The new J6 tapes confirm to me that the FBI/DOJ must be defunded. Why aren’t the FBI/DOJ going after groups like Antifa and individuals who are blowing up pro-life centers? Talk about two-tier justice.

Video Transcript AI Summary
There were violent and rambunctious individuals who were overcharged and over sentenced. However, there is a lack of action against Antifa and those who attacked life clinics. They have even tried to infiltrate the Catholic church and targeted parents. One specific case involves a 70-year-old man with no criminal history who was charged with obstructing a congressional proceeding. He faces a 14-year prison sentence for this bogus charge.

They were overcharged, but and that's the disparate treatment that we have there. Then you have others, this 1,000 people that Graves said he wants to go after. That's ridiculous. They're not going after Antifa. They're not going after people who blew up an attack, you know, probe, life clinics. I mean, this is they they've they've tried to infiltrate the Catholic church. They've they've, gone after parents, and yet, we have people like the one case that I was I was particularly interested in, a 70 year old man, this, a 70 year old man, no prior criminal history whatsoever. He's not convicted of anything, not even trespass, but he gets this bogus Charge, was not designed to do it, of obstructing a congressional, proceeding. He wants 14 years in prison for that guy. Video Transcript AI Summary
Journalist Owen Shroyer has been sentenced to 2 months in jail for his involvement in the January 6 events. Despite not entering the Capitol or causing any harm, he is being punished. While I don't follow him closely, I believe journalists should be able to report without being imprisoned for their work. Shroyer was reporting on January 6, and it seems his reporting may have been closer to the truth than mainstream media outlets. The Department of Justice's actions against him reflect a concerning trend, reminiscent of Banana Republics. I fear we are losing our republic and becoming one ourselves. And so he didn't enter the Capitol. He didn't break anything. It didn't hurt anybody. And yet he's going to jail. What can you tell us about this guy? Speaker 1: I don't really follow him. I've seen maybe a couple clips over time, but I believe that journalists Should be able to report. And you may like what they do or dislike what they do, but they shouldn't be locked up for their reporting. And he was reporting on January 6th. Something tells me he was probably a lot closer to the truth than, you know, the MSNBC and CNN reporters. And that scared the Department of Justice Enough that they they, sick they, you know, they sent their their attack dogs to him. And now he's gonna be sitting behind bars for 60 days For doing his job, which was reporting the news, this is the kind of stuff you see in Banana Republics. I say that a lot about many of the things that we're witnessing right now, Greg, At which I'm really of the belief that we are losing our republic and becoming a banana republic. Speaker 0: Incident where ended protesters forced themselves into a federal government building right here in DC. Like, you didn't hear about this at all. Speaker 1: This particular example, it doesn't mean the Justice Department doesn't know about it, but I personally haven't heard about it before, what you're saying right now. But I want to be clear, we don't care whether the violence comes from the Left or from the right or from the middle or from up or from down. We will prosecute violations of the law according to the statutes and facts that we have. This is a nonpartisan determination of how to do that. Alright. Speaker 0: I'll make it a little clear for you. And we're all most of us are lawyers here, so we use evidence in court. So you got 2 pictures here. One picture is from January 6th, Department. Of individuals forcing themselves into the Capitol. This other picture is extremists forcing themselves into the Interior Department. So looking at these pictures, and I know you say you're not aware of this, which blows my mind that you're not aware of, violent of forcing their way into a department right here in Washington D. C. Into a Federal building. But just with these evidence, with these 2 pictures that you see here of people forcing themselves into of Federal building, would you call both of both of these acts domestic terrorism? Speaker 1: Look, I'm not going to comment about particular matters. This is a matter that You do it. Speaker 0: You are on a particular I'm asking you to comment on these 2 photos. You have 2 pictures of individuals forcing themselves into a government building right here in Washington, D. C. And one, you very, as I laid out, very welcomely call them domestic terrorists, but you're refusing to call groups like this, Who commit the same atrocities here in Washington D. C, domestic terrorists. Speaker 1: One I know the facts of, the other I don't know the facts of. Speaker 0: Well, I'm tell I'm showing you picture. Here's facts right here. If if you want it, we'll we'll act like we're in a courtroom. Exhibit A, exhibit B. January 6, Department of Interior. Speaker 1: As you know Speaker 0: Based on these pictures of people forcing themselves into the Speaker 1: One picture, it's not gonna be a I'm not gonna be able to resolve a legal determination based on one picture. In the January 6th case, we have terabytes of video which disclose exactly what happened. Speaker 0: But Speaker Pelosi, mind He still hasn't released to the American public to view all that video that has been captured here in Washington and in the capital complex. But that's the problem that of Americans are facing right now is they see these type of comments that you've made about January 6th. Yet you're completely and you're not answering my question now, and you're You're saying, well, that's an ongoing investigation and I don't know about it. But clearly based on the pictures, clearly what has occurred, factually what's been widely reported And all sorts of different American outlets that these individuals force themselves into a building here in the Department of Interior, and you're refusing right here today before the American people to say, Yes. That's the same type of activity that I'm gonna bring the full force of, the Department of Justice to to come against, Regardless of the ideology which you have said in the past, but you're refusing to do that today. And that's the problem with the the challenges that your that this administration, your department is Everything is everyday Americans who are seeing this on TV, and now you have the opportunity to set the record straight and say both of those actions, regardless of ideology, Are against federal law and will be prosecute prosecuted with the full faith And credit of the Department of Justice, and you're refusing to do that. Kamala Harris’s DOJ just dropped all charges against the leftist rioters that assaulted the police, burned THE national flag outside the Capitol, and destroyed statues and monuments yesterday. People at the capitol building three and a half years ago face a decade or longer in prison for the equivalent of jaywalking. Democrats destroy Republicans' lives. Speaker 0: So I wanna say something to every single person who's considering voting for Kamala Harris or who is a democrat. There will never be unity in this country if y'all continue doing this shit. Because just yesterday, leftist riders destroyed national monuments and statues, destroyed Washington Square. They burned the national American flag less than a mile away from the capitol building. Then they circled around police officers. They circled around a few lone police officers. And they beat the shit out of them. Took turns assaulting them. And in less than 24 hours, all charges dropped. It's not the first time this has happened. This has happened dozens of times now. And they're gonna keep doing it again and again and again. So let me get this straight. Leftists can just go out. Democrats can just go out and commit every single crime in front of the fucking capitol building dozens of times. On video dozens of times. Assault the police dozens of times, damn near destroying every statue, every monument this country has, and no punishment and no punishment no punishment at all. As a matter of fact, in under in under 24 hours, in less than 24 hours, all charges dropped. Meanwhile, if you're a republican and if you're pro life and you're at a abortion clinic and if you're praying, these motherfuckers with Kamala Harris and her department of justice will throw you behind bars for 3 years, 5 years, 7 years for praying, for singing, for holding hands. They'll throw you in prison for up to a decade. If you're at the capitol building 4 years ago, whatever it was, three and a half years, 4 years ago, if you're at the capitol building, just standing inside the building, or you're trying to go inside the building, or if you're just there on the grounds, these motherfuckers, these fucking tyrants, or Kamala Harris's department of justice, that bitch ass dictator she is, they try to throw you in prison for a decade or longer for the equivalent of jaywalking. They destroy republicans' lives. So, yeah, there's not gonna be any unity with you fucking democrats if y'all keep doing this shit. Talking about, oh, let's come together. Fuck you. Fuck you. The president decided to address the injustices faced by 1,500 individuals affected by politicized prosecutions, many of whom had endured significant hardships over the past four years. This includes cases where even innocent bystanders, like two grandmothers, were arrested for merely being present at the Capitol. The president's actions aim to restore fairness to the justice system, particularly for those protesting against the killing of unborn children. Critics argue that this undermines safety, but the president believes reversing these politicized prosecutions enhances security. He highlights the disparity in sentencing, noting that a career criminal received only 27 months for burning down a police station, contrasting it with the treatment of those unjustly prosecuted.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: The president came in and made a judgment that these 1500 people of varying forms, some sentenced, some not, some had taken plea deals, some not, had had 48 months of their life turned upside down by a department of justice who wanted to try to make a example out of them, and the president of the United States said enough. And you know what? I agree. Because at the end of the day, 48 months later, many of them having been in jail for all or a lot of that time, many of them who had their doors broken down, many of them had FBI raids. I had 2 grandmas driving from Austin, Texas out into the Hill Country just a few months ago who were arrested and jailed overnight because they were physically present here at the capitol. Not even inside to the best of my knowledge. I think they might have just crossed one of the bike lines. 3 years later, you arrest 2 grandmothers, Put them in jail? Does anybody see what happens when you politicize the justice system? The scales of justice become something that you can't look at as blindfolded? And, again, why am I talking about this? Because today, the president righted the wrongs of those 21 individuals who were literally protesting the in their view, and I share that view, the murdering of the unborn children. I think that stuff matters. I think it matters a lot. Because had Joe Biden, had mayor Garland not politicized the Department of Justice, then maybe 20 or 30 cases of individuals who had done something that were particularly egregious, that were prosecuted, maybe those wouldn't have been pardoned. I don't know. I haven't studied every case. But when you're looking at 1500 cases and all the people who are being abused, I think the president did the right thing and, again, differentiated between those with the commuted sentences. But meanwhile, what the president is doing besides, I think, trying to restore balance to the justice system is he's keeping his promises to secure our country. One of my colleagues over there said the first thing the president did was make us less safe. Are you serious? Are you serious? You think you think reversing politicized political prosecutions 4 years later is making us less safe? May I remind my Democrat colleagues that the individual who burned down a police station, a career criminal, got 27 months. That's the idea of justice of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. Let's put aside the $2,000,000,000 of damage nationwide in the wake of the Floyd riots. Let's put aside all the other damage that flew flowed from that. Meanwhile, what is the president doing? Making our nation much more safe.
