Speaker 0: A hospital attacking the hospital, the displaced people inside, the doctors, and the injuries by the Israeli army and the Israeli soldiers, the Israeli tanks and bulldozers. So for those who don't know, people are either inside the build one building of Shefa complex buildings without water, without food, without the ability to move anywhere, or to get outside that building and, to be executed. And talking about execution, today, Muhammad al Nunu, he is a doctor, the Israeli army executed Muhammad al Nunu because he refused to leave the unit that he is working in and refused to leave his patients and preferred to stay, to complete their treatment because a lot of the ICU, of the intensive care unit, patients died, passed away because there is no electricity, there is no food, there is no staff. There is bombing and burning for the hospital utilities. So he refused to leave them, and he was executed. He was killed on front of the people, in front of the patients. This is what is happening now in Isheva Hospital. It is a hospital, and this is happening to them. Thousands of people, women, children, and innocent men and civilians are, stuck in in a building, in a Shefa hospital without food, without water. They started to to drink the the hospital stored selling solutions. It's the only liquids that they have, and no one is talking about that. No one. No media, no enough media, no governments, no one is talking about this. And this is not the only horrific thing that happened today in the north of Gaza Strip. By the way, today, between 10 to 20 people were killed by the Israeli shooting on Kuwaiti roundabout while they were waiting for their humanitarian aid. They were waiting for food because they're starving to death in the north of Gaza Strip in Ramadan month. They were waiting for food, and they were killed by the Israeli army. How many times we need to scream more about that? The North of Gaza Strip is under attack like it was the the the first days of the genocide. Exactly. They are brutally killed and bombed. It is a hospital with thousands of innocent people, medical staff, injuries, civilians, and they are starved to death. They're without water, without treatment. They're pleading in front of each others until the death, and everyone is out of the building, has got executed by the snipers, or inside the building starving to death. This is what is happening now inside the Sheikah hostel now at this moment for 6 days.

Video Transcript AI Summary
A medical professional was treating an injured patient when an Israeli soldier ordered him to leave. He refused, resulting in the nurse being shot in the leg. The nurse underwent surgery but was later arrested by Israeli soldiers and taken to prison, where he was blindfolded and handcuffed for 45 days, receiving minimal food and no medical care for his wounds. After his release, he crawled for 3 kilometers to reach help, suffering severe injuries, including a damaged eye. This case exemplifies torture, denial of medical care, and the broader societal impact of such actions, which undermine the community's future. The nurse now faces the possibility of leg amputation, which would further diminish his ability to contribute to society.

Speaker 0: Helping other Gazans who are injured. He's closing a wound in the operating room. During that closure, an Israeli soldier, I believe it was the Kuwaiti hospital, but I could be wrong, and it is an IDF soldier comes in and and orders him to leave the patient who's still asleep on the table. He refuses to. The nurse gets his knee shot and his tibia bone, the bone right below the knee, the bottom half of the knee, gets blown across the operating room. He's missing this much of his of his shin bone by the knee. He gets operated on that day himself to save his life and to save his leg. They fill the defect with medical plastic, cement. His wounds can't be closed because he's missing a bunch of skin. He's admitted to the hospital, of course. The next day, the Israeli soldiers come and arrest him. They take him to Israel in a prison, blindfolded and handcuffed. He remained blindfolded and handcuffed for 45 days. Fed a juice box every day, sometimes every other day, no solid food, zero wound care, with a gaping open wound. He then gets dropped off at the border naked, on the 45th day, because they do their investigation. I suspect that clearly he's not Hamas because they never would have let him go. Right? So he crawls for 3 kilometers, blinded in one eye because there's a going away present. He gets a rifle butt in his right eye. It explodes in his head. Right. His eye liquids are dripping down his face. He crawls in the dirt. Somebody finds him naked, brings him to our hospital. So a perfect example of starvation, torture, inappropriate arrest and detainment, the denial of medical care, which is against our country's Leahy Act. Right? All those high war crimes in just one person. And today, I communicate with them almost every day. He's in Egypt, and he told me yesterday they want to amputate his leg. Well, that'll above the knee, which will take him out of the operating room, which means the the societal investment into this guy to help 100 of thousands of people in his lifetime is wasted. The morbidity that was cast upon this man, the pain that let alone the pain and the torture inflicted, but the loss to society of people who are now not taxpayers, but tax consumers in a in a country that will never collect taxes again for a millennia is is devastating to the infrastructure of a society, which again is the goal of the autocracy of Israel that my country and my taxpayers are supporting quite illicitly and quite illegally.

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker witnessed a tangible increase in starvation and emaciation of patients during their three weeks in Gaza. They recount mass casualty events, including people being killed in tents in green zones. A healthcare worker friend was followed by a quadcopter drone and killed with his three children in their tent. The UN reports over 1,500 healthcare workers have been killed, including ten scrub nurses at Nassau Hospital. Staff members are starving and losing family, yet continue to work. Before the war, about 500 trucks of aid entered Gaza daily, but since then, it's been less than 10%, despite Israel controlling all entry points. Gaza, a quarter the size of London, has been reduced to 14% of its landmass, holding 2,000,000 starving people with no resources, which is the equivalent of the population of Exeter. The speaker reports that the Israeli army bombed the WHO medical warehouse on July 22, endangering international volunteers.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: When you were there, did you see the increase in malnutrition before your eyes? Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely. From the first week I was there until the end, three weeks later, it was a tangible difference in the amount of starvation and the emaciation of our patients. Even the severity and relentlessness of the bombings was worse. I mean, it was mass casualty after mass casualty with people being blown up in their tents, which were meant to be in green zones. The situation was catastrophic. Speaker 0: And some of those people who were shot at by drones in their tents with some of your own colleagues as well, one in particular, a father and his children were killed. Tell us more about that. Speaker 1: He was followed home one day, and this is eyewitness testimony from other healthcare workers in the hospital, by a quadcopter drone. And it didn't kill him on the route where he was on his own. It waited until he was in his tent and greeted his three children and killed all of them. Their bodies were brought to the hospital. And it's a real loss. This isn't just one case. His case is devastating to me because he was my friend. But actually more than fifteen hundred healthcare workers, according to the UN now, have been killed. In Nassau Hospital alone, more than ten scrub nurses have been killed. This has direct impact on the quality of care we can give our patients. And if you just step outside even more, the staff members themselves are starving, their family members are being killed, and yet they're still coming to work. Never before have I seen such dignified, committed people. Look, I'm not a politician, I'm here as a humanitarian. And what I saw were emaciated children. The crucial point is that before the war, there was about 500 trucks of aid coming into Gaza every day. And remember, Israel has complete control over every entry and border into Gaza. And so they were allowing about 500 trucks a day. And since then, and you can look at the UN figures, it's been less than 10%. And this is a decimated population who have had more than six Hiroshima dropped on them. This is a land that is about a quarter the size of London. The entire strip of Gaza is a quarter the size of London. And they've been moved into 14% of that land because 86% is called an evacuation zone and they've been actively bombing those areas. So now you've got 2,000,000 starving people in the same size as Exeter, which in our country, in our census in 2021, had 130,000 people in it. It. That's 2,000,000 people with no water, no sanitation, no food, no medical supplies. On the July 22 when I left, Israel Army bombed the WHO medical warehouse. And there were people on my convoy with me that were still shaking, that literally were lucky to escape with their lives. And these were international volunteers.

They were 'not allowed to bring any baby formula, any money' and 'cards don't work,' with equipment down to the basics and patients on the floor, mass casualty. They moved to Al Shikhar Hospital and call it a nightmare as bombing continues; attacks included 'Apache, F-thirty five, F-sixteen, rowboats,' and more than 1,500 people still dead under rubble in the hospital. There was 'no Internet and no electricity,' and staff worked forty eight hour shifts. They demand unimpeded medical aid and an arms embargo, noting 'the F-thirty five parts are not non lethal, They are absolutely lethal.' Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Here's doctor Nader Abadrobe and doctor Syazeev. We're two doctors from Australia. We're here in Gaza at the moment. We arrived in the middle in a lifestyle hospital first, but the situation was disastrous, where we're having kind of kids coming after a strike with most let's say seventy to eighty percent of our patients are kids and pregnant women. And the situation was terrible and there was no water, no food and people living in the hospital everywhere. It was very common for a person to be the only survivor of their family. Everyone has lost most of their family. It was very hard for us to get in and there was a lot of restrictions. We were not allowed to bring any baby formula, any money and the cards don't work. We are hardly surviving and hardly able to help anyone. There's no equipment. They're down to the very basics running out of working scissors. There's no soap in the theatre room to scrub in, no gloves, nothing at all. We're treating patients on the floor, mass casualty after mass casualty, they're using all the weapons. However, when we came north to Al Shikhar Hospital, it's a nightmare. It is a nightmare. We're doing this video because we know that we might die at any time unfortunately. Our accommodation is in the delivery, the old delivery room. Speaker 1: As you can see, this is Speaker 0: the hospital. It's all bombed, but the bombing is still happening. When we came from the middle to the north we saw people are evacuating. Instead of twenty minutes on the road it took us around eight hours to reach. As soon as we reached bombing after bombing with the Apache, F-thirty five, F-sixteen, rowboats, all sorts of weapons attacking us from everywhere around the hospital. The number of patients and the number of dead bodies arriving are ridiculous. So we're just basically people dead. We have more than 1,500 people still dead under the rubble in the hospital. Today they bombed just in front of the main entrance of the hospital. Two days ago they did the same. The issue is we leave the our accommodation is a walking and outside walking distance. So, we could be at any time at that side of the bomb as an international. We're not even being we we've been told we'd give we'd be given an evacuation order. No even evacuation order as international people. So the situation here is is just disastrous. I can't describe it. In the middle of the mass casualty today, there's no Internet and no electricity. We're still out of Wi Fi, so we can't communicate with our family. We can't put our picture up, and they're asking us to stay silent. Otherwise, our life will be in danger. What does that supposed to mean? We're just we're just telling you what's happening. We're not allowed to show the photos because it's so traumatic and not allowed to post, but we're documenting this as part of what's happening for the future because someone needs to see this, someone needs to help those poor people. They're only most of them are just kind of people or they're kind of hitting things randomly. There are doctors. Doctors here are doesn't don't come to work because they're dead. Their family members are dead. Or they they've been told to go to the South at least to save themselves from being killed. So anyone who stays here, they know that they will be killed and they can't come back. So the situation need to stop. I'm just, I don't know what to say but I'm asking for help and I know that our life is in danger too so if the help was kind of coming from any part of the world just can anyone be able to stop this terror and horror please? Anyone, could you please stop it? People here had enough, we had enough, there's no word to describe. Not sure, sorry Doctor. Sayeh. Hi, Speaker 1: I'm Doctor. Sayeh Aziz, I'm an anaesthetist who works in Australia and essentially I'm in a state of shock. We're in Al Shifa Hospital. We've been here a week. It took us two attempts to try and get up to the North to come to El Shifa and we thought it was devastating in Shehad Al Aqsa hospital where we spent a couple of days and we've come to El Shifa Shifa and it is catastrophic, it's cataclysmic but I can't even begin to explain how horrific the situation is. From an anaesthetic point of view, many simple things that should be straightforward, it's just non existent. So we have patients walking into theatre, we have patients coming in asking how their relatives are, absolute it's chaos. They have to bring their own mattress if they're lucky and they've rescued it from the rubble. They have to bring the patient on the mattress. The family members have to lift the patient onto the bed. The operating bed doesn't go up or down, it's broken. We essentially have no suction, there's no suction, we have to share a suction with the surgeons and it is filthy, there's nothing to clean anything from. It's a miracle that we're getting anything done. We have started at 08:00 this morning and it's about 11:00 at night. Now this is us. The people from Gaza, the healthcare workers have been working day and night. They do forty eight hour shifts. Some pay some some of the healthcare workers have to continue on because the others can't make it. They're stranded, they've moved south, so they're working non stop tirelessly. They're all thin, skeptic, exhausted, they've been malnourished for two years. They've been doing this for two years and to see their dedication to each and every patient to try and save each and every life I'm in I'm in awe of them. Cannot believe they are continuing after two years. We have been here two days and it's been a shock. I don't know how they've been doing it for two years. It's unbelievable. Like, the lack of equipment. An operation that should take an hour takes three hours because they have to wait twenty minutes to find a suture, to find a pair of scissors. There's flies everywhere in the wooves like there's just no way of maintaining any form of sterility and the stress and the tension between the healthcare workers each and everyone is worried about their situation no one knows where they're going to go, what they're going to do. You can sense the anxiety in the room and yet they still manage to focus on the patient. Just don't know how they're managing to do it and they're all having to worry about their family members, how they're going to feed them, they have no structure, their children have been out of school for two years now, there's no schools, healthcare is completely, it's not collapsing, it has collapsed. I don't know how it's functioning and you know patients who should be going to intensive care, should be coming back getting a relook they just, they can't, there's no way. I have had to take patients out into not even a recovery it's literally taking them onto the floor I have no idea what's happening and just getting the family members to look after them they can't even do any dressing changes there's nothing! And then on top of that the bombs are dropping There was a bomb outside the hospital front door. Today we've only been here two days, this is two days in a row. Today we've had zero internet, we've got no wifi, there's no way of communicating with anybody. It's intentional psychological warfare, I'm not sure what's happening but this has to stop. They need to stop throwing the bombs. We need absolute unimpeded medical aid. We need food, nutrition, there's no way that patients are going to heal and the worst part is it's all children and women and young families like it's a stain on our humanity and I am ashamed to call myself human, I'm ashamed to be an Australian who has basically remained silent. The F-thirty five parts are not non lethal, They are absolutely lethal, and I would want any I would challenge any minister, in the Australian parliament to come and spend a day here with us. I would love for them to spend a day and then decide whether their f 35 parts are non legal. So we need to have an arms embargo right now. Enough is enough. Just an example of one day today. Speaker 0: So it's not just, you know, one mass casualty. So one mass casualty and that's, they say the lucky one or oh you haven't seen anything yet Doctor Nada. So at least 10 20 dead on arrival or GCS three that we can't do anything about and we can't we don't even have painkillers. The only thing that we have is ketamine.
