Since Hillary didn’t want to prove that Trump was right to not say he wouldn’t oppose the results, they had to come up with a plan b to request recounts. Enter Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate. https://t.co/eWnu4AlP2I

Video Transcript AI Summary
We tried to convince the Clinton team to do recounts, but it didn't work. Then, David Jefferson came up with a new idea. He realized that in many states, any candidate can request a recount. We found Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, who agreed to help. Jill has a history of supporting election integrity and had about 1% of the vote. Her willingness to assist was a crucial moment for our efforts.

Speaker 0: We had a number of conversations trying to convince the Clinton people to move ahead with recounts, but it didn't seem like we were ever going to get there. But then we had a new idea, this time from David Jefferson, another election integrity advocate. His idea was his wonderful insight was that actually in many states, any candidate can request a recount. And although you might think we're a 2 party system in the US, there are third parties. In fact, we identified 1 third party, Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, and Jill, we had a conversation with her culminating in a talk on the 22nd where She unbelievably was willing to help. Jill has a long history of, being a champion of election integrity. She was on the ballot in most states. She ended up winning about 1% of the vote, not really all that much, but still enough, and most importantly, she was willing to help. This was an absolutely pivotal moment for the entire effort.

Jill Stein raised over $5 million dollars for the recount that Hillary’s team wanted. Seems like a campaign violation. Also, it’s absolutely incredible how many people care passionately about the integrity of our elections. That’s exactly what we election deniers say. https://t.co/P6666N8IpF

In this video, the speaker discusses the importance of the recounts in the election and the evidence they provide. They mention that a crowdfunding campaign led by Jill Stein and the Green Party raised over $5,000,000 in just two days for the recounts. This amount exceeded the money raised for Stein's entire presidential campaign and involved 160,000 individual donors. The speaker emphasizes the significant number of people who are passionate about the integrity of elections. The video concludes by stating that now that they have the funds and a candidate, they are ready to proceed with the recounts.

Speaker 0: Fortunately, this narrative of is there some kind of secret evidence or not has been very difficult to get around, but I think we're doing our best. And in this talk, we'll show you why the recounts were essential and what evidence the recounts are able to provide vis a vis the election result. So what happened next? On 23rd, the day before Thanksgiving, the same day my Medium post went live, Jill Stein announced that she was going to lead an effort to recount 3 critical states. In just 2 days, A crowdfunding campaign that Jill and the Green Party led raised more than $5,000,000 for the recounts. That's more money than she raised for her entire presidential campaign. A 160,000 individual donors. It's absolutely incredible how many people care passionately about the integrity of our elections. The next question, now we have the money. We have a candidate. We're to recount

1. Election security experts told Hillary she lost. 2. Obama is an election denier who ordered a congressional investigation of 2016. 3. National security told Hillary the election was hacked. The same people who yelled the most secure election in history in 2020. https://t.co/OpdbRJGPql

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker states that the recounts support the correct election outcome, providing assurance that Donald Trump won without doubt. While there is no strong evidence of fraud or cyberattacks, the incomplete counts make verification imperfect. President Obama ordered an investigation into hacking before leaving office, with intelligence agencies agreeing that hacking likely influenced the outcome. Although the speaker can sleep at night, they cannot completely rule out fraud. Another speaker mentions that the recounts further confirm that the election was not hacked, increasing confidence in the election. However, they also discovered that hacking a US presidential election would be even easier than initially believed.

Speaker 0: The recounts support that the, election outcome was correct. That that, you know, we we can I I can sleep at night knowing that Donald Trump won the election and having no doubt? There is not strong evidence that there wasn't fraud or that there wasn't a cyberattack, though, counts were incomplete because there's sort of an imperfect way to do this, you know, to verify. So, Yeah. Like we said, cyberattacks already happened before. We did get a a, congressional investigation out of this. President Obama has ordered an investigation before he leaves Office. And, you know, we got intelligence agencies to agree that, you know, there was hacking that did happen that probably influenced the outcome. But overall, I we can sleep at night, but we can't completely rule out fraud. Speaker 1: So the recounts didn't complete. What I thought at the beginning, as I said in my medium piece, was that, well, the election probably wasn't hacked. What do we learn from the recounts? Well, we learned that It even more probably wasn't hacked. We get additional basis for confidence in the election. But at the same time, along the way, we found that hacking an election in the US for president Would be well even easier than I thought when I began this process.

Republicans claim that I got off easy and that Jim Comey let me off. It's absurd how that's their only response. They refuse to read the indictment or engage with the facts. This is about me, not anyone else. It's disturbing to see them defend this man. They had the opportunity to acknowledge his actions and move on, but they're still defending him. I find it hard to understand their psychology.

Speaker 0: Republicans claim that you got off you did the same thing and got off scot free. Why did your friend, Jim Comey, let you off so easy? Speaker 1: That that's a really good question. I can't figure that one out. You know, I do think it's it's, Odd, let's just say, to the point of being absurd, how that is their only response. You know, they refuse to read the indictment. They refuse to engage With the facts. There's nothing new about that. And what they refuse to admit is, you know, this is on a track about him, Not about anybody else. No matter how much, they try to confuse people and how much they try to, you know, raise extraneous issues. And it's going to be fascinating, I guess, in a bizarre and sad way to watch them spin themselves up. If you watched any of the news programs this weekend. I mean, their efforts to defend this man are truly beyond anything that I ever thought possible In our country, I mean, it is so profoundly disturbing how this could have been the break. This could have been the opportunity to say, you know, thank you so much for everything you've done for us. We really appreciate it, you know. But this is kind of, serious. And so we're not going to, you know, continue to defend you. But no, they're all in again. That's what the psychology of this is so hard for me to fully grasp.

HILLARY CLINTON: “Well, Hitler was duly elected…Trump is telling us what he intends to do.” https://t.co/TxtzBRzy5y

Video Transcript AI Summary
Legitimately elected leaders have been known to undermine democracy by suppressing opposition and the free press. Historical examples, like Hitler's election, demonstrate how leaders with dictatorial tendencies gradually erode democratic institutions. What sets Trump apart is his open declaration of his intentions. He openly communicates his desire to silence dissent and imprison his opponents. This transparency is concerning, as it reveals a willingness to dismantle democratic norms.

And you could see it in countries where, well, Hitler was duly elected. That's right. Right? And so all of a sudden, somebody with Those tendencies, those dictatorial, authoritarian tendencies would be like, Oh, okay, we're gonna shut this down, we're gonna throw these People in jail, and and they didn't usually telegraph that. The speaker acknowledges that the Israeli government and the US are part of the problem. They mention that in 2000, the Israeli government offered a Palestinian state, but it was turned down by Arafat and the PLO. There were also unsuccessful attempts to bring Palestinians and Israelis together during the speaker's time as Secretary of State. The speaker highlights that Israel left Gaza in 2005, but Hamas destroyed the infrastructure left behind and caused harm to Palestinians. They believe it is important to dislodge Hamas and work towards a two-state solution.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Agrees with him. Do you agree that the Israeli government, as well as the US, are part of the problem as well? Speaker 1: Well, I think that the problem predates October 7th. And I think that's what President Obama was talking about because let's remember, this is a very long and complicated history. My husband, with the Israeli government at the time, in 2000, offered a Palestinian state to the Palestinians, at that time, run by Arafat. And the PLO. And the PLO, the Palestinian Liberation Organization, which, by the way, Took out of its charter violence against Israel. So you gotta separate the Palestinians who believe that there is Some future of peace with Hamas, which believes it has to destroy Israel. Those are 2 different organizations, and they have to be viewed in that way. Arafat turned that down. There would have been a Palestinian state now for 23 years if he had not walked away from it. There was another attempt when I was Secretary of State to try to, you know, bring the Palestinians and the Israelis together. That didn't work out. Israel left Gaza in 2005, just and and forcibly ejected 50,000 Israelis who were living in Gaza. They left all of their infrastructure. They had a big infrastructure through greenhouses where they were supplying fruits, vegetables, flowers, etcetera. And, you know, the Palestinians deserved to have A productive, successful economy in Gaza. Hamas came in and basically destroyed all of that and Killed a lot of other Palestinians. So I think when President Obama says that, it requires us to look at the history. And, of course, History holds all of us accountable. And that is a fair statement. But today, we have to look at where we are. And I believe It's imperative, since we've had numerous ceasefires with Hamas, all of which they have violated, to try finally to dislodge Hamas and allow the Palestinians to have other leadership that will actually once again work for a two state solution, which it should be The outcome that we all hold and pray for.

The Clinton plan intelligence referred to information received around the same time as the Australian intelligence. It suggested that one of Mrs. Clinton's foreign policy advisers had a plan to link Donald Trump to the Russians. On August 3, 2016, Director Brennan briefed President Obama, Vice President Biden, Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, and the Attorney General about this intelligence. Director Comey was present during the briefing. However, this information was not provided to the agents working on the case or to the secret FISA Court.

That intelligence in included information that there was a, purported plan, designed by, one of missus Clinton's foreign policy advisers, to create a scandal tying Donald Trump, to the Russians. That's the essence of the intelligence as contained in the, declassified information. Speaker 0: Did the president receive this intelligence? Speaker 1: On August 3, 2016, then director Brennan had briefed the president, vice president, director of national intelligence, the FBI, the attorney general, and others. She's now saying she will, quote, forever regret it in a column in Time Magazine. It took more than a year for Donna Brazil to admit this. CNN ended up cutting ties with Donna Brazil while she was serving as the interim head of the DNC. Tammy, why a year later? You know, it's Speaker 1: fascinating because she's still kind of mincing the words here. She said sending debate topics over when the issue was sending direct questions over to her, the specificity of what was happening. Ahead. Speaker 0: Before the debate. Before the debate. CNN. Speaker 1: I mean, we knew what the Speaker 0: topics were going Speaker 1: to be. That each debate had a general, idea of, you know, of of an approach of what the topics would be. So the topics are not a big deal necessarily, but the nature of the questions and what was coming gonna come from the audience, etcetera. And I think that there's a point where she's now that there's new DNC heads, that she's finding that that kind of behavior, and with her candidate having lost, that it's catching up with her a little bit and she's trying to clean up a little bit. Speaker 0: Eric, weigh in here. What are your thoughts? Speaker 2: You know, I'd look, she's got an ethical obligation. I mean, she was certainly a contributor to CNN. There's supposed to be some kind of firewall. There wasn't. And then to wait a year. And I think that, Tammy's right. I think that there's a gonna be a much higher bar. I think that there she's hurt herself for a long time to come over that. And certainly with the CNN and certainly with other networks, bad move, crossed the line. Speaker 1: Especially with Hillary losing. The fact that they thought they could really do whatever they wanted because they expected Hillary to win. When she didn't, suddenly the real world Speaker 0: Yeah. Speaker 2: For all Speaker 1: of us reenters this picture. No longer is it gonna be their bubble. Now they've got to face reality. Speaker 0: We're undergoing a soft coup, and the idea is to create a whole new set of laws and ignore the existing human rights laws and other laws under the pretext of pandemic preparedness and the biosecurity agenda. The WHO is developing through all its nations, but with the WHO director in the United States in charge, a pandemic treaty and amendments to the existing international health regulations that will remove the human rights protections currently, embedded in the IHRs, will enforce surveillance, censorship, if they can make this work to vaccines developed in a 100 days, which the organization CEPI is planning to do. And one of the people who founded CEPI was Jeremy Farrar, who is now the chief scientist at the WHO to bring this forward. Other things that the amendments do is to bind the states so they have no longer recommendations, but enforceable edicts. Provide a liability shield, get rid of intellectual property rights, move supplies from one country to another, enforce digital passports, and the director general of who can demand that a pandemic or a potential pandemic exists. He can just declare it with no standards, and then countries around the world will have to obey. Also, the WHO will tell you what drugs you can and can't use in your nation once a pandemic is declared. Obviously, the budget will increase. One Health is another part of this. The outcome of this election is not what we wanted, not what we fought for, not what we voted for. But hear me when I say hear me when I say the light of America's promise will always burn bright as long as we never give up and as long as we keep fighting. To my beloved DOUG and our family, I love you so very much. To president Biden and doctor Biden, thank you for your faith and support. To governor Walz and the Walz family, I know your service to our nation will continue. And to my extraordinary team, to the volunteers who gave so much of themselves, to the poll workers and the local election officials, I thank you. I thank you all. Look. I am so proud of the race we ran and the way we ran it and the way we ran it over the 107 days of this campaign, we have been intentional about building community and building coalitions, bringing people together from every walk of life and background united by love of country with enthusiasm and joy in our fight for America's future. And we did it with the knowledge that we all have so much more in common than what separates us. Now I know folks are feeling and experiencing a range of emotions right now. I get it, but we must accept the results of this election. Earlier today, I spoke with president-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power. A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results. That principle, as much as any other, distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny, and anyone who seeks the public trust must honor it. At the same time, in our nation, we owe loyalty not to a president or a party, but to the constitution of the United States and loyalty to our conscience and to our god. My allegiance to all 3 is why I am here to say, while I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign. The fight the fight for freedom, for opportunity, for fairness, and the dignity of all people, a fight for the ideals at the heart of our nation. The ideals that reflect America at our best. That is a fight I will never give up. I will never give up the fight for a future where Americans can pursue their dreams, ambitions, and aspirations, where the women of America have the freedom to make decisions about their own body and not have their government telling them what to do. We will never give up the fight to protect our schools and our streets from gun violence. And America, we will never give up the fight for our democracy, for the rule of law, for equal justice, and for the sacred idea that every one of us, no matter who we are or where we start out, has certain fundamental rights and freedoms that must be respected and upheld. And we will continue to wage this fight in the voting booth, in the courts, and in the public square. And we will also wage it in quieter ways in how we live our lives by treating one another with kindness and respect, by looking in the face of a stranger and seeing a neighbor, by always using our strength to lift people up, to fight for the dignity that all people deserve. The fight for our freedom will take hard work, but like I always say, we like hard work. Hard work is good work. Hard work can be joyful work, and the fight for our country is always worth it. It is always worth it. To the young people who are watching, it is I love you. To the young people who are watching, it is okay to to feel sad and disappointed, but please know it's gonna be okay. On the campaign, I would often say, when we fight, we win. But here's the thing here's the thing. Sometimes the fight takes a while. That doesn't mean we won't win. That doesn't mean we won't win. The important thing is don't ever give up. Don't ever give up. Don't ever stop trying to make the world a better place. You have power. You have power. And don't you ever listen when anyone tells you something is impossible because it has never been done before. You have the capacity to do extraordinary good in the world. And so to everyone who is watching, do not despair. This is not a time to throw up our hands. This is the time to roll up our sleeves. This is a time to organize, to mobilize, and to stay engaged for the sake of freedom and justice and the future that we all know we can build together. Look. Many of you know I started out as a prosecutor, and throughout my career, I saw people at some of the worst times in their lives, people who had suffered great harm and great pain, and yet found within themselves the strength and the courage and the resolve to take the stand, to take a stand, to fight for justice, to fight for themselves, to fight for others. So let their courage be our inspiration. Let their determination be our charge. And I'll close with this. There's an adage an historian once called a law of history, true of every society across the ages. The adage is only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time, But for the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case. But here's the thing. America, if it is, let us fill the sky with the light of a brilliant, brilliant,000,000,000 of stars. The light the light of optimism, of faith, of truth, and service. Yeah. Ain't you? And may that work guide us even in the face of setbacks toward the extraordinary promise of the United States of America. I thank you all. I am so proud of the race we ran and the way we ran it and the way we ran it over the 107 days of this campaign, we have been intentional about building community and building coalitions, bringing people together from every walk of life and background, united by love of country with enthusiasm and joy in our fight for America's future. And we did it with the knowledge that we all have so much more in common than what separates us. Yeah. Now I know folks are feeling and experiencing a range of emotions right now. I get it. But we must accept the results of this election. Earlier today, I spoke with president-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition, and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power. A fundamental principle of American democracy is that when we lose an election, we accept the results. That principle, as much as any other, distinguishes democracy from monarchy or tyranny. Yes. And anyone who seeks the public trust must honor it. At the same time, in our nation, we owe loyalty not to a president or a party, but to the constitution of the United States, and loyalty to our conscience and to our God. My allegiance to all 3 is why I am here to say, while I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign. The fight the fight for freedom, for opportunity, for fairness, and the dignity of all people. A fight for the ideals at the heart of our nation. Yeah. Hard work can be joyful work. And the fight for our country is always worth it. It is always worth it. To the young people who are watching, Speaker 0: it is Speaker 1: I love you. To the young people who are watching, it is okay to feel sad and disappointed. But please know it's gonna be okay. On the campaign, I would often say, when we fight, we win. But here's the thing. Here's the thing. Sometimes, the fight takes a while. This is a time to roll up our sleeves. This is a time to organize, to mobilize, and to stay engaged for the sake of freedom and justice and the future that we all know we can build together. Look. Many of you know I started out as a prosecutor, and throughout my career, I saw people at some of the worst times in their lives. People who had suffered great harm and great pain. And yet found within themselves the strength and the courage and the resolve to take the stand, to take a stand, to fight for justice, to fight for themselves, to fight for others. So let their courage be our inspiration. Let their determination be our charge. And I'll close with this. There's an adage an historian once called a law of history. True of every society across the ages. The adage is only when it is dark enough can you see the stars. I know many people feel like we are entering a dark time. But for the benefit of us all, I hope that is not the case. But here's the thing. America, if it is, let us fill the sky with the light of a brilliant, brilliant,000,000,000 of stars. The light the light of optimism, of faith, of truth, and service. And may that work guide us even in the face of setbacks toward the extraordinary promise of the United States of America. I thank you all. May god bless you, and may god bless the United States of America. I thank you all. Speaker 2: Vice President Kamala Harris in a concession speech in which she said the light of America's promise will always burn bright as long as we keep fighting.

And as we develop that strength, being able to assess our risk tolerance. So overall, the more we understand what's effective, what the risks are, and who's ready to participate, the more impact we can have.
