I observed a coach bus in San Antonio that seemed to be involved with migrants, raising questions about where they were headed. As I followed the bus, I noted its slogan and witnessed it pull into the airport's terminal. The driver called for police to have me arrested, and soon after, I was confronted by SAPD officers who questioned me and ultimately arrested me for trespassing. I’m now advocating for a peaceful protest this Saturday to raise awareness about the situation.

Speaker 0: Gotta give me a dress password. Speaker 1: Right now. That's your warning. So, guys, I am currently at the Migrant Center in San Antonio, Texas where NGOs are facilitating human smuggling of migrants into America. If you look right here, you actually have Speaker 0: a San Antonio police department car, watching as a lookout, basically guarding this area. They're taking side contracts in relations to these NGOs actually being paid a Significant amount to guard this area. And I'll walk down here just to show you this even more. Speaker 1: They're in their official San Antonio PD uniforms To top Speaker 0: it off, with their San Antonio PD cards as well. Just to give you a little background real quick. Are you guys on duty right now? Speaker 1: We're Speaker 0: So you're being are you being contracted by the NGOs then? Why did you tell him just no. So you guys are being contracted by the NGOs? Speaker 1: None of your business. No no comment. Speaker 0: It's none of my business. You're San Antonio police, but you're being contracted and paid by NGOs. You're being paid time and a half? Speaker 1: No comment. Speaker 0: No comment? But you did confirm you're not on duty. This is a side job for you. So you are being paid by the NGOs? Do you think that's a conflict of interest at all? Speaker 1: Back up. What about you? Speaker 0: So you got San Antonio PD here Speaker 1: Back up. Speaker 0: Being paid by the NGOs Speaker 1: Back up. Speaker 0: To essentially facilitate the human trafficking illegal migrants into the country. Speaker 1: Outside the gate. Can I Speaker 0: ask you guys a question? These NGOs claim they're not paying for migrants' flights, but the migrants are saying the exact opposite. How this facility in specific works is if the migrants are held here for a certain amount of time without actually being released, then they they claim that they can't pay. Ma'am, can I talk to you? Yeah. She doesn't wanna hear it because she already knows. So why are you not investigating this for human smuggling because they're paying for these migrants' flights into cities into America because you're the police. So this is something that you should be investigating. They're lying about paying for migrants' flights when in reality, they absolutely are paying for migrants flights and sometimes even double booking and then charging the federal government back. So they're scamming people. But why Why are you guys, as police officers, not looking into this? And instead, you're taking money from these NGOs and these affiliated organizations. Speaker 1: No comment. Speaker 0: No comment? Again? No. As police officers, you don't think that you and your official uniform is a conflict of interest at all? Okay. And you got Lookout over here providing security as well. Speaker 1: Okay, man. Why do Speaker 0: you guys have San Antonio PD Cars here, while you're in your uniforms, guarding a migrant facility that is engaging in human smuggling. Speaker 1: No comment. Speaker 0: No comment? So you have these 2 gentlemen up front helping human smugglers as they're on the police force in their Official capacity, but taking money on a side gig. That's what he said earlier. So they're being paid by these NGOs, allowing human smuggling to happen when they should be investigating what is human smuggling into America. No comment on that either? Nope. No comment on anything tonight. Do you think what you're doing is moral? Speaker 1: No comment. Speaker 0: No comment? You probably don't care it's moral because it pays good. Right? Speaker 1: No comment. Speaker 0: No comment? What about you, sir? You haven't said much other than telling him not to talk to me tonight. Do you think this is appropriate what Speaker 1: you're doing? Speaker 0: Can I get your guys' badge numbers? Speaker 1: Yeah. Speaker 0: What's your badge number? Speaker 1: 221 3. Speaker 0: 2213. What about you, sir? Speaker 1: I can hear you one. But you said this is a side Speaker 0: job, so who's paying you? Speaker 1: You didn't know that. Speaker 0: Why don't I Speaker 1: even know that? If you don't. Why are you Speaker 0: in San Antonio police department uniforms if you're off the clock that's it on here. With your San Antonio PD cars here? Speaker 1: I don't need to answer Speaker 0: that question here. Speaker 1: You don't need to answer it? Speaker 0: No. Why won't you Speaker 1: answer it? I don't need to. Speaker 0: You don't think it's a conflict Speaker 1: of interest? Speaker 0: I'm a reporter. I'm asking you. Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. You don't Speaker 0: care who I am? Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. Speaker 0: So you are being paid by the NGOs? I don't Speaker 1: care who you are. Speaker 0: So you have San Antonio PD here. Speaker 1: Is you need to get outside the gate. Speaker 0: San Antonio PD here being so you're not gonna answer a Speaker 1: property. Outside the gate. You can stand out there and put all you want to. All the time. Speaker 0: So why are you in public uniforms? You guys are public officials. You work for the you basically get paid by taxpayer dollars, but you're here off the clock being paid by NGOs that are facilitating human trafficking. Correct? It's kinda weird how you're dodging this. It's a simple yes or no question. Speaker 1: I question. So you are? I answered your question. Speaker 0: You're kind of answering my question by not answering my question. And considering I know you're already being paid by the NGOs, it seems even more suspicious that you're not willing to admit to it. Quite literally helping facilitate human smuggling Speaker 1: the gate. Into America. That's the gate area here outside. Call them. Hands them out. Wait across the street. Speaker 0: So they're running security and making sure everyone has wristbands before they come in here. Insane. Speaker 1: I said outside the gate. Speaker 0: 2213. Can I see your badge, sir? Speaker 1: No. I already told you what it was. Will you Speaker 0: show me your badge? No. Because I I'm not really inclined to believe you with all the shady activity going on here. Speaker 1: Not your problem. Speaker 0: How much are you getting paid to be here? Speaker 1: What'd I just tell you? Outside the gate. Speaker 0: Is it time and a half? You can get the official owners to trespass me if you'd like. Outside the gate. You gotta give me a warning. Uh-huh. You gotta give me a trespass warning. Right now. That's your warning. Alright. So so San Antonio what? What's your name? Mikkel Wayne. What a name. So facilitating human smuggling of migrants into America. He's mad that I'm standing past this little line right here, but he's quite literally helping, human smugglers facilitate their illegal activities into Okay. Insane. Welcome to America in 20

I uncovered a secretive facility in Tucson and an NGO called "Alita's Angels" in Nogales. While filming, we faced resistance from volunteers and were falsely accused of racial slurs. The facility is run by a new nonprofit called "Alita's Angels" with no tax records. Casa Alitas, associated with them, confirmed receiving federal money. These groups are part of a network funding mass migration without proper vetting. Stay tuned for more updates from the Mexican border. Additionally, an "Alitas" facility opened less than a year ago is now available for lease.

“I’M YOUR FATHER!” @okeefemedia EXPOSES secret ‘Alitas’ facility at 1150 W. Drexel in Tucson as well as ‘Alitas Angels’ located at 112 Park street inside old Bank Building in Nogales NOGALES — We just followed the trail of the migrant vans right to the source, visiting the Arizona border town of Nogales, where we encountered some rude and suspicious “Alita’s Angels” NGO (@alitasangels) workers who once again called the police on us. A volunteer with the American Red Cross, who wouldn’t give us his name, tried to prevent us from filming outside a migrant facility and kept sticking his hand over our cameras. Then, when we questioned a volunteer with the NGO, she said “I am your father” and stormed off. Nogales Police officers showed up and questioned us after Alitas and Red Cross workers falsely accused us of using racial slurs and inhibiting their movement. We tried to get the officer’s first name but he refused to give it. When we FOIAed the bodycam footage, we were told Nogales police don’t use them. A group called “Alita’s Angels” runs the facility, but they’re a brand-new nonprofit with no tax records on file. (We requested the documents, with no luck.) A WORKER with Casa Alitas CONFIRMED TO OUR UNDERCOVER journalist that Casa Alitas was getting federal money. Once the migrants were boarded on the bus, we got a head start to meet them at a processing facility an hour away in Tucson, but once again, we couldn't get anywhere near the building. The staff of the facility, run by Casa Alitas, threatened to call the cops again, but we managed to interview a local driver who does business at the facility and he gave us even more information. These “Alitas” (http://alitasangels.com) groups are part of a shadowy network of secretive nonprofits funding the mass migration of millions of people into the country, without truly vetting asylum seekers' claims and determining if they are eligible for refugee status. This is a DEVELOPING STORY: Stay tuned for more reporting from the Mexican border.

So we're actually gonna go down downtown Nogales right on the border, that's the fence dividing Mexico, United States. If you scroll right over here, this bank or this former bank building has been turned into an NGO, called the elitist angels, and the elitist angels NGO take the migrants, walk around the corner, and load them onto buses, where American Red Cross workers are staying there. It's actually a former bank, but notice it says, this is not a bank, esta no es banco. This is not a bank, this is actually a local NGO organization where they have this sort of makeshift migrant facility. They actually locked the door when I showed up here. There are there are buses bound for Phoenix Sky Harbor, Tucson International Airport inside this facility. One American Red Cross worker got really belligerent with me and almost grabbed the camera and covered his badge, so that we couldn't see it. I read his badge out loud. Why are you sir, why are you blocking the camera? Out of respect for humans. Okay. What do you mean respect? Speaker 3: I no discussion. No. Speaker 0: No. Sir, Tucker, Carrie, Vincent, Why are you why are you covering your badge? Why? Why are you covering your badge? I'm done. Where are you going? California. Why would you hide your badge? Speaker 3: I have no obligation to speak with you. Speaker 0: Yeah. No. No. Actually, I disagree with you. I think that as a a public official who's getting 100 of 1,000,000 of dollars in federal money, I actually Can you do something? Okay. Speaker 2: Sure. Speaker 0: Now now you're you're switching gears here. The moment we show up, they scattered they scattered incredibly like people with something to hide, blocking doors, running away, hiding their badges in their vests. Leave him alone. I I have a right to be here, ma'am. Leave him alone. Who are you? LaFada. LaFada. Ma'am, what do you mean you're my father? I have a father. He's in New Jersey. I'm here. And this guy over there is talking. Were getting valuable information because the man over there talking to the officials worked with us. Just by us walking over to this bus, they'd actually called the police on us. Every time I show up anywhere, they just instantly call the police. Alright. I'd like your name and badge number, please. Garcia 276. What's your first name? Garcia. Your name is just Garcia? Mhmm. Speaker 1: Can I have your full name, please? Speaker 0: No. Speaker 1: Can I have your full name, please? No. Speaker 0: You guys are just Well, I'm an American journalist, I don't protest, I report. What did they say? They're just, accusing you guys of not letting someone go. Well, we have the footage. So as you can see there, the officers, talking to them, talked to me, went back, and they've made some story about how we're using racial slurs. Originally, they said we're using racial. Racial, sir. Speaker 2: I don't like people like you. Why not? We're racist. You have to try to attack the people we Well, it's huge. Speaker 0: The one gentleman came up and it looked like he wanted to hurt me. He had his hand in his pocket there. Get them. Speaker 2: Go get nothing. What's that? Go get nothing. Speaker 0: Who are you? Speaker 2: Me? Yeah. It's not it's not And I touch faith in faith too, and I don't that I don't turn nothing with the people. Yeah. You took what you cannot talking about. Speaker 0: The guy who runs international rescue committee makes over $1,000,000 a year off bringing people in this country. David Miliband is his name, and his company brings in $400,000,000 from the feds. Speaker 2: You you try to attack the people who were killed. Speaker 0: I have it all on video. I filmed everything. So I didn't attack anybody. But then he found out That we were investigating reporters and he let us be. Speaker 2: Okay. Speaker 0: Eliteas is a brand new 5 1 c 3 non profit organization. So we're gonna go to Tucson, follow the white buses, and see the other facility where they hold the migrants and get more information about elitist. So we're standing here at Santa Cruz and Drexler in Tucson in front of this major elitist facility that you probably never knew existed. This is the bus that left from the Galleys and has just arrived. How are you doing, sir? Speaker 4: Speaking. Speaker 0: Hi. You mind if we, talked to the bus? No. No. We're we're a journalist. We're doing a story. This bus here Speaker 2: came from a Speaker 4: We have a situation out here on the South Speaker 0: is that me? Are they talking about me? Yeah. What's the situation? I know you're here. I I don't have to ask you guys. I'll have to situation you hear through the radio, you can actually hear on the security guard's radio that there's a quote situation about my presence. And here comes another look at this guy waddling. If you wanna zoom in on the waddling here, swaddling towards me. I don't know what that's about. Are we allowed to stand on the dirt, ma'am? I don't. No comment. Speaker 4: No comment. Speaker 2: There's no comment. Speaker 0: This all this right here, it's part of this property. So who are what's your name and who are you with? Don't worry about it. None of you. None of your business, man. I'm gonna have you guys Actually, I do worry about it because you guys get a couple $100,000,000 in federal money. See your face. All the authorities right now. What? Did you guys still hear that's fine? Speaker 2: You guys go away Speaker 0: You're gonna call the police on American journalists. See, they'll they'll rip up the constitution. We just spoke with Caleb Milford, the operations manager who threatened to call the police on us for our presence here. As you can see, it's this Pima County, Arizona. A lot of county officials wearing the badges. Santa Cruz County. Are you with the county of Santa Cruz or? Hey. So it's not They have school buses and we've got big white buses through the fence. He said something like it's none of my business again. Thought of my business, when in fact, this is a facility as you can see it there's a lot of activity going on, buses coming and going every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes, they are very scared about our presence here and none of the American people know about this facility until now. We just spoke to the Uber driver who's pulling in to pick up the migrants. You're in Uber? Are you are you picking up refugees? Yeah. That's You are picking up the refugees. I know a lot of people here. How long has this been, Nava? A year? A year? Yep. A year. And what is you know what the you know if you know Alita's? Yep. I'm at, Jesson. Do you not go in? I I I I have his phone above. And the Uber driver gave me the phone of 2 employees that work for Casa elitas. In fact, he saved them on his device as Jorge Casa elitas and Jeanette Castleson. Jorge and Jeanette. Mhmm. Thank you. Alright. We're calling Jorge from elitist. Hey there. This is, this is James standing outside the elitist facility? Yes. There's a shipment, I guess, of of migrants coming into the facility. The Speaker 5: 1150 West Drexel, But nobody's Speaker 4: allowed into the facility. Okay. They're drivers. Speaker 0: So the car just has to park on the side here? Speaker 4: That is correct. Speaker 0: But just to be clear, I'm speaking with the right person. You're with the Speaker 4: No. No. No. Oh. I think you're you're confused. Speaker 0: Okay. Well, my name is James O'Keefe and I'm an before doing an investigation into you and your facility. And I'd like to ask you some questions. So I actually called Jorge, who denied his own identity as having worked with Casa. Speaker 4: Yeah. I think you've got the wrong person. So, no, I don't you You call CCS or webbing you talk to. Speaker 0: You sound pretty knowledgeable about the subject for someone who has nothing to do with Speaker 5: it. 1150 was dreadful, but Speaker 0: So so I I I followed the buses all the way from the galleys to your facility, sir. And we're standing outside. Speaker 4: Continue with the investigation. That's fine. That's fine. Speaker 0: I doubt you're gonna be happy with, oh, he just gonna have the phone on us. Because even though he's saved in the Uber driver's phone, so there's 2 organizations, one is elitist angels and the other is called Casa elitas. We know it's called Casa elitas because the Uber driver picking up the migrants has the employees saved as Jorge Casa elitist and Jeanette Casa elitist, the Uber driver. Strangely giving me the phone numbers for the people just because I have a tag around my neck, I don't think he saw the word press there in the dead of the night. There's a metaphor there some place. Speaker 4: And confirmed they were coordinating with the Pima County sheriff to Secure the perimeter of the hotel. They're calling the cops. No, sir. Why? Because I need to secure the per building. Why is that? Perimeter. Why is that? Speaker 3: Because that's what we do. Speaker 4: Okay. Speaker 3: I'm recording you, by the way, too. Speaker 1: You're recording me? Why'd you do that? Speaker 3: Because I got people coming in the bus immediately. Speaker 4: As he said that, a bus filled with illegal immigrants rolled in every 15 minutes. Speaker 1: Why are people coming in a bus? Who's in your business? What is going on here? We got a bus with people? Speaker 4: Another journalist, Ashley St. Clair, Posed as a private ministry ranch owner in Arizona and talked to the same security guard and police officer, Christian Moritz. Speaker 0: Fine. We are from, local we have a local ministry ranch. We wanted to talk to someone about resources to help These folks Speaker 1: This is Speaker 3: just a holding place. Speaker 4: So right Speaker 0: along. So they come in. Speaker 3: Border patrol right here coming in. Speaker 0: Once they leave through border patrol Yep. What they're saying with border patrol is that they have a sponsor, somebody to go to, somebody to take care of them, yeah, show up to their fort date. Speaker 4: The officer told Ashley St. Clair that in order to be flown around the country, the illegal immigrants need a sponsor, but many of them lie about it. Speaker 0: Bike? So a lot of times what happens is they're supposed to. When they come across the border, they're supposed to have a sponsor. If they lie about that sponsor, if they're not giving the government, you know, border patrol the truth, cool stuff Yeah. They shouldn't be over Okay. Supposed to go. Okay. So that border patrol would bring them here. I just don't Speaker 1: want this to Speaker 0: if they didn't lie. They don't have the resources. That means that they lied to be here in the first place. Speaker 5: That is what will get them in trouble. Speaker 0: But is Red Cross vetting them? Speaker 3: No. No. One cross ain't even involved anymore. They're Speaker 0: Oh, okay. They were here last couple weeks ago. Yeah. Speaker 3: But their contact's done. Speaker 6: Is there the foundation? Catholic Foundation right here? Speaker 7: Oh, Catholic Community Services? Speaker 6: They give to service to them, but the problem is they don't treat well to them. Speaker 8: Oh, they don't treat them well? Speaker 6: No. I will hear from them. Care today? Speaker 4: It was clear to us at this point that we needed to somehow get inside this facility to explore what was really going on. We kept getting blocked from getting even close to it. YouTuber Nick Shirley even made a run for it before being screamed at, Kerstat badgered and escorted away. Oh my gosh. I just got about attacked out there. Speaker 1: As much as Mexico. Mexico. Speaker 7: Are you even supposed to be here? Speaker 6: What do you mean? Speaker 4: I can't, like, come look. No. Speaker 7: This is private property right now. It's for immigrants. Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah. I'll leave. Speaker 7: Well, then get the out of here, though. Where to call the cops? Speaker 1: No. Okay. No. No. Yeah. How are you doing? Speaker 0: Okay. That's what Speaker 6: What do you mean? Speaker 4: Out of here. What? I didn't do anything wrong. Speaker 7: Get the out of there. Speaker 4: I am. Get the out. What the heck? That's where they're just cussing me out. That was wild. Speaker 2: Standing in front of the Ramada Inn here. Ramada Inn Tucson Airport. Police officer told us to mind her own business. We see migrants, illegal immigrants standing in the rooms and told us not to go in. We're going in anyway. Speaker 4: In order to get inside the facility, we put a hidden camera on a Mexican illegal immigrant whistleblower in order Find out what exactly they were hiding inside this secret Ramada compound, and who or what was behind it, Who is paying for it and why they were so hypervigilant in keeping all of that a secret. We will call the Mexican illegal immigrant Buses take illegal immigrants to the airports, and the plane tickets are purchased by Casasilitas, an organization we reported on last time. This was confirmed in Caesars undercover footage. The illegal immigrants come from Casas Elites on Drexel and come to this Ramada Where they are then flown throughout the country. Farm. The migrants confirmed to Caesar that if the refugees cannot find a sponsor, the NGO, Catholic Community Services of Tucson, will pay for their ticket. So we're here at Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona at 268 West Adams Street. It's really the damn This thing, there's unmarked cars here. It's locked up. There's security cameras. And this Catholic community services, they have All these blankets just everywhere with the Red Cross on the border, working with the Ramada, working with Alitas, this Catholic community services, very Shady stuff is at the heart and soul of this people moving operation. Back inside the Ramada, the migrant confirmed the Mexican And feds deported him twice. Cesar was discussing this because the Biden administration went to Mexico and struck a deal for Mexico actually to start deporting illegals So they don't reach the Texas border. While they were saying I was posing a threat just by walking around the perimeter of the hotel, Cesar confirmed within the facility that the United States was letting people with gang prison tattoos Across the American border. Cesar, while inside the compound walked into a room where there were over a 150 cuts. Speaker 1: They're messed up. Speaker 4: Stuffed with illegal immigrants All into the same room. The migrants told Caesar that these NGOs are all about the money. Cesar also saw a sign for Las Palmas, which is a nursing home contracted to clean the hotel, do the laundry, and do breakfast and lunch again. Many subcontractors, many money grabs that get paid no matter what. One migrant told Caesar he's excited to get into the country so he can make American babies. Outside, I was ready to ask the police and security for comment. Speaker 1: Sir, what is all this? Speaker 3: We're not the fire. Speaker 1: Yes. You do have to tell me. Speaker 4: And finally took off my homeless disguise. Speaker 1: What are you gonna do, sir? Speaker 3: He's got a thing and he's recording. Speaker 4: Yeah. It's called a microphone. Why are you so scared of us filming you, sir? Speaker 3: Because I don't trust you. Speaker 4: I don't put your mom. Yeah. My Name is James O'Keefe. I'm an investigative reporter. And why did you tell me that it's none of my business? Speaker 3: Because this is not your business. Speaker 4: So we're standing here at the Armada, Tucson Airport. I pretended to be a homeless vagrant, talked to the police officer. She told me it was none of my business. Speaker 0: I need you off this property. Speaker 1: What is this? Migrant place? Where is it? Speaker 0: None of your business. Speaker 1: Get going. Speaker 4: This guy told me it's none of my business. Scared to death of anybody filming. He says he's calling the Sheriff, the Pima County sheriff. They're calling the cops. Who's sheriff? So we're we're waiting for the sheriff to show up, and we're we're in trouble. We're in trouble, guys. The sheriff's coming. Speaker 0: Oh, that bad old pussycat. He never give up. Speaker 4: The sheriff, sheriff's here. Here he comes. Pima County sheriff. This woman here says they wanna get us for trespassing. Speaker 1: You want me to be locked up, Speaker 4: like, with My my hand my hand's behind my back. You think I give a shit about that? You don't know what I've been through. This guy get get a shot of him. So he's he's he's testifying against us right here. Here come police. We'd love to be a fly on the wall. Here comes another one. I got backup on backup on backup here. Hi. Good. What's going on? What is your name and badge number? My name's Mark. 879 Speaker 9: Alright. So, anyway, hey. Speaker 1: What's going on here? Speaker 4: I can tell by your tone, you're probably not a fan of the First Amendment. But I think there's, the feds are giving money Do to them, and it's public money, taxpayer money. We think it's a few $100,000,000. So we're doing an investigation, and we have a couple of whistleblower inside the facility, some sources that have Speaker 3: To us. Speaker 4: And I will I will also get a copy of that body cam footage. So anything that you said to that gentleman, we're gonna be publishing. All that conversation will be foible. That's public Information, you can file the public records request. So everything they're saying, you're gonna hear. Okay? That's the that's the great thing about the first amendment. And, we're gonna tell them that we have someone on the inside of that facility filming, and we're gonna try to get their comment. Okay. So we just spoke to the sheriff's office. Speaker 10: I thought the other deputies already kinda explained it. Yeah. So pretty much the people responsible for the property Yeah. Property owners, they're just acting asking that you guys Stay off the property. We got called here. Verdes Irrigant, it just sound like their main gripe was that you guys were on the property. Speaker 3: Were Speaker 4: you speaking to that security guard? Speaker 10: Yeah. We spoke to a security guard, but we Spoke to our Speaker 4: What did he say to you? Speaker 10: Just that you guys were on the property. Speaker 4: Did he say anything else? Speaker 10: Yeah. I mean, we had a whole conversation. I'm not just for the sake of time, I'm all you guys through that whole thing. Speaker 4: Are you wearing a body camera? Speaker 10: Yes. I am. Yeah. Because I'm recording right now. Speaker 4: That'll go on YouTube. We're gonna see Everything that he said with with you and Alright. Speaker 3: Gotcha. Speaker 4: Do you know what this facility is? So Speaker 10: I just wanna catch you guys up on what I'm covering real quick first. So Okay. As the sheriff's department, we got called here. We had contact with the owners. Right? They're asking that you guys be trespassed from this property. So all of that means is that this property line, as long as you guys stay off of Speaker 3: it Do Speaker 4: you know what this place is, sir? Speaker 10: You guys want, I guess, tracking with what Speaker 4: I'm saying? I just need a cover up in I'm not gonna go on that property. Okay. And, there was literally a bus right behind the sheriff, and he's like, I don't know. There's a bus filled with illegal immigrants coming to a hotel. Department. Speaker 10: If you guys were to come back onto the property after we've instructed you guys that you guys are formally trespassed, it would be a criminal offender. Speaker 4: Are you just following orders? It was a bus Phil, illegal immigrants driving right behind him. Sheriff acting like he doesn't know what's going on. I asked him if he's just following orders. Are you following orders? Speaker 10: We would have to arrest That's alright. Speaker 4: Historically, that doesn't work so well. Speaker 10: Guys don't do that for the night. Alright? Speaker 4: What is your name and badge number? Speaker 10: My name is Debbie Carter. V badge number is 9080. Speaker 4: Is that a bus filled with illegal immigrants behind you? Speaker 10: I'm not sure. Speaker 4: You know it's a don't lie to me. Alright. Do you have any other questions about it? Yes. Do you why did you just lie Speaker 1: to me that you're not sure what that Speaker 4: is that a bus filled with illegal immigrants? Speaker 3: Sir, Speaker 10: I'm not On the bus. Speaker 4: Look look behind you. Speaker 10: Alright, guys. So we'll leave it at that for you. Speaker 4: There is a bus filled with illegal immigrants going to a hotel, and you know that that's happening. Unbelievable. Meanwhile, we got some guys from Guinea over here that have been kicked out. We don't know why, but we're trying to give them a camera so they can get inside the place. These Illegal immigrant refugees from Guinea were apparently kicked out of the facility because they left the property. We examined their documents and spoke with them. There has been an outpouring of whistleblowers, border patrol agents, and sources contacting OMG If you have information that we need to see or if you want to wear a camera and infiltrate these institutions, Contact us at tips.okiefmediagroup.com or on our signal phone number here or send us a direct message. Stay tuned for next week when we head straight to the border in the middle of nowhere to go boldly where nobody has gone before And when shit hits the fan. So what we're gonna do, guys, we're gonna drive up to this Novo Muertes place. Our undercover journalist is stuck on the inside. We're gonna Parked cars 50 yards away. Apparently, there's some guys with guns inside this place and shady dudes. Speaker 2: And if you look at Speaker 4: the distance, there's a light in the distance. That car is monitoring So there's some really shady stuff. So we're gonna drive close. He's gonna come out, and if he doesn't come out, then one of us is gonna walk up to this gate and say That we need the individual to come out. Speaker 2: That's it. That's what we're gonna do. Let's go.

Isn't this so We don't can you guys get off the property, please? Is this not a hotel? Can you please exit the property? It's private property. Who's private property? There's no there's no name outside? Can you please have them exit the building? What's the problem? But is this where illegals are being housed with government funding? Can you please get off our property? All of you, please. I'm gonna call the police. Please call them. Okay. Hi. What is this? You need to leave, please. But I need to know what it is. Oh, Casa Alitas. This is Casa, this is an NGO paid for by government money. We're not gonna answer any of your questions. Just can you explain what you do here? No. Why why so much secrecy? You know, that's what the American people wanna understand. What's happening here? Why? So I'll just wait with you here until you leave, but we'll not be answering any questions. Talk You guys do not come into our shelter. Police on the vehicle. Yeah. It needs to be seen directions to a hotel.

@RCamposDuffy - Rachel Campos-Duffy

We returned this morning on a tip that more illegals would be dropped off. What happened next was INSANE. Warning: graphic language. Casa Alitas security accosted our cameraman, threw his phone & left him w/ bloody lip. Then another masked security man threw rocks at our vehicle & nearly hit our cameraman with a brick. What are they hiding? What don’t they want you to know about how our govt spends your money to funnel illegals into the country? Casa Alitas is affiliated with Catholic Charities. Not very Christian behavior. Super shady.

I’ve been following the alarming developments in Houston regarding the Party for Socialism and Liberation's efforts to disrupt ICE operations. They’ve launched a volunteer network to prevent deportations, deploying large groups to document ICE activities. Concerns about the legality of these actions are widespread, and many are calling on local officials and law enforcement to intervene. The situation raises serious questions about safety and the potential for violence, with many expressing frustration over the lack of action from authorities.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Participants discuss organizing a movement to oppose deportations, raids, and detention, inspired by Ventura County's BC Defensa, which has built a 500-strong volunteer network and a six-hour stand-off with ICE at Glass House Farms that prevented many detentions. They emphasize the need for a long-term, multi-tactic strategy and acknowledge that agency resources and partnerships with HPD/ICE under 287(g) expansion pose challenges. They advise on legal rights in Texas, including the automobile exclusion and the need for warrants, and caution against obstructing justice. They report 150 volunteers currently and plan to grow to 500. In Houston, Houston LEADS coordinates a scout program and a rapid-response group to document sightings, provide legal information, and connect with volunteer lawyers. The goal is to mobilize to slow or stop ICE activity in neighborhoods, with ongoing discussions about direct action and risk management.

Speaker 0: Yesterday literally yesterday, I was on a call at Memorial City Mall because there were a report of six ICE agents. Speaker 1: That's where we think the real opportunity is to get organized because our enemy is really organized. They've got all of the media at their fingertips. They've got billions of dollars of our money to hire police and ICE agents. So we have to be organized because our enemy is organized, so we too have to. Every day, they're allocating new money in some sneaky way Speaker 2: to ICE agents or to the police Speaker 1: or whatever. And so this is our goal. We wanna build a long term movement that fights back against deportations, raids, detention, and all other forms of immigrant immigration related terror. We wanna use a variety of tactics that we've developed together over the next many months. And the last thing I wanna say, we're really inspired in particular by a group called BC Defensa or Ventura County Defensa. This is an organization built by some friends of ours in the PSL in the Los Angeles, Ventura County area, an area that has a very, very large immigrant population. And VC Defense has put together a volunteer network of 500 engaged active volunteers, many thousands of if you take the inactive or sometimes active members. And they've done a lot to fight back directly against deportation and detainment. A few about a month ago, they had a six hour standoff with ICE outside of a farm, a a cannabis farm in Ventura County called Glass House Farms, where a giant group Speaker 2: of hundreds Speaker 1: of militarized organizations of border patrol descended upon them with literal, like, military grade. I don't know much about guns, but they look like machine guns, Speaker 2: you know, really, Speaker 1: like, terrifying equipment. And VC defensive bravely stood between them and the workers of the farm. And they weren't able to prevent every deportation because they don't have, you know, the weaponry to fight back in that way, but they prevented a lot of detention and a lot of detainment. So that's what we're inspired by. If you're interested, we encourage you to look up their work, BC Defense. You can find them on social media, and you can see a lot of what they're doing, Speaker 2: which is sort Speaker 1: of what we aspire to do for all of them. Speaker 0: But if we're going to be engaging in this work where we're working to defend our communities, we are just inevitably going to be facing up against law enforcement and ICE agents. And with the expansion of the two eighty seven g program and the known collaboration between HPD and ICE agents, it's really important that you know what your rights are so that you can exercise them as you can to to work yourself around, you know, law enforcement. So if, you know, HPD or ICE agent comes up to your car and is like, we need to search your car, you can say, I'm not going refuse that. You need a warrant. There is one thing to note, though. Here in Texas, we do have something called the automobile exclusion, which is basically if police have a probable cause to search your car, they can do that. But it's better to have them kinda slow them down or have to go through those loops than to just, like, let them search your car. And the only, like, thing that may get you kind of, like, in, like, you know, murky waters or, like, risk of being arrested is if you were, like, obstructing justice. But if we're going to be engaging in this work and we're working to defend our immigrant communities, we are just inevitably going to be facing up against law enforcement and ICE agents. Really? So yeah. I went out. Speaker 2: Have you succeeded at chasing people out of like, these ICE agents out of the neighborhoods yet, or do you not have enough people? Speaker 0: I personally haven't. It's, like, not enough to do, like, Speaker 2: dearest. What the California people are doing? Speaker 0: Yeah. Yeah. Because a lot of the times, like, what's happening is, like, ICTs are showing up, and they're literally just, like, coming in and grabbing my clothing. And so unless you're already, like, a member there or there's, a concentrated amount of people in the area, Like, there it's not enough for us to really defend. However, comma, there has been, like we had about interventions where, like, people have come in, they've started recording, and then, like, law enforcement feels uncomfortable. And then they are more likely maybe to just detain one person instead of, like, three. I think it's still kind of, like, in its, like not infancy, maybe, like, toddler wise area era, but it is growing. Speaker 2: And How many how many people are in it now? Speaker 0: There's a 150. Speaker 2: A 150? How many so you need, like, 500 before you can start, like, really making a difference and getting agents out of the neighborhoods? Speaker 0: It depends. Like, I think, like, the landscape of Houston Yeah. Is so different than Ventura County. Like, Ventura County, like, everyone is, like, mostly immigrant community. Everyone speaks Spanish, things like that. Everyone knows each other. And then we'll do our best to, like, try to find where they are, record them if we see them. Okay. Do anything that we can to, like, sort of, like, slow down the process. So, like Speaker 2: Are you afraid that they're gonna arrest us? Speaker 0: No. Because what you say is that you're a volunteer legal observer. Speaker 2: Volunteer legal observer. Speaker 0: We never say, like, what we're part of. We're I'm a volunteer legal observer, and you're protected, like, under, like well, you're not protected, but it's like Speaker 2: They haven't tried to arrest volunteers? No. Speaker 0: I mean, they'll threaten. Speaker 1: They'll be Speaker 2: like That's Speaker 0: say anything. You know, it will be like, yo. Like, blah blah blah, but they can't because there's no grounds. Speaker 2: They're pretty much kidnapping people. Speaker 0: Yeah. They are. Hold on. Let me let me get you this information. So they're currently doing, like, shifts at different immigration reports all throughout all throughout Houston. So there's four in total. There's one up north, one kind of south, and then two downtown. And they regularly have people stationed up there just to watch. It's literally just to watch to make sure high stages don't show up and do something. In case if something were to happen, we can easily mobilize people to come in and, like, you know, possibly stop something. Speaker 2: But the so the goal is to eventually have enough numbers to where we can really take direct action and stop them. Is that the I mean, HPD is working with them. Speaker 0: Well well, I'll say this. I'm not I'm not technically a part of Houston leads. I certainly would say that, like, the immigrant groups well, volunteer group that we're trying to build, that can be one of our tactics. But, like It's Speaker 2: like the range of tactics. Speaker 0: It's a range of tactics. Yeah. And and, like, I don't I think leads, like, when I attended their training, they kinda have, like, a hands off approach where they're like, you can do whatever you want as a sit as a as a person. If you wanna do that, you can. Yeah. But Yeah. Like, because I think they're Speaker 2: They don't want the liability. Pretty much. Speaker 0: But, you know, like, that's what I'm saying for, like, this next part because we can discuss more actively, like, the sort of Like, going to the tactics that we actually wanna employ. So if people really do want to, like, do D arrests to really defend people from being kidnapped. Yeah. Then, like, that's something that we can, like, fine train to do. Oh. But it is growing. Speaker 2: And the people How are in it now? Speaker 0: There's about 150. 150. Speaker 2: How many so you need, like, 500 before you can start, like, really making a difference? Speaker 0: Do anything that we can to, like, sort of, like, slow down the process. So, like Speaker 2: Are you afraid that they're gonna arrest us? Speaker 0: No. Because what we say is that you're Speaker 2: a volunteer legal observer. Volunteer legal observer. Speaker 0: We never say, like, what we're working. We're I'm a volunteer legal observer, and you're protected, like, hunter. Speaker 3: Have a QR code that you can scan to join a mass volunteer network. In Ventura County, California, our friends have built a volunteer network of 500 active and engaged volunteers that chase ICE out of their neighborhoods, and we wanna do the same. Speaker 2: What do you do? Speaker 4: Hi. So we're here with for Houston LEADS, and this is basically a coalition of different nonprofit organizations and also different individual members as well. And we focus on a a wide range of different social justice issues. Currently, we have been focusing more on, like, the immigration crisis that's been going on, especially in Houston. So what we've been working on is an actual scout program that is like a call to action and a response team where basically it's a large group of us that whenever there is an ice sighting, whenever there is an incident, we, you know, put it in a group chat and like we make sure that someone is present so they can take notes. They can help give, you know, legal information as well. We help with that as well. That's Do have Speaker 2: lawyers in the group that are Speaker 4: So yes. 🚨EXCLUSIVE: HOUSTON LEADS activist Taylor tells Texas Scorecard about “SCOUTS” program, their 100+ MEMBER ICE RESPONSE TEAM. Activists deploy in LARGE NUMBERS to ICE operations to “document” details including OFFICER NAMES. She offers QUESTIONABLE advice.

Video Transcript AI Summary
At the Good Trouble Lives On protest at Houston City Hall, Taylor Crawford of Houston Leads describes a coalition focusing on social justice. They created a 'scout program that is like a call to action and a response team' to document incidents, take notes, gather names of ICE officers, detainees, and witnesses, and provide legal information. The group includes lawyers and aims to break down barriers. The scouts program has had 'over a 100 sign ups,' enabling faster responses to incidents. They aim to document ICE raids: 'take notes, take pictures, get down the names of ICE officers, ... detainees, also witnesses.' They help with family preparedness plans and distribute 'know your rights cards' to inform what to do if questioned by ICE, stressing: 'remain silent' and 'do not answer anything without a lawyer present.' Final message: 'we're all human beings' and to protect the community.

Speaker 0: Hey, everyone. This is Joseph Trimmer with Texas Scorecard. I'm here at the Good Trouble Lives On protest outside of City Hall in Houston, Texas. There's not that many people here yet, so I figured I would talk to some of the people that are here, activists at the event. One of them Speaker 1: Taylor Crawford. Taylor. Speaker 0: What do you do? Speaker 1: Hi. So we're here with for Houston Leads, and this is basically a coalition of different nonprofit organizations and also different individual members as well. And we focus on a a wide range of social justice issues. Currently, we have been focusing more on the immigration crisis that's been going on, especially in Houston. So what we've been working on is an actual scout program that is like a call to action and a response team. Basically, it's a large group of us that whenever there is an eyesighting, whenever there is an incident, we, you know, put it in a group chat and like we make sure that someone is present so they can take notes. They can help give, you know, legal information as well. We help with that as well. That's Do Speaker 0: have been lawyers in the group that are Speaker 1: So yes. We do have part of our coalition do have lawyers that work that we work with and that will help give us legal information. Make sure that we also try to go go into the community and talk with others and make sure we find out what their needs are. So we make sure that we're not, you know, we're breaking down any barriers and we're help and we're helping. So this is you can join as an individual member. We have different working groups that also focus on different things. So, You know, just definitely come out and join us and, you know, help our community. Speaker 0: How, how many people have joined, this new effort? Speaker 1: So for the actual scouts program, we've had over a 100 sign ups. And in the beginning, it was very difficult because we didn't have enough people. So anytime there was an incident, we we we wasn't able to get there as quickly. So now because we're getting the word out and so many more people are showing up, it has grown and we are able to, you know, reach a bigger bigger and more effective area. So yeah. Speaker 0: What you say right now after, you know, now that it's been a little while since you set this up, are, you know, when there's an ICE raid or something like that and immigrants are being targeted, would you say that your group is able to be there and actually go document what's happening? Speaker 1: Yeah. So that's that's literally our whole point. We want to be able to show up to document, take notes, take pictures, get down the names of of the ICE officers, get down the names of anyone who was, you know, maybe detained, also witnesses. And we also help, you know, set up family preparedness plans. That's also another big thing for people who happen to be detained. They might need someone to look after their children. They might need someone to contact their employment. You know, these are all, programs that we're trying to give off to, the communities to just help in any way that we can. Speaker 0: Since, a lot of people are being victimized and there's, you know, all all this that's going on, does your group help immigrants maybe apply for UVs or things like that? Speaker 1: So currently, that's not something that we are focusing on. However, when we do get get them in contact with other, you know, lawyers, any legal entities, you can ask those questions and see if there's anyone that can refer you to someone that can help you with that. But right now, we don't really have a set plan for that. But in the future, that will also be something that we would love to, you know, implement. But right now, we're really just focusing on getting out information, making sure we're giving out, you know, these know your rights cards that give that give out information on here at Star. Let me get a bigger one. So the know your rights cards just basically give you all your let you know your rights if you are to be stopped by an ICE member, if you are to be questioned. And I will just wanna say this, anytime you are questioned or stopped, the main thing is to always say that you would like to remain silent. Do not answer anything without a lawyer present. Do not sign anything. If anyone is asking about the whereabouts of your family members, your friends, always say you do not know. You do not have to answer any questions. But, yes, we are just trying to get out know your rights information so the public is informed because fear is a big tool that they use to, you know, detain people to get information. So just knowing your rights and knowing what to say in those situations is always like the the way to go. Speaker 0: Alright. Any final message that you would have to, for the mayor or for the governor or for the president? And you don't have to if you if you don't want to. Speaker 1: I I would say just my final message just for everyone is, you know, we're all human beings, and we all deserve to live in a safe and happy place. And I feel as though, like, right now in this environment, people are forgetting that. So I think just being kind to each other and protecting each other and protecting our community. Speaker 0: Alright. Well, thank you so much for that information. Have a nice day. Good luck at the protest. Thank

We do have part of our coalition do have lawyers Speaker 0: that

And they weren't able to prevent every deportation because they don't have, you know, the weaponry to fight back in that way, but they prevented a lot of detention and a lot of detain. Homeland Security Investigations tip line. A Houston journalist says he went undercover at a meeting for the party for socialist liberation, which is partnering with Houston Leads, "a coalition of a whole bunch of far left wing NGOs," and "building a mass volunteer network to confront ICE operations in Houston with the stated goal of, chasing ICE agents out of neighborhoods in Houston." He says a video is on X under "Joseph Tremor" with about 100,000 views, and he has tagged local politicians and agencies. He claims they are modeling their actions in Houston after Ventura, California, at a marijuana farm where "their sister or friend organization PSL over there confronted ICE agents and prevented illegal aliens from being, arrested in this pot farm where you guys found undocumented alien children working there." The journalist says the content is alarming and not 100% sure of legality but concerning. A story will publish tomorrow; he contacted the tip line; agent ID 2064.

Speaker 0: Homeland Security Investigations. Tip line. What would you like to report? Speaker 1: Hi. Hey. I'm a journalist with Texas Scorecard up here in Houston, Texas. And Okay. Yesterday, I went undercover at this meeting, for the party for socialist liberation. They're partnering with a group called Houston Leads, which is a coalition of a whole bunch of far left wing NGOs, and they are building a mass volunteer network to confront ICE operations in Houston with the stated goal of, chasing ICE agents out of neighborhoods in Houston. I have the video posted on my ex account. It's, like, eight minutes. Some of the content that they say is alarming to say the least, not a 100% sure, the legality of this, but it's concerning, and they're gonna get somebody arrested, or somebody shot with some of these dumb things that they're telling people actively recruiting here in in Houston, Texas. Speaker 0: And you said there's a video of the, activity on on your ex account. What what's your profile name where we could find it? Speaker 1: It's at Joseph Tremor with an underscore at the end. The video has a 100,000 views, and I've tagged just about every local politician and agency that I can think of. But you do have a tip line, so I figured I would call the line. This is not for views. This is like one of your guys is gonna get hurt. They they outright told me in this video that they are modeling what they're doing here in Houston with what they were doing in Ventura, California at the marijuana farm where, I guess, according to this organizer, their sister or friend organization PSL over there confronted ICE agents and prevented illegal aliens from being, arrested in this pot farm where you guys found undocumented alien children working there. And they say that, like, it's a good thing. So it's freaking me out a little bit. Speaker 0: I just wanna get the the account number name right. At Joseph, j o s h Speaker 1: Mhmm. Trimmer. Speaker 0: Is there a period or is it underscore? Speaker 1: It's at Joseph Trimmer, one word. Joseph is j o s e e p h, Tremor Yep. T as in Tom, r as in Romeo, I as in India, m as in Mike, m as in Mike, e as in echo, r as in Romeo with an underscore at the end. Speaker 0: Okay. Speaker 1: It's like a blue profile picture. It's my pinned post. I'm gonna hold on to it there, and we're publishing a story about this tomorrow. I'll say that I contacted the tip line just to, you know, make sure that everybody knows that this is not just like, oh, I posted this online and tagged them. Like, you have the report, and I hope that it's helpful. And that if something illegal is happening here and and your guys are under threat, this is unacceptable, especially in Texas, especially after the big beautiful bill. So if we could stop that, that would be great. Speaker 0: Okay. Yeah. I'll I'll I'll take a look at that and then and pass it on to our officers in Houston and make them aware of what he told me. Okay? Speaker 1: Okay. Do you have a case number or a report number or anything? Speaker 0: No. Not at this point. I can give you my, agent ID, which is 2064. Speaker 1: Okay. Well, thank you so much. I appreciate that, and I appreciate, your service to our country. And may this be helpful. It's it's concerning, so please please get it into the right hands. Speaker 0: Will do. Alright. Thank for the call. We appreciate it. Speaker 1: Appreciate it. Bye. Speaker 0: Bye.

We do have part of our coalition do have lawyers Speaker 0: that

Speaker 0: It's been ninety days of protest at the ICE facility in Portland where tensions are high, neighborhoods resemble war zones, and the line between order and chaos is razor thin. I'm Katie Davis Court reporting for the Post Millennial, and tonight, I'm going behind the scenes with Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service, the officers who stand as our nation's first line of defense in protecting our federal buildings. Speaker 1: We've had multiple assaults on federal officers ever since early June. Speaker 2: Well, our officers do a great job. Some of them work twenty four seven, especially on these protest activities. Speaker 1: Portland is unbelievable what's going on. These are paid terrorists. Okay? President Trump's border czar is promising increased immigration raids in sanctuary cities, and today, he specifically called out Portland. Seattle. All these sanctuary cities that refuse to work with ICE, where we know public safety threats are being released every day into this country. We're gonna address that. Speaker 0: From lockdown perimeters and guillotines to arson attacks and assaults, I'm diving into the unfiltered reality of keeping the peace in one of America's most volatile hotspots. Speaker 1: Tonight, we just have we have about 30 to 40 protesters outside. It's a pretty normal night. We're also federal protection service. Our mission here is to exactly that is to protect the federal facility, protect the employees, protect visitors. We're doing Speaker 0: And tell us a little bit about the protests. Speaker 1: So the protest, I mean, they're obviously anti the anti immigration enforcement's going on. And they started early June and slowly, you know, slowly started to build, and we had a pretty heavy protest month in June, and then it's kinda stabilized out with, you know, ebbs and flows. Sometimes we'll have busier nights than others. Number one, a lot of first amendment protective activity. And then occasionally, we'll have where it'll not be peaceful, and we'll start out in the legal activity that we have to, you know, force them up. Speaker 0: What are you looking for that isn't peaceful for you guys to go out and start dispersing the crowd? Speaker 1: Well, if we have anything, they would impede operations of the building. So our vehicle our vehicle ramp and gates, you know, if we can't get vehicles in and out. Speaker 0: So why are we speeding out so fast? Speaker 1: To prevent anyone from tailing us or any of the protesters in the area to get close and possibly do some damage. And then, you know, assaults, things like that, you know, when what protest do get a little bit violent. Speaker 0: You guys aren't just dispersing a peaceful crowd? Speaker 1: No. We no. We certainly would not disperse a peaceful crowd. Speaker 2: And we embrace the First Amendment rights, absolutely. But when it becomes violent and it Speaker 0: for four months now, you said. How's officers' morale? Speaker 1: Overall, morale's good. You know, obviously, it does it does wear on morale to, you know, pretty much take constant verbal abuse and rapement. Right? That's part of their first memorandum. You don't have to like what they say, but, you know, that can wear on that can wear on the officers, you know, you know, being called obscene names, racist names. Oh, racism is a big one. And as you know, oftentimes, we'll pick out, you know, minority officers, and they'll get extra attention for verbal abuse. Speaker 3: You get that. I'm not kidding. You get that. Really? Hey, Brett. I'm trying to act out for the White House, though. Speaker 1: And so that does wear on people, but it's I mean, unfortunately, it's part of the job. We don't react to it and just, you know, move on and conduct our mission. Speaker 2: Well, our officers do a great job. Some of them work twenty four seven, especially on these, on these protest activities and on these operations. So I think it's important to hype them up and say, great work. Great job, FPS. Thank you for protecting our facilities and our public and our protesters all equally are protected. So they're doing a great job, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to thank them. What are the hours like here? They are twelve hour shifts, and but we're twenty four seven. Yeah. We're here twenty four seven. They just keep going. Yes. I wouldn't say they're retired. They're motivated, but they keep going. This is their job. They like doing it. Speaker 1: I mean, all our men and women, they're outstanding, and they do their job. And and DI's personnel as well. I mean, they're here with us. Speaker 2: Dedicated. And Speaker 1: dedicated professionals. And, again, we, you know, we also support, you know, the protesters exercise their first member rights. I mean, it goes both ways. But we just we keep driving on. It's our mission, and we'll keep doing it as long as we Speaker 3: have to. Speaker 0: So tell us a little about the guillotine. Speaker 1: Well, the guillotine was abandoned property from Monday night. It was rolled out as part of the protest, and then after the crowd left, it was left in the middle of the street. So we removed it and and brought it in until the rightful owner comes to claim it. Speaker 3: Door, Pat. You close the door. So Speaker 0: how long have you been working here? Speaker 2: So I've been with FPS for over four years, but with the federal government for over twenty. Speaker 0: And what made you become attracted to this job? Speaker 2: The mission. Believe in the mission. I believe in everything that FPS does. I definitely believe in, being a public servant, so absolutely. I'm here to serve the public. Speaker 0: And would you recommend this job? I absolutely would. Speaker 2: It is very rewarding. And for anyone that wants to be in public service and give back, FPS is the place to be. Speaker 0: And what kind of talent are you trying Speaker 2: to attract? Somebody that's really interested in protecting the rights of people, protecting law and order, and that are really passionate about law enforcement. We are going up to the roof so that you can see the vantage point that a lot of our officers have for the protesters. Speaker 0: And the roof, what do they do on the roof? Speaker 1: Overwatch. Okay. Speaker 0: What kind of crimes have you witnessed? Speaker 1: Oh, we've had multiple assaults on federal officers ever since early June. We've had a lot of damage on the building, not so much damage done recently, but at the early days in June, we had quite quite a bit of damage, and that's why we put up all the plywood all over the windows, doors. We did have in early June, we did have the attempted breach on the building where they actually tried to break in and smashed doors open. Generally, it's a lot of, you know, just failure to obey. You know, we'll they'll come on to federal property, and we'll ask multiple times to use our LRAD or verbal warnings asking people to park federal property. And then after numerous warnings, if they don't, that's when we'll address it, and that's when, you know, we'll take a force connection. Speaker 0: And are these protesters out here every night? Speaker 1: We've had since June, every single night, we've had protesters. Speaker 3: Quit your job. Quit your job. Quit your job. Speaker 0: And how can people get involved with FBS? We would love Speaker 2: for people to join our agency. So you just go to our website, and you can definitely look how to become an FBS officer. Speaker 0: And that's a wrap on our time with the Federal Protective Service. Tonight, we witnessed dedicated officers standing firm in the face of chaos, risking their lives to protect this federal property, and putting it all on the line while navigating an unpredictable and volatile situation. As the protests show no signs of stopping with demonstrators vowing to continue their stand, this story is far from over. So right now, we are grateful for the bravery we've seen and mindful of the challenges still ahead.

Video Transcript AI Summary
The exchange centers on a confrontation in a public/Louisiana parish building during a first amendment audit conducted by Justin (Speaker 0). Justin explains that he entered a public area and was subjected to aggressive behavior from a man who grabbed his belongings, attempted a headlock, and threw Justin’s phone. Justin asserts that this occurred in front of a deputy, who did not intervene. He claims the man (Ellis Booth) took his phone, assaulted him, and tossed it across the parking lot, while the deputy “did nothing.” Justin emphasizes that he was having a polite conversation when Booth acted aggressively, grabbed his property, and threw his phone multiple times. He argues that if he had done any of these actions, he would be in cuffs, and he questions why Booth has not been arrested. He challenges the deputy’s handling of the incident, insisting that the deputy witnessed the events and should have acted. He also claims the deputy’s inaction contradicts the duty to protect the public and enforce the law, noting he has a large social media following and intends to publicize what he perceives as misconduct. The dialogue includes several attempts to obtain formal statements and to follow proper procedure. Justin asks for a statement from the deputy who witnessed the incident, and for access to video footage (body cam) and other evidence. He asserts that the deputy’s eyewitness account should be sufficient to pursue charges, and he questions why extra steps or warrants are being pursued if the deputy clearly witnessed the events. He also mentions he has filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the body cam footage. Speaker 4, Detective Adams of the Cattle Parish Sheriff’s Office, enters the conversation and tries to mediate. He explains that a new process is necessary: a written statement and a signed affidavit from Justin before any warrants or arrests can proceed, since there is no direct on-site arrest of Booth by the acting officer. Detective Adams clarifies that if a judge signs a warrant based on the deputy’s statements and Justin’s signed affidavit, Booth could be arrested. He notes that the deputy did not witness the exact moment of the phone being thrown in Justin’s hands, but did witness the assault and the destruction of property. He emphasizes following chain-of-command and needing a judge’s warrant to proceed. The discussion includes comparisons of how officers would be treated if the roles were reversed. Justin argues that the officer’s standards should be the same regardless of whether the person is a private citizen or a Homeland Security employee. Detective Adams explains that the Homeland Security director (Beeson) was not present to arrest on-site and that Booth’s arrest is tied to the body camera and the deputy’s written report. The exchange touches on past incidents, including a controversial encounter involving a black officer and other officers, which Detective Adams says he plans to address separately with superiors. Towards the end, it is confirmed that Booth was arrested previously (yesterday) for simple battery and criminal damage to private property, but the battery charge was kept separate from the damage charge after Justin notes his phone’s condition. Booth bonded out at $1,255 cash and would have a court date set by the district attorney. The district attorney asks Justin to forward any video and his written statement. Detective Adams states he will present the materials to a judge, and if a warrant is signed, Booth will be arrested. Beeson is identified as the online security director who previously attended the incident, and there is a discussion about obtaining more video and verifying all witnesses’ statements. In sum, the transcript captures Justin’s allegation of police inaction during a visible assault and property destruction, the procedural requirement for statements and affidavits to pursue warrants, and the subsequent administrative steps that led to Booth’s prior arrest and ongoing cooperation with the district attorney’s office.

Speaker 0: See? Speaker 1: This is a secure building outside. Speaker 0: It's not, sir. Outside. See? This is what Speaker 1: I do not touch me. Speaker 0: Do not touch me. Speaker 1: Did you ask to come in this building? Speaker 0: I don't have Speaker 1: to. It's a public area. A secure building. Speaker 0: She asked me a question, and I was answering her. We didn't Speaker 1: know what Speaker 0: This is what I was talking about. Get out of my face. Speaker 2: You just lost it. Speaker 0: Get out of Speaker 1: face. Right now. Speaker 0: Dude, are you gonna no. You you just saw him assault me and break my stuff and take my stuff and throw it? You need to take care of this, deputy. No. I I follow the law. He doesn't. Speaker 1: I follow the law. My Speaker 0: attention. My whole job is to follow the law. I know what I'm doing. Speaker 1: Alright. My my job is Speaker 0: Deputy, are what's your name, sir? Deputy. Please please deescalate him. Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna Speaker 0: Get him out of my face now. Speaker 1: What did you Speaker 0: I had I had I had every right to knock the shit out of you back there. Speaker 1: You had all rights? Yeah. Speaker 0: You you tried to put me in a headlock. You took my stuff. What did Dude, I was having a polite conversation. Speaker 1: Office. That is a fair Speaker 0: Deescalate him. He is losing his shit. He's about to lose his job. I guarantee you. Speaker 1: I I knew Speaker 0: Enjoy your last week here, bro. Speaker 1: When you stay in my office, that is just Speaker 0: Enjoy your last week here. Good. I get cops fired all the time because good cops love me and bad cops hate me. Deputy, need to speak with you, sir, please. This is a multiple purpose building, and those ladies invited me in. We're having a very nice conversation. My door. Yes, sir. Yes, buddy. You're right. Brother, I promise there was no he's the only person starting anything with me all day. If you wanna see any video, I'll show it to you in a heartbeat. Speaker 3: And then Speaker 0: he just came detective. And took my stuff. You saw it, dude. I'm gonna let them know what happened. He did the same thing inside before I came out. He did it twice. You need to like, if I did that to him, where would I be right now? In cuffs in the back of your car. So why isn't he? He's Why isn't he? Speaker 1: He's inside. Speaker 2: No. He needs Speaker 1: to be Speaker 0: in the cuffs in the back Speaker 4: of your car. Speaker 0: I understand that. So this isn't fair treatment. That's why I've no. That's why I've got my detectives over here. What chief detective What would you have done if I had done that to him? Be be honest. He grabbed your phone. That was it. And threw your phone. That was it. No. He put me in a headlock inside also. It's on camera. Well, grabbing my phone and throwing it, it's assault and battery. And and But did he hit you with it? And theft. No. Touching me at all, brother. Assault is just I don't even have to touch you. I'd have to threaten you with being touched, and that's assault. When you touch me, it's battery. And then you can add on, he took my phone from me and threw it. Right. Now it's destruction of property, the theft, you name it. If I did any of those to you right now, what would happen to me? I mean. Be honest. Just be honest. It's it's I would go to jail. Speaker 4: I've got Speaker 0: them coming over here. Dude, just do your job. Arrest him like you fucking would me. Alright. Right now, I'm gonna collect the statement from you. Dude, I'm not even gonna talk to you if you're not gonna do what you what's right. If you're not gonna do what's right, I'm not talking to you. Because if you're just gonna try to get my information and then go tell him, no. Call. I have to grab a statement from you of what happened. You don't have to I I did not I don't have to say anything. Okay. You want charges pressed? You saw it. Yes. I know. Okay. So for what you saw in your presence, act on it. You don't need a statement to what you saw with your own eyes. I did not see him physically hit you. You saw him take the phone. Okay. But there's there's Speaker 4: a procedure. Speaker 0: Do what with what you saw. Not what you didn't see. What you saw. Okay. But there's a procedure I have to follow. You wouldn't have followed it. If there's other way around, I'd be in cuffs right now. I still have to get a statement from I wouldn't be in cuffs. If you if you just Bro, just answer the question. Would I be in cuffs? Just answer it. At this point, no. Because Speaker 1: I wouldn't. See what happened Speaker 0: to took his phone and threw it across the parking lot, you no problem. I'll get a statement. I mean Do not tell me that. That's a lie. I have to give this you're not a good cop. You're a bad cop. Okay. You're a bad person, dude. You need to rethink what you're doing. Speaker 1: Okay. I'm post certified. Speaker 0: I'm older. No. You don't. You no. I'm doing my You take his side over the public. Speaker 1: No. I'm trying trying to Speaker 0: You're supposed to protect the public, not Homeland Security. Speaker 1: I am. Speaker 0: You are You're not protecting dude, you just saw a crime and you're doing nothing about it. And you're about to be all over the Internet doing nothing about it. I have a lot of subscribers. A lot. And they're all gonna see you doing nothing about it. Okay. And you're probably gonna lose your job too. I'm gonna make Speaker 2: sure you lose your job too. How about that? Okay. Speaker 0: Go in there and arrest him and do your do the right job. That's why I have my chief detective Why can't you? Are you a cop? I thought you knew what you were doing. You do or don't know what you're doing? I do know what you're doing. Well, then go arrest him. Why do you need someone else? Why do you need anybody else? You just saw it in front of your own eyes. He didn't see it with his own eyes. You did. So go do something, and then I'll talk to you. I don't trust y'all. I don't trust y'all. Who are you? Who are you? I'm the chief detective. I'm only gonna talk to you if you're gonna do the right thing. Speaker 5: Sure. Well, one of your guys just came in. We were talking to him. He come got a complaint form. We were trying to get all that for him. Speaker 0: Alright. So I was just trying to make a public record request. I was told to go do that in that in this building by, like, half a dozen people. I walk in there. The lady at the front desk says, you'll need to do that in the Homeland Security office down at the right. So I go down the hallway on the right, look inside the office, no one's in there, come back out. The ladies are like, hey, what are you doing with the camera? I'm just explaining, have you ever heard of a first name in audit? Speaker 5: Sure. Yes. Speaker 0: That's literally what I'm doing. Yeah. He comes in there, puts me in a headlock, takes my phone out of my out of my hand, throws it on the ground. I have to wrestle my phone out of his hand, then he follows me outside right in front of your deputy, takes my phone out of my hand again, and throws it across the parking lot. And guess what your deputy did? Nothing. Speaker 5: Okay. Let me go over and get some paperwork. Let me go over there. Speaker 0: Thank you. Speaker 5: Steve, where where do you feel comfortable talking to giving me a statement? Speaker 0: So I'm not gonna I'm not gonna talk unless so that deputy with his own eyes witnessed more than enough to arrest him. If you're gonna do the right thing, I'll come talk to you and tell you everything that happened. I'll show you videos. Speaker 5: That's what Speaker 0: we're doing. If you're not doing well If if you will give it to me, I would like to have your footage for the evidence. And I will. But but before I do anything, because I've been through this road before and I know how cops work, is you're gonna get all the information you can out of me and then tell me to get fucked. No. No. That's not Well and so with before I even make a statement or even show you a video with what that deputy saw with his own eyes is more than enough. Speaker 5: To him too. Speaker 0: So if if you do the right thing with what he saw alone, then we'll talk. Speaker 5: Yeah. Let me go talk to you. Speaker 0: Thank you. And can I get your name, sir? Speaker 5: So Duane Lester. Speaker 0: I'm Justin. Speaker 5: Okay. We're trying to make this right that he's not way superior. He's not don't Speaker 0: work for break the law, though. Speaker 1: I agree. Agree. Speaker 0: And he needs to go to jail just like I would. Speaker 5: And I'm not I'm not saying that that ain't gonna happen. I'm just letting you know that he don't work for us. Speaker 0: I understand that. And and, actually, that makes it better because if he did work for you, you would just give him he wouldn't he definitely wouldn't go to jail, but he's not even your department. So you can act on it. Speaker 5: Yeah. I'm gonna talk to the deputy and see what he's got on. Maybe he's got a body cam. Can watch or something. Speaker 0: I mean, his own I would you call him a liar or because he saw it with his own eyes, he could just tell you. He saw Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. I'm just asking. Speaker 0: He saw him do that Speaker 2: to me. Speaker 5: That my damn show to me so I could see it. Speaker 0: Like, if I if I if I ran up and grabbed your phone out of your pocket and threw it, what happens to me? Speaker 5: Sure. I I I Speaker 0: And that's only one of, like, 10 things that happened. Yeah. But that just that alone, what would happen? Speaker 5: Well, I mean, at at a minimum, it could be he took your phone. And Speaker 0: threw it. Yeah. No. What if I did that to you? What would happen to me? Speaker 1: You probably got jailed. Speaker 5: Thank you. Speaker 0: I mean, Speaker 5: likely, it's according to the yeah. That's what saying. I'm only Speaker 0: Well, was this whole story. It's a lot worse than that, but that alone would take him take me to jail. So let's do it to him. Speaker 4: Well, Speaker 0: he needs to Speaker 5: see what's happening here. Speaker 0: Do you believe that an a law officer has a higher standard or a lower standard that they need to operate on? You think that they should Speaker 5: I I 100% agree that Speaker 0: Higher standard? Standard. Okay. So then He's Speaker 5: not a law officer. So Speaker 0: Alright. Well, then even better then take him, dude. Who's asking? Speaker 4: Detective Adams with the Kettleman Parish Sheriff's Office. Speaker 0: Oh, the scumbags. Yeah. What's going on, dude? Speaker 4: Okay. Let me go ahead and stop you right there, mister McKenney. I'm trying to work this case, but I'm not gonna tolerate you insulting me. I'm not gonna insult you. Speaker 0: Unless you are Speaker 4: tolerate any other board. Hey, dude. Trying to help. Speaker 2: You're not, though. If you that line Hey. Let's let's stop. Okay? Did you arrest Ellis Booth yesterday? Speaker 4: That's the reason for my call. I need a statement from you. Speaker 2: No. You don't. And that's why I'm calling you names. That's why I'm calling you names, dude. You witnessed several Speaker 3: crimes. Speaker 4: No. I did not. Speaker 2: Your officer did. Your officer did. Speaker 4: I have a statement from that officer. Speaker 0: That's all Speaker 1: you need. He witnessed. Speaker 2: If you arrest him, I'll cooperate. Just like I told you yesterday, Until you do the right thing, I don't trust you. And I have a very good reason to not trust you because you didn't do anything when the officer saw it with his own eyes. Do the right thing, then I'll cooperate. Until then, I don't trust you for a very good reason. Speaker 4: So are you gonna write a statement and sign an affidavit Speaker 2: or Not unless you do the right thing because what I'm gonna do actually is I've already spoken to my lawyer, and your department's about to be on the hook, dude. You guys, that's dereliction of duty. That's not honoring your oath. You're gonna be named in the lawsuit. I'm not fucking around. Do the right thing. Speaker 4: I'm not either. Speaker 0: You don't you don't Speaker 2: need me. You don't need me to make the arrest. You don't need me. You need what your officer saw and the body cam and everything. Your officer's statement is more than enough to make the arrest. You decided not to when you had more than enough. Whenever you and him both admitted, had he seen me do the same thing, I'd already be in jail. So why isn't he? Why isn't he? Speaker 4: My first conversation with you. I have not talked to you. I haven't Speaker 2: seen you. Well, the head okay. There was a dude yesterday that said he was the head detective. And so I said, will you please go do the right thing? If you're admitting that if I did that to anyone here, I'd be in jail. Why isn't he? And they said, well, he's Homeland Security. Like, that makes him immune from the law. And I said, I'll make a statement. I will fully cooperate with you guys if you do the right thing, but I don't trust that you will. I know how you work. You want all my information. That way, you can just tell me to off and nothing happens. I've seen this go I've seen this a 100 times. If I can see that you actually want to do the right thing, then I'll cooperate. But there's no point in me cooperating with a bunch of crooks. I even heard you guys talking yesterday about what you could charge me with. Why would you why was that even a fucking conversation? Speaker 4: I don't know. I was not there. I didn't hear that conversation. Speaker 2: So why are you the one talking to me? Why are you the one calling me Speaker 3: right now then? You weren't Speaker 2: even there, dude. This is what I'm talking about. Speaker 4: Are you gonna let me speak for a minute? Speaker 2: Yeah, man. Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Go ahead. Speaker 4: Okay. The officer that was there yesterday left today going on vacation for a scheduled event. It wasn't because of this. The sheriff is gone. It's LSA conference is what it is. Okay? With that said, I've been left to try to sort this out. I've got a statement from mister Boo saying you attacked him. That's why I need a statement from you telling your side of what happened. The way that I do this is I present this to a judge, and if a judge signs a warrant for, number one, simple battery on you. Number two, destruction of your private property by throwing the phone across the parking lot as the deputy stated in his written statement, his report, then I will if the judge signs the warrant, I will arrest mister Booth. There is no bearing. I don't care if he's on the security or Speaker 3: Dude, your entire department. Speaker 4: Nothing to do with me. Speaker 2: You have enough to arrest him on what your witness on what your officer witnessed. What happened before that is quite frankly irrelevant even though he attacked me. And if you got statements from the two ladies inside, unless they're lying, which I don't they don't seem like the type, they'll vouch that he attacked me. Speaker 4: So when you say the two ladies in the office, that's the little brick building across the road by the White church or is that the court building? Which so I'll know which two ladies to talk to. Speaker 3: So you're I do not Speaker 4: have statements from them is what I'm saying. Speaker 3: What? So this is your department, dude. This is your department. How did they not get statements from them yesterday? So, dude, that's embarrassing. But it's Speaker 2: the listen. I'm gonna talk I'm gonna tell you what happened, but I'm not I'm I just don't trust you guys. Speaker 4: That's not I want it that day. I don't. Can earn the trust I will, but I don't I deal with that. I need you to tell me what happened or either give me something in writing Speaker 0: This is that Speaker 4: I can receive. Speaker 2: I I'll tell you what happened. I was there doing Speaker 3: a first amendment audit. Have you ever heard of that, sir? Speaker 4: I'm very familiar with Speaker 3: that. Speaker 4: Okay. And how it works. Speaker 0: But I Speaker 3: haven't even gotten to a building yet. And he is picking a fight with me where I'm having to back up away from him. He's he's a completely unhinged insane person. And I'm and I'm like, look, dude. Speaker 4: I agree with that. Speaker 3: You agree? Okay. Thank you. Speaker 4: I agree with that. Speaker 3: Yeah. He really is. So I walk in the front office. The lady in the front has nothing to do with him, but Speaker 2: I I don't know that at Speaker 3: the time. I asked her about it, and she says, yeah. His office is the last office down there on the right. Go down there and see if he's in there. So I walked down the public hallway, go to his door. It's wide open. I don't step even my toes inside his doorway. I'm outside of his door frame the entire time. I'm looking inside his Speaker 4: within your right's doing that. Speaker 3: Thank you for understanding that. What do you think your deputy should've done in that moment when he sees this man grab my stuff try to grab me, then grab my stuff, and throw it? Speaker 4: They should have arrested him for a simple battery and a criminal name, mister Frank. Speaker 3: Alright. Well, he didn't even think about it. Speaker 4: With that said, the reason that I called you was see if I could do the right thing on this, but I've already told you that I need a written statement a signed affidavit before I can Speaker 3: go further. No. You don't. With what your your deputy saw with his own eyes is enough to do something. You admitted just a second ago, what would what what should that have deputy have done? You said arrested him. Okay. Go for it, bro. So don't don't go back on your word. Speaker 4: What I have. Speaker 3: The brother, you just told me ten seconds ago, and I'm recording this, that he should have arrested him. Speaker 4: I am not afraid of your attorney. I'm not afraid of being recorded. Recorded. Speaker 3: I can see that. Speaker 4: I'm trying to tell you I will do my job, but I've gotta have something to do Speaker 3: it with you. You don't, dude. Speaker 4: I will present listen just a second. Let me tell you what I'm gonna do. I will present what I have to a judge. And if a judge says he will sign a warrant on this, I'll arrest mister Booth. I do not have a problem with that. But a little bit of cooperation and less sarcasm on your part would go a long way with me. Speaker 3: It's not sarcasm, dude. I'm I don't trust you. That's not I'm not being sarcastic. Speaker 4: Word out of your mouth whenever you answer me on the phone and tell I tell you I identify myself as a detective with the Cattles Parish Sheriff's Office and the next word out of your mouth is scumbag Yeah. That's pretty derogatory to me. I make offense to that. Speaker 3: Okay. I don't consider myself Speaker 4: a scumbag. I consider myself a Speaker 3: fair Mhmm. Speaker 4: I try to do my job to the best of my ability. Did we not do exactly what we may have should have done yesterday? I can't do anything about yesterday. I'm trying to make it Speaker 3: right yesterday. You're still not. And You're you're Speaker 4: bent on trying to insult me and this Speaker 3: Well, listen. When you first called no. Speaker 4: But I did. Speaker 3: When you first called, I thought you were the detective I spoke with yesterday. Okay? I don't I didn't okay? And he is a scumbag, and I'll call that to him all day long. Okay? So that's why I called you that. I thought you were him. So I apologize for calling your name. I've never even met you. But your department is still a stumbag. Speaker 4: Seen me. I didn't see you yesterday. All of this was over by Speaker 0: the time I got Speaker 3: involved. But but guess what? You admitted just a minute ago that you wouldn't need a warrant to arrest him and that your officer should have done that yesterday. Speaker 4: I stand by that. He should have arrested mister Booth yesterday. Speaker 3: So you don't need a warrant, and you wouldn't have needed a warrant to arrest me. So why are we doing this? Just go get him, dude. Do your job, please. I'm begging you. Speaker 4: I told you. I'm gonna present what I've got to Speaker 3: a judge, and Speaker 0: it's You're doing Speaker 4: sign on my side. Speaker 3: You okay. Why are you treating him special like this? Be real. You wouldn't do this to if this was me, you wouldn't be doing this. You would have already got me. Speaker 4: I don't think we can get any further. We're not gonna agree on that. Speaker 3: So respectfully, you wouldn't need a warrant to arrest me. Right? If I had done that to anyone there, you would not be Speaker 4: I saw what happened. Speaker 3: Okay. Speaker 4: I did not see it happen. Speaker 3: Well, your officer did. And let's just say your officer came to you and said, he saw me do this. You wouldn't need a warrant to arrest me. So why do you why are you going through all these extra hoops and steps for mister Booth? Speaker 4: Because I did not see it. The officer saw it. Speaker 3: Okay. Please stop deflecting. Sir. Sir. You're literally Speaker 4: contrary to what you're saying. Speaker 3: You are deflecting. It's not contrary. You're deflecting. It's not contrary to what the officer said. And as I just said, what you you would not need a warrant to arrest me. You admit that the officer would have that you could arrest me for any of this. You are definitely 100% going through extra steps for him that you wouldn't do for me or anyone else. Speaker 4: No. I'm not. Speaker 3: You okay. You're so you would do the same thing. So if if your officer came and told you that he saw me grab someone's phone and throw it, you'd say, well, we we better get a warrant first. Speaker 4: No. And he should have arrested me on the spot. Speaker 3: Okay. That no. Answer the question. Don't deflect to a different question. The question is, if that same officer came to you and said that he saw me grab mister Booth's phone and throw it, he saw it. It's on camera, on his body cam. He he's the witness. Do you are you gonna go get a warrant for me, or you're just gonna arrest me? Speaker 4: My next question to that officer would be why don't you why didn't you arrest him? I do not have a problem arresting him. If I have some enough probable cause and a signed affidavit and a voluntary statement from you. Speaker 3: Well, you just got a statement. Speaker 4: Signature on a warrant. Speaker 3: You just got a statement from me, sir. I just I just told you everything. Speaker 4: Well, if you'll sign a voluntary statement and an affidavit at this point, I don't have a complaint in the computer from you. Speaker 3: You don't need a complaint. You're dude, why can't you get this? Your officer witnessed three crimes. So unless you don't believe unless he is he on the Brady list or something? Like, why don't you believe what he says? Go do it. Why are you why is it why are you gonna take my word over your own officers? Speaker 4: I'm gonna call my boss who is the sheriff. And if he tells me to proceed with this Speaker 3: Gotcha. Idea, Speaker 4: I'll do what I need to do. Speaker 3: Extra steps. Speaker 4: And if not, then Speaker 3: Extra steps. Speaker 4: I'm follow my chain of command. Speaker 3: No, dude. Just do the right thing. Why do you why are you putting these extra steps on for Booth that you would not do for anyone else? You're proving my point. Speaker 4: It's not just for Booth. Speaker 0: It is. Speaker 3: Way we do things No. It's not, dude. I do this for a living. I know how you work. I know when you the only time you ever go through all these hoops is whenever it's one of your own. I see I see this is literally what I do twenty four seven. I I know you guys better than you know yourselves. The only time you do these freaking extra steps and hoops and special treatment is when it's one of your own. If it was some some drug addict down the street, you wouldn't ask anybody. Speaker 4: Yes, sir. Called to let you know that been arrested and booked into the jail on 07/2825 at 01:09. Speaker 0: Okay. So you alright. Thank you so much, dude. Hold on one second. And so you arrested him yesterday. Did you go what was the charges? Speaker 4: Charge of simple battery. I did simple battery and criminal damage to private property, but you told me your phone was not damaged. So I took that charge off of the affidavit. Speaker 0: Yeah. Man, my OtterBox I swear by the OtterBox now. This thing is barely scratched. Doubt. Yeah. Speaker 4: I don't leave out of the store without one. It's just they pay for themselves. Speaker 0: I was like, there's no way it's not shattered, but it didn't even have a scratch. So okay. So he was arrested for battery. Did he bond out or anything? Speaker 4: He he did bond out. Yes. It was 1,255 cash bond, so he's bonded out probably back at work today. I told you I was gonna do my job. That's what I did. It's in the district attorney's hands now. But he'll be issued a court date, and I don't know that date or I will give it to you, but I can notify you. You should get a letter from the DA. I actually spoke to the district attorney today, and, he asked that you forward me any video that you had and a written statement, you know, stating your side of what happened. Speaker 1: Did you get Speaker 4: Outside the office. Speaker 0: Okay. I sent an email with a statement. Did you get that? And can I make a Freedom of Information Act request? Sure. I wanted the body cam. Okay. Actually, what's the officer's name that witnessed all this? Speaker 4: William Beeson. Speaker 0: Is he getting any kind of any kind of reprimand or anything? Speaker 4: I have not discussed it with his cap his patrol captain, but I will. Speaker 0: Would I be able to get the body cam for the arrest? Speaker 4: No. He he walked into the office. Here I I don't know if you know his role and all this. He is the online security director for the parish. He walks in and out of dispatch periodically. And when he walked in dispatch, I had already delivered the warrants down there, and he was out of town as a reason. He wasn't arrested on-site. But whenever he came back to town, he was to report to his supervisor, which is the parish police jury secretary, and he was going to be booked in then. He he didn't go to her office. He went straight to dispatch, and that's whenever they told him, hey. We have a warrant for your arrest, and they booked him in. That's where that went. Just kinda got off to a bad start. Like I told you, I'm an open book. I have nothing to hide. I believe in doing my job, and I believe in justice. So you know? Speaker 0: Thank you, man. Yeah. I I I honestly did not expect anything to happen, especially after your chief investigator didn't do anything. Speaker 4: And I I'm not trying to jump in their defense. There's more here that don't, and I'm I'm gonna ask you about it before we don't know. But him being the Homeland Safety Director, the the officer base and that was on the scene, I understand his part. He didn't know if he actually had the power to arrest him since he was a state employee over Homeland Security. And and I'm gonna support him in that decision because he just didn't know. Now had it been a life and death situation, you know, surely he would have done something, but I can get the names. But he's probably been out of the academy less than two years. Speaker 0: Then well, shows his mindset, and he doesn't have a good sense of morality if his default is I can't do anything because he's the government. Then you don't need to be an officer, honestly. Speaker 4: Let me ask you something. Did you when you and when you and mister Booger were standing on the corner by the bank, or on the corner by the courthouse and the black officer was there, did you have that recorded as well, the conversation between him and the black officer? Speaker 0: Oh, I know what you're talking about. And I heard about this through my friends, but I don't think I was there. Speaker 4: Okay. I I have a problem there. Speaker 0: And I Speaker 4: and if you have that on video, I would love if you could send that to me because I'm not happy with that situation there at all. And I have a report on that in my file from that officer, what he said to him, and that that's just not cool. Speaker 0: I mean yeah. That Speaker 4: We should be way past that. And here's my deal with that. I'm I'm being 100% transparent with you. If that guy got this rattled just from you walking into a public lobby and videoing and asking a few questions, is that who you really want over your homeland security in case of an emergency? Come on. Speaker 0: That's a really good question. Yep. Exactly. I Speaker 4: mean and and I if I get the opportunity, I plan on asking that question to his superiors. In fact, I've already met with the secretary treasurer and gave her a copy of this. If you were in a supervisory position, you're trained. You've got to overcome those obstacles and just do better, be better, and handle things differently. And if he can't handle this situation no better than he handled it, god help us if we have a tornado come through the middle of our parish. Alright. Like I said, I have nothing to hide off or anyway I can as long as I'm allowed to. If they shut me down, say, hey. No more correspondence. But I'll give you what I've got until then, till they tell me different. And so far, I thought the sheriff is actually at an LSA conference in Florida out of state right now. And I to him last night, and he said, absolutely. Call him back, you know, as soon as you get a minute. Let him know that Booth has been arrested, and we're gonna cooperate fully. So that's what we're Speaker 3: doing. Awesome.
