And the judge sentenced him to 18 months. He'll probably serve 9. But for his own protection, they put him in segregation. They put him in solitary confinement. So he's in this tiny cell, and he's only let out now luckily now luckily, they're they're giving him exercise every day. They weren't even doing that before. He is in solitary confinement. No one is meant to do 9 months of solitary confinements. That's how they tried to get Julian Assange to go mad. I mean, even in the few hours I was in jail with no human contact, no phone, you start to get a little stir crazy. Imagine 9 months of solitary, and that's the UK. And where is the clamor? Or where are the civil liberties unions? And I like the fact that Elon Musk is poking at the UK. Alex, you hear me say it? I've always said going to Europe is like getting into a dystopian time machine and seeing 5 years into your own future if you don't change course. The UK is so far down that road. Canada is halfway down that road. And my warning to your listeners, Alex, is do not go down that road. It was a fraudulent auction. That happened in court yesterday. No news coverage of that. I mean, they are desperate to silence us because the truth is powerful. The truth is contagious, and the truth will win. So that shows the tide is turning globally. Populists are being elected everywhere, but the system is coming down. The UN, NATO, Eric Schmidt of Google saying we need the UN and NATO to shut down American speech and speech in Europe. Instead of simply clearing out protesters and punishing them via conventional legal means, Trudeau invoked emergency powers broad enough to permit the financial unpersoning of anyone participating in the protest. He went to their bank accounts and took their money. When people raise money voluntarily through crowd financing to help these truckers, he stole that money as well through martial rule. That's why we must have checks and balances. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Chrystia Freeland put it this way in describing Trudeau's martial law. As of February 2022, in a warning to the truckers, as of today, a bank or a financial service provider will be able to immediately freeze or suspend an account without a court order. The Government of Canada, essentially Trudeau, could freeze a bank account without a court order, without due process of law. We are today serving notice. If your truck is being used in these protests, your corporate accounts will be frozen. The insurance on your vehicle will be suspended. Send your trailers home. And while native born Americans may think that emergency powers are to be used to target others, I would venture to guess that the Canadian truckers protesting COVID era mandates didn't expect that their government would treat them as foreign adversaries and freeze their accounts. If it can happen in Canada, it can happen in the US.
