During his career, Meek also served as senior counterterrorism adviser and investigator for the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security. In 2017, his breaking news coverage of shooting at Orlando’s Pulse nightclub received an Emmy. Immediately after the raid on Meek’s home, Meek resigned from ABC News. He was arrested on charges of alleged transportation of images of child sex abuse in January 2023. In court documents filed Monday, Meek’s lawyer, Eugene Gorokhov asked for no more than the minimum sentence, and argued that the prosecutors’ recommendations were “excessive.” Gorokhov claimed that “Meek’s criminal conduct in this case is completely at odds with his proven personal values,” and appealed to the defendant being a father of two girls. JPMorgan Chase has agreed a settlement with the US Virgin Islands over a lawsuit that alleges that the bank facilitated Jeffrey Epstein’s sex-trafficking crimes. The Mail Online reports: The settlement includes $30 million that will go towards US Virgin Islands charity groups that work to combat sex trafficking, $25 million to the territory’s government to fund law enforcement, and $20 million in attorneys fees. The territory had sued JPMorgan for at least $190 million, saying the bank ignored red flags about convicted sex offender Epstein because he was a wealthy and lucrative client from 1998 to 2013. The settlement, which must be approved by a judge, concludes the final major legal case tied to Epstein’s abuses of women and girls, a scandal that embroiled some of the world’s most powerful figures in finance and business. JPMorgan also agreed in June to pay out $290 million to resolve a separate suit brought by the predator’s victims. In separate case, Apollo Global Management co-founder Leon Black paid $62.5 million to the US Virgin Islands in July to avoid any legal claims tied to Epstein. This is something that actually just came out just a little bit, like, maybe about 3 days ago. And it's a French whistleblower, and he's saying the wife of the Ukrainian president Zelensky Runs a sex trafficking network in which displaced Ukrainian children are given to known pedophiles all around the world. And this is something I've been trying to tell people about for a while. This this used to happen here in the United States, and Pizzagate was the last of it. Once once they everybody sort of connected the dots about Pizzagate, that's when they finally stopped doing most of that networking here in the United States. And they started doing it everywhere else. Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Africa, even, Haiti. Or Haiti was even doing some of the but They literally got these networks in Ukraine, and they're selling children just left and right. They're literally taking children from homes, from everywhere. It ain't it's not just Ukrainian children. It's it's Russian children. Any child they can get their hands on with their CPS, whatever their child services is over there, and also in Europe, England, Germany, whole bunch of places. This is the network that was originally called the finders, which is now expanded worldwide, and this is what they're doing. In the precincts where they had paper ballots, he had 68% of the votes. In the precincts where they had electronic voting machines, you had between 8 10% of the vote. When I first started out, After the McDonald case, I received some phone calls. The FBI was here talking to me about you. I filed a Freedom of Information request. I learned that I had 3 investigations of me by the FBI. Here I am. I was one of the top executives. I was interviewed for the director's job in 1975, and I'm being investigated.
