George Stephanopoulos is criticized for defending Bill Clinton against sexual assault allegations while questioning others' support for individuals accused of similar behavior. The transcript highlights Stephanopoulos' role in discrediting Clinton's accusers and his involvement in a smear campaign. The speaker questions Stephanopoulos' double standards and lack of consistency in his approach to sexual assault allegations.

Speaker 0: What a kind, sensitive man who clearly cares deeply about women and their sexual assault allegations. Thanks for being an ally, George. I see how concerned you are that victims might not come forward if they are publicly attacked by their rapist or his defenders. To be sure, that is a very real concern. It happens all the time, which you know because you invented it. Remember? When you created a whole command center designed to smear Bill Clinton's sexual assault and rape accusers so you could elevate him right into the presidency. The attorney representing many of Bill's accusers, and there were many, George, Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Jennifer Flowers, to name just a few, said you and James Carville at Hillary Clinton's direction formed a so called war room whose purpose was, quote, to destroy any woman that would challenge Bill Clinton. You know the war room? They made a whole movie about it. George Stephanopoulos, director of communications. Bush was on the defensive. Another good night for Bill Clinton. Three debates, 3 wins. I guarantee you that if you do this, you'll never work in democratic politics again. Such a tough guy. This attorney points out that you don't like to talk about this particular behavior, George. Maybe that's why you skipped it in your discussion with Nancy Mace. But as you know, private detectives were hired, The women say they were threatened, and they were publicly shamed by you and your well funded team. Did you worry then that this behavior might shame victims from coming forward? You admitted in your own memoir that Hillary Clinton told you about one accuser, quote, we have to destroy her story. Did you object? Did you say, that's shaming. No. In fact, you later described yourself as Bill Clinton's, quote, enabler. But, sir, how could you have enabled and defended a man like this, accused by multiple women of sexual assault, rape, and harassment, which brings us to Paula Jones. You were Clinton's attack dog when Jones came forward claiming Bill Clinton had exposed himself to her, that when he was governor of Arkansas, he summoned her through state troopers to a Little Rock, Arkansas hotel room and took out his penis, a charge Clinton denies just as Trump denies E Jean Carroll's allegations against him. What do you think he wanted done with that thing, George? Just a little show and tell? Jones was poor, a graduate of secretarial school, and worked for the state. She had no power, no connections, and he was the sitting governor. She didn't go to Columbia and Oxford and become a Rhodes Scholar like you, George. She was a nothing to you. Your buddy Carville immediately went after miss Jones infamously saying, if you drag a $100 bill through a trailer park, you never know what you'll find. And you, did you defend Paula Jones saying, we don't shame accusers. That's wrong. No. You compared Jones to Tonya Harding as, quoting here from The New York Times, just another woman seeking cash for telling a tabloid tale. Fire up that war room, George, and destroy her. Bill Clinton would ultimately pay Paula Jones almost $1,000,000 to settle her civil suit against him, and you remained team Clinton all the way, to say nothing of Juanita Broderick's rape allegation or Kathleen Willey's allegations and more. But now you, quote, don't understand how Nancy Mace can support a man found liable for sexual assault of 1 woman 30 years ago in a civil trial in which the burden of proof is just 51% likely. My god. How did anyone at ABC think this was a good line of inquiry for George Stephanopoulos of all people to

The election results are deeply troubling. We now face a Trump administration with significant power, raising concerns for the working class, the elderly, and future generations. Civil rights have regressed, and the 14th Amendment's failure to prevent an insurrection participant from becoming president is alarming. If someone can be president, the stigma against convicted felons in employment should be reconsidered. The healthcare system is at risk, and economic forecasts predict massive debt increases. The election reflects cultural resentment rather than policy issues. Despite the disappointment, there's a commitment to continue fighting for marginalized communities, including LGBTQ individuals, immigrants, and women. Today, we can feel sadness, but the fight for justice will persist.

Speaker 0: Was red. Yeah. Speaker 1: Yeah. It was pretty red last night. I I don't know. I'm profoundly disturbed. I think if you look at the New York Times this morning, the headline was America makes a a perilous choice. I think that in 2016, we didn't know what we would get from, a Trump administration, but we know now. And, we know now that he will have almost unfettered power. And so I worry not about myself, actually. I don't worry about my station in life. I worry about the working class. I worry about my mother, a retired teacher. I worry about our elderly and their social security and their Medicare. I worry about my children's future, especially my daughter who now has less rights than I have. And I remember my father telling me many, many years ago that I was the first person in in his family to enjoy full civil rights. And now I have less civil rights than I had when he told me that. So, again, I'm profoundly disturbed that the 14th amendment of the constitution did not prevent someone who participated in an insurrection from becoming president of the United States. I think that going forward, the convicted felon box, unemployment applications better be taken off. Because if you can be the president of Speaker 0: the United States, then you should then Speaker 1: you should not be prevented from employment in this country. Because I remember applying for my jobs as a federal prosecutor, and there was a box for convicted felons. Speaker 0: Well Speaker 1: And so that box better better be taken off. And I I think our health care system is now at risk. I think, it's Speaker 0: fluoride for anyone. Speaker 1: Yeah. Economists have made clear that, he's going to increase the debt by $7,750,000,000,000. I'm worried about mass deportation and internment camps, and I'm also worried about Elon Musk warning Americans to prepare for temporary hardship. I'm surprised at the results, but I'm not surprised. As a woman of color, I was so hopeful that a mixed race woman married to a Jewish guy could be elected president of this country. Mhmm. And, I think that it had nothing to do with policy. I think this was a referendum of, cultural resentment in this country. Speaker 0: Well, I think it, you know, I'm I'm I think it has to do with a lot of things that being one of them. I'm, I'm obviously very disappointed. I'm I'm very sad. I was at the Kamala Harris, headquarters yesterday in Washington, and it was it was a very sad scene. The mood turned immediately. And, I I tell you, there's, there's a quote I get a lot of inspiration from, and it's got a quote that I read when I was reading about John f Kennedy. And it says, whether I am on the winning or the losing side is not the point with me. It is being on the side where my sympathies lie that matters. And that to me brought me a consolation and inspiration this morning because I have no regrets. Yep. I worked hard as hell to elect the first black Asian woman president. History slipped through our fingers again. I worked hard as hell for Donald Trump not to be president. But today, unlike Donald Trump and his followers, I acknowledge that he won. Mhmm. I hope for the best for our country, and I make a commitment to our LGBTQ, to our immigrants, to our elderly, to our young girls, to the women, that we will not stop fighting. We can be sad today. Yeah. Today, we can be sad.

For years, you and the media have painted Trump as a dictator, comparing him to Hitler and his supporters to Nazis. Now, after his election, you're saying Americans are moving on with their lives? Pam Bondi is a competent choice for her role, despite differing ideological views. Her experience in immigration policy is notable, especially given Florida's aggressive stance on deportation and migrant management. She has implemented various laws affecting students and education funding, making her a formidable figure. This effectiveness poses a greater concern than the potential missteps of someone like Matt Gaetz, despite his questionable moral background. The discussion will also delve into her record on civil rights, LGBTQ rights, and other critical issues relevant to the Department of Justice, which were significant campaign topics this election cycle.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Pam Bonnie is exactly what I was saying in the last segment that we should all fear because she's competent. We may not agree with her ideologically, but she actually knows how to do this job. So if anyone on the Democratic side or anyone who cared about liberty or justice was thinking, well, maybe Matt Gates will screw this up and that'll give us some time. No. Pam Bondi knows what she's doing. She knows what she's doing about immigration. Remember, Florida is one of those states that's been very aggressive about migrants and deportation and moving people to different states and everything else like that. Florida has enacted all sorts of rules and laws to, to curtail students and and what they can do on campuses and and and finding legal justifications for manipulating education money. She is a dangerous and effective pick, and that's frankly worse than what we would have got with Matt Gaetz even with the deplorable moral background that he has. Speaker 1: Yeah. And I wanna discuss that, with a little more depth with both of you, including her record on civil rights, LGBTQ rights, and other issues that are front and center at the DOJ, in which we know were also big campaign issues this cycle.

Video Transcript AI Summary
Linda McMahon's nomination for Education Secretary aims to improve the U.S. education system, which ranks last globally despite high spending per pupil. The goal is to empower states to manage their own schools and promote school choice. By decentralizing education, states like Iowa and Indiana, which are well-managed, could achieve better results comparable to top-performing countries like Denmark and Sweden. The proposal includes breaking down large districts into smaller, more manageable units to enhance efficiency. The current system is costly and ineffective, and with these changes, the U.S. could significantly improve its educational standing.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: And on the education department, why nominate Linda McMahon to be the education department secretary if you're getting covered with the education department? Speaker 1: Because I told Linda, Linda, I hope you do a great job and put yourself out of a job. I want her to put herself out of a job. Education department. So we're ranked number 40 out of 40 schools. Right? We're ranked number one in cost per pupil. So we spend more per pupil than any other country in the world, and we're ranked at the bottom of the list. We're ranked very badly. And what I wanna do is let the states run schools. I believe strongly in school choice. But in addition to that, I want the states to run schools, and I want Linda to put herself out of a job. Speaker 0: So do you want to think that's something that you want to do with an executive order or you can ask them to get out of Congress to Speaker 1: do it? I'd like to be able to look, if I could give the schools back to Iowa and Idaho and Indiana and all these places that run properly. There's many of them, I think. So if you look at the list, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, believe it or not, China's doing very well on that list, a list of well educated, you know, where they run their school system well. You have a lot of countries, not surprising names. I think that if you moved our schools into some of these states that are really well run states, they would be as good as Denmark and Norway and Sweden and some of the other states. And then you'd have the laggards and you know who they are, and I have to go to it. But, you'd have the laggards, the same laggards that are laggards with everything else, including Prime. But even then, you'll break it into systems. As an example, if you went to New York, you go to West Chester County, you go to Dutchess County, you go to Suffolk and Long Island, and Nassau and Long Island, you have maybe six or seven locations, and you have New York City, which would include the five boroughs. And I think even that would run much better than it does right now. Same thing with Los Angeles or California. You'd have Riverside. You'd have you'd break it up into six or seven, but most of them would be states and you'd have one. Like in Iowa, you give it to the state of Iowa, you give it to the state of Indiana, you give it these are really well run states. They don't have debt. They don't have problems. They don't have any crimes, you know, relatively speaking to speak up. And you would have education that would be the equivalent of Norway and Denmark and various other places that are at the top of the list. So we're at the bottom of the list and we're the most expensive. We're at the top of the list when it comes to cost for people. We spend more money per pupil than any other nation in the world, and yet we're rated number 40. The last ratings came out, you saw them. So they they talk about 40 countries. We're rated number 40. And I say that if we did this, we would we would go twenty, thirty notches up. We could do great, and we would have some of the best districts in the world.

Each and every one of us have been in this building and through these doors. But, of course, as soon as we get word that Elon Musk and Donald Trump wanna shut down the Department of Education, suddenly they don't wanna let members of congress in that ask questions. Musk and the Republicans, they say they're supposedly about saving us money, bringing transparency, seeing where the dollars really go. No. They're the ones that lock the doors and make sure that your elected representatives can't even ask questions. We can't ask questions. Speaker 3: That they're responsible for all of the student loans in this country? Speaker 4: They I hear that they wanna cut those student loans and give them Speaker 1: as tax cuts to their Speaker 3: billionaire friends. And are they aware of title one where mothers are getting up going to work for minimum wages, and they cannot afford the education that the billionaires have for their children. And we tried to help them by giving money to this kind of person here and the people who work here, including all of the people in this country and those title one families who need some help, both in urban areas and rural areas and mothers who can't even afford the childcare that they need for their children while they're taking these jobs, making minimum wages. And we're helping them with title one, and this man is blocking the door. He says he's a federal employee. He won't tell us who gave him permission to do this. All he knows is he's gonna stand here and tell the members of congress who are elected, who vote for the funding for all of them in this building and for the student loans and for the title one families. He's gonna tell us that we can't come in and talk with anybody. Speaker 1: Is that right? Does this remind you of Speaker 0: Alright. We are watching what is Speaker 1: an an epic seat. Speaker 0: We have members of congress

President Trump sits for Super Bowl interview with bret baier. https://t.co/H0WCQCVMOR

Video Transcript AI Summary
Happy Super Bowl! It’s an iconic day for the country. My administration is moving quickly; we've made significant changes in border policy, cracked down on crime, addressed fairness in women’s sports, and reformed energy policy. Unlike my previous term, I now have stronger support and a more effective team. A recent lawsuit attempting to restrict Elon Musk’s government efficiency efforts is misguided; we need to tackle fraud, waste, and abuse in agencies like USAID. Tariffs on Canada and Mexico are achieving results in border security and drug interdiction, but more is needed. Making Canada the 51st state is a real possibility to address our trade deficit. While inflation may be a concern, my policies will ultimately lead to a stronger economy. Bringing the country together requires success, and I’m committed to that goal. I predict a Kansas City Super Bowl win! The Trump dance phenomenon is unexpected but shows the enthusiasm surrounding my rallies.

Speaker 0: Welcome to Mar A Lago, the winter White House in Palm Beach, Florida. We're pleased to be joined by the forty fifth and forty seventh president of The United States, Donald J. Trump. Mister President, thanks for having us. Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Happy Super Bowl. Speaker 0: Thank you. You know, you are going to be the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. It's a big day for America, always is. What made you wanna do it? Speaker 1: Well, first of all, I'm very surprised to hear that. I would have assumed many presidents came. But, I think just the spirit of the country, the country's taken on a whole new life. I thought it would be a good thing for the country to have the president be at the game. Speaker 0: It was an Speaker 1: iconic day. It's an iconic day. It's gonna be a great game, two great teams. And, let's see what happens. Speaker 0: You know, it seems the first days of this administration are like a no huddle offense. You know, plays going down the field one after another. There's a long list of things you've already got done in three weeks. Big border policy changes, ice crackdowns on criminals, taking biological men out of women and girls sports, big energy policy changes. So what's different with you and your administration? The difference between the forty fifth president and the forty seventh president. Speaker 1: Well, with the forty fifth, I had tremendous opposition, but I didn't know people, and I didn't have, the kind of support that I needed. I put people in office, some great, some really great ones. But I had some that I wouldn't have put. I would have, you know, known better if it were a couple of years later or if I had a little more experience in DC. I was a New York person, not a DC person. And I had a lot of opposition. I just noticed that I looked on the stage for the recent inauguration, and I'm looking. It's like a who's who of Washington. Well, if you look on the stage for Speaker 0: the first one, it was just the opposite. So some of your your plays have raised some questions and had some pushbacks. 19 states attorneys general filed a lawsuit. And early Saturday, a judge agreed with them to restrict Elon Musk and his government efficiency team, Doge, from accessing Treasury Department payment and data systems. They said there was a risk of irreparable harm. What do you make of that? And does that slow you down on what you wanna do? Speaker 1: No. I disagree with it a %. I think it's crazy. And, we have to solve the efficiency problem. We have to solve the fraud, waste, abuse, all the things that have gone in under the government. You take a look at the USAID, the kind of fraud in there that Speaker 0: we have to make it stop. Speaker 1: Well, we're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars of money that's going to places where it shouldn't be going, where if I read a list, you'd say this is ridiculous, and you've read the same list, and there are many that you haven't even seen. It's crazy. It's a big scam. Now there's some good money, and we can do that through, any one of a number. Speaker 0: I think I'd rather give Speaker 1: it to Marco Rubio over at the state department. Let him take care of the few good ones. So I don't know if it's kickbacks or what's going on, but the people look, I ran on this, and the people want me to find it. And I've had a great help with Elon Musk, who's been terrific. Bottom line, you say you Speaker 0: trust him. Speaker 1: Trust Elon? Oh, he's not gaining anything. In fact, I wonder how he can devote the time to it. He's so into it. But I told him do that. Then I'm gonna tell him very soon, like, maybe in twenty four hours, to go check the Department of Education. He's gonna find the same thing. Then I'm gonna go go to the military. Let's check the military. We're gonna find billions, hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud and abuse, but I campaigned on this, Brett. Speaker 0: You announced, tariffs on Canada and Mexico. You immediately got action from both of them on border security and drug interdiction. A lot of it. Is that good enough? Speaker 1: Is that Speaker 0: good enough? Speaker 1: No. It's not good enough. Speaker 0: So more needed in Speaker 1: thirty days. Something has to happen. It's not sustainable, and I'm changing it. Speaker 0: You know, the prime minister said this weekend to a group of Canadian businessmen, he was at private meeting, he said, that your wish for Canada to be the fifty first state is a, quote, real thing. Is it Speaker 1: a real thing? Yeah. It is. I think Canada would be much better off paying a fifty first state because we lose $200,000,000,000 a year with Canada, and I'm not gonna let that happen. It's too much. Why are we paying $200,000,000,000 a year essentially in subsidy to Canada? Now if they're a fifty first state, I don't mind doing it. Speaker 0: You said the tariff is a beautiful word. There are some signs in the markets, consumer confidence, that they're a little jittery. So if all goes to plan, when do you think families would be able to feel prices going down? Groceries, energy, or are you kind of saying to them, hang on. Inflation may get worse until it gets better. Speaker 1: No. I think we're gonna become a rich look. We're not that rich right now. We owe $36,000,000,000,000 That's because we let all these nations take advantage of us. Same thing, like, 200,000,000,000 with Canada. We owe 300 we have a deficit with Mexico of $350,000,000,000. I'm not gonna do that. I'm not gonna let that happen. Speaker 0: Sports has always been something that Americans rally around. They come together. They really do. You won the popular vote. You won all the swing states. Have you thought about how to try to bring the country together to reach out or to find common ground? Have you thought about that or how that might go? Speaker 1: I'd love to do it. But, I would say this. We have to, come together. But to come together, there's only one thing that's gonna do it, and that's massive success. Success will bring the country together, but it's hard. And I say it's hard. I just signed a bill allowing for women not to have to be punished by men in sports. In other words, men are not gonna be allowed to play in sports against women. It's ridiculous. Speaker 0: You're a sports guy. You're a football fan. Size up these two teams. Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of both teams. They're sort of different. In Philadelphia, you have one of the greatest running backs, Saquon. You know, Saquon had an uncle who's a great fighter, great fighter. And I ran Barkley, his name was. So you have a great running back. You really have a great quarterback? The other team, the quarterback really knows how to win. He's a great, great quarterback. Speaker 0: So game prediction? Speaker 1: I I hate to do it. I just say that I watched this great quarterback who is has, by the way, a phenomenal wife. Okay? She's a Trump fan. She's a MAGA fan. So I happen to love her. Okay? But she's a great person. I I watched her being interviewed. I said, well, it's pretty good. But she's great. And he's great. I guess you have to say that when a quarterback wins as much as he's won, I have to go with Kansas City. I have to go with Kansas City. At the same time, Philadelphia has a fantastic it's gonna be Speaker 0: just a great game. Finally, listen. You are the most recognized person in the world, likely the most imitated person in the world. Every comedian has Donald Trump imitation. Everyone. But now you have UFC fighters winning fights, NFL players doing the Trump dance. Yeah. Did you ever think that was gonna be a thing? Speaker 1: No. I didn't. I mean, we do these rallies. They've always been great, but they got really great. And it's just I don't know what it is. I try and walk off sometimes without dancing, and I can't. I have to dance because it's Speaker 0: just got something special about it. Mister president, thanks for the time. Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Enjoy the game. Speaker 0: You can see the rest of the interview on a host of other topics on special report Monday on Fox News channel. The meantime, we'll send it back to our Fox team in New Orleans after a short break to the kickoff of Super Bowl fifty nine.

I’m excited about the confirmation of Linda McMahon as Secretary of Education, who has launched a "Final Mission" to return education control to the states and eliminate bureaucratic excess. I believe the Department of Education has failed and shifted our educational system to the left, influencing curriculums through grants and accountability measures without direct authority. This indirect control has led to a curriculum that I view as Marxist. It’s time to dismantle this influence completely for the sake of our children’s education.

@WCdispatch_ - Walter Curt

🚨BREAKING: Newly Confirmed Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, within minutes of being confirmed launches "Final Mission" of the Department of Education. "Send it back to The States." In her letter, obtained by Fox, she will be informing all Department of Education Employees that she will be leading this final mission: "Our job is to respect the will of the American people and the President they elected, who has tasked us with accomplishing the elimination of bureaucratic bloat here at the Department of Education—a momentous final mission—quickly and responsibly." Tear it down. This is what I voted for. 🇺🇸

@WCdispatch_ - Walter Curt

🚨WHY is this important? The Department of Education (ED) has failed in its mission, but worse has shifted everything in the educational system to the left. Every curriculum, every research discipline. ED shapes public school curriculums indirectly through a combination of grants, research, and accountability tied to standards, though it lacks the authority to directly write or mandate them due to state control under the 10th Amendment and laws like ESSA (2015). The defenders of the agency claim that means it’s “up to the states,” but that’s a lie. Through grants—such as the $4.35 billion Race to the Top program in 2009–2010—the ED incentivizes states to adopt “college- and career-ready standards” like Common Core, offering hundreds of millions per state (e.g., $700 million for California) to cash-strapped systems, effectively nudging curriculum development toward those benchmarks without mandating them outright; states that opted in (41 plus D.C.) saw publishers and districts align materials accordingly, while annual Title I funds (over $15 billion in 2023) tie compliance to broader academic goals, pressuring states to craft standards and curriculums that deliver (federally) measurable results. On the research front, the ED funds initiatives like the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC), which evaluates educational programs and influences curriculum choices by spotlighting evidence-based practices—districts chasing federal dollars (e.g., $1.6 billion in School Improvement Grants) often pick WWC-endorsed materials to boost test scores, indirectly steering content toward federally vetted approaches. Standards-wise, ESSA requires states to maintain “challenging academic standards” and test annually, with federal oversight ensuring alignment to goals like proficiency rates; while states write their own standards (e.g., Texas’s TEKS or New York’s Next Generation), the ED’s accountability framework—backed by the threat of withheld funds—pushes curriculums to prioritize tested subjects like math and reading, often sidelining others, as seen in those upset about arts cuts since No Child Left Behind’s 2001 focus on metrics. Together, these levers—grants as carrots, research as guidance, and standards as guardrails—shape what lands in classrooms without the ED ever penning a lesson plan, leaving states and districts to build or buy curriculums that fit the federally influenced mold. It must be ripped out. Every single part of it. No more Marxist education for our children. 🇺🇸

@WCdispatch_ - Walter Curt

TLDR: The Department of Education indirectly influences public school curriculums through grants and “standards-based”accountability, leading to a radical left Marxist educational system. 🇺🇸

Speaker 0: Said that they have to do everything they can to keep me from winning, to keep me from making it. And I'm representing you, so I have to make it. I have I have big shoulders, but these are big shoulders. I have to win for you. I'm not winning for myself. I'm winning for you. Do you remember when they said that Donald Trump will never become president of The United States? Remember Barack Hussein Obama said that? Barack Hussein Obama. Donald Trump will never be president. Like, 50 other politicians said that. Where are they now? Oh, let me see. Oh, there they are. Where are they now? But here I am standing before you as the forty fifth and forty seventh president. You heard that a lot. But against all odds, I did great in 2016. '20 '16, how great was And then I did much better in 2020. Sorry. The election was rigged. I probably but it was a rigged election. And then in 2024, I made it too big to rig. I said, we gotta do this again. We gotta do this again. We made it too big to rig. We we made it. That was a great expression. I said, you gotta go and vote. Even though I was leading big in the polls, I said, it doesn't matter. You gotta make it too big to rig. And they They went out and they voted and voted and voted. And we won the whole thing. And it was so good, and it's such a great mandate for our country. That's the important thing. So never let anyone tell you that something is impossible ever, ever, ever. In America, the impossible is what we all do best. There is nothing you cannot do if you are willing to fight for it. You gotta fight, fight, fight. Oh, I've heard that expression. Funny. That's not here. That's not here on the actually, most of what I've said tonight is not on the teleprompter. That's alright. Isn't it nice to have a president that says doesn't need a teleprompter and can sort of can sort of have a little fun? Because I feel that this is home. You know, it's been such a great state for me. I feel it's home. When they said Alabama, I said that has a good ring to me. But, it's something nice about somebody that doesn't need a teleprompter, isn't it? But for the past four years, you've lived in a state known for its fighters, its champions, and its warriors. And you've lived in the great state of Alabama, one of the greatest of them all, from Huntsville to Birmingham, from Montgomery to Mobile, and from right here in Tuscaloosa. To the gleaming shores of the Gulf Of America. That is a nice one. Everybody loves it. I wouldn't say Mexico's thrilled, but you can't have them all. They're not thrilled. You continue the legacy of Alabama legends who blazed the trails, won the games, tilled the fields, forged the steals, built the ships, and gave us the victories that built America and changed the world. The entire world was changed by our victories. This is the state that gave us the might of the iron city, the power of the Saturn five rocket, and the roaring engines of Talladega. Talladega. We love Talladega. We love Talladega. This is the state that gave us nothing but victory, the state of some of the greatest heroes in history like Willie Mays, Jesse Owens, Joe Lewis, your coach Nick Saban, Hank Williams, and many others. Some of you will leave here today and travel the world, but you will always know that this state as this is really sweet home Alabama. Right? It's always gonna be your place. I sort of feel that way myself because from a political standpoint, it's just been we connected from day one. From the first day I set my foot on this beautiful soil, I connected with Alabama. And here in Alabama, we believe that the men and women who built this country are heroes and that America's destiny is to be the single greatest nation on the face of the earth, and we're bringing it back at a speed that nobody thought was possible. We believe in freedom and family, god and country. We cherish our constitution. We revere our bible, and we salute our great American flag. We honor our police, we respect our veterans, and we always stand for our one and only national anthem. We love our we love our national anthem. We believe in strong parents, strong values, strong communities, and very strong borders. And we believe that the United States military is the greatest force for peace and justice the world has ever known. We have a great military. We just had people that didn't know how to lead it. We believe the South is beautiful, Alabama is great, and America is our home. We believe in the SEC and The USA. Graduates of the Alabama class of 2025 standing here before you in this magnificent arena, it is clear to see the next chapter of the American story will not be written by the Harvard Crimson. It will be written by you, the Crimson Tide. True. That's true. That's true. That's true. I thought that was rather clever. If you look at what's going on, you know, they get their $5,000,000,000 a year. That is not gonna be so forthcoming. Now can you wasn't that a clever one, though? How who would think of that? Because this is Alabama, and in Alabama, you fight, fight, fight, and you win, win, win. That's what you know how to do. Congratulations to you all. Congratulations to this great class of champions. God bless you, and God bless America. Thank you all very much. Speaker 1: Alright. That was president Trump. History will not be written by the Harvard Crimson, but by the Crimson Tide. Roll Tide. Anyway, president Trump with a rousing commencement address at the University of Alabama introduced by legendary coach, Nick Saban. He was greeted warmly by a massive crowd, students, families, faculty members. Everyone seemed happy to see him, and the president's working around the clock to make life better, more prosperous, more affordable for every American, and it's safe to say, you know, you won't hear this from the media mob, but you all made the right decision in November. And I need to stop this program right now. And as a public service, I'd be negligent not to stop here and say thank you to every American who went out to vote on November 5 or voted early or voted by mail. Thank you for saving us from four years of what would have been an unmitigated disaster. But if you need another reminder tonight, I present to you Kamala Harris back in action last night and worse than ever, with a late night words out.

She's from a part of the world, the Austria Slovenia thing, which is like immaculate. And she is so neat. Everything's perfect. If I get up, leave bed for a minute, I come back, the bed is made, which is pretty amazing. When you have somebody like this that also has that characteristic, that's a pretty unusual trait. So I'm very happy about it. Speaker 2: Yeah. I like stuff perfect. You know? Speaker 0: Me too. I like I'm very organized. Good. And now when is the wedding? When are gonna get married?

My heart is with every one of my husband's employees who lost a friend and a mentor. I wanna thank the staffers of this his amazing Charlie Kirk show who helped him broadcast from this studio, this Speaker 1: this chair. Every day he loved it. He loved what he did. Speaker 0: I wanna thank the millions of people who have shown their love for Charlie here in Phoenix, across America, and worldwide. I wanna thank my husband's dear friend, vice president Vance, and his phenomenal wife, Usha, for their love and support. You guys honored my husband so well bringing him home. Speaker 1: You both are tremendous. Speaker 0: I wanna thank president Trump and his incredible family for the same. Mister president, my husband loved you, Speaker 1: And he knew that you loved him too. He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well as did he for you. Speaker 0: Two days ago, my husband, Charlie, went to see the face of his savior and his god. Charlie always said that when he was gone, he he wanted to be remembered Speaker 1: for his courage and for his faith. Speaker 0: And one of the final conversations that he had on this earth, my husband witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now and for all eternity, he will stand at his Savior's side wearing the glorious crown of a martyr. Speaker 1: Charlie loved loved life. Speaker 0: He loved his life. He loved America. He loved nature which helped him always bring him closer to God. He loved the Chicago Cubs, and my goodness did he love the Oregon Ducks. Want me to say go Ducks, so I have to since they play on Saturday, so go Ducks. But most of all, Charlie loved his children Speaker 1: and he loved me Speaker 0: with all of his heart, and I knew that. Speaker 1: Every day I knew that. He made sure I knew that every day. Every day he would ask me, how can I serve you better? How can I be a better husband? How can I be a better father? Every day. Every day. He's such a good man. He still is a good man. Speaker 0: He was the perfect father. He was the perfect husband. Charlie always believed that God's design for marriage in the family was absolutely amazing and it is. It is it and it was the greatest joy of his life. And over and over, he would tell all these young people to come and find their future spouse, become wives and husbands and parents and the reason why is because he wanted you all to experience what he had and still has. He wanted everyone to bring heaven into this earth through love and joy that comes from raising a family. It's beautiful. Charlie always said that if he ever ran for office, I know a lot of you asked if he ever was going to, but privately he told me if he ever did run for office that his top priority would be to revive the American family. That Speaker 1: was his priority. Speaker 0: One of Charlie's favorite Bible verses was Ephesians five verse 25. Husbands, love your wives Speaker 1: as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. Speaker 0: My husband laid down his life for me, for our nation, for our children. He showed the ultimate and true covenantal love. I will never ever have the words to describe the loss that I feel in my heart. I honestly have no idea what any of this means. Speaker 1: I know that God does, but I don't. But Charlie baby, I know you do too. I know you do. So does our Lord. Speaker 0: And our world is filled with evil, But our God, Speaker 1: you guys, our God is so good. Speaker 0: So incredibly good. And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good. For those who are called according to his purpose. Already I have seen the worldwide outpouring of love for my husband. I've heard the testimonies from people my husband inspired to get married, to start families, to seek out a relationship with God. It's the most important most important one of all. The evildoers responsible for my husband's assassination have no idea what they have done. They killed Charlie because he preached a message of patriotism, faith, and of God's merciful love. They should all know this. If you thought that my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country and this world. You have no idea. You have no idea the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will echo around the world like a battle cry. To everyone listening tonight across America, the movement my husband built will not die. It won't. I refuse to let that happen. It will not die. All of us will refuse to let that happen. No one will ever forget my husband's name, and I will make sure of it. It will become stronger, bolder, louder, and greater than ever. My husband's mission will not end, not even for a moment. And one of Charlie's greatest talents was his ability, this phenomenal ability to choose great people to follow him. He could always find the ones who could handle any setback. And it's almost like he knew. He just he could see it in you even when you couldn't see it in yourself, he just knew. He knew you could handle it. You thought you only had 5% left and he knew you had 15. He knew you were ready to go that extra mile even when you didn't. He always challenged people around him to work harder and to be better. He never gave up, and I love knowing that one of his of his mottos was never surrender. So I wanna tell you Speaker 1: that Speaker 0: that we'll never surrender. We never will ever. Ever. Our campus tour this fall will continue. There will be even more tours in the years to come. America Fest here in Phoenix this December will go on. It will be greater than ever. The radio and podcast show that he was so proud of Speaker 1: will go on. Speaker 0: And in a world filled with chaos, doubt, and uncertainty, my husband's voice will remain, and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever and his wisdom will endure. My favorite my favorite too, but my husband's favorite word in the English language was earn. He would call all of you to be people of action who earn the future America deserves. So to all of the young people who felt inspired by my husband's faith and hard work, all of you already know what Charlie would want you to do. You know. You know. If you're in high school or if you're in college, go find your local Turning Point USA chapter. Join it. Stay involved. He wants you to make a difference and you can. You can. The movement's not going anywhere, and it will only grow stronger when you join it. There isn't a chapter, can't find one then start one. There is no excuse. You can start one and as my husband used to say in this room every single day if you want to get involved, the best way you can do that is going to tpusa.com. That's what he would say every day from this chair. Every single day. I watched his show every day and he would always say if you want to get involved, go to tpusa.com. If you're a pastor, join our movement at tpusafaith. And if you're a parent, I highly recommend that you come to America Fest in December. Sign up right now for that because we would love to see you. I would love to see you. Charlie would. He'll be there. He'll be there in spirit. Bring your kids, bring your family. But most important of all, if you aren't a member of a church, I beg you to join one, a Bible believing church. Our battle is not simply a political one above all, is spiritual. It is spiritual. The spiritual warfare is palpable. Charlie loved his savior with all of his heart and he wanted every one of you to know him too. He wanted everyone to know that if they confess if they confess the Lord Jesus Christ who rose from the dead, then they will be saved. Hear me when I say this. Nobody is ever too young to know the gospel. Nobody. Nobody is ever too young to get involved with saving this beautiful country. This country my husband loved and still loves. And nobody is ever too old either. There's no age limit. I know my husband is still here. Speaker 1: He's watching over us. Speaker 0: I don't remember the last time I slept. I couldn't sleep last night and Charlie, baby. Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby. I won't. I I promise I'll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen. I promise. Speaker 1: Charlie, I love you. I love you, baby. Speaker 0: Rest in the arms of our Lord as he blankets you with the words I know your heart always strives to hear. Well done, Speaker 1: my good and faithful servant. When I got home last night, Speaker 0: Gigi, our daughter just ran into our my arms. Speaker 1: And I talked to her and she said, mommy, I missed you. I said, missed you too, baby. She goes, where's daddy? What do you tell a three year old? She's three. Speaker 0: I said, baby, daddy loves you so much. Don't you worry. He's on a he's on a work trip with Jesus so he can afford your blueberry budget. And my goodness, am I so humbled to witness, Charlie, you alongside Jesus right now doing what you always wanna do, baby. Making heaven crowded. Right? That's what it's all about. Making heaven crowded. Speaker 1: I can't wait to see you again one day. Speaker 0: Thank you all again who love my husband, who supported him, who wrote him an email every single day during his radio show. He read all of them. All of them. Speaker 1: God bless you all, Speaker 0: and may God bless America.
