The Governor of WI (D) vetoed a bill banning males from female school sports teams, citing it as "anti-LGBTQ." Some believe this decision prioritizes ideology over girls' and women's rights, accusing Democrats of trying to diminish women's progress. There is concern that Democrat women are allowing this regression.

BREAKING: The Governor of WI (D) just VETOED a bill that would protect girls and ban males from female school sports teams. He claimed the bill is "anti-LGBTQ." @GovEvers doesn’t care about our girls or women’s rights … all he cares about is the Leftist Democrat ideology. Like all Democrats, they want to crush and diminish women. They are attempting to take back every milestone women have made over the decades. What’s even sadder, the Leftist Democrat women are letting them put us back in chains. Thoughts? https://t.co/4JUp8GnXCt

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders today told Joe Biden Arkansas will “not comply” with his illegal and perverse transitioning of Title IX that allows men to be considered women. Sanders signed an Executive Order protecting women’s sports from men. Well done! https://t.co/H2mokDyAQJ

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker criticizes President Biden's Title IX rule, stating it erases the differences between men and women. Arkansas has laws protecting sex-segregated facilities and women's sports. The speaker pledges to uphold these laws and resist Biden's policies. They highlight young women fighting against gender inclusion in sports, like 5 girls in West Virginia and swimmer Riley Gaines. The speaker calls for courage in leadership to support women's rights.

Speaker 0: I can't think of anything more offensive or dismissive of the very real, very scientific traits that all women share and that no man does. I find myself asking, where are all the so called feminists? Women fought for so long to have equal access to sports and higher education. Are we really going to throw that all away in the name of political correctness? Walk down any street in Arkansas, from Little Rock to Mountain Home, and ask someone the difference between a man and a woman. You will probably get a pretty straightforward answer. But apparently, our leaders in Washington can't tell the difference anymore. It would be laughable if it weren't so threatening. That's because the rule doesn't change just language on a paper. It could have a very real impact on Arkansas colleges and universities. If Biden gets his way, female college students will shower and change next to male college students. Referring to someone using biologically correct pronouns will get you hauled in front of a disciplinary board for harassment, and scholarships previously reserved for women will now be open to anyone claiming to be a woman. My message to Joe Biden and the federal government is that we will not comply. Thanks to the hard work of our legislators, Arkansas already has several common sense laws on the books that directly contradict president Biden's new title 9 rule. Those include act 317, ensuring sex segregated bathrooms and sleeping quarters, the fairness in women's sports act, which keeps men out of women's sports, and the given name act, which protects educators' right to free speech when addressing a student. That's the law in Arkansas, and we will enforce it. In a moment, I'll sign an executive order, reiterating our laws and instructing our education institutions and the Arkansas Department of Education to follow them. And if president Biden threatens our state with loss of educational funding because we refuse to go along with his election year pandering, Arkansas will take the federal government to court. That's because this issue goes far beyond a single locker room or a missed scholarship. The truth is important. Biology is important. The differences between men and women are important. Title 9 was created because of those fundamental truths, and for half a century, has allowed women and girls to access colleges, sports, and scholarships that were previously unavailable. We won't let Biden threaten that, and we certainly will not let him erase our existence as women. Across the country, young women and girls are showing all of us how to be brave. They are leading this fight, and I'm happy to join them in standing up against the left's war on women. In West Virginia, 5 middle school girls were just banned from school sports when they refused to compete against a boy. Here in Arkansas, track athlete, Ainsley Urzin joined a lawsuit against the NCAA to uphold fairness in women's sports. It is absurd that in America, we have adults like president Biden who are more afraid of their radical base than these young women. With us today, we have Riley Gaines, a 12 time all American swimmer with 5 s c c titles, and one of the bravest voices speaking out on this issue, if the weak men running the White House had half the courage of Riley, our country would be in a much better place.

HYPOCRISY: Joe Biden Believes in Supporting Women's Sports?! https://t.co/twaQ7Xulzr

Video Transcript AI Summary
The video discusses the Biden administration's proposed rules to prevent schools from banning transgender athletes. It highlights the importance of supporting women's sports and LGBTQI+ individuals. The debate centers on the fairness of allowing biological males to compete in women's sports. The administration aims to prevent discrimination while acknowledging the complexity and diversity of opinions on the issue.

Speaker 0: Most watched women's college game ever. It matters to girls and women finally seeing themselves represented, and it matters to all of America. That's why as a nation, we need to support women's sports. We need to support women's sports. Speaker 1: The Biden administration has proposed new rules that would stop schools and colleges from passing outright bans on transgender athletes. Speaker 2: A proposed rule from the Biden administration would prevent schools and colleges from putting a blanket ban on transgender athletes. Specifically, it updates the federal law known as Title 9, which ensures students aren't discriminated against based on sex. Speaker 3: So I wanna say directly to LGBTQI plus kids, you are loved just as you are. Speaker 4: Final regulations build on the legacy of title 9 by clarifying that all our nation's students can access schools that are safe, welcoming, and respect their rights. So according to the Biden administration, pushing women out of women's sports builds on the legacy of title 9. I mean, help me understand. Speaker 5: They're saying all are welcome except for women. This is the most asinine really, I would say the the most anti woman, anti reality pursuit we have seen from this administration thus far. It is something that not Speaker 6: only abolishes women's Speaker 2: sports as we Speaker 5: know it. This would allow men and women's locker rooms, bathrooms, changing spaces, and this would compel our speech. Students and faculty would be forced required to use preferred pronouns. And if we don't or if you, a 17 year old girl who's randomly housed with a male in your dorm room, if this is something you go to your administration and express your discomfort with, under these new title 9, this new proposal, this new rewrite, you would be guilty and charged with sexual harassment, not the man parading around your locker room. No, to president Biden that's considered brave. Speaker 6: Former governor Nikki Haley, a presidential candidate says, quote, the idea that we have biological boys playing in girls sports, it is the women's issue of our time. Does the President agree that this is a women's rights issue? Speaker 3: So we've talked about this many times. This is the Title 9, specifically. Look, and again, we've talked about this multiple times. It's a complicated issue, and there are a wide range of views on this. Speaker 6: Boys have a penis. Girls have a vagina. Speaker 3: The Department of Education proposed a rule, as you know, that gives schools the flexibility to establish their own, athletics policies. And so while establishing guardrails, right, to prevent discrimination against transgender kids. And that is something that is incredibly important, that the president wants to make sure that we also do that as well. Speaker 6: Does he think it's fair for girls to have to compete against biological males? Speaker 3: I just answered the question. It is a complicated issue. Speaker 0: Do you have a penis or most girls have a vagina? Speaker 3: It is truly a complicated issue with a wide range of views, a wide wide range of views.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Massachusetts state police will not assist in mass deportations if requested by the Trump administration. There will be significant pressure on states and officials, and it's crucial to recognize the current legal landscape is different from 2016. While litigation may arise, states will explore various actions to protect their residents, utilizing regulatory authority, executive powers, and legislation. The focus must be on using all available tools to safeguard citizens, uphold democracy, and maintain the rule of law.

Speaker 0: If the Trump administration requests it, would the Massachusetts state police assist in mass deportations? No. Absolutely not. But, you know, let let me say this. I do think it's important that we all recognize that there's gonna be a lot of pressure on states and state officials. And I can assure you, we're gonna work really hard to deliver. Some some realities also need to be, you know, noted, and that is in 2016, we had a very different situation in the courts. And, while I'm sure there may be litigation ahead, you know, there's a lot of other ways that people are going to to act and need to act, for the sake of their states and and their residents. There's regulatory authority and executive powers and and the like. There's legislation also within our states. So I think that the key here is that, you know, every tool in the toolbox has gotta be used to protect our citizens, to protect our residents, and protect our states, and certainly to hold the line on democracy and the rule of law as a as a basic principle. Right?

Speaker 0: Hello. My name is Julia Dietrich. I'm from Bristol, Maine. I'm a junior at another Midcoast High School. And even though I'm not a student at Freeport High School, I would like to show my support for a team that rightfully earned its place in competition, only to have that opportunity taken away by an unfair policy that ignores the integrity of women's sports. Enough is enough. It is time for female athletes across Maine to take a stand against the Maine Principles Association and the governor's policies that are failing us. We have trained, we have sacrificed, we have played by the rules, yet we are being forced to watch as the rights and opportunities of female athletes are stripped away. If those in power refuse to protect fairness in women's sports, then we must make them understand the consequences of their decisions in the only way they seem to understand, through time, resources, money, and undeniable public pressure. For the past three years, I have competed in congressional debate, which is another organization governed by the MPA. Even in debate, there's a culture in the state of Maine that is anti woman and our own state judges making comments such as, your voice is too feminine. You would never be taken seriously if you continue to hold yourself that way. Your views are unreasonable. The fight is not just about one team, one championship, or one season. This is about every girl in the state of Maine who has ever laced up her shoes, stepped onto the field, prepared for a tournament, or poured her heart into a competition believing that she had a fair shot. It is time to act. Empty scoreboards and unanswered whistles send a message loud enough to the MPA that they can that to the MPA, our schools, and the state that that they cannot ignore it. I believe that the board should take a public stand against the MPA and the governor's position. We are not just athletes. We are not just students. We are not just parents. We are fighters. Video Transcript AI Summary
Maine Governor Janet Mills is facing scrutiny after the Department of Health and Human Services' civil rights division found the state in violation of Title IX for allowing biological men to compete in women's sports. The Department of Education, the Maine Principal's Association, and Greeley High School were specifically highlighted. Republican Maine State Representative Laurel Libby was censored for identifying a male athlete who won a girls' pole vault competition. Libby claims that the Democrat majority and Governor Mills are doubling down on this policy, despite most Mainers disagreeing with biological males participating in girls' sports. She suggests the governor will likely use taxpayer money to fight the Trump administration rather than protect Maine girls' rights and Title IX compliance, anticipating a court battle. Libby believes everyday Mainers find the Democrats' stance unpopular and unfair to girls, citing the support she's received since her censure. The loss of federal funding will affect everyone in educational institutions.

Speaker 0: Maine governor Janet Mills might be regretting taking on president Trump. Turns out the state cannot simply shirk its obligations under federal law. The civil rights division at the Department of Health and Human Services says that state is violating title nine, meaning engaging in discrimination by allowing biological men to compete against women in sports. Three entities have been highlighted, the Department of Education, the Maine Principal's Association, and Greeley High School. Republican Maine state representative Laurel Libby was recently censored for a post identifying a man who competed in and won a girl state pole vault competition at Greeley High. Speaker 1: Absolutely unbelievable, and Laurel Libby joins us now. Thank you for being with us, and thank you for just speaking the truth about all of this. I was just at the California State Republican Convention. The main speaker was Riley Gaines, and what she said really struck accordingly, which is in this election and in this whole conversation, people are rejecting absurdity. But it sounds like in your state, the Democrats are still for absurdity. Speaker 2: Yeah. The Democrat majority and, of course, our governor Janet Mills are doubling down on this absurdity. Really sticking to this policy, Mainers by and large don't agree with. They don't agree with biological males participating in girls sports. They certainly don't agree with doubling down on a policy that's going to mean not only do we not have a fair, safe, and level playing field for Maine girls, but we're going to lose our federal funding. We've got an incredible amount at stake here. Speaker 0: What is what is going to be the response from the governor, the governor's office representative after this finding from the office of civil rights at HHS? Speaker 2: Unfortunately, from everything that we've seen so far, I think that her stance is probably going to be to spend taxpayer dollars in order to fight president Trump and the administration on this rather than simply protecting Maine girls, ensuring that their rights are intact, and that we're following title nine. They keep to keep digging in further every step along the way. So I think we're gonna see this go to the courts. Speaker 1: And do you have any sense of the, you know, just normal people's reaction that the the the Democrats leading the state are taking these positions? Speaker 2: While the Democrats leading the state, the Democrat majority in the house and the senate and the governor may be taking this unpopular stance, that's not where Mainers are by and large. Everyday Mainers have common sense, and they understand and believe that biological males shouldn't be participating in girls sports. It's simply not fair to our girls to allow this to continue. And so the outpouring of support that I've been hearing since my censure says that Mainers don't support governor Mills and the Democrat majority in their stance on this. Speaker 0: And everyone's gonna suffer. Everyone. Not just the girls, but all but anyone in a educational institution because the money will go away. It will be pulled. Representative Laurel Libbey, great to see you. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you again. Please come back.

I’m thrilled to share that the Governor of Maine has agreed to ban men from competing in women’s sports, a significant victory for women. This decision follows President Trump’s direct challenge to Governor Mills, where he threatened to withdraw federal funding if she didn’t comply with his order. Speaker 0: The NCAA has complied immediately, by the way. That's good. But I understand Maine is Maine here? The governor of Maine? Well, I'm here. Are you, not gonna comply with it? I'm complying with state and federal laws. Well, I'm we are the federal law. Uh-huh. Well, you better do it. You better do it because you're not gonna get any federal funding at all if you don't. And by the way, your population, even though it's somewhat liberal, although I did very well there, your population doesn't want men playing in women's sports. So you better comp you better comply because otherwise, you're not getting any any federal funding. See you in court. Every state good. I'll see you in court. I look forward to that. That should be a real easy one. And enjoy your life after governor because I don't think you'll be in elected politics.

Speaker 0: What we did last night, some breaking news. We pulled all non essential funding from the Department of Corrections in Maine because they were allowing a man in a woman's prison. A giant six foot one, two forty five pound guy who committed a double murder with a knife, stabbed his parents to death and the family dog, and he identified as a woman. So they were letting him be housed in a female prison. No longer. We will pull your funding. We will protect women in prison. We will protect women in sports. We will protect women throughout this country. No more of that.
