Speaker 0: Good morning. It's Thursday of the longest week of our lives. I'm out and about for about another hour. I've been out on, around Redwood Road and kind of around 3300 south out into West Valley. Confirming tips if you have any.
We have really haven't had any in real time this early even though that's when they're active. But, you know, it's a big city. So on that note, I'm gonna be spending the weekend trying to figure out how to make this the most useful. I do wanna be out and about because if I can catch them filming, it has the potential to help someone's legal case. But I also wanna make sure that I'm not wasting anybody's time doing this, including my own.
Because so far, it's been all of you who've been sharing the information that's the most helpful, not me driving up to it. So we'll see. What else? Boy, it's what? Day 6 of this for me and a little bit longer for everybody else.
I think we're in it for the long haul, like, a long time. So, we're, meeting with other people to figure out what's really needed and how we can stay energized ourselves through this and do the most make the most impact to help pea the most people because it's gonna be a long haul. But I'm here for the long haul because it's important, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep sending me those tips. I put the ones that are confirmed in my stories, and last night, I put kind of a long list of unconfirmed ones at the end of the day.

Speaker 0: Hey, guys. My name is Rhea Chadrigan. I am an immigration attorney in Houston, Texas. I'm jumping on here today to share a story. I don't usually post, work things like that on TikTok, but today, I feel like I have to.
I was contacted on Tuesday by, the daughter of someone who was detained, and I have his authorization to share the story. And I've been going back and forth. Should I do it? Should I not? Because I don't wanna fear monger, but these really are, unprecedented times and unchartered territory, especially for, you know, people who recently got to practicing.
So, this individual that is detained that I'm trying to get released, he had an asylum hearing in September, and it was denied. And he timely filed an appeal, so he's not removable. He cannot be deported. He has a pending asylum case with the Board of Immigration Appeals. And, he has a work permit.
He's law abiding. He did enter without inspection. He surrendered to, CBP, and he's taken the ICE custody. He was released on his own recognizance, with ADT reporting requirements, which means he had to, like he has an app on his phone where once a month, he has to take a picture of himself and share his location, and they can track his location from it all the time. So, and he does that on on the thirteenth of every month.
And so, when I went to visit him today, I asked him, like, what happened? Can you tell me, like, why you were detained? Because I I really don't understand why. And he told me that or what happened when you were detained? And he told me that, he was at home last Sunday.
He woke up. He got a call, from a number, and it was the ice lady that calls and checks in on him and checks up on him and whatever. And, she said, hey. Are you home? Because the GPS and your app, I don't think it's working, blah, blah, blah.
And he was like, no, I'm home. Like, everything's fine with my phone. Like, you know, I'm in compliance. I sent my picture, like, what's going on? And she's like, no, everything's fine.
Don't worry. I'm just gonna come over in in about ten minutes. He said, okay. And he got up out of bed and, he went and asked his wife to make coffee because this lady was coming. So he said, please, can you make her a cup of coffee?
And then, Ice shows up, knocks on his door. He had just put his pants on. He opens the door, and they, they're like, just come outside for a moment. Just come outside for a moment. They I guess they weren't as visual, like, he wasn't able to see them.
And he steps out and DEA he sees someone with, like, DEA written on on whatever they're wearing and, guns pulled. They throw him to the ground. They detain him. They put him in shackles, literal shackles. They put handcuffs on his hands and on his feet, and it was all chained together.
And he's just like, what's happened? What's happening? Like, you have the wrong guy. Like, I didn't do anything. Like, extremely confused.
And, he said, it's cold. Can I just grab a jacket? Because he really didn't think he was gonna be detained. He didn't do anything. He's not a criminal.
He's not, you know, none of those things. And he's in compliance with everything. And they grabbed him and they detained him, and he's been detained for about today's the sixth day, and I'm working on trying to get him released. But his daughter told him afterwards once he was detained and he called her, she said, you know, outside, it looked like they were coming to get some, like, huge criminal. It was like a war scene.
Like, there were so many officers, so many people, all these resources being used for a nonviolent person who is in compliance with everything he should be doing. He has a work permit. He has a job. He pays taxes. And that just says a lot about the times we're living in.
It's time to get your papers together. If you don't have papers, consult with an immigration attorney and find out your options. Sometimes you have options that you don't even know about. There's a lot of people who entered, you know, illegally who are married to US citizens or green card holders. There are waivers available.
There might be something that you can do. I'm not saying there is. This is not legal advice. You need you would need a consultation for that, but talk to somebody, even if it's not me. Talk to someone and figure out what to do.
And, honestly, at this point, I feel like everybody should have an immigration attorney on speed dial, in case something happens because, you know, they're just doing whatever they want. And I've been really hesitant to post anything about it, but at this point, I don't know what else to do. I don't know what else to do. It's it's just so scary. Yeah.

Speaker 1: Laura, it was a leak, and it was leaked to not a reporter, but a far left open borders activist who doesn't like ICE and doesn't want ICE to succeed, and he's trying to say that he's just reporting the news. No. He's not. He went well beyond that. If you guys pull up his his string of tweets, not only did he give these targets a heads up that this was coming, he then said ICE has warrants.
They can go into your home, so, quote, plan accordingly. He then went on to say that the highways aren't safe. Stay off the highways because state police are partnering with ICE. That crosses the line from reporting into activism. And here's why it's so egregious in this case, Laura.
He openly says in his reporting there that ICE had up to 100 judicial warrants to go after these guys. That means a judge had signed off on these criminal warrants and given ICE the green light to go after them. That means there is a higher degree of criminality. These are not just administrative ICE arrests. These are criminals.
They're fugitives. They're people with final orders of removal, and ICE had judicial permission to target them and go after them. Well, this activist has apparently decided to align himself with those criminal aliens, give them a heads up, and then coach them and advise them on how to avoid ICE. And Laura, you and I may find that abhorrent, but the real blame here goes with whoever leaked him that information. Because the big question right now is who in this Trump administration is talking to a far left ICE hating activist, you know, immigration reporter, as he describes himself, and is leaking these operational details to him because his information was accurate, Laura.
I confirmed with ICE sources. There were operations in Virginia today. So, look, a lot of people in the Trump administration have been going on TV saying that these leakers are gonna be punished. They're gonna be identified. They're gonna be consequence.
But we haven't seen any of that yet. Right? Aurora leaked. Chicago leaked. LA leaked.
Now Virginia leaked. It seems to be getting worse and worse. We may not like what this activist is reporting, but the true blame goes to whoever is leaking that information to him and giving up the ICE intel.

They can be people who have final orders of removal, meaning they've already had their immigration cases heard, and a judge has ordered them deported, from The United States. It essentially means that they're not just targeting these people because they're in The US illegally.
They have a criminal history, perhaps a violent felony, perhaps a rape, perhaps an assault with a deadly weapon. They're not they're not good guys that a a judge is signing off on. Right? So this guy decided to not only give them a heads up, but then actively coach them. Hey.

Speaker 7: Judge Hannah Dugan did make her initial appearance, this morning. She was charged with two federal crimes that includes concealing a person from discovery and arrest, and the second count is obstruction of federal proceedings.
Speaker 3: The worst offenders have been nonprofits such as the Vera Institute of Justice, named by progressive magazine Mother Jones, as one of the oldest, largest, and most prominent pro immigration nonprofits in the country. Founded in 1961, the Vera Institute of Justice focuses on criminal justice reform. And under the Biden administration, they industrialized the use of federal grants to empower illegal immigrants. And Vera is proud of their work. We know this thanks to their associate director of advocacy, Santiago Mouquet, who bragged to one of our undercover journalists about his fine tuning of their immigration department from crafting strategy to managing media engagement and even shaping public policy.

Now mister Muquet says Vera is actively notifying illegal immigrants where ICE is operating, a potential violation of title eight US code thirteen twenty four, which states it is a federal crime for anyone to knowingly conceal, harbor, or shield from detection an illegal immigrant. Mister Mouquet also revealed that there is storing databases and trends locations. These databases directly include where ICE keeps, moves, and even detains illegals, leaving officers exposed to potential ambushes like the foiled assassination plot in Alvarado, Texas on the July 4.

Various strategies have been mirrored by other pro immigration groups like Catholic Charities USA, which was recently caught coaching illegal immigrants how to dodge ICE raids and evade federal agents. Vera's time operating in the shadows may soon be coming to an end according to Jessica Vaughn, director of policy at the Center for Immigration Studies. Now Jessica has thirty years of experience advising on immigration policy.
Speaker 4: I think that the Department of Justice under Pam Bondi and the Trump administration is already on to the Vera Institute since they have pulled back about $5,000,000 in their funding. You know, the Vera Institute should be on their radar for a number of different reasons, but in particular, because they seem to be sympathetic to and willing to encourage people who are actively resisting ICE. It's wrong to characterize harboring illegal aliens from immigration enforcement as some kind of, like, underground railroad type of activity. These organizations that are encouraging people to resist ICE are setting it up so that the law is gonna come down harder on the people who are resisting. But at worst, they could be setting up ICE officers to be put into dangerous situation situations where they are harmed.
Speaker 3: Despite claims by immigration experts like missus Vaughan and president Trump's border czar Tom Homan, Joshua Aaron denies his app has been used to dox or obstruct federal agents. This is the developer of the ICEBLOC app used to show the location and vicinity of ICE agents.
Speaker 0: Does the app encourage anyone to do anything illegal?
Speaker 8: Absolutely not. Our whole thing is inform, not obstruct. In fact, multiple times throughout the app, it says for informational purposes only. At no time are we encouraging violence. At no time are we encouraging any kind of interference with law enforcement.
So to those who say this app is doxxing somebody or this app is going to cause violence against law enforcement, there's literally no way to do that. Right? So there there's no way to dox somebody in the app because the term doxing is, you know, to reveal personal information about somebody. This is tap on the map. Speaker 3: How does Vera fund these potentially illegal activities and mister Mouquet's salary? Well, though their donations are private, mister Mouquet revealed at least two of their top donors, billionaire Jeff Bezos and the Gates Foundation.

Speaker 3: Now in a statement to OMG, Vera denies Jeff Bezos is a donor, but his ex wife, on the other hand, publicly revealed she donated to the Vera Institute of Justice in an article published in March 2022. And on Vera's nine ninety tax form for that year, it includes the largest single donation of over 188,000,000 from an anonymous person, but the person is not named. Scott received 38,000,000,000 in Amazon stock on the divorce and has since given away $19,000,000,000 to progressive campaigns and nonprofits. Now as for the Gates Foundation headed by billionaire Bill Gates, their website reveals Vera received a $4,000,000 grant in 2023. Despite this admission, Vera denies that any of those funds go towards their immigration work.
During the Biden administration, Vera kept a cozy relationship with the US government, resulting in a total of 350,000,000 of taxpayer funds being granted to help illegals resist deportation. President Trump's attorney general Pam Bondi cut Vera's funding in April, slashing $5,000,000 from their budget. The DOJ says Vera, quote, no longer effectuates the program goals or agency priorities. Vera is currently suing the Trump administration to reinstate their federal funding. Despite the director's statements to the contrary, when reached out for comment, Vera denied tracking and notifying illegals about impending ICE raids or providing direct legal or social services, but happily admitted that they do use an ICE database to track detention trends and that other unnamed organizations like them have tipped off illegal immigrants, something that Tom Homan and others say put federal officers in danger.
Speaker 9: The job's already dangerous. But when you're out there tracking ICE movements and and giving people heads up they're coming, that just puts the the danger at a whole new level.
