United States Congress Is Bankrupting America Senator Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) “Over the past two decades, Congress has been bankrupting our nation. If you go back to the year 2000, our national debt was $5 trillion. That sounds like a wildly different world than where we are today because it was a wildly different world. Think about that for a moment. Forty-two presidents over the course of more than two centuries had built up a total debt of $5 trillion. Then a Republican came into office, George W. Bush. And over the next eight years, under a Republican president, our national debt went from $5 trillion to $10 trillion. We doubled the national debt in just eight years. Then a Democrat came into office, Barack Obama. And over the next eight years, the national debt doubled yet again, going from $10 trillion to 20 trillion. Now pause and reflect on that. Forty-two presidents over two centuries built five trillion in debt. Two presidents, one Republican and one Democrat, over just 16 years, quadrupled our national debt. And now over the last six years, again with a Republican president and a Democrat president, we've seen national debt grow from 20 trillion to 31.5 trillion dollars. This is unsustainable. The American people at home, if you're fed up with inflation, if you're fed up with the cost of food skyrocketing, with the cost of electricity, of rent, of lumber, of mortgages, of gasoline, of cars, of everything you buy, it's because politicians in Washington cannot stop spending money that we don't have. Now, we are at a moment in time because the American people elected a Republican majority in the House where we have an opportunity to stop the madness. And I believe it is incumbent on that Republican majority and on Republicans in the Senate to use every lever point we have to stop the out-of-control spending that is driving inflation, that is punishing hardworking Americans across this country. As everyone here is writing, the debt ceiling is coming up. And the debt ceiling historically has proven the most effective lever point to force meaningful concessions. Now let me dispense with a canard. Nobody standing here wants to default on the debt. Let me be absolutely clear and unequivocal. The United States of America should never, ever, ever default on its debt and whether or not the debt ceiling is raised immediately, the United States will not default on its debt. Why? Because revenue that comes in each month exceeds the interest payments that are owed. There is more than sufficient revenue coming in to ensure we never default on the debt. And every one of us supports legislation. Legislation, I call the Default Prevention Act. To put that in statute. To make clear. The chances of a default are 0.00%. The reason the Default Prevention Act hasn't been passed is the Democrats block it. There is one principal person in this town that is talking about a default of the debt, and that is Joe Biden. Joe Biden wants to threaten a default in the debt. He wants to scare the markets. And frankly, he's counting on y'all. He's counting on the press corps just to repeat his talking points. He's counting on the press corps just to say, those crazy Republicans want a default on the debt. That is false and if you write that in your stories, you are simply repeating partisan talking points from the White House. Historically, the death ceiling has proven incredibly effective. In 2011, by standing strong on the debt ceiling, the Republican majority in the House forced passage of the Budget Control Act, the most significant constraint in federal spending in modern times. I write this letter with a heavy heart. My American lineage has been traced all the way back to the Revolutionary War. Members of my family have served the United States of America in every war and conflict. There was a time we knew who the enemy was, and a time when we trusted our elected leaders to act in the best interests of America and their constituents. Even now as I write this letter, I have received a phone call telling me that the Department of Justice has arrested another American for being present at the Capital on January 6, 2021. Like so many other Americans, they arrived at the Capital on January 6, 2021, to peacefully exercise their First Amendment Rights given to them under the protection of the United States Constitution. They were there to voice their concern over an election riddled with integrity issues. Entire families came armed with prayer, their bibles, music instruments, and American flags. They had no clue they would become pawns in a grab for political power and prey for what has become the most powerful office in the land, The Department of Justice. Since January 6, 2021, over 1500 Americans have been arrested for being associated with January 6, 2021. 3 ½ years later, just as the gestapo rounded up and imprisoned its citizens, the DOJ continues to round up and ruin the lives of the American people. The evil seeping through our nation knows no age, Americans from birth to 81years of age have been targeted and continue to be targeted. Over the last 3+ years, I have come to personally know stories of the unlawfully persecuted and unlawfully prosecuted. 1500+ stories would result in a book, so for now I will share with you some of the inhumane treatment and inhumane living conditions that your American brothers and sisters are being subjected to daily. It’s my understanding that you have been “swatted” on several occasions, so you have experienced the fear that comes with having your door kicked in and laser lights from guns pointed at you and your children. This is common practice of the Department of Justice. They come to homes around 4 am with 30 -40 officers, they kick in their doors and spread out as if they were arresting ISIS or Hamas. The children along with their parents are traumatized. These are Americans with no criminal background. Many are combat veterans, first responders, nurses, doctors, teachers, blue collar, and white-collar workers. Children are subjected to seeing their mothers and fathers, grandfathers and grandmothers treated like criminals, handcuffed, placed in vehicles and transported to prisons across our nation. Jeremy Brown: Whistleblower. Jeremy Brown has video of the DOJ coming to his home to try and recruit him to be an informant for the DOJ on January 6, 2021. Shelly Stallings- Prior to her self-surrender, she was receiving treatment for breast cancer. For the first 11 months of her incarceration, she was denied her life saving medical treatment. The Munn Family: January 2021 was their daughters’ Senior year. She had worked hard and had earned a scholarship from the University of Texas. The Munson family attended the events of January 6, 2021, as a senior trip. When the DOJ came to their home, every family member was arrested, and their daughter lost her scholarship. Lucas Denney was a single father of two and a disabled combat veteran. He attended January 6, but never entered the capital. When he found out he was wanted he self-surrendered. For 83 days the DOJ moved him from prison to prison. For 83 days no one in his family knew where he was located. His 2 children were taken from him. He was denied Due Process, and as I write this letter, he is in a prison in Colorado where he is subjected to ongoing lock downs. Ryan Samsel: While imprisoned he has been beat to the point, he now has brain trauma, loss vision in one eye and has developed several blood clots. He is still being denied lifesaving medical care. Andrew Taake: Prior to his arrest he was receiving medical treatment for gynecomastia (condition where a male grows breasts) and testosterone. The prison physician chose not to follow the successful medical treatment but instead chose another treatment which has resulted in his breasts growing larger, which has resulted in several physical assaults. Greg Rubbenacker: This young man never had the opportunity to say goodbye to his dying father. I spoke with a representative from the prison and explained to her that his father was dying and he wanted to at least be able to say goodbye via video. The prison denied them the video. I spoke with Greg’s mother; she told me that Greg’s father cried himself to sleep every night that Greg was in jail. Sadly, the prison had no empathy for a dying man. Daniel Ball: He was assaulted by other inmates resulting in having several teeth busted out of his mouth in which he has still not received appropriate medical treatment. Prior to his arrest, He is a single father to a young boy. Julio Baquero: Died from Stomach Cancer (was he medically treated while imprisoned) Dominic Pezzola: Dominic has been subjected to several episodes of solitary confinement. At one point he was left in solitary confinement for 2 weeks because the officer who put him in solitary confinement did not report it and she quit. West Virginia Prison: There are currently women in the Hazelton, WV prison who is sharing a prison cell with male rapists who identify as female. Sara Carpenter: NYPD 9/11 First Responder. Currently in an Alabama Prison. Carried a tambourine with her on January 6, 2021. She is supposed to be in a halfway house but has been told due to employee shortage she has no case manager therefore she has to remain in prison. Howard Richardson: Elderly man kept in solitary confinement for most of his imprisonment because he was receiving letters of support that the prison did not agree with. Doe, John: Was held in plastic cuffs for so many hours it resulted in emergent surgery to keep his leg from being amputated. Several Americans while incarcerated have been physically assaulted, sprayed with mace, left in solitary confinement and tied up for days. Arrests include husband and wives, daughters and mothers, fathers and sons. They are being held in inhumane conditions. They are subjected to toilet water on the prison floors, black mold and human feces on their walls. They are targeted by prison guards and prisoners. They are placed in solitary confinement for weeks at a time. They have no heat in the winter and no a/c in the hot summers. During COVID some prisons would deny them access to their attorneys and family members if they declined the COVID Vaccine. Several J6rs were physically assaulted by prison guards when they lowered their mask to take their prescriptions. -Denied access to: -Their Lawyers -Medical Treatment -Religious Material -Commissary -Drinkable Water -Edible Food Access to correspondences (letters, emails, phones) Denied time outside of prison cell No access to library Denied time to see their family members Denied First Step ACT J6rs who were found guilty of 1512 which was thrown out by the Supreme Court are fearful to file a motion to vacate due to the DOJ stating they will file additional charges. Fear of the DOJ has resulted in several suicides. Three+ years ago I started what I believed was going to be a few written letters each week to a few Americans who I believed was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I was naïve to the inner workings of the Department of Justice and the Bureau of Prisons. 3+ years later, hundreds and hundreds of letters from persecuted Americans, I have become very educated to the entire system. I personally received letters from the DOJ/BOP deeming me as “anti-government” because I wrote a letter to the J6 incarcerated about America’s Founding Fathers. Never did I think George Washington and all the American blood that has been shed to preserve our Constitution would bring us to where we are today. Over government has become the tyranny in which our founding fathers fled from. America was supposed to forever be that “shining city on the hill.” God no longer resides in the halls we once called Freedom, he now resides with his children behind American prison bars. There was a time in which I believed in the three balances of powers that created our nation. I believed in our leaders. I believed in our leadership so much that I wanted to run for office. I no longer have any desire to come to your hill. I was hopeful when the Republicans took back Congress. I along with hundreds of thousands of Americans believed Congress would be the answer to the lack of accountability. We have not seen accountability. We have seen weakness and broken promises. What we have seen is that Congress has no power or chooses not to use it. Congress “holds the purse strings.” If you truly hold the purse strings, then you would not be approving money that is ear marked for our desolation. Let’s not forget that @POTUS Biden was the Democratic presidential candidate 63 days ago. We were told by the administration and the media that Biden was in perfect health and that videos of him exhibiting serious deterioration were ‘right wing propaganda.’ Then, threatened with the 25th amendment, on July 21st, he stepped aside to be replaced by @KamalaHarris who was complicit in the lie. She knew, and she told the American people otherwise. Her reward for keeping quiet was to become the presidential candidate without a primary or other transparent process for her selection. The Biden lie is perhaps the greatest lie ever told to the American people by our government. And this lie was also told to us repeatedly with a bold face by the current Democratic nominee for president. Now all of a sudden, the former most left-leaning Senator (proudly left of Bernie) and now the most left-wing politician in the country, over the last two months has become a gun-toting, shoot-the-intruder, fracking-supporting, border-wall-building candidate who began her career at @McDonalds. She almost sounds like a Republican candidate for president. How can anyone trust anything she says? Even if you carefully watch her speak or read the transcripts of the four interviews and one debate she has done, it is nearly impossible to understand what she is saying. She has yet to answer a direct question about the economy, the border, or foreign policy. In response to questions about specific policies, she simply repeats the same scripted stories about being a prosecutor, growing up middle class, and/or other non-sequiturs, and neither the media nor the moderators challenge these insipid, unresponsive answers. I voted for @JoeBiden because after @realDonaldTrump’s first term, I believed the country would benefit by a more centrist candidate. Biden promised to bring the country together. And as Biden was a supposed ‘one-term’ president, we were misled into believing he wouldn’t be beholden to the progressive wing of the party and could implement a moderate political agenda. I and the American people were misled. I apologize for casting my vote for Biden. It was a big mistake. VP Harris’s entire candidacy relies on support from an undisclosed cabal of party leaders who selected her in a private process. She didn’t get one vote in a primary. As such, she is perhaps the most beholden-to-the party candidate in history. Her campaign is a blatant attempt to say what she needs to say in order to get elected. She is keeping her appearances unprecedentedly limited compared to any other candidate in history so that she has less surface area to be understood for who she really is and what she actually believes. She has done four interviews and @Tim_Walz four during the last 63 days compared to 70 for Trump and @JDVance. [See: https://www.axios.com/2024/09/19/harris-media-strategy-hide-election] Ask yourself, what previous presidential candidate in history has run a campaign doing everything he or she could to avoid the media? You won’t find one. Then ask yourself, why? VP Harris’ evasiveness is only possible here because of a complicit media which should be screaming from the rooftops about her refusal to be interviewed, but instead repeatedly excuse and praise her and her campaign. In the nearly four years of the Biden/Harris administration, the world is up in flames with a hot war in Europe with approaching one million dead, and a growing conflagration in the Middle East. Our large and small cities are overrun with unvetted migrants with the associated impact on crime, budgets, and services, and lower income Americans cannot afford a proper meal. Our universities have become hotbeds of hate. Free speech is being squelched except for @X, one of the first likely targets, along with its proprietor @elonmusk, of a future Harris administration. Our government spending and waste are totally out of control and I could go on and on. I strongly encourage you to vote accordingly.

Dianne Feinstein’s husband made his money working with CCP companies, including a company that was found to be spying on the U.S. military through Chinese products. I am Lily Tang Williams. I was born in China to illiterate working-class parents, suffered under Mao’s Cultural Revolution and Communist dictatorship. I wanted freedom. America was my promised land. I was 23 when I fled tyranny. Arriving with $100 in my pocket and knowing very little English. I worked hard to make my American dream come true. Today I am happily married with three children, have my own businesses, and live in the Granite State where the spirit of liberty resides. My concern is that my children and grandchildren will not have the same opportunities I had. I see the shadow of authoritarianism cast by politicians who have locked us down, closed small businesses, inflated our money, and mortgaged our children’s future. I saw it all before in China: the division of society, silencing dissident voices, taking away parental rights, the indoctrination of youth, endless government mandates and control. People are losing their rights to make a living and make their own life choices. Are you worried yet? I am. I fear that the country I love is becoming like the country I left. Yesterday I spoke to a Christian pastor from Gaza. There are children starving. And Christians have been killed and injured, as well as many innocent people. If you are an American Christian, this should be absolutely unacceptable to you. Just as we said that Hamas killing and kidnapping innocent people on Oct 7th is absolutely unacceptable. Are innocent Israeli lives more valuable than innocent Palestinian and Christian lives? And why should America continue funding this? The secular government of nuclear armed Israel has proven that they are beyond capable of dealing with their enemies and are capable of and are in the process of systematically cleansing them from the land. Most Americans that I know don’t hate Israel and we are not antisemitic at all. We are beyond fed up with being told that we have to fix the world’s problems, pay for the world’s problems, and fight all the world’s wars while Americans are struggling to survive even though they work everyday. And many of us, even though we are Christians, no longer want to fund and fight nuclear armed secular Israel’s wars especially when it leads to starving children and killing innocent people including Christians. Of course we are against radical Islamic terrorism, but we are also against genocide. You see.. When you have worked your entire life, and will only receive a $1,000 Social Security check, but noncitizens were given $3,500 and more, you are pissed off. When you have worked your entire life, and all your elected federal officials have recklessly spent and sent your hard earned money to every foreign country and every foreign war and NGO to the point we are almost $40 TRILLION in debt and inflation has caused life to be unaffordable, you are pissed off. When you have worked your entire life, and your elected federal government officials refuse to fix the absurd problems that makes all insurance unaffordable, you are pissed off. And for the younger generations, who are trying their hardest to make it in this ridiculous system, they feel hopeless! And that makes me burn with anger. None of this is antisemitic and I, along with millions of Americans, refuse that manipulative label. It’s the consequences of decades of America LAST policies, nonstop foreign intervention, and the American people clearly seeing the truth and suffering. Here is where I stand. No American should face persecution of any kind because of their identity. Not Jewish American. Not Muslim American. Not Christian American. Not White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, mixed American. And on and on. We already have hate crime laws against that and that’s not who we are in America and we have and should continue to work hard to not allow ourselves to become that. My position is this. As a U.S. Representative, I represent the American people. My full focus is on fixing America’s problems. And right now, the problems in America are threatening my children’s future. I consider that a war against my children. Every single person, no matter who they are that continues to enslave my children in debt, continues policies that make their lives unaffordable, and prioritizes foreign countries and foreign wars above my children’s lives and livelihoods, I see as the enemy waging the war against my children and their generation. I will continue to push for world peace because that is the type of world I want for my children and all the world’s children. I want America to put American companies and American jobs first and to protect American land and American homes from foreign consumption. Most importantly, I demand the federal government serve the American people, who pay your salaries. September 30th brings another annual government funding deadline. I sincerely hope Republicans, out on August recess right now, will return in September with a renewed focus to stop funding foreign wars and stop waging the fiscal war against my children and their entire generation.

My publicly disclosed portfolio is diversely invested through a financial manager whom I’ve signed a fiduciary contract with.
