Speaker 1: Well, Bill, our viewers know for years now, we've been reporting from inside this park, and migrants have been able to freely cross into this park and the United States. Well, now, over the past week or so, we have not seen any large groups being able to get inside of this park. There is row after row of razor wire and fortification, and it seems like it is working. Texas is also now arresting migrants who illegally cross into Texas under governor Abbott's new emergency declaration, Texas DPS says last night it arrested 3 men for a criminal trespass after they crossed through the razor wire, one man that was from Ecuador. Also today, the Texas National Guard is scheduled to install 100 of yards of additional fencing and razor wire to bolster this park's border.
This is pretty much in defiance of the lawsuit between the Biden administration and Texas, the federal government wants full access to this park and the ability to actually, remove razor wire as it sees fit. Now all this is happening in Maverick County. We talked to a democratic a candidate for county commissioner Yolanda Ramon, Yolanda is also the former democratic mayor pro tem of Eagle Pass. Yolanda tells us she gives vice president Harris a, quote, negative 30 failing grade as borders are. And Yolanda says most people in this region would praise Republican governor Abbott foreseizing this park?

Under Biden's current policies, even though these millions of illegal border crossers have entered the country unlawfully, all of their future children will become automatic US citizens. As has been laid out by many scholars, this current policy is based on a historical myth and a willful misinterpretation of the law by the open borders advocates. There aren't that many of them around. It's amazing. Who wants this?
Who wants to have prisoners coming into our country? Who wants to have people who are very sick coming into our country? People from mental institutions coming into our country? And come they will, they're coming by the 1,000, by the tens of 1,000. As part of my plan to secure the border on day 1 of my new term in office, I will sign an executive order making clear to federal agencies that under the correct interpretation of the law, going forward, the future children of illegal aliens will not receive automatic US citizenship.
It's things like this that bring millions of people to our country and they enter our country illegally. My policy will choke off a major incentive for continued illegal immigration, deter more migrants from coming, and encourage many of the aliens Joe Biden has unlawfully let into our country to go back to their home countries. They must go back. Nobody could afford this. Nobody could do this.
And even morally, it's so wrong. My order will also end their unfair practice known as birth tourism where 100 of thousands of people from all over the planet squad in hotels for their last few weeks of pregnancy to illegitimately and illegally obtain US citizenship for the child, often to later exploit chain migration to jump the line and get green cards for themselves and their family members. It's a practice that's so horrible and so egregious, but we let it go forward. At least one parent will have to be a citizen or a legal resident in order to qualify. We will secure our borders and we will restore our sovereignty starting on day 1.

Speaker 0: So we called the special session of the Florida legislature in part to focus on immigration enforcement and to assist the Trump administration in this historic effort to finally have enforcement of immigration laws and secure our country once and for all. The legislature did not wanna do it. They said it was premature, but they did come in today and gaveled in on their session on immigration. We had a series of very, very strong proposals while they included some of the things we said, most of the stuff that's really, really gonna be meaningful, was not in the proposal put forward by leaders of the Florida legislature, the Republican leaders. You have to have a requirement that state and local entities actively cooperate with immigration enforcement, federally.
Otherwise, none of this stuff is gonna amount to much. They gutted the interior enforcement provisions that we had, where we're all working in unison. It's not enough to just say we're not a sanctuary state, which we're not. It's not enough to just say we don't have sanctuary cities, which we don't. We need everybody on board.
We gotta work as a team. Otherwise this stuff just isn't gonna work. They also bizarrely strip immigration enforcement power from the governor and give it to the commissioner of agriculture. But agriculture has not exactly been known for immigration enforcement. So it's almost like the fox guarding the hen house.
It was bizarre. I think it was more a soft to folks who want cheap labor. That is totally bad policy. That can't happen. They also bizarrely didn't include things we know needs to happen.
It should be a crime for an illegal alien to register to vote. We've been trying to do this for years. Now's the time to do it. They did not include that in their proposal, which was very disappointing. And then we also need to crack down on illegal alien gangs.
We had very strong provisions to do that. That was not in what the legislative leaders proposed. Now they've named this bill the trump act. But that's a misnomer because president trump's been very strong coming out of the gate on immigration enforcement. He wants to solve this problem once and for all.
The bill they did is more window dressing. It is not going to solve the problem. We're not here for theatrics. We're not here to do messaging bills. The only thing we need to do is to do things that are gonna actually solve the problems for floridians once and for all people.
Florida spoke loud and clear over many election cycles that they want to be strong on illegal immigration. We have so many great potentials to be working collaboratively with the federal government. I've been speaking with folks in the administration, but what the legislature do not only will not allow us to do it, it will actively inhibit some of the things we're already doing. So now's the time to be tough. No squishing out here.

Speaker 1: So there are several planes, that have transported individuals to the base, and they are in the system and the facilities that, you know, a lot of our worst terrorist criminals have been incarcerated for many years. These individuals are the worst of the worst that we pulled off of our streets.

Speaker 1: Murderers, rapists. So when I was there, I was able to watch one of the flights landing and then unload about 15 different of these criminals. Those were mainly child pedophiles, those that were out there trafficking children, trafficking drugs, and were pulled off of our streets and put at this facility. So I'm very thankful that they are off the streets of The United States and that we have safer communities.

Speaker 1: They'll be there until we work with arrangements to take them back to their countries where they belong and have consequences out with them there. So, they will be treated much like, many other individuals in this country that are those dangerous criminals that don't belong here.

Speaker 1: they have due process. Everybody has due process, and every individual has the right for that. And my job is to make sure we're following the law in every single individual that we're bringing into custody and transporting back to their home country.

Speaker 1: Yeah. They followed all the same process they would with anybody else that has come in through these systems that any administration has done it. Every step is being followed and due diligence being done even with these individuals that are so dangerous.

Speaker 1: Well, they're putting up tents that will have the capacity to go up to 30,000 people. That's not stood up yet because a lot of our soldiers, that's got there received orders just days ago. I think they've been putting up facilities for the last five days. So they've got a lot to do yet, but they have the capacity to start taking individuals.
Speaker 0: So when I saw those tents, first thing and I saw the pictures of you in the tent, the cots. Right. First thing I thought is, how are the worst of the worst as you and the president describe it gonna be in those tents? How was that even safe?
Speaker 1: Well, we're following all the same standards and procedures that we've always had with our detention centers, whether they're in The United States and now to be utilized here at Guantanamo Bay. So, those facilities, I think we need to be really transparent about and make sure that people know what they're like, and we're going to be encouraging people to continuously. If you're in this country illegally, you should go home. You should go back to your home country. Don't wait until we have the opportunity to sweep you up because you have overstayed your orders, you have final removal orders, or you've been committing crimes in our communities.

Speaker 1: Hi, Dana. Good morning. Construction is booming in Florida, especially in and around the area of The Villages, as you mentioned, the world's largest growing retirement community. So we joined ICE as they went to this housing development unannounced after they opened an investigation.
Speaker 2: We're talking to everybody out here. Are you a citizen of The US?
Speaker 1: Agents moved from house to house approaching workers. ICE describes the interaction as a consensual and optional conversation since they didn't have a warrant. Agents questioned their legal status, and those who couldn't provide valid immigration documentation were fingerprinted on-site, part of a process to verify identities through a national immigration database. ICE says they opened an investigation after concerns from community members.
Speaker 2: We've received a lot of tip line reporting on the, you know, hiring practices of a lot of companies in the area, and so that's what we're doing today. We're obtaining a lot of license plates, company names to be able to follow-up on a lot of investigations we're gonna launch as a result of today's actions.

People believe it may have been seized yesterday as part of a federal investigation and because of that, it is not here today.
Speaker 0: Tuesday afternoon, people in the South Phoenix area started posting videos on TikTok showing federal agents with HSI and ICE taking workers out of the food truck in handcuffs. And just a mile down the road, the home belonging to the taco shop's owner, Vladimir Angulo, also flooded with federal agents.
