Some in the media fail to understand the deep connection conservatives have with Donald Trump. It's not just about his personality; it's about a shared sense of urgency. Drawing from a military analogy, being in a "near ambush" situation is perilous, where staying passive leads to disaster. In such scenarios, the only way to survive is to take immediate action—seek cover, throw grenades, and charge toward the enemy. For years, Republicans have remained passive, hoping for the best while in a dangerous position. Trump represents a shift from that passivity, advocating for a more aggressive approach to confront challenges head-on.

Speaker 0: These walls, some of the press that are covering this, they don't understand the attachment that conservatives and freedom lovers have to Donald Trump, to the former president. They don't get it. They think it's some sort of a misinformation cultish thing, cult of personality. Oh, they love the bravado. That's not what it is. I'll explain why we love them in one military analogy. I was a platoon leader in Iraq. I was an infantry platoon leader in the army. And the one situation you know is the most dangerous situation that you don't want to find your platoon stuck in is what's called a near ambush. You're walking through a neighborhood and you walk into a near ambush, meaning the enemy has has the high ground, they're concealed and you're stuck in what's called the kill zone on the x, and they've got you pinned down. Rifles, grenades, everything. You're right there in the kill zone. You don't want to be there. You're dead if you're in the kill zone for the most part, unless you act. Okay? The battle drill for being in the kill zone of a near ambush is is definitely not crouch down and hope you survive. Because that's never going to happen. Your only option is to immediately seek cover, immediately pop your grenade, throw it, and then charge toward the enemy that you still can't see. That's your only option if you want to survive. This is all metaphorically, of course, for the media out there. Right? Caveat necessary. It's your only hope. Alright? Well, Republicans for decades, for years, have sat in the kill zone and said, just kind of like us. We're okay. We're not that bad. We're okay. We're nice behind our podiums, you know, dressed up like this, you know. Hey, everybody. We're going to cut taxes just a little bit more. It doesn't work. Donald Trump said it's time to throw the grenades in charge at the enemy. That's why.

I've been highlighting the reckless spending of USAID, from funding Moroccan pottery classes to extravagant trips for models during the Ukraine conflict. They've wasted millions on tourism promotions in Lebanon, despite safety warnings, and funneled nearly $1 million into coronavirus research at the Wuhan Institute. Their efforts in Afghanistan to reduce opium cultivation backfired, and over $9 million meant for Syrian aid ended up with terrorists. It's time for accountability and transparency in how taxpayer dollars are spent.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

🧵From funneling tax dollars to risky research in Wuhan to sending Ukrainians to Paris Fashion Week, USAID is one of the worst offenders of waste in Washington… all around the world. 🌎 This is why @POTUS, @DOGE, and @elonmusk are ending the nonsense. 👇

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

Despite the fact that Moroccans have been making pottery for thousands of years, USAID spent more than $2 million for Moroccan pottery classes and promotion. The idea clearly wasn't fully formed, because the translator they hired didn't even speak English.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

USAID spends money like it’s going out of fashion, literally.  Trade assistance to Ukraine paid for models and designers to take trips to New York City, London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and South by Southwest in Austin.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

Vacations were top of mind clearly for USAID. The agency spent $2 million promoting tourism to Lebanon, a nation the State Department warns against traveling to “due to crime, terrorism, civil unrest, kidnapping, unexploded landmines, and the risk of armed conflict.”

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

If you think that is bad, it gets much worse. USAID funneled nearly $1 million into batty research on coronaviruses at China’s infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology, which the CIA admits was the likely source of COVID-19.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

During the height of the war in Afghanistan, USAID spent millions of dollars to help Afghans grow crops instead of opium. The results: opium poppy cultivation across the country nearly doubled, according to the UN.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

USAID asked, “Can you tell me how to get how to get to Sesame Street?” and ended up in Iraq. USAID authorized a whopping $20 million to create a Sesame Street in Iraq.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

USAID has long been a reckless, out-of-control, unaccountable rogue agency.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

More than $9 million of USAID’s “humanitarian aid” intended to feed civilians in Syria ended up in the hands of violent terrorists, including an affiliate of Al Qaeda in Iraq.

@SenJoniErnst - Joni Ernst

USAID has failed to put the American people first and routinely tried to cloak its actions in secrecy. Those days are over. @DOGE is making the agency accountable to taxpayers for every cent of tax dollars being sent overseas to stop the wasteful and dangerous spending.

Doge's government transparency initiative is an accountant's dream. For the first time, we're seeing exactly where our tax dollars are going, and it's shocking. We've always been told what people *wanted* to hear, not necessarily what we *needed* to hear. Now we have the documentation to see the reality. I'm baffled by the lack of public outrage. This is our money, earned through a lifetime of paying taxes. Where our money is being spent is unacceptable. I'm astounded by the misuse of funds. We need to understand where our tax dollars are being allocated.

From an accountant standpoint, I'm like, nobody has ever told us where our tax dollars were going. They told us what we wanted to hear. They didn't necessarily tell us what we needed to hear. And now that we're in this position to where they're telling us what we need to hear and me just viewing the documentation and seeing where this money has been going, I don't understand why people aren't outraged. This is our money. We spend our life paying taxes, and this is where they decide to spend it? We're dead, Carlos.

American tax dollars funded various projects last year, raising questions about their effectiveness. Examples include grants for drag shows in Ecuador, a butterfly study in Germany, and a Sergeant Pepper's exhibit in Brooklyn. Other projects involved a smart toilet study, research on colonial Mexican soundscapes, and a study on seatbelts and helmets in Ghana (despite existing US data). Funding also went to a Yoko Ono art installation, a Napa Valley walking trail, a Hawaiian farmers market, the Metropolitan Opera's fire suppression system, and a study of Parisian butchers' private language. Additionally, taxpayer money supported a climate futurism conference using the parable of the sower and a study on influencing climate change skeptics. Nearly a billion dollars was spent on border facilities, averaging around $500 per person crossing illegally. Ultimately, the question remains: are these the best uses of taxpayer money?
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: 50 different examples and just try to ask the question, is this the best way to be able to spend America's Dollars? And again, we've all got different perspectives and different ideas on it. I'm just asking a question. For instance, last year, the State Department did a grant to Ecuador to host 12 drag shows in Ecuador with American tax dollars. Now, may have different opinions in this room on drag shows. I'm just asking the simple question. Is the best use of American tax dollars to actually fund drag shows in Ecuador with US tax dollars? I don't believe that it is. Last year, we actually did a different funding with through the state department that, was actually done. Actually, this was the National Science Foundation. Excuse me. Strike that. It seems like a state department thing. National Science Foundation last year did a study of butterflies in Europe. So we funded with American taxpayer dollars a butterfly study in Germany where we paid a Swedish scientist to study butterflies in Germany. I'm not real sure why American tax dollars that was the best use of that, but that was one of the grants that was done last year. Last year, there was also a, NEA grant that was done to set up a display in, Brooklyn for the Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band, which by the way is not even an American band. And I'm not sure why we had to pay a federal tax dollars to be able to do that. My simple question is always, why are tax dollars being taken out of Oklahoma to be able to do that? Always popular, we had an almost, well, $350,000 grant to study smart toilets was one of the grants that we actually paid for with our federal tax dollars last year. We also had a grant that was done studying colonial Mexican soundscapes. I'm sure colonial Mexican soundscapes are fascinating, but we paid for a researcher to travel to Mexico and then to be able to write a series about the sounds of colonial Mexico and how they could be used to be able to influence communities. We, last year, did a study on helmets and seat belts in Ghana To be able to study whether seat belts and helmets were effective for saving lives in Ghana. Can I just go and answer that question for free? Seat belts and helmets are a good idea. They save lives. Free. I can go ahead and give you that advice. How do I know that? Because we've already spent millions of dollars in other studies here in The United States. But instead, we spent money in Ghana studying helmets to see if they're actually a good idea there. And amazingly, they discovered, yes, they are. There was also a grant that was done last year. I've got to just walk this one through. This was at the Springfield Museum of Art in Missouri. There was a grant to be on a display, an installation of the exhibit in the museum called Yoko Ono mend piece. Now let me just read this to you. It's a simple white room where shattered cups and saucers are placed on a table, and participants are asked to mend the fragments together using common household items like twine, glue, scissors, and tape, and the resulting works are displayed on nearby shelves as evidence of the power of collective action. Again, I'm not opposed to fixing broken saucers in a public place and displaying them. All I'm asking is why did Oklahomans work overtime last year to pay their tax bill to fund doing the Yoko Ono white room where people fixed broken saucers? I I don't have a good answer for that yet, by the way. I'm still trying to be able to get that. If you like wine country, great. You help pay for it. One of the highest income areas in the world is Napa Valley, California. 1 of the highest income areas in the entire world. The good folks of Oklahoma helped pay for a wine pedestrian trail through Napa Valley because apparently, Napa Valley didn't have enough cash to be able to pay for the eight mile walking trail through wine country, some of the most expensive real estate in the entire world. So the taxpayers in Oklahoma had to pay for that wine country tour trail. If you like traveling to Hawaii, enjoy the trip. When you get there, if you go to a farmers market, you'll find out that you helped pay for that farmers market because the farmers market in Hawaii received $3,400,000 to be able to fund the farmers market. If you go to New York City and pay a very high dollar ticket to get into a private location in the Metropolitan Opera to be able to watch the opera, you will feel safer, I'm sure, when you go to the Metropolitan Opera because almost three quarters of a million dollars was given to the Metropolitan Opera in New York to help them install a new fire suppression system with federal tax dollars. If you like traveling to Paris and you go to a butcher shop in Paris, you may be fascinated to know. Since the thirteenth century, apparently, butchers in Paris have come up with their own private language. It's like a super secret private language among butchers in Paris. Fascinating for the French to study, but unfortunately, the American taxpayers paid for a study of French butchers private language for fear that it is diminishing and fading away. So the American tax dollars paid for this study in France to study the secret language of butchers in Paris. Can't tell you why. You may know the story of the let me see if I can pull this out. The parable of the sower. It's a very famous biblical story, the parable of the sower. Well, this particular version of the parable of the sower was actually a little bit different. What your tax dollars paid for is actually an event that was done to teach climate futurism and to be able to use the parable of the sower from the Bible, but to reteach a new religion called Earthseed using the biblical story of the parable of the sower and talking about humanity's destiny to be able to leave Earth for other planets. It wasn't the writing of the book. It was a conference for teachers to make sure teachers know how to be able to teach this new version of the parable of the sower and about the religion of Earth seed to their kids. That was done with your tax dollars. Not leaving Ghana alone, there was also a study that done in Ghana last year. Not only did one on seat belt studies and helmet studies in Ghana, we also did an interview project that was almost $200,000 in Ghana to interview taxicab drivers and truck drivers to ask them about how difficult driving has become with climate change. If it's harder to drive now in Ghana based on climate change, your tax dollars paid for that. And if you don't like that I'm discussing anything on climate change and you may disagree with that, Well, perfect. Because there was also a fund that was done with your tax dollars in the National Science Foundation to study how to influence people that disagree on the issue of climate change with a study that was done for $400,000 while the study on pluralistic ignorance gaps in climate change and to be able to determine how to speak to people as the study says who are ignorant on climate change and to be able to reeducate them on that. So if you disagree on this issue, we're also studying how to be able to re educate you on this issue. Last year, we also spent $991,000,000 on soft sided facilities, those are called tents, along our border in Mexico. Now best estimates on this, there's about 2,000,000 people illegally across the border last year. So if you run the numbers on it, we spent somewhere around $500 a person on the tent facility they were processed through just to travel across the border. Listen. We've got differences of opinion on lots of issues. I'm respectful of that. I understand that people of Oklahoma don't think like people in other areas of the country. I also understand not everybody in Oklahoma thinks the same way, and I'm respectful of that. But I've yet to find anyone that wants their tax dollars wasted. People literally work overtime to be able to feed their families. They're working two and three jobs. And in April, when they pay their taxes, they want to know when to roads and infrastructure and national security. And what we reveal in Federal Fumbles is, yeah, some of that was done, but also some of it was done because we lacked oversight.

You're about to learn the hidden secret of money and how the banking system truly works. Politicians create deficit spending, which leads to the Treasury issuing bonds, essentially IOUs that become our national debt. Banks buy these bonds, then the Federal Reserve buys them from the banks with counterfeit checks, creating currency out of thin air. Banks then use fractional reserve lending, loaning out most of your deposits while only holding a fraction in reserve, further expanding the currency supply. This system enriches the banks and indebts the public, leading to inflation because more currency causes prices to rise. Taxes are then used to pay interest on these bonds, perpetuating the cycle. The Federal Reserve, a private entity, benefits immensely from this fraud. This system requires ever-increasing debt and will eventually collapse under its own weight. Sharing this knowledge is crucial to building a better future.

Speaker 0: You are about to learn one of the biggest secrets in the history of the world. It's a secret that has huge effects for everyone who lives on this planet. Planet. Most people can feel deep down that something isn't quite right with the world economy, but few know what it is. Gone are the days where a family can survive on just one paycheck. Every day it seems things are more and more out of control, yet only one in a million understand why. You are about to discover the system that is ultimately responsible for most of the inequality in our world today. The powers that be do not want you to know about this as this system is what has kept them at the top of the financial food chain for the last one hundred years. Learning this will change your life because it'll change the choices that you make. If enough people learn it, it'll change the world because it'll change the system. For this is the biggest hidden secret of money. Never in human history have so many been plundered by so few and it's all accomplished through this, the biggest scam in the history of mankind. They say that money doesn't grow on trees but the truth is that the modern banking system creates currency far faster than trees can grow most people don't have a clue how currency is created economists and bank make it sound so complex that people think they can't understand it but I'm going to strip our monetary system down to its essence so that you can see the scam behind the curtain and just how it affects you every modern society creates currency in pretty much the same way but since the US dollar is the majority of the world's currency I'm gonna use The United States as our example. It all starts when some politician says vote for me and I'll make sure the government provides you more free stuff than my opponent will but there's no such thing as a free lunch so to provide that supposedly free stuff the politicians vote for the country to spend more than its income this is called deficit spending to pay for that deficit spending the Treasury borrows currency by issuing a bond So what's a bond? If you think about it a bond is really nothing but a glorified IOU. It's a pretty piece of paper with numbers printed on it that says loan me a trillion dollars today and I promise over a ten year period I'm gonna pay you back that trillion plus interest but what you need to understand is that Treasury bonds are our national debt these glorified IOUs are to be paid back by you and I and our descendants through future taxation therefore when the government issues a bond it steals prosperity out of the future so that it can spend it today the Treasury then holds a bond auction and the world's largest banks show up and compete to buy part of our national debt and make a profit on it by earning interest you'll notice that as we move through this process the big banks are there taking a cut every step of the way this isn't by chance as you'll see shortly then through a shell game called open market operations the banks get to sell some of those bonds to the Federal Reserve at a profit to pay for the bonds the Federal Reserve opens up its big old checkbook and writes bad bogus counterfeit checks that should bounce because they're drawn on an account that always has a zero balance there isn't 1p in there. To quote from the Boston Federal Reserve when you or I write a check there must be sufficient funds in our account to cover that check but when the Federal Reserve writes a check there is no bank deposit on which that check is drawn. When the Federal Reserve writes a check it is creating money. The Fed then hands those checks to the banks and at this point currency springs into existence. The banks then take that currency and buy more bonds at the next Treasury auction. But what is a check? A check is also an IOU. When you write a check you're making a note that says here's my IOU for cash all you have to do is go to the bank and pick it up. Now it's very very important that you understand this process because we're going to come back later and show you the devastating effect this has on you. The treasury issues IOUs, bonds. The banks then buy those IOUs with currency. The Federal Reserve then writes IOUs, checks, and hands them to the banks in exchange for the Treasury's IOUs, the bonds, and currency is created. So what's really happening is the Federal Reserve and the Treasury are just swapping IOUs, using the banks as middlemen, and abracadabra presto currency magically springs into existence. This process repeats and repeats over and over again enriching the banks and in debting the public by raising the national debt. The end result is that there's a buildup of bonds at the Federal Reserve and currency at the Treasury. This process is also where all paper currency comes from. The Federal Reserve and the government mistakenly call it base money because they didn't watch episode one of this series and they don't know the difference between money and currency. But I will correctly refer to it as base currency because it is not money, it is currency and as we've learned there is a big difference. Money has to be a store of value and maintain its purchasing power over long periods of time. We learned in episode one that earlier in our history our paper currency was just a claim check. It was a representation for real money of intrinsic value, the gold and silver was held on deposit at the treasury. You could walk into any bank and slap your currency like say a $20 bill on the counter and redeem it for real money a $20 gold piece. But now this base currency that's piling up back here is really nothing but a receipt or a claim check on an IOU that bond so it's really nothing but a supply of numbers. The treasury then deposits the newly created currency into the various branches of the government and the politicians say hey thanks for that and the government does some deficit spending on public works, social programs, and war. The government employees contractors and soldiers then deposit their pay in the banks. Now this may come as a shock to you but when you deposit your currency with the bank you're not actually depositing it into an account to be safely held in trust for you. Instead you're actually loaning the bank your currency and within certain legal limits they can do with it pretty much anything they please. This includes gambling in the stock market and loaning it out at a profit of course. Now this is where the machine of currency creation really gets cranking because this is where something called fractional reserve lending comes into play. Fractional reserve lending is exactly what it says, the banks are allowed to reserve only a fraction of your deposit and loan the rest out. Although reserve ratios may vary I'm going to use a 10% reserve ratio as our example. If you deposit $100 in your account the bank can legally take $90 of it and loan it out without telling you. The bank must hold $10 of your deposit in reserve just in case you want some of it. These reserves are called vault cash. But why does your bank account still say you have $100 if the bank has stolen $90 of Because the bank left IOUs it created called bank credit in its place. Now I know this sounds crazy but here it is in black and white from the Fed. Commercial banks create checkbook money when they grant a loan simply by adding new deposit dollars in accounts on their books in exchange for a borrower's IOU. These are nothing but numbers that the banks type into their computers and even though these bank credit IOU numbers are very different from base currency numbers because they only exist in computers, they are still currency. So now there is $190 in existence. Now the reason people take out loans from the banks is to buy something they're going to buy a house or a car or something like that so the borrower takes the $90 that the bank loaned to him from your account and he pays the seller of the item but then the seller deposits that currency into his account and his bank loans out 90% of that and leaves bank credit numbers in its place so now there's $271 in existence This process repeats and repeats until under a 10% reserve ratio an initial deposit of just $100 can create up to $1,000 of bank credit all backed by $100 of vault cash just 10% but as I said reserve ratios vary wildly on some deposits it's 10% on others it's 3% and on some forms of deposits reserve requirements are zero the result is that expansion of the currency supply by the banks is far greater than even this example would lead you to believe so once again when currency is deposited in the banks the banks get to lend it out and then it gets redeposited and relent redeposited and relent, redeposited and relent over and over again creating bank credit all the way. This is where the vast majority of our currency supply comes from. In fact 92 to 96% of all currency in existence is created not by the government but here in the banking system. Now massive amounts of currency spewing into society may at first sound like a fun idea that is until you remember one of the most important hidden secrets of money from episode one that the prices of everyday goods and services act as a sponge on an expanding currency supply. The more currency we have, the more prices rise. This is where inflation comes from. The true definition of inflation is an expansion of the currency supply. Rising prices are merely the symptom. So our entire currency supply is nothing but a couple of bucks whipped up in this hocus pocus scam where the treasury and the federal reserve swap glorified IOUs and a bunch of numbers that the banks just type into their computers. That's it. That's our entire currency supply. It's nothing but a supply of numbers. Some of them printed, most of them typed, and is nothing else. But if you thought that was crazy, get ready to enter the twilight zone of modern economics. We work for some of that currency supply. True wealth is your time, but we trade away moments of our lives hour by hour, day by day, and year by year for numbers that somebody printed on pieces of paper or just typed into a computer. Now those numbers represent our blood, sweat, tears, labor, ideas, and talent. We are what gives the currency its value but here comes the really cruel joke, we work hard so that we can save some of that currency so that we can pay the tax collector in The United States known as the IRS they then turn it over to the Treasury so that the Treasury can pay the principal plus interest on that bond that the Federal Reserve bought with a check drawn on an account that has nothing in it. Now let's do a recap on this section because this is where the system begins to rob you and I on a massive scale. Much of our taxes are not used for schools, roads, and public services but to pay interest on bonds that the Federal Reserve bought with a check drawn on an account that has nothing in it. The Federal Reserve is committing fraud but here's one of the biggest secrets of them all: before the establishment of the Federal Reserve there was no need for personal income tax. The Federal Reserve was created in 1913 and that very same year the constitution was amended to allow income tax. Do you really think this was just a coincidence? Ask yourself how much income tax you've paid over your lifetime. Much of it has been silently siphoned away into the hands of those who own the system. Yes, this system has owners. Who they are is an even bigger secret that we'll get to shortly but first we need to understand the mumbo jumbo of the so called debt ceiling. It's all based on a huge paradox. There was interest due on that bond and there was interest due on every one of those loans that the banks made. That means that there is interest due on every dollar in existence. Let me ask you something. If you borrow the very first dollar into existence and that's the only dollar that exists on the planet but you promise to pay it back plus another dollar's worth of interest, where do you get the second dollar to pay the interest? The answer is that you have to borrow that one into existence and promise to pay it back with interest as well so now there are $2 in existence but you owe 4 and so on and so on. The result is there's never enough currency to pay the debt. There is always more debt in the system than there is currency in existence to pay the debt. Therefore the whole system is impossible. It is finite. It will come to an end one day. What would happen if the government stopped borrowing to do deficit spending? Are the payments on those treasury bonds going to stop? What would happen if the public stopped borrowing and going deeper into debt? Are your house and car payments going to stop? No, there is a payment due every month on the principal plus the interest on every dollar in existence and those payments do not stop. If we stop borrowing then no new currency is created to replace the currency that we used to make those payments. Whether you're making a payment on a loan or paying tax to make a payment on a bond the portion of the payment that goes to pay off the principal extinguishes that portion of the debt but the debt also extinguishes the currency. Currency and debt are like matter and antimatter. When they meet they annihilate each other. If we just pay off the principal only on all the loans and bonds that exist the entire currency supply just vanishes so if we don't go deeper into debt every year look what happens the whole thing goes into a deflationary collapse under the weight of those payments politicians and pundits alike talk about balancing the budget paying down the debt, and living within our means. They don't understand that that is deflationary. It is impossible to do under our current monetary system without collapsing the whole economy. This is why any talk of a debt ceiling is not only ridiculous, it's delusional the system is designed to require ever increasing levels of debt just to continue and that's why politicians will always kick the can down the road and raise this so called debt ceiling over and over again until the whole system finally collapses under its own weight. In other words, they don't want it to collapse on their watch. The founding fathers of The United States knew the dangers of central banking and fought to free themselves from this very thing. The Revolutionary War started out as a tax revolt but now we must pay tax just to have a monetary system. Having just suffered through the hyperinflation of the continental dollar which was printed into oblivion to finance the revolutionary war they understood the dangers of fiat currency and debt based monetary systems. So to protect future generations from institutional theft and out of control government they wrote into the constitution that only gold and silver can be money for the simple fact that you can't print them Our current system is not only unconstitutional but it robs us of the liberty and prosperity our forefathers fought and died for. We are all feeling the effects of ignoring the constitution right now by forcing more currency into circulation our purchasing power is diluted inflation is a slow and insidious stealth tax that is simply the result of this debt based monetary system This system empowers and benefits those who create the currency and receive it first as they get to spend it into circulation before it has an effect on the economy. They're stealing purchasing power from you and transferring it to the banks and the government every hour of every day because of this false monetary system and it's not like the people at the top don't know this. To quote the The decrease in purchasing power incurred by the holders of money due to inflation imparts gains to the issuers of money. This is a fraud. It is a pyramid scheme. It is a Ponzi scheme. It's a scam and it's a lie. Our entire monetary system is nothing but a form of legalized theft. But here's the biggest con job of them all. The Federal Reserve is not federal. It has stockholders. There is no federal agency that has stockholders. What's a stockholder? A share of stock represents a percentage of ownership in a corporation. So the stockholders are the owners of that corporation therefore the Federal Reserve is a private corporation with owners and you can see it for yourself if you go to the Federal Reserve's website and it will say the stockholders receive an annual dividend of 6%. Now we know that the stock in the Federal Reserve was originally issued to the largest banks in The United States but because of mergers and acquisitions through the years you can't actually trace who owns the stock in the Federal Reserve that's a very closely guarded secret my guess would be that the owners are those primary dealers the banks that get to make a profit by selling part of our national debt those bonds to the Federal Reserve who buys them with a check for nothing then we pay tax to pay the principal and the interest on those bonds so that the Federal Reserve can pay the banks a 6% dividend don't be alarmed if you don't quite comprehend the deception of this system at first glance very few people do it is purposely complex the economist John Maynard Keynes once wrote by this means government may secretly and unobserved confiscate the wealth of the people and not one man in a million will detect the theft I believe that presented correctly anyone can understand this system regardless of how complex it is so let's do a recap and break it down even more the way the system works is that step one the government creates glorified IOUs. These bonds increase our national debt and put the public on the hook to pay it back. Step two: IOUs are swapped to create currency. The Treasury sells the bonds to the banks the banks then turn around and sell our national debt at a profit to the Federal Reserve which they probably own the Federal Reserve then opens its checkbook that doesn't have a penny in it and buys those IOUs with IOUs that it writes checks on a checking account that has a zero balance then they give those checks to the banks and currency just springs into existence and then the whole process repeats this results in a buildup of bonds at the Fed Reserve and currency at the Treasury which is really just a supply of numbers the Treasury then deposits the numbers in the various branches of the government and we get to step three the government spends the numbers on promises, public works, social programs and war. Then the government employees, contractors and soldiers deposit their pay into the banks and we get to step four where the banks multiply the numbers by magically inventing more IOUs through fractional reserve lending where they steal a portion of everyone's deposit and lend it out that currency gets redeposited and then a portion is stolen again and the process repeats over and over magnifying the currency supply exponentially then we work for some of those numbers which brings us to step five where our numbers are taxed we pay tax to the IRS who then turns our numbers over to the Treasury so the Treasury can pay the principal plus the interest on bonds that were purchased by the Federal Reserve with a check from nothing. Then we get to step six: the debt ceiling delusion. The system is designed to require ever increasing levels of debt and will eventually collapse under its own weight because politicians always kick the can down the road. They don't want it to collapse on their watch. And finally step seven: the secret owners take their cut. The world's largest banks own the Federal Reserve those banks make a profit selling our national debt to the Fed they make a profit when the Fed pays them interest on the reserves held at the Fed and the Fed pays them a 6% dividend on their ownership of the Fed. This system is fundamentally evil it funnels wealth from the working population to the government and the banking sector. It is the cause of the artificial booms and busts of modern economies and it causes great disparity of wealth between the rich and the working class. And it is only possible because we no longer use real money, we use currency. But worst of all, it is a form of enslavement. Bond is the root word of bondage. Whenever a government issues a bond, it is a promise to make us pay tax in the future. Nobody asked you if you wanted to pay tax today for the prosperity we all enjoyed in the last century. Nobody is asking our children if they want to work hard in the future to pay for the prosperity we're enjoying now. George Washington once wrote to James Madison no generation has the right to contract debts greater than can be paid off during the course of its own existence by stealing prosperity from tomorrow so we can spend it today we enslave ourselves and future generations Now this all sounds pretty bad but there is great hope for you are the greatest threat to this false monetary system. This system relies on the public being ignorant of its workings. Please share this knowledge with everyone you know because an informed public that fully understands the system can build a better future for generations to come and now I leave you with this quote widely attributed to a former director of the Bank of England The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banking was conceived in inequity and born in sin. Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them but leave them the power to create money and control credit and with the flick of a pen they will create enough money to buy it back again but if you want to continue as the slaves of bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery let them continue to create money and to control credit this is the Federal Reserve in Washington DC it's located on Constitution Street and that is just as much of a joke as the New York Fed being located on Liberty Street both of them are unconstitutional both of them limit our liberty and they transfer wealth away from us every second of every day to the Federal Reserve, the government, and to the banking sector. You are now among the one in a million who can detect the theft of your prosperity. So the big question is, what can you do about it? One, watch this video until you can describe and teach it to others. Those who understand this system can make preparations for its unavoidable collapse and protect themselves. History shows that those who don't will probably be wiped out. Two, share this video with everyone, especially those you care about. All it takes is a mouse click or two to get this message in front of millions. Post this video on Facebook, tweet it, email it to loved ones, please share it wherever you can. Three, join the conversation. The current world monetary system is based on a 300 year old design meant to enrich a few at the expense of the many. There must be a better way. At hiddensecretsofmoney.com we've created an open source platform for the design and development of a new world monetary system. We're calling on every economist, every student, every college, every bright mind and anyone who cares to join the discussion. In educating ourselves and each other, we can prevent the further loss of our freedoms and maybe, just maybe, win some of them back. Speaker 1: I think your episode four is very beneficial, very helpful. It's gonna introduce these ideas to a lot of people and like I've just been talking about, we have to change people's mind and the more they understand it, the better. And I think we're at this point now where more people in the last several years, four, five years, have thought about the Fed than they ever have in the last the previous ninety five years. So I think, an explanation and diagrams to show it is very helpful because quite frankly, they're not going to get it in their grade school, they're not going to get it in their high schools, they're not going to get it in college unless they're in a very rare circumstance to understand how this works. Speaker 2: You know, for years before I got involved in really studying gold and some of the things I write and talk about today, was a monetary economist for decades. Know in your video you talk about the primary dealers. I was Chief Counsel and Chief Credit Officer, one of the largest primary dealers for ten years. So I had an inside seat on the Treasury market and have the privilege of working with several former Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors, Manly Johnson and David Mullins, going back to the 80s and 90s. I'm very immersed in what you were talking about. I thought it was extremely accurate, extremely clear. I didn't think you were stretching on any points. Was really like something out of a PhD course except that it was very easy to understand. I think it's accessible. I think we're seeing a little bit of a revolution in communications in the following sense. You know, as you point out, the Fed was created in 1913. Well, in 1913 there was no web, there was no YouTube, no Twitter. There was really no one to kind of stand up and oppose the Fed or call them out if you will or really get into a discussion that everyday Americans could follow. That's not true now with social media and everything else. You can reach out to millions and tens of millions of people and tell them what's going on. I think you've done that. You've done it successfully. I applaud it. I think this is a great video. I look forward to seeing it again. I know millions of people will enjoy it. Speaker 3: Well, we know, the Federal Reserve believes it can create money out of thin air, not realize money is supposed to represent real products and services. And what people don't realize is when the Fed does that, in effect as Keynes pointed out, it's a form of taxation. It's a form of confiscation. And because people don't see it, the politicos get away with it, but it also undermines social trust. It just is corrosive throughout society. We're going to have a lot of turmoil in the coming years but it's going to be the kind of turmoil that leads to positive things. So don't despair, get out there and fight because the tide is going to turn. This is going to be the status last stand. Speaker 0: Thank you. I'm gearing up for @DOGE to expose the fraud in Washington. @elonmusk and 'Big Balls' discovered millions of tax dollars wasted on projects in Kosovo, Egypt, and more. The left and media aren't happy about cutting waste; they're more focused on defending government excess and censorship.

@JesseBWatters - Jesse Watters

Get ready — @DOGE is forklifting the fraud out of Washington. @elonmusk and ‘Big Balls” found millions of your tax dollars going towards recycling in Kosovo and Egypt, a women empowerment hub, voter confidence in Libera, voter turnout in India, and “social cohesion” in Mali. The left and the media aren’t taking any of the waste-slashing well. The media’s not defending the taxpayers — they’re defending our bloated government and German censors instead.

Doge is uncovering massive fraud, triggering panic among Democrats who fear their misuse of power will be exposed. We're talking trillions potentially saved by cracking down on fake identities used to steal taxpayer benefits. Remember when Biden hired 87,000 IRS agents and then had the IRS audit Hegseth? Now, we're auditing the auditors, upgrading outdated software. We're also scrutinizing questionable spending like millions on gender equality hubs, strengthening political landscapes in Bangladesh, and voter turnout in India and Liberia. Why are we spending so much money on other countries' elections? While we're cutting headcount and saving money, the media is busy defending the indefensible like Germany's censorship and wasteful government spending. The left is defending the indefensible and the Democrats have become so toxic that Politico is warning them to stay out of the way.

Speaker 0: Even the holiday weekend couldn't slow Doge down. There was a huge exodus over at the National Archives for snickety librarians were getting Doge'd silly. The Dewey Decimal System's next. It was pink slip city at the FDA, Medicare, and Medicaid, and the IRS is on deck. Speaker 1: These are foreign nationals who come into The United States, they use fake Social Security numbers, they use fake identities to steal billions in taxpayer benefits. There's no way to know until Doge gains full access exactly how much money we're talking about. But over a ten year normal budget window, you could be talking about saving over a trillion dollars by clamping down on massive fraud in our tax and entitlement systems, including, again, those carried out by organized fraud and theft rings. Speaker 0: Biden hired 87,000 IRS agents, gave them guns, and were getting ripped off to the tune of a trillion bucks. Because Biden had his sights set on America's real enemy, Pete Hegseth. Right before inauguration day, Biden's IRS audited Pistol Pete. Biden's son's a tax cheat, and he's auditing Hegseth, the incoming defense secretary who doesn't have enough on his plate keeping America safe. So now Elon and Big Balls are going to audit the auditors and upgrade the software because they're using programs from the nineteen sixties. Democrats are hysterical that Elon and Big Balls are opening up the books because they assume Elon will just abuse their power like they did and audit their political enemies. You remember, like, Lois Lerner? And then she fried 24,000 emails so congress couldn't investigate. Democrats leaked Trump's tax returns to Maddow. Maddow's, like, waving them live on TV. That's a felony. And they're worrying about Musk? Democrats are already in prison for doing what they're accusing Musk of. Whose tax returns is he gonna leak? Hunters? He didn't file any. Almost a thousand people have full unmasked access to taxpayer data. 20 of them are student researchers. Basically, interns have access to your tax returns. Democrats don't care. They only care when the guy who has access might find fraud. Like all good detectives, Doge is following the money. Next up on the list, Fort Knox, home to the largest gold reserve in the country, and we go years without sending inspectors in. How much gold does Fort Knox hold? Only one way to find out. This all happening while massive amounts of gold bullion are being flown in from London vaults. It can't all be because judge Janine's going jewelry shopping, can it? Dozers are still sniffing out the bacon. Here's what they found this weekend. 35,000,000 for a gender equality and women empowerment hub, a girl hub where women hang out and pump each other up. Sounds like a sorority. 29,000,000 to strengthen political landscape in Bangladesh. That is so generic. It could be anything. Strengthen the political landscape. It's vague for a reason. Doge says we spent 21,000,000 for voter turnout in India. Now imagine if the Indian government spent $21,000,000 for voter turnout in America, and Trump won. When they do it, it's election interference. When we do it, it's strengthening the political landscape. 1 and a half million for voter confidence in Liberia. What are we doing? Giving pep talks to Africans before they cast ballots? You got this. We got this. It's gonna work this time. Why are we spending so much money on other countries' elections while we're still counting votes in California? Those also found 14,000,000 for social cohesion in Mali. Mali is run by mercenaries and plagued by ancient ethnic warfare. Not to mention landmines, torture, sexual violence, and child marriage. I'm sure that 14,000,000 is just what Mali needs to be socially cohesive. And 2,000,000 to help Kosovo and Egypt recycle. We don't even recycle here. What are we? Just buying them blue bins? We just bombed the bejesus out of Kosovo, and now we're telling them to recycle. A new report says the government's already nearing a trillion dollars in the hole for the year. Democrats should not fight this. Their boys, Bill and Al, were for Doge before Doge was cool. Speaker 2: Mister president, if you wanna know why government doesn't work, look behind you. The answer is at least partly on those forklifts. Is this the way it has to be? Well, the good news is that it doesn't have to be this way. We can cut it dramatically. We can downsize government by 12%, reducing the bureaucracy by 252,000 positions. Speaker 0: Doge is forklifting the fraud out of Washington. So what are Democrats doing? Sheryl Crow says she's selling her Tesla and donating the money to NPR. And RINOs are roaring at Democrats to do something. Speaker 3: So I just like to see somebody wake the hell up and get excited about the fact that your country is under assault. They're bare they're not at the gate anymore. They're in your bedrooms. They're in your living rooms. They're in your businesses. They're got they got your data, dumbass. They got all your stuff. Elon Musk has his tentacles in everything you're doing, not just off of x, but now he's in the treasury department. He's in the labor department. He's in the department of homeland security, and nobody seems to give a damn. So that's all I want somebody to show that they care enough to get off their fat ass and say something about it. Speaker 0: What Steele is saying is the Democrats believe the government's theirs. It's not your government. It's theirs. To them, it's like Doge is auditing the DNC. So this is just another Watergate. They're acting like Trump didn't win the election, and he has no right to run the government. Instead of defending the taxpayers, the media is defending the government. Here's sixty minutes. Speaker 4: People are really scared. I think that, you know, twelve days ago, people knew where their next paycheck was coming from. They knew how they were gonna pay for their kids' daycare, their medical bills, and then all gone overnight. Speaker 2: All gone overnight for Christina Drai and Adam Dubard fired this month in the chaotic shutdown of foreign aid. Speaker 0: They're not looking for competency. They're not looking for if you're good at your job. They're looking for pure loyalty tests. And if you don't give it, you you will be punished. There was no process. Speaker 2: No one explained to them why they were being relieved. Speaker 4: To my knowledge, they received an email. And then if they didn't leave the building, they were escorted out of the building. Speaker 0: These people got generous buyouts. Eight month severance. I'm sorry. But did CVS interview the fired Keystone Pipeline workers? The fired army officers who refused the needle or black Americans who lost their job to migrants? No. That one lady was Samantha Powers' speechwriter. She's no random civil servant. She's the top flack for the USAID chief. Just last week, this same lady told ABC she was pocketing her pride flags. The networks are using the same victim over and over. Speaker 5: Which was in the building. We started we took down our pride flags. We took down I took out any books I felt would be incriminating. No one was talking. We heard they started taking transcripts automatically of all of our Google Meets. We they unplugged the news in the little kitchen galleys. It didn't feel good. And then Saturday, all of the websites went down, and then I lost complete access to my computer. Speaker 0: Sixty Minutes is CBS's premier investigative unit, and they never mentioned the 20,000,000 for Iraqi Sesame Street or sex changes in Guatemala or DEI operas or all the dough spent on failed coups. Never mentioned it. We're 36,000,000,000,000 in debt. We're cutting headcount just like media organizations do to balance their books, just like Clinton and Gore did. Last week, Vance was in Germany and told the chancellor to knock off the censorship and step up their NATO spending. And the American media sided with the Germans and called Vance Hitler. Speaker 6: He was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide, and he met with the head of a political party that has far right views and some historic ties to extreme groups. The context of that was changing the tone of it. And you know that, that the censorship was specifically about the right. No. Speaker 7: I have to disagree with you. Free speech was not used to conduct a genocide. The genocide was conducted by an authoritarian Nazi regime that happened to also be genocidal because they hated Jews and they hated minorities and they hated those that they they had a list of people they hated, but primarily the Jews. There was no free speech in Nazi Germany. There was none. Speaker 0: It was illegal to criticize the Nazi government. It was against the law to tell a joke about Hitler, and he had a dumb mustache and one testicle. Couldn't joke about it. Newspapers were shut down. Books were burned. Radio stations were censored. Free speech didn't trigger the holocaust. CBS's crack research team's too busy editing the Kamala interview to learn that. On the same day, CBS celebrated an armed raid in Germany because a guy posted a cartoon. Speaker 8: It's 06:01 on a Tuesday morning, and we were with state police as they raided this apartment in Northwest Germany. Inside, six armed officers searched the suspect's home, then seized his laptop and cell phone. Prosecutors say those electronics may have been used to commit a crime. The crime, posting a racist cartoon online. And it's a crime to insult them online as well? Yes. If somebody posts something that's not true, and then somebody else reposts it or likes it, are they committing a crime? Speaker 9: In the case of reposting, it is a crime as well because, the reader can't distinguish whether you just invented, this or just reposted it. Speaker 0: Germany is letting migrants into the country who are committing gang rape, and they have cops kicking down doors over a cartoon. CBS is defending Germany, a country who started two world wars that cost millions of lives and who tariff our automobiles quite unfairly, I might add. They're defending a country who boos our national anthem, Canada. Trump renamed the Gulf Of Mexico the Gulf Of America, and the media is defending Mexico. The media is defending the IRS. The media is defending cockamamie spending like millions for Egyptian recycling. Trump has the left defending the indefensible. The Democrats have become so toxic that Politico's warning them to just stay out of the way. Quote, despite this intense daily barrage of negative reporting, Trump's drive to slash the size of the US government remains one of his most popular policies, and there's no sign of it stopping anytime soon. Trump's in the driver's seat, and Democrats are getting lapped.

Speaker 0: I follow-up. In 2017, then Jordan and Trump Speaker 1: go ahead. Speaker 0: I just wanted leave you because you had two questions. Can Speaker 1: you please go ahead? Speaker 0: Mister mister you were speaking about tariff revenue and you also addressed a question about the IRS. President Trump has spoken about replacing income tax with tariff revenue, especially with all this waste, fraud, and abuse that we're seeing cut. Is that a possibility? Speaker 1: Absolutely. And in fact, if you think about the China tariff revenue that we're estimating is coming in from the 10% that we just added plus the de minimis thing that it's between $500,000,000,000 and a trillion dollars over ten years is our estimate. And that's something that is outside of the reductions that markets are seeing through the negotiations up on the hill. And so we expect that the tariff revenue is actually gonna make it much easier for Republicans to pass a bill and that was the president's plan all along. Speaker 0: And then I have a question for Steven Miller about Doge. So you you spoke about Doge. You said roughly $50,000,000,000 is set to be cut in a year of waste, fraud, and abuse by unelected bureaucrats. We're hearing this ironic narrative from the president's critics and the left wing media that Elon Musk is an unelected bureaucrat and he's doing all this terrible stuff, isn't one of Doge's objectives to get get rid of the federal bureaucracy, the the deep state? And also, who was running the White House when Joe Biden was in office? Because I don't know a single person who believes it was Joe Biden. Speaker 2: You're you're tempting me to say some very, harsh things about some of our media friends. The yes. It is true that many of the people in this room for four years failed to cover the fact that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent and was not running the country. It is also true that many people in this room who have used this talking point that Elon is not elected fail to understand how government works. So I'm glad for the opportunity for a brief civics lesson. A president is elected by the whole American people. He's the only official in the entire government that is elected by the entire nation. Right? Judges are appointed. Members of congress are elected at the district or state level, just one man. And the constitution article two has a clause known as the vesting clause, and it says the executive power shall be vested in a president, singular. The whole will of democracy is imbued into the elected president. That president then appoints staff to then impose that democratic will onto the government. The threat to democracy, indeed the existential threat to democracy, is the unelected bureaucracy of lifetime tenured civil servants who believe they answer to no one, who believe they can do whatever they want without consequence, who believe they can set their own agenda no matter what Americans vote for. So Americans vote for radical FBI reform, and FBI agents say they don't wanna change. Or Americans vote for radical reform under energy policies, but EPA bureaucrats say they don't wanna change. Or Americans vote to end DEI, racist DEI policies, and lawyers at the Department of Justice say they don't want to change. What president Trump is doing is he is removing federal bureaucrats who are defying democracy by failing to implement his lawful orders, which are the will of the whole American people. Speaker 1: Thank Speaker 2: you. Thanks, Speaker 0: Steve. I'm glad you're Thank you.

I’m excited to share that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is now addressing media inaccuracies directly from the Pentagon. He released three fact-checks highlighting misleading reports about the Pentagon's activities. First, he clarified that efforts to focus on efficiencies with DOGE are meant to save taxpayer dollars, not distort them. Second, he emphasized that the budget adjustments are not cuts but a shift from the Biden budget to prioritize national security. Lastly, he defended reevaluating the probationary workforce to ensure accountability and eliminate redundancies.

@CollinRugg - Collin Rugg

BREAKING: Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is now issuing filmed fact-checks of the media from the Pentagon. Brilliant. Hegseth issued 3 fact checks, calling out the media for their "bogus" reporting on the Pentagon's recent activities. 1. "The first is DOGE... With DOGE, we're focusing as much as we can on headquarters, and fat, and redundancies, and top-line stuff that allows us to reinvest elsewhere." "We welcome DOGE, and finding those efficiencies is how we save taxpayer dollars. That is a good thing that of course is being distorted through the media..." 2. "The second story in the news is our work reorienting the budget that we inherited..." "The media wants to call these exclusive cuts, but it's the opposite, of course, as always is the case... we are pulling around 8% or $50,000,000,000 from the Biden budget." "We will move away from woke Biden era nonlethal programs, and instead spend that money on President Trump's America first peace through strength priorities for our national budget." 3. "The third and final bogus story that is out there is around our reevaluation of our probationary workforce." "Bottom line, it is simply not in the public interest to retain individuals whose contributions are not mission-critical, and to restore accountability within the federal workforce." "Taxpayers deserve to have us take a really thorough look at our workforce top to bottom, and it will be top to bottom, to see where we can find and eliminate redundancies."

We're committed to transparency, keeping America safe, and using your tax dollars wisely. We're prioritizing President Trump's goals: peace through strength, a warrior ethos, military rebuilding, and deterrence. Don't believe the media; they often distort or get stories wrong. We're focused on our war fighters and building the best military. We're using outside help to find fraud and waste, eliminating non-core Biden initiatives. We are refocusing our budget, moving funds from these initiatives to Trump's priorities. This is reinvestment, not cuts, protecting key programs. Also, we're reevaluating our workforce to retain top performers and eliminate redundancies.

Speaker 0: Greetings once again from the Defense Department. You, the American people, work really hard to support the men and women in uniform who keep our country safe. We, in turn, owe you transparency on what we're doing to accomplish our core mission, which is securing the nation and spending your taxpayer dollars, ours, wisely. We're gonna shoot straight with you. We want you, the American people, the taxpayers, to understand why we're making the decisions that we're making here. First and foremost, as we're executing as quickly as possible the priorities of President Donald Trump, achieving peace through strength, restoring the warrior ethos, rebuilding our military, and reestablishing deterrence. Those are no brainers, and the American people gave a mandate to President Trump, and through him to us, to double down on those priorities, and that's exactly what we're doing. Now, the legacy media has, of course, a different agenda. You see the same clickbait headlines that I do. Time after time, the media distorts good news stories or often just gets them flat wrong. In many cases, well, in most cases, they have an agenda. Other times, they are just lazy, as they often are, and they don't take time to actually understand the facts. I encourage you to take that media, those negative reports about important decisions that we're making at the department with a gigantic grain of salt, please. Ever since I've taken this position, the only thing I care about is doing right by the war fighters, by the troops. In short, we want the biggest, most badass military on the planet, on God's green earth. I'm in this room right now, but I'm not alone. Behind the camera are lots of vets and military family members, along with other people who, like you, are invested in exactly what that core mission is. So when we make decisions that are misreported in the media, we're gonna try to get to you as quickly as possible. And not just me, it'll be other people as well. So you understand the real thought process behind them, and then how they relate to our core mission of fighting and winning war hopefully deterring them, but fighting and winning wars and then how we spend your taxpayer dollars wisely to accomplish that mission. So to that end, we have three stories that have come out. Stay with me. Three stories over the past couple of days that I want to update you on. The first is Doge. They're here, and we're welcoming them. In fact, right over there, about twenty minutes ago, I just met with them. And we're going be incorporating into what we're doing at DOD, everything they're doing to find fraud, waste, and abuse, in the largest discretionary budget in the federal government. They're going to have broad access, obviously with all the safeguards on classification, they know that, many of them are vets, they care just like we do, To find the redundancies and identify the last vestiges of Biden priorities, the DEI, the woke, the climate change BS, that's not core to our mission, and we're gonna get rid of it all. With Doge, we're focusing as much as we can on headquarters and fat and redundancies and top line stuff that allows us to reinvest elsewhere. We welcome Doge, and finding those efficiencies is how we save taxpayer dollars. That is a good thing that of course is being distorted through the media, their hyperventilation, and it just goes entirely unreported for the most part. Now the second story in the news is our work reorienting the budget that we inherited. We inherited that budget one month ago from the Biden administration. We are refocusing, that's a keyword, our existing budget away from the Biden priorities that frankly were all over the map to president Trump's priorities of building a lethal fighting force. The media wants to call these exclusively cuts, but it's the opposite, of course, as always is the case. I've got the memo right here. It's clear as a bell. Now beginning right away, we are pulling around 8% or $50,000,000,000 from the Biden budget. We're planning. This is planning for this year that we will move away from woke Biden era nonlethal programs and instead spend that money on president Trump's America first peace through strength priorities for our national budget. First of all, remember, this is all planning. We're asking the services to plan. So it's not a cut. It's refocusing and reinvesting existing funds into building a force that protects you, the American people. We also list on page two, which I've marked up here in our memo, what is not part of the 8% refocusing of funds. It's stated very clearly here. Southwest border activities, combating transnational criminal organizations, an audit, nuclear modernization, Virginia class submarines, the Golden Dome or Iron Dome, one way attack drones, UAVs, cyber security, core readiness, training, the defense industrial base, and it goes on. They and other key programs are off the table under this program. They're too important, as are many other things. So this is great news for taxpayers and for our national security. That's a full stop. We'll just put a period on that one. And third, and the third and final bogus story that is out there, is around our reevaluation of our probationary workforce. Now this is part of something that was mandated by an executive order from the president. Remember, president Trump was elected. He has the positive the prerogative to to advance executive orders. Our job is to follow them, and we're doing that. This reevaluation of probationary employees is being done across government, not just at the defense department, but we believe in the goals of the program and our leaders are carrying out that review carefully and swiftly. Now bottom line, it is simply not in the public interest to retain individuals whose contributions are not mission critical and to restore accountability within the federal workforce. Taxpayers deserve to have us take a really thorough look at our workforce top to bottom, and it will be top to bottom, to see where we can find and eliminate redundancies. Now common sense would tell us where we should start. Right? We start with poor performers amongst our probationary employees because that is common sense, you want the best and brightest. So when you look at head count, we're gonna be thoughtful, but we're also gonna be aggressive up and down the chain to find the places where we can ensure the best and brightest are promoted based on merit. And then we're going go out and put out a hiring freeze and take more time to identify on a performance based standard who we're going to hire and reward hard working employees who are central to the core war fighting mission. So we're going take a little bit more time, make sure top to bottom we're doing a review, those who we need, who are the best and brightest, are going to stay. Those who are underperformers won't. We'll continue to shoot straight with you. We've got your back. We're motivated to rebuild the most capable military in the world. That's why I'm here. That's what the president has asked me to do. But doing so does require tough decisions, and we are prepared to make them. But in the process, we want to communicate with you directly rather than through the filter of media outlets. And it's not just gonna be me. You're gonna see Sean Parnell and Graham Allen and others here in the department aggressively ensuring you get the real info in real time, helping you understand what's really going on at the department. So our warfighters and taxpayers deserve, of course, no less than that. And we'll, you know, we'll keep reporting back to you from time to time what we're seeing, and we appreciate your support. We're not gonna get everything perfect, but we're gonna do it earnestly. And we're gonna do it on behalf of president Trump's leadership in making our military once again the most lethal, badass fighting force on the planet to keep our country safe. God bless you, and we're gonna keep fighting.

Here's a glimpse at some wasteful spending I've uncovered. We're talking $22 billion from HHS for housing and cars for illegal immigrants, and $45 million for diversity scholarships in Burma. Millions more are going towards initiatives like sedentary migrant inclusion, LGBTQI+ promotion in Lesotho, and indigenous empowerment in Central America. I've also found $8 million allocated to making mice transgender, $32 million for a left-wing propaganda effort in Moldova, and $10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique. There's nearly $2 billion tied to a decarbonization committee, plus millions more for fish monitoring, voter confidence in Liberia, and illegal alien hotel rooms in NYC. Other questionable expenditures include vegan climate action in Zambia, social change in Uganda, public procurement in Serbia, learning outcomes in Asia, and a record-breaking $101 million in DEI contracts at the Department of Education.

Forty Million Dollars to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants. Nobody knows what that is. $8,000,000 to promote LGBTQI plus in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of. $60,000,000 for indigenous peoples and Afro Colombian empowerment in Central America. 60 Million Dollars. 8 Million Dollars for making mice transgender. This is real. $32,000,000 for a left wing propaganda operation in Moldova. Ten Million Dollars for male circumcision in Mozambique, Twenty Million Dollars for the Arab Sesame Street in The Middle East. It's a program. $20,000,000 for a program. $1,900,000,000 to recently created decarbonization of homes committee headed up, and we know she's involved. Just at the last moment, the money was passed over by a woman named Stacey Abrams. Have you ever heard of her? A $3,500,000 consulting contract for lavish fish monitoring. $1,500,000 for voter confidence in Liberia. Fourteen Million Dollars for social cohesion in Mali. Fifty Nine Million Dollars for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City. He's a real estate developer. He's done very well. $250,000 to increase vegan local climate action innovation in Zambia. Two Million for social and behavior change in Uganda. Fourteen Million Dollars for improving public procurement in Serbia. Forty Seven Million Dollars for improving learning outcomes in Asia. Asia is doing very well with learning. You know what we're doing. We should use it ourselves. And $101,000,000 for DEI contracts at the Department of Education. Video Transcript AI Summary
The Department of Defense is terminating over $580 million in contracts and grants that do not align with current priorities. This action aims to redirect funds to better support warfighters. Cancellations include an HR software effort that ran $280 million over budget and took eight years instead of one. Also cut are $360 million in DOD grants, including $6 million for decarbonizing emissions from Navy ships, $5.2 million for diversifying Navy engagement with underrepresented BIPOC students, and $9 million for equitable AI and machine learning models, as opposed to lethal models. Additionally, $30 million in contracts with Gartner and McKinsey for IT purchasing of unused licenses are being terminated. These cuts bring the total to $800 million in wasteful spending canceled in recent weeks.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: We're back with another quick update on our efforts to cut wasteful spending and cut it quickly at the Department of Defense so we get the dollars to the things that the warfighters need. So today, I'm signing a memo directing the termination of over $580,000,000 in DOD contracts and grants that do not match the priorities of this president or this department. In other words, they are not a good use of taxpayer dollars. Ultimately, that's who funds us, and we owe you transparency and making sure we're using it well. So here's quickly what we're canceling today. There's an HR software effort that was supposed to take a year and cost $36,000,000, but instead it's taken eight years and is currently $280,000,000 over budget, not delivering what it was supposed to. So that's 780 percent over budget. We're not doing that anymore. Number two, another batch of DOD grants, $360,000,000 worth this time. Decarbonizing emissions from navy ships, part of the Obama Biden green agenda, that's $6,000,000. 5 point 2 million dollars on something that would diversify and engage the Navy by engaging underrepresented BIPOC students and scholars, another $9,000,000 at a university to approach equitable AI and machine learning models. I need lethal machine learning models, not equitable machine learning models. And number three, in our ongoing effort to cut wasteful spending on external consulting services, $30,000,000 in contracts with Gartner and McKinsey. It's IT purchasing unused licenses. So when you add it all up, $580,000,000 in DOD contracts and grants, Doge is helping us cut today. What does that bring our total number up? Total cuts, running total, $800,000,000 in wasteful spending canceled over the first few weeks as DOD partners with DOGE here to make sure that our warfighters have what they need by cutting the waste, fraud, and abuse. They're working hard. We're working hard with them. We appreciate the work that they're doing, and we have a lot more coming, so stay tuned. If might as well not waste any more time right now. Just sign this thing. How about that? So this makes it official. We're gonna keep going for you guys.

DOGE just confirmed what many suspected - there’s a tremendous amount of waste, fraud, and abuse in our government. Including voter fraud, using illegal immigrants, under Biden. https://t.co/7dRAypSX1j

Video Transcript AI Summary
Doge's revelations allegedly expose significant waste, fraud, and abuse within the US government. Antonio Gracias claims the Biden administration's policies link illegal immigration, voter fraud, and Social Security. He alleges a surge in Social Security numbers being issued to non-citizens, facilitated by administrative offenses at the border and a system that defaults to "max inclusion" for benefits. Concerns are raised about non-citizens registering and voting, potentially impacting elections. The Heritage Foundation estimates a net fiscal deficit of $14-15,000 per unlawful immigrant household annually. Doge's findings also highlight government waste, including the NIH's 700 disparate IT systems and a billion-dollar 10-question survey. There are twice as many active government credit cards as employees, and archaic systems hinder efficiency. $4.7 trillion in government spending is reportedly untraceable due to optional rationale fields. Elon Musk claims that cutting waste, fraud, and abuse could improve government benefits. He alleges Social Security fraud is preventing legitimate recipients from receiving benefits. Doge aims to cut a trillion dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse and improve government services. The speaker emphasizes the need for technological solutions and accountability to address the national debt crisis.

Speaker 0: The last few days of revelation from Doge have given us extremely specific details that confirm what many of us have suspected for a while now. The US government is full of waste, fraud, and abuse. So first, let's talk about the fraud. Today, Antonio Gracias, a self made billionaire and friend of Elon Musk, walked us through exactly how under the Biden administration, illegal immigration, voter fraud, and Social Security are linked. I want you to watch this. Speaker 1: We started at the top of the system mapping the whole system of Social Security to understand where all the fraud was, and there's a lot of great people there that showed us really a lot of waste. And so that came with a big list of stuff they're working on. You've heard some of already. But this is what jumped out at us. When we saw these numbers, we're like, what is this? In '21, you see 270,000 people goes all the way to 2,100,000 in '24. These are noncitizens that are getting Social Security numbers. Speaker 2: Yeah. This this is a mind blowing chart. Speaker 1: Yeah. Just this this literally blew us away. Like, we went there to find fraud, and we found this by accident. This number, what this is, is when you come in the country, if you're illegal, there's a couple ways to come in. You come in through a port of entry, and you can tell them you're afraid. You'll get they'll give you an asylum asylum case. Get an interview, then you get in. That's one way to do it. Another way to do it is to just go to the border. Literally, this happened. I talked to border patrol myself. Elon was there too. I went to Laredo, and I went to Brownsville. Elon went to Eagle Pass. You walk up to a board patrol officer, and you tell them you wanna come in. They have a couple of choices. They could charge you with a misdemeanor or a felony under $13.25, or they can make an administrative offense, like a parking ticket, basically. They were told to do that, make an administrative offense on the last administration. And you go walk across the border, they do what's called a release of your own recognizance, and they give you an NTA, a notice to appear, which to appear to judge. The wait times on judges are like average six years. Look at Guroc, you'll see it on immigration judges. There's only 700 of them. This is 5,500,000 people. Okay? So what happens then? Once you're in the country and you've got asylum through one of these pathways, we map the whole thing out, you can apply for a work document. You file a seven six five. It's the work form. You get this form called the seven six six. That's the authorization. And then Social Security Administration automatically sends you in the mail your Social Security number. No interview. No ID. Speaker 2: This is worth, like, just reiterating. It it it's not that it's not people sometimes think that under the Biden administration that that he was simply asleep at the switch. He wasn't asleep. They weren't asleep at the switch. It it it was a massive large scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of The United States and disenfranchise the the American people and make it a permanent, deep blue, one party state from which there would be no escape. Speaker 1: Look. If I hadn't seen this myself, I'm not sure I believed it. I went through it myself and mapped it. And Elon is right. This is true. The defaults in the system from Social Security to all of the benefit programs have been set to max inclusion, max pay for these people and minimum collection. That's what's happening. We found 1,300,000 of them already on Medicaid as an example. We've gone through On every benefit program we went through, we found groups from this particular group of people, this 5,500,000 people, in those benefit programs. And then what was really, really disturbing us was why. We're asking ourselves why. And so we actually just took a sample and looked at voter registration records, and we found people here registered to vote in this population. Yes. Speaker 2: And who did vote? Speaker 1: And and we found some by sampling that actually did vote, and we have referred them to prosecution at the Homeland Security Investigation Service. Yeah. Speaker 0: Okay. So what does this mean? Let's break down exactly what we were just told. Step one. So you notice that spike on the chart that Antonio had up? That shows that the Biden administration allowed people to enter the country illegally in increased numbers prior to the twenty twenty four election. Whether it was by design or incompetence is a question, but what is not a question is that there were increased numbers of people entering the country illegally prior to that election. Step two, the administration gave many of those illegal immigrants a light slap on the wrist instead of a misdemeanor or a felony. And, effectively, they got to stay here for years without consequence. And the way this works is that those illegal immigrants, rather than being turned away, which would be the ideal thing, or getting charged with a felony, they essentially just got an administrative offense, which is like a parking ticket, and they would just have to show up at a court hearing that might not happen for a long time, maybe even years, because the court system is so overwhelmed. It takes years for the case to be heard. And in the meantime, that illegal immigrant gets to just stay in the country. Step three, them a Social Security number so that they can get Medicaid and other benefits using taxpayer money. And here, the rejoinder is often, oh, well, they don't get full benefits, and they pay taxes. Yeah. Illegal immigrants do pay some taxes. That's a fair point. But it's not as much as they receive in benefits. The Heritage Foundation estimated that the average unlawful immigrant household receives about $25,000 in government benefits and services while only paying about $10,000 in taxes. So that's an annual fiscal deficit of around 14 to $15,000 per household. So now that these people are in the country, step four, remove voter ID requirements at a state level so that citizenship can't be verified. I live in California. I experienced this directly. In fact, funny story, on election day, I literally tried to show my ID and had it refused. I was like, let let's see. Maybe this is just like an Internet thing. Like, you know, surely, I can't I literally cannot not show my ID. Nope. That's exactly what happened. I tried to show my ID and had it refused. And on top of that, we've seen explicit moves to allow noncitizens to vote. In 2021, the New York City Council allowed approximately 800,000 noncitizens, specifically lawful permanent residents, but noncitizens to vote in municipal elections like mayor and city council. They passed a bill that would allow this provided that they had resided in the city for at least thirty days. Now the law never took effect because it was challenged immediately, and it was finally struck down on March twentieth of this year, twenty twenty five. But it shows the Democrats' willingness to extend voting rights to noncitizens. Imagine if he had been in power. Do you think they might have extended that right even further? It's worth contemplating. And then there's the issue of, well, did some noncitizens and, in fact, illegal immigrants vote in the twenty twenty four election? Because according to Antonio, they found outright evidence of illegal immigrants actually voting in that election. He found a significant portion of his Social Security numbers that were given to illegal immigrants also were registered in the voter rolls. A step five is illegal immigrants now vote on a smaller scale in states where voter ID isn't required. And how would voter fraud work? Because, look, I think a lot of time people are saying, it's ridiculous. There weren't millions of illegal immigrants voting. You don't need millions. You don't need a massive amount of voter fraud to swing an election. In the twenty twenty election, two key swing states, Arizona and Georgia, were won by roughly 22,000 votes respectively. That is a tiny amount considering the tens of millions of votes that are cast. So if that had happened at sufficient scale in a few key swing states, step six would have been you just win the election. And with that power that you have over the executive branch and maybe over the legislative branch, you give citizenship to illegal immigrants so that they can vote on a larger scale. And that's what the Biden administration tried to do in 2021 with The US citizenship act. That act would have given illegal immigrants an eight year path to citizenship. So you allow illegal immigrants into the country. You let them stay here longer than they should because you give them a court date that is gonna be years in the future because the judicial system is overrun. You give them benefits. They stay here. You give them citizenship. Guess who they're gonna be loyal to? The same people who let them in. Step eight is now presidential elections are just like California elections, just different shades of blue. And as someone who lives in California and just had to evacuate his home due to the LA fires, I see what happens when your state goes so deep blue that even when disasters happen, you still get to hold on to power. If that sounds conspiratorial to you, so be it. Maybe it's just gross incompetence and a bunch of disconnected events. But here's the thing. Extreme incompetence is indistinguishable from genuine malevolence. And even if you dispute that all of this was planned intentionally, what can't be disputed is that all of this was happening simultaneously. So intentional or not, it is an attack vector that needs to be closed. And anyone who exploited that attack vector at any scale needs to go to prison because it's treason. That's the biggest fraud bombshell. But I mentioned fraud, waste, and abuse. So now let's talk about the waste and the abuse. Because Thursday, Elon and the Doge team did an interview, and they detailed some of the most insane findings from Doge's efforts so far. Here's a compilation of some of the wildest findings. The NIH has nearly 700 different IT systems. Most of them don't talk to each other. Speaker 3: There's 700 different IT systems today at NIH. Speaker 4: Seven hundred different IT systems. Speaker 3: IT software systems. Speaker 2: They don't connect. Speaker 3: They can't speak to Speaker 2: each other. Speaker 4: They say they don't talk to one. Speaker 3: They have 27 different CIOs. And so when you think about making great medical discoveries, you have to connect the data. Speaker 4: Time out. Time out. You said 27 different chief information officers? Speaker 3: Correct. Correct. Speaker 2: Most of them are nontechnical. Speaker 4: So there's a lot there. Speaker 2: So what Speaker 3: saying? There's a lot of opportunity. It will make science better, not worse. Speaker 2: And when I say that our job is tech support, I really mean it. Yeah. We have to fix the computers. If the computers can't talk to each other, you can't get research done. If the computers can't go stay online, people won't receive their social security. So what we have here are a bunch of failing computer systems that are preventing people from receiving their benefits, that are preventing people from preventing research from happening, that are, extremely vulnerable to fraud, and we're fixing it. Speaker 0: Our government spent a billion dollars implementing a 10 question survey. Speaker 2: Literally, 10 question survey that you could do with SurveyMonkey cost about $10,000, was, the government was being charged almost a billion dollars for that. For just the survey? A billion dollars for a for a simple online survey. Do you like the national park? And then there appeared to be no feedback loop for what would be done with that survey. So the survey would just go to nothing. Speaker 0: There are twice as many active credit cards than there are government employees. There's over 5,000,000 government employees and twice as many credit cards. And the process for retiring government employees literally involves processing files in an underground mine. Like, that's how archaic our systems are. And that means that even if you're genuinely trying to lay off many government employees quickly so that you can improve government efficiency, you can only do that at a rate of about 10,000 employees a month due to, I kid you not, limitations on how slow the elevator is that goes up and down into this mine. Crazy. This is on top of earlier findings like finding out that $4,700,000,000,000 of government spending over the last several years that the treasury department has issued is untraceable. We don't even know how that money was spent or why it was spent. Because the field where government's employees are supposed to mark how that money was spent was optional instead of being mandatory. Many of you have either worked in corporate life or maybe you're you still work in the corporate world. I used to be in the corporate world. There was no situation where I was allowed to spend the company's money without it having explicitly detailed rationale in a modern digital system where I could be held accountable. So just think about this from first principles. If the government doesn't have accountability because, first of all, even the president can't fire the majority of government's employees. They have a ton of civil service protections that protects their jobs. Having a government job is one of the most secure jobs you can have in the world, which is great for the employees, but for the people who are paying those employees who, functionally, we are the boss, not only do we not have transparency, we don't have levers of accountability. Because even if things and funds are mismanaged, what can we actually do about it? I mean, the elected representatives are barely accountable to us. What about the unelected public servants? So do I think that majority of government's employees are corrupt? Absolutely not. There's definitely some bad apples, but I think a lot of them are just caught in a system that is not accountable. It's not incentivized to be effective. It's not incentivized to be efficient, and it's just not serving the American people. So it's basically like a company that has been running a multitrillion dollar debt for years, but the company can never shut down. There's never any accountability. It's madness. So what's a high level takeaway here? Right now, we will focus on the government fraud, waste, and abuse. The thesis is that there's enough of that for Doge to be able to reduce government spending by a trillion dollars. Democrats are complaining that this means removing tons of benefits and services that Americans rely on, but it is obvious that there's tremendous amounts of waste in the government. And in fact, as a result, Elon has made the opposite claim, that we can cut a trillion dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse and actually make government benefits and services better. For example, I want you to see what he just said about Social Security fraud stopping people from currently receiving their Social Security benefits. Check this out. Speaker 2: And and they they steal people's Social Security is what happens. Is they they call in, they say, they claim to be a retiree, then they they and they convince the post the social security person on the phone to change the where the where the money is flowing. It it actually goes to some fraudster. This is happening all day every day. And and then and then somebody doesn't receive their Social Security. It's because of of all the the fraud loopholes in the Social Security system. Speaker 4: How do you reassure people that what you all are doing is not gonna affect their benefits? Speaker 2: No. In fact, what what we're doing will help their benefits. Legitimate people, as a result of the work of Doge, will receive more social security, not less. Wanna emphasize that. As a result of the work of Doge, legitimate recipients of social security will receive more money, not less money. Speaker 4: Alright. I wanna Speaker 2: emphasize that point and and and and let the record show that I said this, and the it will be proven out to be true. Speaker 0: There's more than just waste in the government. There's outright fraud. Many people have been victims of identity fraud and have someone who's stolen their Social Security number and identity getting checks that they should be getting. So if we can solve a lot of these problems, we get a better government, not just a smaller one. And don't you guys want a smaller, better government? And on another note, you know, it's very easy to focus on the federal layoffs. And my heart goes out to any federal government employee who has lost their job. Because on a human level, it doesn't matter what all the abstract conceptual reasons are. Losing your job is a scary thing. It's very scary. Now I'll note that less than one percent of the people who were laid off did not receive some sort of severance. Many of those packages were eight months severance, which is actually really generous in the corporate world. So these people are not just having the table flipped over and told, okay. Good luck. But it's still a traumatic experience to lose your job, and I totally get why some people are just emotionally distraught over it. But at the end of the day, the point of the government is not to provide people jobs. The point of the government, among other things, is to create an overall ecosystem where everyone has jobs and their needs met, but not be bigger so that we have more people in government. Like, that's not how we're supposed to be doing this thing. So, yeah, that's what the efficiency effort requires. Like, yes, we do need to be laying people off. If a hundred people are doing a job that one can do, or if we have 700 different IT systems when we could replace them with five. And on a final note here, you know, before Elon entered the picture, it seemed like everyone agreed that there's a ton of waste, fraud, and abuse in the government. And it reminds me, just like before Trump ran for president the first time, everyone agreed that politicians were corrupt and there's a swamp that needed to be drained. But somewhere along the line, people became so fixated on the people who are solving the problem that they seem to miss the enormity of the problems those people are solving. And another thing that's being revealed here is how much of this problem isn't simply a matter of slashing budgets. A lot of it is about outdated software and complicated money trails. So what does that actually mean? A lot of this is actually technological, technical, and coding problems, and that's why Doge is so revolutionary. We've had five major efforts to create government efficiency since 02/2001. In fact, there's a great clip from 2011 of Obama announcing a Doge like effort to bring government efficiency headed by your buddy Joe Biden. So it's no wonder it wasn't so successful. Right? And none of those efforts, none of those five efforts have produced more than $25,000,000,000 of savings. So for all the things that people complain about Doge for, having a bunch of self made billionaires involved and young genius coders involved, those things that they're critiquing are actually Doge's strength. The bureaucrats have not been able to solve this problem for the last twenty five years. Many of these problems can be solved with just better systems. It's not about cutting some money here and cutting some money there. You need to rearchitect these entire systems. So if Elon, the most successful technologist in the world, surrounded by a bunch of other geniuses who have made billions of dollars by delivering billions of dollars of value and solutions to humanity's problems, like one of the cofounders of Airbnb. He's involved. If these people can't solve this problem, who can? Joe Biden? AOC? Bernie Sanders? Who who's gonna solve this problem? Do you trust any of these politicians to solve this problem? So you don't have to like Elon. You don't like to have his approach. You don't like to like the fact that a bunch of 20 year old coders are in the Social Security Administration databases. But if they don't solve the problem, I don't see who else can. So I hope that detractors of Doge and Elon see this, because a lot of the fears that they have about his influence are vague and general, and they're risks that are worth keeping in mind. It's important to have guardrails around anyone, and I understand the concerns, but a lot of these are vague general concerns that fall away when you realize just how wasteful our government is and know the specifics of how they're wasting our money. And you can do your part to help people who are in fear and talking about vague things like oligarchy and fascism just to focus on specifics and ask them, hey. Are any of these things that Doge has uncovered things that you want your money going toward? Any of these things. Okay. So you have general fears about the people. Do you have any specific concerns about the specific problems that they've uncovered? And better yet, do you have an alternative? Do you have a different point person you can point to in the world and say, yeah. They'd be better equipped to solve these problems than Doge. If you don't have a better solution, then stop focusing on the people and start focusing on the bigger problem because we have approaching $37,000,000,000,000 of debt, a consistent $2,000,000,000,000 deficit. We basically have a national credit card that we are running up the balance on, and our interest payments are now over a trillion dollars a year. If we don't get to figure this out, we're gonna be talking about more than layoffs. In fact, we're gonna be talking about more than a recession. We're gonna be talking about a second great depression. So if we don't have great solutions to that, it's time to stop complaining. So if you're watching this, the best thing that you can do as a citizen is share this info with people who don't know. In a vacuum of information, fear is what thrives.
