Imagine being the President of the United States and waking up today… You’re told that every single day for the last 3+ years, thousands of unknown, unvetted migrants have illegally crossed our border and are being released into the country. Millions and millions of people in just a couple of years under your term. It’s gotten to a point where states, politicians and Americans across the political spectrum are demanding action and begging for help. City shelters are full, budgets are being cut, US citizens feel unsafe and many illegal migrants are being arrested for crimes including theft, drugs and even murder. Imagine you’re the President and you’ve been made aware of this national crisis every single day… and you just do nothing. Most people would react with shock and urgency. “How could this be happening? Seal the border! Send the national guard down there!” But no… nothing. Not even an effort. In fact, not only has President Biden done absolutely nothing with his own Executive Authority, but he has actually ordered his administration to sue Texas and block them from attempting to stop the mass illegal immigration on their own. He then blames it on not having more money or resources from Congress, even though that would do absolutely nothing to stop this crisis. What my Democrat friends need to understand is that you could have a million more border agents and endless funding, but if the plan and policy is still to let them cross the border illegally and release them into the US, nothing will change. That would actually just speed up the disaster that is currently happening and encourage even more illegal immigration. More funding and resources for the same broken policy is not a solution. It’s truly hard to comprehend what is happening. It’s an absolute failure of leadership and I’m honestly not sure how it isn’t treason at this point.

BREAKING: Senate border deal details, per source familiar I just had a call with. - Mandatory detention of all single adults. - Mandatory “shut down” of border once average daily migrant encounters hits 5,000. Importantly, this 5,000 number includes 1,400 CBP One app entries at ports of entry per day, and roughly 3,600 illegal crossings per day. - How is that enforced? Once the 5,000 threshold is hit, a new authority is codified into law that requires Border Patrol to immediately remove illegal immigrants they catch without processing. They would not get to request asylum, they would immediately be removed. This includes removals back to Mexico, and deportations to home countries. This would be a *massive* change from current policy, which is that once an illegal immigrant reaches US soil, they must be processed via Title 8 and allowed to claim asylum. Under this new authority – they are not processed, and they are mandatorily immediately removed once the “shut down” threshold is reached. - This “shut down” also takes effect is there are 8,500 migrant encounters in a single day. - The “shut down” would not lift the next day. It wouldn’t lift until daily encounters are reduced to under 75% of the 5,000 threshold for at least two weeks. This means the “shut down” authority would not lift until two weeks of an average of less than 3,750 migrant encounters per day. - Some family units will be released with ATD (Alternatives to Detention, ankle monitors etc). - New removal authority to immediately remove all migrants who do not have valid asylum claims, which will be determined within 6 months rather than the years long process we have right now. - Any migrant caught trying to cross twice during “shut down” phase would be banned from entering US for one year. - US will need agreement with Mexico for MX to take back non Mexican illegal immigrants. This hasn't been ironed out yet. - President Biden approves of the deal and is ready to sign it as is, right now, and implement the new authority it would give him.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told the Homeland Security Committee in November that these gotaways are a great concern for the agency, and all 56 of our Joint Terrorism Task Forces are trying to identify who these people are. We don't know how many terrorists are inside our borders. We do know that fentanyl is pouring into our communities like an open sewer. Right now, the leading cause of death of death in America for Americans aged 18 to 46 is fentanyl poisoning. To make matters worse, we've learned that the Biden administration is now simply just releasing 85% of the illegals who come across that border right into the country. For reference, by the way, in 2013, the Obama administration detained 82% of illegal aliens. How do we go from detaining 82% to releasing 85%? It only happens if this is by design. It only happens if it's an orchestrated intentional effort by the administration to do exactly that, and that is what the evidence shows. Earlier this month, I released a memo documenting 64 specific actions that the Biden administration has taken to undermine our border security and to promote the mass release of illegals and dangerous persons into our country. The very first day President Biden walked into the Oval Office, he revoked Executive Order 9844. Do you know what that did? It ended the construction of the border wall that Congress had already paid for. Everybody has seen the images of the materials out there rotting in the sun. Why? Because Joe Biden decided unilaterally that he didn't want a wall. In February 2021, the administration stopped applying Title 42 expulsions to children and incentivize by doing that incentivize families to send unaccompanied children through Mexico under the watch of cartels and traffickers. Since then, the administration admits to losing track of more than 80,000 unaccompanied children somewhere in the US. We don't know where they are. Have they been put into trafficking rings? We know that some of these kids are being trafficked for free labor and being forced to do things that are too appalling for us to articulate on this floor. Everybody here knows that's happening, and we're not demanding the President stop it? He can. He has the power to do it. In October 2021, the Biden administration revoked the migrant protection protocols that had been instituted under President Trump. That's the policy that we all know colloquially as Remain in Mexico. The Remain in Mexico policy kept asylum seekers in a safe haven third country while they were seeking asylum in the United States. Do you know why that works magically so well? Because it sent a message around the world that you shouldn't pay your life savings to a cartel to traffic you through Mexico and drop you over the US border because you're not going to be dropped over the US border. The word goes out on social media to countries all around the world. They are not going to let you in. Man, is that the most common sense rule you've ever thought of? President Biden doesn't agree because he stopped it. He issued an executive order to stop that common sense rule. A senior border patrol officer told us on that trip to Eagle Pass that if President Biden, by the stroke of a pen, would issue an executive order today to just simply reinstate Remain in Mexico, they think that would stop the flow by 70%. One stroke of the pen by the President. He does not seem to care. I told President Biden this myself on multiple occasions, most recently, a couple of weeks ago on the phone, I read him the law that says that he has all this authority, but he refuses to act. And even that's even despite court orders, by the way that instructed the administration to reinstate the institute remain in Mexico while the litigation was going on. You know what they did? They ignored it. The Biden administration is actively incentivizing illegals to come to the United States. We have laid out the welcome mat. We told everybody around the world, come on, you know what? The US taxpayer will take care of you. It's costing the American people billions and billions and billions of dollars to provide for people who are intentionally breaking our laws, billions and billions of dollars to house them and educate them and clothe them and take care of them. Why should we bear the burden when they break our laws? In January 2023, the Biden administration expanded the use of the Customs and Border Patrol One App so illegal aliens could just make appointments and then be released immediately right into America's interior. Guess what? 95% of all illegals who simply scheduled appointments through the app were released right into the United States. That's right. All you have to do is just download the app because they all have smartphones, make an appointment, and the President of the United States will release you into a network of NGOs who will put you on a plane to the destination of your choice. Without identification, by the way, while Americans are waiting in line to get through TSA. All on the dime of the American taxpayer. In December 2023, CBP recorded more than 302,000 encounters, almost double the population of my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana. In just one month 302,000 people just walked right into the country. I could go on and on about the 64 actions we've documented that President Biden has specifically taken to open our border wide up, but it's crystal clear his policy choices and Secretary Mayorkas refusal to comply with the law are driving this border catastrophe. They have chosen disorder and chaos for us rather than securing the homeland. They've ceded the homeland to cartels and traffickers. In the Del Rio sector alone in Eagle Pass, Texas, the cartels are making an estimated $3.5 million dollars a day trafficking human beings into our country. Do the math. They are making billions of dollars a year trafficking undocumented children and victims into this country. The Department of Homeland Security has effectively become a taxi driver to just help traffickers complete the last few miles of their human smuggling operation, and they're making billions of dollars in the process. It's absolute madness, and it is dismantling the safety of our communities. More than half a million known criminals and illegal aliens are in the US in our communities, free to re-offend and victimize American people. When we were at Eagle Pass in the Del Rio sector earlier in January, they told us that 60 to 70% of the people coming across the border right there at that epicenter are single adult males. They're military-aged. These are not huddled masses of families seeking refuge and asylum. These are people coming into our country to do only God knows what. The Biden administration is allowing it, and we've noted that they are coming from adversarial nations and from terrorist regions. We have no idea what they're planning. But in fiscal year 2023, border patrol encountered illegals from 170 different countries, including hundreds from Iran and Syria, thousands from Russia, and tens of thousands have come in from China. Tell me that's not dangerous? Law enforcement and intelligence leaders are warning us that we may very well suffer a preventable terrorist attack here in the homeland if we don't immediately secure that border and remove these dangerous terrorists from inside our borders. I read the black letter law to the President of the United States on the phone about two and a half weeks ago. I said, Mr. President, it says very clearly that you have all the tools and the executive authority necessary to reverse the catastrophe that you have created. ⁨⁨1) Kamala Harris claims she wants to cut taxes for middle class families, but here's what's in her plan: IRS Audits for working families: Getting audited is a horrendous experience, even if you’ve done nothing wrong. Harris cast the tie-breaking vote to hire 87,000 IRS agents to audit more people. As recently as last summer, 63% of new audits fell taxpayers earning less than $200,000. The IRS, like Kamala Harris, claims that it’s not going to increase audits on people making under $400K, but the Treasury Inspector General stated the agency’s strategic plan, “did not include specifics on how the IRS was going to ensure it met this commitment.” That’s because they have no intention of ensuring they’re not going to audit middle class families—that’s where they’re going to find the money to pay for their massive spending proposals. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, under questioning in the House, could not deny that 90 percent of new audits under the IRA would be on households earning less than $400,000. The nonpartisan Government Accountability Office found that the majority of additional taxes the IRS recommended from audits from 2010-2021 came from taxpayers with income less than $200,000. It’s even harder to pretend that taxing working men and women isn’t their focus when you think about the reporting requirement Biden-Harris signed into law to require businesses to fill out a 1099K form on transactions over $600 made using third-party payment platforms. The reporting threshold before their bill was $20,000. There’s no minimum number of transactions in their bill, so a single transaction over $600 that triggers the reporting requirement creates more paperwork. Even Senate Democrats have backed different bills to blunt the impact of this enormously burdensome mandate. The Government Accountability Office found this aspect of the Harris tax record would result in at least 30 million new 1099K forms getting sent out in 2024. The Joint Committee on Taxation found that over 90 percent of the tax burden will fall on middle class families and gig workers. The Biden-Harris tax plan, as explicitly outlined in their formal budget request to Congress would increase taxes by $5 trillion. That’s going to stack on top of her inflationary climate spending bills and drag the economy down further. It’s been estimated that “the tax changes in the Biden-Harris budget would reduce long-run GDP by 1.6 percent…wages by 1.1 percent, and employment by about 666,000 full-time equivalent jobs.” That’s nearly a million people out of work and lower wages for everyone in order to shift money towards the Harris Green New Deal—as she said to CNN in her first interview after nearly a month as the Democratic nominee, her values haven’t changed on that policy, which she supported enthusiastically when she was in the Senate. All in all, the Biden-Harris record has been a massive wealth transfer from working people to the Green New Deal’s constituencies—the Harris tax plan is going to be more of the same, no matter what kind of claims she makes during the campaign.⁩

2) Kamala claims she wants to make rent more affordable and home ownership more attainable, but that's not what her plan would do at all. Kamala wants to give every first time homebuyer a $25,000 check toward downpayment assistance. What she fails to leave out is that this would likely raise the average home price by the same amount, making her plan moot. We also haven't heard how the debt-burdened federal government would pay for such a plan. There’s also no guarantee that this down payment assistance will be limited to citizens. The campaign has yet to lay out what requirements there will be, beyond being a first time homebuyer and having a two year history of rental payments. One reporter has indicated that only an SSN or taxpayer identification number will be required. If that’s true, then this would leave open the door for millions of illegal immigrants to get this assistance. And this wouldn’t be the first time housing assistance has gone to noncitizens—there are a number of federal housing subsidies that noncitizens are eligible for: including the HOME Investment Partnership Program and Treasury’s pandemic era Emergency rental assistance program. But under Kamala, the potential for assistance to go to illegals isn’t the only issue. Couple that with Kamala’s CFPB and DOJ effectively forcing banks to lend to noncitizens. They’ve rewritten guidance mandating that banks cannot deny loan applications strictly on citizenship grounds, even though citizenship and residence status bear a large impact on loan repayment prospects. Vice President Harris also mentions how she'll spur the construction of "3 million more rental units." While she outlines an admirable plan, it's tough to take it seriously. This Vice President has overseen an administration that has enacted new red tape for multi-family and single-family construction. We've seen her Housing and Urban Development Department enact green energy requirements for new rental units, mandatory strictly-cosmetic updates to public housing units, and more regulations that will make it harder to grow the rental supply. That's not the end of it. The Vice President seems to think that the ongoing housing crisis is strictly due to a supply problem, but it's not. Her policies have also driven demand for housing through the roof, particularly when looking at the price and availability of rental units. As I've outlined before, and as academic research supports, mass immigration drives up demand, threatens the American dream of homeownership, and makes housing less affordable for working Americans. When a city’s immigrant population increases, the area’s home prices and rental costs rise by a comparable amount. But the effects vary by neighborhood: home values are negatively correlated with the immigrant concentration. The result: only current homeowners in non-immigrant, wealthy neighborhoods stand to benefit from mass immigration. Working-class residents see their rental costs soar, and their home values decline. It's common sense, we can't fix our housing crisis until we address the crisis at the border.⁩

3) Vice President Harris claims she'll "take on the everyday obstacles and red tape that can make it harder to grow a small business." However, under her administration, the SEC has promulgated at least 47 rulemakings, the majority of which have not been mandated by Congress, and we've seen Treasury enact burdensome compliance regulations, with some even aimed at small businesses, like the Administration's preferred implementation of the Corporate Transparency Act. This doesn't sound like cutting red tape to me. It sounds like the opposite: enacting overbearing regulations that stifle innovation and kill job creation.

Harris says that she wants families to “afford high-quality child care.” That may sound nice, but as always, Harris is light on detail and heavy on slogans. What might she mean by this? It’s tough to say, but the best indication would be the national childcare plan that she’s already laid out with President Biden as par of their “Build Back Better” plan. We all know how those policies turned out: skyrocketing inflation. But the childcare provisions of their plan were so extreme that not even a Democrat-controlled Congress could pass them. They wouldn’t have worked for many American families. Most parents who use a paid childcare center say they prefer a faith-based provider. What would Harris’s plan do for them? Nothing. Childcare providers based in a house of worship would have been excluded from funding opportunities. Other faith-based providers would be subject to additional regulations in order to access funding that might not have been able to meet. Many parents prefer to stay at home with a young child or have a loved-one watch them. Would Harris’s plan support these families? Not at all. Her proposal was only supports childcare centers and would offer no support to families that prefer not to send their children to daycare. Ensuring families have access to affordable childcare is an important challenge for our policy to help tackle. But the answer cannot be to force families into Kamala’s preferred one-size-fits-all model. We can support parents and their children without leaving millions of families behind.⁩

6) Kamala Harris made it clear that she views American energy policy as a part of her wider fight against global warming. For example, she takes credit for passing the Inflation Reduction Act, which she claims lowered household energy costs while building a green energy economy. The reality of the IRA’s climate record, however, is much different. CBS News reported earlier this month that the cost of electricity has increased more than 28.5 percent since 2019, with the average American now paying nearly $300 each month just in utilities. These higher costs can be attributed to a shrinking supply of American electricity. More specifically, Harris's environmental policies have shuttered reliable coal power plants, slowed the approval of new natural gas plants and failed to enact permitting reform for American generation and transmission infrastructure. Instead, they have placed an increasing burden on less reliable sources of energy, such as solar and wind. These renewable sources are more dependent on conducive weather than coal and gas plants, which means they are most prone to failure exactly when Americans are most reliant on electricity to do things like heat their homes. Kamala’s energy policies are making Americans poorer and more vulnerable to extreme weather. As for the “new green energy economy,” let us look at the IRA’s effort to make American roads more conducive to electric vehicles. The IRA allocated $7.5 billion to build new EV charging stations along highways. In the almost two years since the IRA became law, the Biden-Harris administration has built just eight charging stations. This program is part of the wider Harris push to replace gas-powered cars with EVs, which has also fizzled. Many automakers, including Ford and General Motors, are delaying or curtailing EV rollouts amid lower-than-expected consumer demand, despite rosy predictions from administration officials and $7,500 federal tax credits to buy new EVs. Meanwhile, dealers are complaining that they cannot move the EV inventory they already have. Kamala Harris also pledges to advance “environmental justice” and pays fealty to international climate agreements. At best, the policies spawned by progressive and foreign ideologues will go the way of the EV push: billions of tax dollars wasted with American energy and auto workers left with uncertain futures. At worst, Kamala’s climate policies will increase energy costs for all Americans, degrade their standard of living with new climate mandates, leave them vulnerable to dangerous weather and make America a worse place to live. 7) Kamala Harris says she wants to secure our borders. Her record tells a different story: Harris touts her record prosecuting international criminals as California’s Attorney General. One of the reasons why California has so much migrant crime is because it is a sanctuary state that shields illegal aliens from deportation. Hence foreign criminals feel more protected in California. Another thing Attorney General Harris did as California’s AG was write a 2015 letter to the US Senate defending California’s sanctuary state policies and opposing a bill that would penalize the state’s noncooperation with federal immigration law. It is safe to assume that there would have been a lot fewer migrant criminals to prosecute in California if the state and AG Kamala had allowed ICE agents to do their jobs and deport them. Kamala Harris then claims to have supported a bipartisan border security bill that would have deployed more agents and drug scanners. I believe she is referring to Sen. Chris Murphy’s Border Act of 2024 (S.4361). What she won’t tell you is that the bill also codifies catch-and-release, allows up to 1.8 million illegals to enter before the border could be closed, gives billions of taxpayer dollars to the same NGOs that are driving the invasion and expands the executive parole powers used by Biden instead of limiting them. The bill’s author Sen. Murphy put it best when he admitted that, under his bill, “the border never closes.” I think all of that is totally unacceptable when our nation is facing a historic border crisis, which is why I and my Republican colleagues opposed it. Kamala Harris should have instead pushed for a standalone vote on new border agents and scanners. Kamala Harris also brags that, thanks to her efforts, border crossings are currently at 4-year lows. It is worth remembering that almost four years ago, on their first day in office, Biden and Harris issued executive orders that stopped border wall construction and stopped deportations. They then rescinded Trump’s Remain In Mexico policy, allowing every migrant with a dubious asylum claim to enter America while waiting in an years-long case backlog. As a direct result of these actions, America endured consecutive months record-breaking illegal immigration. Only once their Border Act was rejected, and border security consistently polled as a top concern of voters, did Biden and Harris issue orders that give the appearance that they care about illegal border crossings. She cannot take credit for nominally lower border crossing numbers after she spent almost four years holding the border wide open. But the most destructive part of the Kamala Harris border plan is where she says that she wants to give her 8.5+ million illegal aliens an “earned pathway to citizenship,” which means rewarding illegal aliens with amnesty and the right to vote in our next election. Promising amnesty and citizenship will create a gigantic magnet for illegal immigration that will entice people around the world to race across our borders. If there’s a takeaway from this section, it’s that Kamala opened our borders to 8.5+ million illegal aliens, lied about it for almost four years, blamed others when she got caught and now wants to reward those illegals with citizenship.⁩

8) Kamala Harris has said she wants to support veterans and their families. She has completely failed to do so as Vice President: Right from the beginning, Biden and Harris charted a bad course, putting U.S. soldiers in harm's way. In Afghanistan, as the situation turned chaotic in 2021, a lot more could and should have been done to keep our people safe. People on the ground warned Biden and Harris - through a dissent channel cable - that the situation would get chaotic. The administration didn't listen. Kamala Harris never once supported an investigation into the decisions that led to Abbey Gate. If Kamala Harris cared about veterans, she would have demanded accountability. She didn't. I think our veterans and their families deserve a genuine investigation into what happened at Abbey Gate. That's about accountability, yes, but it's also about making sure it doesn't happen again. The same mistakes that led to our losing people at Abbey Gate were repeated again and again and again. At Tower 22 in Jordan on January 28, 2024, we lost three service members to a drone launched by an Iran-backed militia. Different time, different place, different enemy - but a lot of the same mistakes. By that time, our forces had been under fire in Syria and Iraq dozens, hundreds of times since October 7 - and we weren't shooting back. The situation was chaotic, we weren't in control, it was only a matter of time before our people paid the price. Take your pick of military operations under this administration - from the pier to nowhere in Gaza to the Red Sea operation against Houthi militants, the common thread running through them is our soldiers get thrown into situations where they are sitting ducks, where they very often come to serious harm, with no serious thought given to how we're going to get the other side to stop shooting at us. That absolutely has to stop, and it will stop under President Trump. When Russian forces attacked us in Syria on President Trump's watch, we killed them. When we took on ISIS in the Middle East, we destroyed them. Our goal should never be to send our troops into harm's way as some kind of symbol of resolve. We send our troops in to win. When the children arrived, they were astonishingly vulnerable to exploitation: they didn’t speak English, they were underage, they were in debt to cartels, and they were afraid to go to the police because they were illegal immigrants.But Democrats had accused President Donald Trump of holding “kids in cages,” referring to the secure facilities developed by the Obama administration. So, when Joe Biden became president, he sought to avoid the charge of hypocrisy by quickly finding places for the children to live.The problem was there were no safe homes waiting to take in hundreds of thousands of children. So the Biden administration began sending them to live in the homes of illegal immigrant adults who often were not related to them. It was impossible to vet them since the “sponsors” were illegal themselves, and since the Department of Health and Human Services is not a law enforcement agency.As a result, contractors received billions of dollars to process the children, and HHS officials used makeshift vetting, such as having sponsors text a picture of a foreign passport to them. But there was no way of knowing whether the sponsors were who they said they were, and no way to check foreign criminal records or the authenticity of documents with the government of their home countries.Biden’s immigration policies came under renewed scrutiny this week after an illegal immigrant granted a work visa by the Biden administration threw a Molotov cocktail at a group of pro-Israel demonstrators in Colorado. Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national and illegal alien, is believed to have entered the United States on a visa before he was granted work authorization by the Biden administration, which he overstayed after it expired in March, The Daily Wire reported.Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said after children were delivered by contractors to “sponsors” — who government officials had typically never seen until the drop-off — the federal government was no longer responsible. Mayorkas also claimed that stopping the trafficking of children for labor was “outside the responsibility” of DHS.But Democrats, led by Kamala Harris, pushed to prevent HHS from sharing data with other federal and state government agencies, ostensibly to protect the privacy of the illegal immigrant adults and children. That meant that local school districts and state child welfare offices had no idea that the children existed, making it impossible to ensure that they were attending school and not being trafficked for labor or sex.Federal whistleblowers told Congress the scheme amounted to taxpayer-funded human trafficking, and the New York Times reported that one-third of the children could not be located 30 days after being placed with a “sponsor.”Democrats said the solution was more money, obscuring the fact that HHS has no law enforcement powers and could not do anything to punish sponsors who would not say where the child was, even though an American whose child disappeared would go to jail.In August, the Department of Homeland Security inspector general said the department did not know the location of 300,000 minors, and “Without an ability to monitor the location and status of UCs, ICE has no assurance UCs are safe from trafficking, exploitation, or forced labor.”The inspector general mentioned a case similar to Lopez-Carillo’s, in which “One ICE officer expressed concern with not being able to take action in a case involving a UC whose sponsor claimed the UC was in an inappropriate relationship with her husband.” That same month, the Democratic National Committee made preserving the unaccompanied minor loophole a plank of its 2024 platform.Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, said rescuing the missing “unaccompanied alien children” is a priority.Related: How Guatemalan Traffickers Exploit Biden’s ‘Unaccompanied Alien Children’ Program dailywire.com

A little primer on “asylum”: 1. There are no “asylum seekers” on the Southern Border. “Asylum” is limited to individuals fleeing extremely narrow categories of state persecution (eg high-ranking Soviet defectors during the Cold War) — none of the groups illegally crossing the border fit that criteria. No one in Mexico or Ecuador or Honduras etc live in nations where there is any state persecution of any protected class. It’s all fake, all the way down. 2. All non-Mexican illegals have transited through additional countries on the way to America where there are no forms of state persecution, thereby further disproving any hypothetical claim 3. As yet further proof the claims are fake, aliens turn down the opportunity to avoid this fabricated persecution by being safely resettled in another nation 4. Illegal aliens receive free and functionally unlimited legal services. When facing deportation, they and their lawyers (as a matter of course) automatically file fake asylum applications. It’s a multibillion dollar fraudulent industry. It’s gross, unethical, and deeply immoral. Everyone involved in this system understands and knows these claims are false. Adjudicating these knowingly false claims is a full-time job for thousands of people. 5. Federal law requires illegal aliens to be detained pending a hearing for their (fake) asylum claim. These are not prisons. They are not being punished. No one is being sentenced. Civil detention and removal is not part of the Article III justice system (in fact, Congress stripped Article III of jurisdiction over civil immigration procedure). The goal of the US government is to send aliens home immediately (they get cash and a free plane ticket) with the fewest days in custody as logistically possible. Any delay is caused by the fake asylum claim. 6. When the fake asylum claim is heard on the “non-detained” docket the illegal aliens rarely show for their hearings. Those few who do show stay in the country regardless after losing (unless placed into detention). Removal orders are ignored as a matter of course. If and when absconders are eventually found (at great time and expense) they still have to be detained to actually effectuate the removal. At this point in time their lawyers will file a motion to reopen their asylum claim or otherwise appeal the finding and seek release again. Regardless, no removal of any alien anywhere can occur unless in a detained setting. If the alien has children they are, by law, supposed to stay in a family residential center (that costs more per night than a high-end hotel, and includes full medical, dental, scholastic and other services). 7. Biden officials did not even bother with the pretext of performing intake interviews for the millions and millions and millions they released into the US. The aliens were simply released on sight, no questions asked, with court dates years away, in the hope and expectation that by the time their fake asylum claims were adjudicated and rejected years later, Democrats would be able to scream that these illegals have now lived here for X years and they and their children must be allowed to stay at our permanent expense. No one in the prior Administration responsible for these decisions actually believed the or now this has anything to do with asylum. To them, it is just useful propaganda in service of infinite mass migration.
