna keep selling you down the river with, I don't know, trade deals and immigration policy. But if you wanted to port a criminal foreign terrorist organization member, well, then you get a special meeting, not even with, a member of the house, but with a full blown senator because that makes a lot of sense. But I I would just say humbly to all of these wonderful Democrats who really on full display have shown their love not for this country, but for, again, foreign terrorist organizations that we probably wouldn't have had to flood the zone with all these EOs and deportations, and this whole mess of an operation would not have to be so haphazard and massive and colossal if you guys have not flooded this country with tens of millions of illegal aliens. And I'm not just talking under Joe Biden, but years past and years prior, and we know what you guys probably tried to do under president Trump too. And then it's quite funny because there's a beautiful article, I believe, came up yesterday in Politico Denver. If you want to toss that up, populists are gaining power and keeping it. What comes next? And it goes in details. They almost get there. They're close enough, but not quite. They don't realize that it's actually this mass immigration, and that's too euphemistic a term. This mass invasion of every western country by third world backwards cultures that hate us and don't have to go over to Iran to hear them chanting death to America. You can hear it a lot closer to home. But that is what is undergirding this global populist movement that believe me, Politico is absolutely panicking and in meltdown over. But the real reason that the populist movement right now is having such a moment and is so ascendant. Is because, well, all of the levers that they used to try to throttle us, whether it was the censorship USAID, the state department, all of these weird pro democracy initiatives. I think anytime you hear the word pro democracy, it should make the hair on your neck stick up almost as much as when you hear comprehensive immigration reform or another Ukraine aid package, but they no longer have the levers of institutional power to push back on what is the ascendant global populist movement. And might I just just add while we're at it? The left, of course, is also melting down over terrorists being deported from college campuses. Although fair point, I think there are probably a lot of homegrown terrorists and anti American activists on those campuses too. But I think that they need to be going after the professors as well. The foreign professors And a lot of the Chinese Communist Party funded, if not outright linked and controlled, owned and operated researchers. I think just limiting the confines of who you're deporting on these college campuses to people who are anti Semitic or anti Israel is not right. It should be under the the purview of who is anti America. Right? This is The United States Of America, and I think they need to broaden out the scope. I think, like I said, Chinese Communist Party funded researchers and, frankly, all the foreign students should have been gone yesterday. How's that for a late Sunday afternoon? E l. But this administration really is firing on all cylinders, and you can see it in the way. Caitlin Collins, the wonderful Caitlin Collins is melting down in the briefing room. But I want to broaden this out to, I guess, an exclusive story for you guys here on the war room that I broke this morning having to do with foreign governments, if you can believe it, actively researching and studying how they can best thwart within their own countries, a populist uprising in terms of supporting restrictionists. That's what they describe it as immigration policies in the style of president Trump. Denver, if you wanna toss the report cover up, it's called no bias here, countering misinformation about refugees and migrants. Fun fact, not only was it funded by an Australian government subsidized research research institution, but also the, behavioral insights technology. It's a global consulting firm that has a lot of contracts with the federal government. I guess, where is Doge when when you need it? But they put out this forty, fifty some odd page report, working. They've become so radical. It's no longer just about debunking misinformation. They're actually in the business of prebunking information. In other words, they don't even want you to be able to conceptualize dirty thoughts about illegal aliens and mass migration to begin with. Let that sink in. Global researchers in conjunction with federal contractors conspiring together to make it so you can't even have unpure thoughts or negative thoughts about mass migration. And to that point where they say that legal aliens are used as political scapegoats for all things that are going wrong in this country. I don't necessarily think that's true. I think here in the war room, we call it the deep state for for what it's worth, but whatever they can, share credit, I guess. But one of the top examples that they use in terms of prebunking, and I'll read you the direct quote, you can also toss the picture up on screen, is, quote, in The US, Trump has introduced new border control measures and announced plans for mass deportations. Some European leaders are considering following suit. In this context, misinformation may circulate in the near future, warns the paper. They then go on to explain, and you can put the other picture up where they show you this nice little HR UN style flowchart where they help you prebunk these, what they describe as myths about the scale of illegal immigration, the scope of illegal immigration, crimes committed by illegal aliens, and, of course, the impending, if not already occurring housing crisis at the hands of illegal aliens. And, frankly, I think the real buried lead here is that rather than curtail the number of immigration, legal or illegal, they would rather engineer and terraform your psychological response to it. Right? That's quite telling. Rather than work with the population at home who has obviously expressed anti immigration sentiment, they would rather try to psychologically manipulate you, that's what they're studying, into being pro open borders. That's the elite ruling class. That's your betters that we're up against. I guess, speaking of narrative control, they wheeled out, I guess, another wonderful open borders globalist, although, I guess, the only border he cares about is his own. That is, of course, none other than Volodymyr Zelensky, who got the wonderful sixty minutes treatment last night on just a whole bash Trump episode. I have a few cuts that I wanna play. I'll put a trigger warning for those of us. I guess it's a little close to tax day, so I apologize. But in case you are wondering what your hard earned tax dollars are going to support, I'll give you a little super cut. Denver, let's roll it. Speaker 1: Dictator and said that Ukraine started this war. What did you think? I believe, sadly, Russian narratives are prevailing in The US. How is it possible to witness our losses and our suffering, to understand what the Russians are doing, and to still believe that they are not the aggressors, that they did not start this war? This speaks to the enormous influence of Russia's information policy on America, on US politics, and US Politicians. Speaker 2: You're not in a good position. You don't have the cards right now. Speaker 1: And Zelenskyy told us he heard Russia's narrative from Trump officials in that disastrous Oval Office meeting in February. Speaker 2: Think you're gambling with World War three. Speaker 1: Would you invite president Trump to Ukraine? Speaker 2: With pleasure, please. Speaker 1: This Zelenskyy apparently wanted president Trump to hear in English. Speaker 2: We want you to come and, I think, to come and to see. You think you understand what's going on here, okay. We respect your position, you understand. But please, before any kind of decisions, any kind of formats of negotiations, Come. To see people, civilians, warriors, hospitals, churches, children, destroyed or dead. Come, Look and then let's move with the plan how to finish the war. You will understand with whom you have a deal. You will understand what Putin did and we will not prepare anything. It will not be theater with preparing actors in the streets and etcetera. We don't do this. We don't need it. You can go exactly where you want in any city which has been under attacks. What I said to them, just come and to understand. Speaker 1: With his invitation on its way, he switched to Ukrainian. Does The United States have your back? The US has donated about $175,000,000,000 in aid. Roughly 100,000,000,000 of that was military, most of which was spent in The US on manufacturing American weapons. What would you say that the American people have gotten for that money? We have always believed that this is our shared struggle, that Ukraine is defending our shared values, that we are defending Europe as a whole. I can only thank the people of The United States Of America for their support, their strong support. But the people dying right now, with all due respect to The US and Europe, the ones dying right now are Ukrainians. This is why I say that by giving us weapons, other countries are protecting their own people. Speaker 0: Yeah. You can save your thanks. I think what the American people really want is, well, frankly, no more money to go to you and your corrupt oligarchic friends, but we want an audit and a retroactive audit at that. And also shame on you for saying it's only Ukrainians who are dying or I believe you referred to The United States as a partner of yours. Don't really think that that's a coequal relationship in any sense of the word. A lot of Americans are dying too, and I would have rather allocated those $175,000,000,000 to what wasn't probably stopping the fentanyl crisis, stopping, I don't know, the poorest southern border, the invasion that was going there, or any of the myriad of health emergencies that this country's undergone while we've been shipping away, God knows what to your country that's probably only funneling at least half, probably more of those weapons to the black market. I mean, at this point, I think the only, strategic advantage that the Ukraine could potentially have for The United States would be turning it into another version of El Salvador where we could deport illegals too. And I stand by that wholeheartedly. Media matters. You know, it's it's quite funny. Right? The irony, it's not okay for Russia, right, to cross the border of Ukraine. But I guess when it's The United States, if you're just a Maryland man, which is apparently a euphemism for what domestic terrorists or foreign terrorists in that case, then you have free rein to invade The United States all that you want. And if you're not on the right seat when you're being deported, then you'll have the entire praetorian guard of the legacy media running cover for you. And I guess while we're at it, the legacy media that's also right apoplectic over the tariffs, it's quite funny. Ukraine aid is really great for America's industrial base. Right? It's really good at building that up and creating jobs. Well, you know what else is really great for America's industrial base since apparently you guys care about that so much? A little thing that starts with a t called tariffs, But I don't think that they're getting the same kind treatment that Volodymyr Zelenskyy or any of the other Ukrainian oligarchs, corrupt oligarchs at that, and I'm being nice in my characterization, have received in terms of media coverage. And by the way, tariffs are less severe of an economic impact on The United States than any of these United's than any of these Ukraine aid packages. And I'm not just talking from a fiscal perspective, but from how the fact of how close we've been drawn in to World War three, angering the Chinese Communist Party, and angering Russia at that. But I guess democracy dies in darkness. Right? So therefore, we should just continue to ceaselessly sell our tax dollars down the river. And I guess democracy also dies when you start deporting foreign terrorists, convicted foreign terrorists at that. That's the America that we live in. We're gonna get into all things speaking of maybe not foreign, maybe not full blown terrorists, but, aiding and abetting domestic terrorists, foreign ones too. Mark Zuckerberg after the short break. Speaker 2: I've Speaker 0: gotta go run and grab a

Let me be clear: None of this would be happening if Joe Biden and the Democrats didn’t open the door for millions of illegals. Sometimes cleaning up a mess is dirty. But it is necessary nonetheless. https://t.co/IEenbW29o2

TRUMP calls out Obama and Biden for the massive amount of MISSING CHILDREN and the open border catastrophe. "We're finding tens of thousands of missing children, and most of this happened because of Biden's open border." "We can never have open borders again." https://t.co/IxkImRNE6o

Speaker 0: Can you talk about the number of missing children you guys have discovered in Memphis? That's amazing. Speaker 1: Well, it's hundreds of thousands were lost through Biden and the Biden administration, and we are getting a lot of them back. But they're either dead, they're slaves, they're captured in some form. But think of it, hundreds of thousands we're talking about. Not even believable. And they came in through the border, they were sold, They were bargained for. And this was all Biden. Meaning Biden and Obama, the same, you know, the same mentality, frankly. I think it's the same mentality. Let me tell you, Barack Hussein Obama was a lousy president. A lot of bad things happened. Remember when they used to talk about Trump with the jail cells? Well, he built the jail cells for the children. He built those jail cells. Remember that came out? But sure, they were built in 2014. You remember when that came out after me going through that stuff for about two weeks, and then they found out it was Barack Obama that built those jail cells. No. These people are they were bad leaders. I hope I hope we don't have it again. I hope we don't have it again because, you know, our country has come back a long way, but it can only withstand so much, and we don't wanna ever go through that again. We never wanna have open borders again. We don't wanna have we don't wanna have men playing women's sports. We don't wanna have transgender for everybody. We don't want that. We wanna have a great country with low interest rates, nice housing, great education, a strong military. The basics. Yes, please.
