School's not teaching you how to think. It's telling you what to think. The school system doesn't reward you when you come up with ideas and think for yourself. It rewards you when you fill in bubbles on a pointless test and get perfect attendance. The world changes every year, but the schools have stayed the same forever. So everything they're teaching is just outdated now, and you can just Google it. I don't wanna be a doctor or a lawyer or something. I just wanna have a ton of money and be financially free. So instead of wasting my time memorizing algebra equations I'll never use and getting straight a's, I learned about investing and starting businesses, so now I'm able to make more money from my iPhone than any college degree would ever make me. And I was able to do this all just by watching YouTube videos and googling stuff, but the system doesn't want you to know this because they want you to go to college and put yourself in debt with a $100,000 loan knowing you know nothing about money. So you can go eat pizza rolls and ramen for 4 years learning about something you have no interest in. So you can go work a job making $50,000 a year and then retire broke. Nowadays, the only reason to go to college would be if your passion requires a degree. But other than that, it's just a waste. Rich people stay rich by never teaching the poor and middle class what they know. The whole system's a trap, and the only way to escape it is by educating yourself.

Rockefeller with his first great act of public charity, the establishment of the University of Chicago. He was aided in this task by Frederick Taylor Gates, a Baptist minister that Rockefeller befriended in 18/89, and who would go on to be John D's most trusted philanthropic advisor. Gates would go on to write a short tract, The Country School of Tomorrow, that laid out the Rockefeller Plan for Education. In our dream, we have limitless resources and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hand. The present educational conventions fade from our minds and, unhampered by tradition, we work our own goodwill upon a grateful and responsive folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or science. We are not to raise up from among them authors, orators, poets or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians, nor will we cherish even the humbler ambition to raise up from among them lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen of whom we now have ample supply. Although Rockefeller's resources weren't exactly limitless, they might as well have been. In 1902, he established the General Education Board to help implement Gates' vision for the country school of tomorrow with a staggering $180,000,000 endowment. The Rockefeller influence on education was felt almost immediately. And it was amplified by help from fellow monopolists of the era who were approaching the topic of philanthropy from the same angle. Although best known as a steel magnate, Andrew Carnegie's fortune started on the railroads transporting Rockefeller's Standard Oil around the country and was greatly magnified by a lucrative investment in property near Oil Creek that provided steady, profitable oil sales. And they then decide that the key to the success of these two operations lay in the an alteration of the teaching of American history. So they approach 4 of the then most prominent teachers of American history in the country, people like Charles and Mary Bird. And their suggestion to them is will they alter the manner in which they present this subject and they get turned down flat. So they then decide that it is necessary for them to do as they say, build our own stable of historians. And and then they approach the Guggenheim Foundation which specializes in fellowships and say, when we find young men in the process of studying for doctorates in the field of American history and we feel that they are, the right caliber, will you grant them fellowships on our say so? And the answer is yes. So under that condition, eventually, they assemble 20. And they take this 20 potential teachers of American history to London, and there they're briefed into what is expected of them when as and if they secure appointments in keeping with the doctorates they will have earned. And, that new that group of 20 historians ultimately becomes a nucleus of the American Historical Association. And then toward the end of the 19 twenties, the endowment grants to the American Historical Association $400,000 for a study of our history in a manner which points to what, can this country be can it look forward to in the future. And, that culminates in a 7 volume study book study. The last volume of which is, of course, an essence of summary of the contents of the other 6. And the essence of the last volume is the future of this country belongs to collectivism administered with characteristic American efficiency.

Because if you went into a public public school, government school in America in the 18 fifties or 18 seventies and 18 thirties, the bible's in there, Prayer's in there. Scripture reading's in there. It's all in there. So it's a modern court that made all those things unconstitutional based on a misreading of the first amendment and freedom of religion versus freedom from religion, and the progressives have exploited that. And then the the process from there to they used patriotism, falsely to sort of get rid of god. And then once they built an allegiance to state and and what that was is they replaced basically the cross in the bible with the flag and a pledge. The original pledge of allegiance was written by a socialist minister, and it did not include under god. The pledge of allegiance originally didn't include under god. Eisenhower added under god in the fifties when we were fighting the godless communists. So you you have a flag and you have a pledge, a pledge of allegiance to the republic. By the way, we're a republic, not a democracy, and our education system pumps democracy down people's throats. And our founders couldn't stand democracy, but that's a whole another a whole another ballgame. The left always changes language. They change language to change to create an alternate reality, to manipulate human beings into whatever utopian scheme of 15 minutes ago they wanna advocate for that increases their power and control. And they saw the government school system as the best entity to do that in, and so they focused and pushed.

Speaker 8: And so they're being forced out of their shacks by smoke bomb and tear gas, hurled by the troops who have been called out by the president of the United States. Speaker 4: I've never seen anything like it. It systematically went down the line, burned up all the tents, all the possessions of the people there. I was thinking of Herbert Hoover when this happened because his election was in 3 months. I thought this would be, would to be the finish of Hoover. Speaker 8: The orders of the president must be obeyed, and the roaring flames sound the death knell to the fantastic bonus arms in the shadow of the beautiful dome of the capital of the United States of America. Speaker 9: The veterans did not believe the country for which they had fought would ignore the plight into which the Depression had placed them. Many did not believe that United States troops would take the field against them. Speaker 1: By early evening, most of the marchers had been driven across a drawbridge that led to their main camp. Speaker 6: The president does not want MacArthur to cross the bridge, And MacArthur disregards the order. Eisenhower later says that he saw this happen. MacArthur says, I cannot bother with pieces of paper doing a military operation. And so he crosses the bridge. Speaker 1: All through the camp were scenes of panic. If the expulsion needed a human face, it came in a person of Joe Angelo whose story was published across the nation. Speaker 11: Joe Angelo gets the distinguished service cross for saving Patton's life on the battlefield. The next morning, Angelo comes to the, burned out field to see Patton. Patton says, take this man away. I don't wanna see this man. Speaker 12: The BEF was broken up. The men returned to some city or other there to roam the streets hopelessly, seeking work or to shuffle in bread lines. There they remain crying examples not of the need for the bonus, but of the need for a new American system.
