California Sheriff speaks out about the public safety crisis in the state. He blames the rise in crime on the radical progressive agenda of criminal justice reform, which he calls a sick social experiment. Thousands of criminals are being released early, while prisons are being closed. Californians are fed up.

California Sheriff Is Not Afraid To Speak The Truth “We are here today because California public safety is in crisis. Crime is steadily on the rise and our public safety policy is one of the worst, if not the worst in the nation. I wanna make this clear and I want there to be no mistake in what I am saying. This is not by accident.” “The driving force in our crisis is a radical progressive agenda fraudulently called criminal justice reform. This is nothing short of a sick and twisted social experiment where law enforcement is the bad guy and criminals are somehow victims of society and not responsible for their actions, their crimes, or accountable to their countless victims.” “Thousands upon thousands of criminals are being released from custody early, crime is increasing and our governor is closing prisons instead of building new ones. It defies common sense. — We are now at our breaking point and Californians have had enough.” I can’t transcribe this all due to X’s text limits but this is an excellent listen.

California's public safety crisis is blamed on progressive criminal justice reforms like AB 109, prop 47, and prop 57. These laws led to early release of criminals, increased crime, and lenient punishment. Governor Newsom and lawmakers are criticized for failing to address the rise in theft and violent crimes. Law enforcement calls for accountability and a return to tougher crime laws. The upcoming election year brings promises of new laws, but they are seen as ineffective. It's time for politicians to take responsibility for the consequences of their policies and prioritize public safety.

Speaker 0: Good morning. Chapianco, Riverside County sheriff. We are here today because California public safety is in crisis. Crime is steadily on the rise, and our public safety policy is one of the worst, if not the worst, in the nation. I wanna make this clear, and I want there to be no mistake in what I am saying. This is not by accident. The driving force in our crisis is a radical progressive agenda fraudulently called criminal justice reform. This is nothing short of a sick and twisted social experiment where law enforcement is the bad guy and criminals are somehow victims of society and not responsible for their actions, their crimes, or accountable to their countless victims. This agenda began with a passage of AB 109, the so called Public Safety Realignment Act. State government failed to take responsibility for prison overcrowding or their failure to build more prisons and instead forced county jails to house state inmates while simultaneously releasing thousands of felons early. This has pushed our county jails to a near collapse and caused the early release of countless criminals. Thousands upon thousands of criminals are being released from custody early, crime is increasing, and our governor is closing prisons instead of building new ones. It defies common sense. In 2014, a complete fraud was perpetrated in California. The so called safe streets and safe schools initiative prop 47 changed many felonies to misdemeanors, basically legalized drug use, and increased the amount of petty petty theft to nearly $1,000. In 2016, another lie was perpetrated on voters with the naming and wording of prop 57, tricking voters into approving the release of 1,000 of violent criminals onto our streets and neighborhoods. This is why we are here. Everyone knows prop 4757 are disasters, and yet governor Newsom adamantly touts it as a success, and lawmakers continue to refuse to fix their their mistake and the problems that they have created. When once crimes are no longer crimes, it allows governor Newsom and attorney general Bonta to cite completely flawed data points to support their failures. Californians are now suffering the consequences of a failed social agenda. We are now at our breaking point and Californians have had enough. The lie of prop 47 has been exposed and the progressive love affair with criminals at the expense of victims has infuriated law abiding Californians. While we suffer every day with rampant theft causing our small businesses to close and our large box stores to move out of state, Our super majority of lawmakers sit here in their guarded tower oblivious to what is going on in their communities, experiencing drastic increases in all crimes particularly violent crimes. Over the past 5 years, law enforcement has been unable to get our progressive left majority to even consider any new law or modification to an existing law that would increase punishment or send criminals to prison. Reality has gone completely upside down to the point our governor, our lawmakers, and our attorney general refused to prosecute criminals to include those criminals committing crimes with guns and instead have dedicated their efforts to disarm and remove constitutional protections of self defense from law abiding Californians. We are in a very important election year, and the political silliness is surfacing all around us. The same super majority who refused any sort of tough on crime laws for the past several years are up for reelection. They are now claiming they are going to address our public safety crisis with new laws cracking down on crime. The problem is every one of their bills are disingenuous and hollow. For instance, one bill claims to address theft by lowering the felony felony limit back to $400. Upon examination of the bill, you will find that it gives these career criminals 3 more chances to steal and be convicted before they are sentenced to prison. That is 3, a minimum of 3, more victims. We cannot turn on the news, read the newspaper, go to the grocery store, or open our businesses without being slapped in the face of reality that criminals have been emboldened by a lenient system that holds no consequence for criminal behavior. Instead of addressing the obvious, tone deaf governor Newsom attacks a Target employee for not stopping a criminal from fleeing the store instead of taking an honest look at the failed social experiment that he himself leads that allowed that theft to occur. It is time we wake up and hold our politicians accountable for what their bills, laws, and policies have caused. It is time to return to a common sense approach to crime, realizing and admitting that there are evil people who refuse to conform to a civilized society and instead choose to victimize the rest of us by stealing our property, robbing our stores, flooding our streets with drugs including fentanyl, breaking into our homes, murdering our children, and giving the middle finger to our justice system. Californians deserve better. I am proud to support lawmakers like Bill Asali and several others who acknowledge that criminals are responsible for their actions, and they need to be held accountable. Thank you.

Good morning. California's public safety is in crisis, with rising crime rates and ineffective policies. The so-called criminal justice reform, starting with AB 109, has led to early releases of thousands of felons and overcrowded jails. Initiatives like Prop 47 and Prop 57 have further weakened our laws, allowing many crimes to go unpunished. Despite the chaos, lawmakers, including Governor Newsom, continue to ignore the consequences of their actions and refuse to implement tougher crime laws. Instead, they propose hollow measures that only give criminals more chances to offend. It's time to hold politicians accountable and recognize that there are individuals who choose to victimize others. Californians deserve a return to common sense in addressing crime and ensuring that criminals are held responsible for their actions.

I'm announcing my campaign to be the next governor of California. Our state is heading down the wrong track due to failed policies from those in Sacramento. We're facing rampant crime, high taxes, a high cost of living, tent encampments, fentanyl deaths, and a broken insurance market. I came to California in 1989 and achieved the California dream, but destructive policies have turned it into a nightmare. Career politicians focused on selfish agendas are driving our state into the ground. I will be an honest, ethical governor who serves all Californians. As Sheriff, I helped pass Prop 36 to make crime illegal again, but those in power opposed it. Californians want our streets cleaned up, public safety restored, schools focused on education, and leaders who care about the cost of living. I will fight for a safe, affordable California and restore sanity to our government.

Speaker 0: Let's get to it. I'm here to announce our campaign Yes, sir. To be the next governor of California. I am running for governor of our beautiful state, which I absolutely love because our head is heading down the wrong track, and it has been for years. Everyone knows it except for those sitting in an echo chamber in Sacramento. For decades, the party in complete control of our government has tried the same failed ideas and the same failed policies that haven't worked. We we have to be brutally honest during this campaign, and that includes those in the media. It is only our Democrat elected officials who are responsible for the decline of California. What is it that they have given us? Rampant crime, higher taxes, the highest cost of living in our nation, tent encampments in every major city, more fentanyl deaths, catastrophic fires, a broken homeowners insurance market, and people across our state are struggling to afford groceries and gas. Californians deserve better. I came to California in 1989 in search of the California dream. I got a job. I bought a house. I married a beauty queen, and I raised a family. Over the past thirty six years, I achieved and lived my California dream. Unfortunately for my kids, destructive policies, political agendas, government overreach and regulation, radical activism, and special interests have turned the California dream into a nightmare for millions of Californians. Today, we fire up the machine that will restore the promise to all Californians that the dream is still alive. Yeah. If you turn on the news, it seems the only thing positive we have going for us in California is the weather. That's all good. I'm not complaining. Rising crime, the cost of living, the price of food, gas, electricity, overregulation, a failed education system, nonexistent or failed infrastructure, overtaxation, and reckless and wasteful government spending are driving hardworking Californians to other states. As I watched over the past year or so as career politicians and millionaires and billionaires position themselves for the governor election of twenty twenty six, I realize that we are blindly continuing down this path of destruction. The same people responsible for the past twenty years of failed government all want the top position. And make no mistake, it is all for a selfish agenda. They have actually told us. All of them want to be the first, the first of this, the first of that, highlighting the worst aspect of this woke culture. It is no longer about character, ability, leadership, or what's worse, it is not about Californians. It is about them. I believe California is in desperate need of an honest, ethical, moral governor with integrity whose only interest is to serve all of Californians. I will be that governor. Over the past year and a half, as the sheriff of Riverside County, I have helped lead the fight to pass prop 36 to make crime illegal again in California. We won that fight, and we won it big. 70% of California voters spoke up for common sense and demanded the restoration of rule of law. 70% is not a win. It is an absolute landslide and a mandate by all of Californians telling our politicians in Sacramento, we have had enough. Prop 36 passed in every single county in our state, including Los Angeles and San Francisco. A huge thank you all to those responsible with common sense and reason for our California Democrat and Republican voters who realize that California deserves better. And yet that success, and we knew it was going to succeed, Despite resounding support from up and down this state, Gavin Newsom opposed prop 36. Those currently in power in Sacramento opposed prop 36. Those others running for governor opposed prop 36. Not only did they oppose it, they tried to their best to keep it off our ballot to prevent all of you from forcing them to do what was right. Most of them were responsible for prop 47, AB one zero nine, prop 57, and many others that have contributed to the decline of public safety in California. They were wrong, and Californians have sent them a message. We sent them a message that we are tired of catch and release of criminals, tired of smash and grab robberies and retail theft threatening our businesses and killing our family members. Tired of billions upon billions spent on homelessness with nothing to show for it except more homelessness. They're tired of sanctuary state policies that protect criminals rather than the vulnerable communities that they are meant to protect, tired of lawlessness without consequence. Those in power not only created these issues by a failed agenda, they ignored these issues for years. Californians stood up and said, we have had enough. That was just the start. Californians want our streets cleaned up, tent encampments gone, and public safety restored. They want schools whose only mission is to educate our children. Leave the politics out of our schools and let parents raise their children. As Californians, we want leadership that actually cares about the cost of living and leaders who will do something about it. We want homes we can afford. We want air conditioning when it's hot, not rolling blackouts. We want water for crops and animals that feed us. And how about water to fight fires? We want the opportunity to achieve the California dream, not be prevented from it because of red tape. Lower taxes. We are absolutely tired of government waste, and we want sanity restored and common sense to prevail. I repeatedly hear from people all across the state that California is lost and we are too far gone to save. No. I say they are wrong. I say this is actually going to be easy. California suffers from a lack of a leader. We need to elect a leader to fix this state, someone with the fortitude to make hard decisions and someone with the strength and courage to say no and stand up to the insanity of special interests. California's want a safe and affordable California, which is which is exactly what we deserve and what I plan on delivering as your next governor. As sheriff of Riverside thank you. As sheriff of Riverside County, I have faced the reality of Sacramento's failed policies on a daily basis. I have led our department through civil unrest and a global pandemic, and we have come through it all stronger. I know what leadership is, and I know that leadership matters. And just as importantly, I know what leadership isn't. I know the damage caused by a lack of leadership. I know that when those in charge are failing, it is time for a complete change at the top. Over the past six years, I have led one of the largest law enforcement organizations in the country through a transition into one of the most efficient, effective, and respected law enforcement organizations in our country. That includes thank you. It is 100% true, and that includes our patrol and our jail operations. Despite the lies, the attacks, and the hit pieces from our attorney general, activist groups, and tabloid media, the state of California even commended and recommended that every correctional institution in the state follow our lead in the safety and protection of our inmates. Yeah. The exactly. The opposition to our success is about lies, intimidation, manipulation, and emotion. I will never be intimidated. Those currently in power are completely out of touch, but they are not out of reach. Californians deserve a change of direction in order to get our state back on track. This campaign will not be about the divide between Republicans and Democrats. It will be about the common goal we all have for a better California. Our campaign will be about all Californians. We must elect a leader who will bring common sense back to our government. I promise to campaign for governor with everything that I have. We will take our message of restoring sanity to every corner of our beautiful state. Our campaign will succeed because it must succeed. The future of California and America depend on it. Thank you all. God bless America. God bless America, and may God's light once again shine on this golden state.

BREAKING: Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announces he is running for New York City mayor, admits the city is a crime-ridden mess. "Our New York City is in trouble..." "You feel it when you walk down the street and try not to make eye contact with a mentally ill homeless person."

New York City is in crisis due to failed political leadership. We see it in homelessness, violence, and economic decline. But New Yorkers can solve this, just like we overcame COVID. I've served at all levels of government and know how to make a positive difference. As governor, we achieved a higher minimum wage, gun violence protection, marriage equality, and paid family leave. We invested in infrastructure, like LaGuardia Airport and the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge. My plan is to address the homeless with professional help, increase police presence to fight crime, improve subway safety, build affordable housing, and invest in job training. We must combat antisemitism and ensure a government that serves working people. I'm running for mayor to save our city, offering experience and a commitment to action. Let's fight for New York together.

And as in life, we have had times when we are at our shining best. And there are times when we struggle and endure great hardship. But we also know that we can handle a crisis because we have. We recently did it together through COVID. And we know that the first step towards solving a problem is having the strength, having the courage to recognize it. And we know that today our New York City is in trouble. You feel it when you walk down the street and try not to make eye contact with a mentally ill homeless person or when the anxiety rises up in your chest as you're walking down into the subway. You see it in the empty storefronts, the graffiti, the grime, the migrant influx, the random violence. The city just feels threatening, out of control, and in crisis. These conditions exist not as an act of God, but rather as an act of our political leaders. Or more precisely, the lack of intelligent action by many of our political leaders. But New Yorkers know the simple answer of what to do when there's a crisis in leadership. You lead, you act, you do. I had the honor to serve the public in every level of government. In my twenties, with my father when he was governor, with mayor David Dinkins on homelessness, with president Bill Clinton as secretary of housing and urban development where we worked with cities all across the nation, and as New York state attorney general, and as your governor. I know government can make a positive difference because we did. Was it easy? No. But together we achieved historic progressive accomplishments. We did things they said couldn't be done. We changed lives by setting the highest minimum wage in the nation. A 66% increase. We saved lives by enacting the toughest gun violence protection laws in America. We created new families by leading the nation in passing marriage equality, which established a new civil right for the LGBTQ community and set a new standard for the country. We created the best paid family leave program, enshrined Roe v Wade into state law three years before Trump's Supreme Court ended a woman's right to control her own body, enacted the most aggressive green economy program in the country, and highest minority business participation. We showed that government can actually work and get things done. Big, hard, important things and get them done well. A new LaGuardia Airport that went from the worst in the country to the best. The beautiful new Moynihan Train Station. A new Second Avenue subway line, a new Kosciusko Bridge, and the largest infrastructure project in the nation done on time and on budget, the Mario M Cuomo bridge. And on top of it all, we faced COVID, which was an historic life and death challenge. And we had it first and worst with no warning. We were on our own, and we were pushed to our limits. But we got through it together and we led the nation. We didn't do these things because they were easy. They weren't. They were hard but they were necessary. And today, it is necessary to launch a bold action plan to turn New York City around to save our city. We now walk down the street passing homeless people living in garbage. And it's become so commonplace that we have become conditioned to think that it is okay. That there's nothing we can do about it. No. It's wrong. It is not advancing civil rights to abandon seriously mentally ill people to the street, allowing them to endanger themselves or others. We are better than that and they deserve better than that. We must get them the professional help they need. That is the caring, the loving thing to do. That is what New Yorkers believe is the right thing to do and that is what a competent effective government must do. We must attack the crime problem. After politicians have been minimizing the need for police and cutting funding, we must acknowledge the simple truth that they are just plain wrong, deadly wrong. They set us back and we must now return to actually fighting crime. Let's remember what mayor David Dinkins did when he took office and we had a crime problem. He hired 6,000 new police officers, a 40% increase in force. While today we have fewer cops for a larger city. We need more police and specialized units, and law enforcement must focus on the small number of recidivists who commit the large number of crimes. We must also restore a relationship of mutual trust and respect between the police and the community. The police have been devalued, and today people don't even want to apply to be police officers. That must change. And our subway system, it was a visionary achievement, demonstrating New York at its best. They began construction in 1900, and in just four years built a system that went from City Hall to 140 Fifth Street in Manhattan with 28 stops, including Grand Central and Times Square. Remarkable, really. Government worked and the subways were safe. But today, people stand with their backs against the walls, away from the tracks and away from each other. Wary, on guard, afraid they might be the next victim. Afraid of New York at its worst. Why? Because once again, government leadership has failed to perform a basic function, public safety. We need a significant presence of real police, not publicity stunts with short term efforts. A permanent significant increase by the city and state, more NYPD, MTA police, state police, whatever is necessary to make our subway safe twenty four hours a day. Safe as an alternative to driving. Safe for our working men and women. And safe for my daughters and for yours. And we must bring order to the chaos of e bikes on our streets and sidewalks. Pedestrians are getting needlessly hurt and even killed. It must end. We must stop talking and actually start building thousands of new affordable units and create thousands of good jobs in the process. Look around you. We know how to build. We built the greatest city on the planet. We built the Empire State Building in one year in the middle of the Great Depression. It is basic competence. Government just has to get out of its own way and get it done. Our public housing is fifty, sixty years old. Many developments have open areas. We should be transforming them on a large scale basis to modern mixed income communities. We did it at HUD twenty five years ago. Cities across the country have done it, and we can too. It's long overdue. We must do more to advance social justice, and a top priority must be investing in training and jobs rather than jails. Many have said it. Now it's time to do it. We must provide economic alternatives for young minority men now turning to crime. Private employment partnerships, vocational training, apprentice programs, positive opportunities. We can do it and we will do it. The tragic situation in The Middle East generates strong opinions, understandably. It is a terrible story of human loss and suffering. But nothing justifies racism and antisemitism. We have the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. They are our neighbors and friends. They are our family, literally. They helped build this city. It is their home, and they must feel safe. Our New York City should not be tolerating any harassment or disparagement of our Jewish brothers and sisters and certainly not from our elected officials. In fact, they should be condemning it. The law must be aggressively enforced and now New York should go even further and be at the forefront leading the fight against the global rise of anti Semitism. But to do any of this, we need a government that can actually perform. We need a government with leadership that can take a stand and get things done intelligently, professionally, efficiently, effectively, and do it now. To me, the founding premise of a progressive Democratic party is all about serving working men and women. But the cruel irony is they are the ones now paying the highest price for New York's failed Democratic leadership. The affordability crisis, the madness of the mass transit system mainly affects the poor and middle class, and 75 of the victims of crime are black and brown. This is not progressive policy, but in fact regressive policy. FDR, John Kennedy, LBJ, Mario Cuomo, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama taught us what it meant to have a true progressive government. It wasn't about rhetoric but results. Look at the word. Progressive government makes progress. They focused on issues that mattered to people in their day to day lives. Issues that were relevant to them. And then they actually made life better for people. And that is what Democrats must do once again. New York birthed the original progressive movement and it worked. It lifted this city, this state, this nation to new heights and it is time for its rebirth and the place is New York and the time is now. My philosophy as an elected official is simple. I work for you, not the politicians and not the special interests. I work as hard as you do, twenty four seven. I know what needs to be done and I know how to do it. Experience matters. Leading New York City in the midst of a crisis is not the time or the place for on the job training. Did I always do everything right in my years of government service? Of course not. Would I do some things differently knowing what I know now? Certainly. Did I make mistakes? Some painfully? Definitely. And I believe I learned from them and that I am a better person for it. And I hope to show you that every day. But I promise you this, I know what needs to be done and I know how to do it. And I will give it my all to get the job done. And it will get done. And I will work with anyone who wants to work for the benefit of New York. I will cooperate and collaborate on any and every level. I have worked with president Trump in many different situations. And I hope president Trump remembers his hometown and works with us to make it better. But make no mistake, I will stand up and fight for New York. I have done it before and I will do it again. I will fight Washington and Albany to make sure we get our fair share of funding and to protect the rights and values that New Yorkers hold dear. That we believe that any discrimination by race, color, or creed is anti American. We do not harbor criminals, but we believe in lawful intelligent immigration because we are a city of immigrants. We believe good government helps people lift themselves up to reach their full potential, and that then raises us all. We believe integrity in government is essential to ensure opportunity and justice for all. My friends, we can save our city. We are New Yorkers. We are a special breed. You have to be to live in this town. We are New York tough. Knock us down and we get back up and we are then stronger and smarter for the experience. That is who we are. We survived nine eleven, the economic attack of two thousand seven, hurricanes, floods, super storms, deadly diseases. We are a people built from the greatest talents from all over the globe. We can do anything when we are together. But time is short and we must do it now. We must do it not just for the sake of New Yorkers. We must do it because New York stands for something bigger. At this time when the nation is searching for its soul, divided as never before, questioning our democratic values, questioning the very role of government and the balance of power, New York must show the way forward and remind the nation of who we are because it all started here. This was the epicenter. It is this country's past and it forecasts the future. New York says that we can't run from each other, but rather we must turn towards each other. That our diversity is not a weakness, but in fact our diversity is our greatest strength. That our city brings people together from all around the world in one place, one dense place, 8,000,000 people on 300 square miles. A cauldron of humanity, sharing ideas, celebrating cultures, exchanging experiences, exciting the imagination, creating a collective energy, a community with a spirit of inclusion not exclusion, acceptance not rejection, and love not hate. Our founding fathers expressed their vision for America in three words. E pluribus unum, out of many one. We say it in three words, New York City. And that my friends is what makes this city unique. The place, the space that is the heart of the American dream and an international phenomenon. That is New York at its best. As the great Eby White said, New York is to the nation what the white church spire is to the village, the visible symbol of aspiration and faith. The white plume saying the way is up. I am not saying this is going to be easy. It won't be easy. But I know we can turn the city around. And I believe I can help. And that is why I announced my candidacy today for mayor of New York City. I am a lifelong New Yorker and I love New York. And I want New York to not only survive, but for New York to thrive for my children and for yours. So now the only question is, are you ready to fight to save our city? I know that I am. Let's do it. Let's do it together, and let's do it now.

New York City is the greatest city in the world, but it's currently facing a crisis. We feel it in the streets, the subways, the empty storefronts, and the random violence. I've served at every level of government and know government can make a difference. We've achieved historic accomplishments like the highest minimum wage, tough gun laws, marriage equality, and more. We built new airports, train stations, and bridges. To save our city, we must address the homeless crisis with compassion, increase police presence to combat crime, improve subway safety, build affordable housing, and invest in job training. We must also fight against antisemitism. I'm running for mayor to bring effective leadership, drawing on my experience to work for you, not special interests. We can save our city by working together. New York must lead the way forward for the nation, reminding everyone that our diversity is our greatest strength.

The speaker is pro-deportation and suggests deporting all men. For women, they propose a one-year timeline to marry a "Californian incel" to be allowed to stay. Otherwise, they will be deported. The speaker mentions others have suggested only keeping "big booty Latinas."

I mean, people enough people have told me that I should consider that to where oh, I'm just saying I would give them a one year timeline. You know? Okay. I'm like, we know who you are. Chad Bianco, Sheriff for Riverside County, CA, calls out INSANE Democrat bill that would hold YOU responsible if a violent criminal dies while trying to attack you or your family. Unbelievable https://t.co/XkwOpgwCQy

Video Transcript AI Summary
Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco claims that California legislation is hindering law enforcement and citizens' ability to protect themselves. He specifically cites AB 1333, sponsored by Assembly member Rick Chavez Spur, which he says would make it a crime for individuals to defend themselves against violent criminals if the attacker dies. According to Bianco, under this bill, a person could be arrested and charged with murder for defending themselves or their family. Bianco asserts that people have a constitutional and God-given right to self-defense, which he believes is supported by current California law, but is being challenged by California's Democrat leadership and Assembly member Spur. He urges citizens to contact their elected officials and Assembly member Spur to demand the bill be removed.

Speaker 0: Hello, California. Riverside County sheriff Chad Bianco. For more than a decade, the leadership in Sacramento has literally tied the hands of law enforcement and made it almost impossible for us to protect you. Now they are coming after you and your ability to protect yourself. Under a new bill, a b thirteen thirty three by California assembly member from Santa Monica, Rick Chavez Spur, you will no longer be allowed to protect yourself when confronted by violent criminals. Under this bill, if a criminal attacks you or your family and you defend yourself and that criminal dies as a result of his criminal behavior, you could be arrested and charged with murder. Now let me make this very, very clear. You have a constitutional constitutional and a god given right to protect yourself. You actually have that right under California law. But our California Democrat leadership and assembly member Spur say, no. You don't. It is time we stand up to this insanity in Sacramento. I am asking all of you to contact your local elected officials in Sacramento and tell them that this bill needs to be removed from the assembly floor. Contact assembly member Spurs' office and demand this bill be removed. Californians deserve far better than what we are getting from our Democrat leadership and our assembly members and senators in Sacramento. We demand better. We deserve better.

BREAKING: A panicking CA Governor Gavin Newsom calls on ICE director Tom Homan to **arrest** him as the riots in Los Angeles rage on. "Tom, arrest me, let's go." The governor was seen lashing out at the Trump administration as his state descends into chaos. https://t.co/QZpVfsHsew

Video Transcript AI Summary
The speaker accuses the Trump administration of authoritarian tendencies, citing the federalizing of the National Guard and threats to deploy marines. He claims Trump is inflaming the situation and needs to "pull back." The speaker says he spoke with Trump on Friday night for twenty minutes, but Trump never mentioned the National Guard, calling Trump a "stone cold liar." He states there's "no working with the president, there's only working for him, and I will never work for Donald Trump." He says he received no heads-up about the National Guard deployment, finding out from a staffer. He believes Trump manufactured a crisis, as local law enforcement didn't request additional resources, and is moving towards a constitutional crisis. Regarding threats of arrest, the speaker challenges Hohman to arrest him, telling him to "lay your hands off four year old girls that are trying to get educated." He says he has had no communication with Hohman.

Speaker 0: I mean, you're seeing these authoritarian tendencies now are being acted out by this administration, and we're case in point as it relates to nationalizing, federalizing the National Guard, threatening now to put in marines. So I hope these people would pause and just consider. Now some of them, they want that kind of chaos. Some ways, they're adjacent to where Donald Trump is. But the peaceful protesters, we wanna keep them safe. We want them to exercise their fundamental rights. We want to keep those that are enforcing the laws in a respectful and responsible way also safe. But Donald Trump needs to pull back. He needs to stand down. Donald Trump is inflaming these conditions. This is Donald Trump's problem right now. And if he can't solve it, we will. Speaker 1: He continues to, as always, hit you hard publicly. Just ten minutes ago, he put out another truth social telling you and the mayor to apologize to the people of Los Angeles. You guys go at it pretty hard publicly, but I know you talk privately. Have you spoken in the last couple of days to the president about any of this? Speaker 0: Yeah. We no. Well, we we talked for almost twenty minutes, and he barely this issue never came up. I mean, I kept trying to talk about LA. He wanted to talk about all these other issues. We had a very decent conversation. Speaker 1: When was this? Speaker 0: This was late Friday night. I think about 01:30 plus his time. Speaker 1: After the protest had started. Speaker 0: After the protest. And he never once brought up the National Guard. He's a stone cold liar. He said he did. Stone cold liar. Never did. It was a very civil conversation. I've always wanted to approach engagement with the president of The United States in a respectful and responsible way. But there's no working with the president. There's only working for him, and I will never work for Donald Trump. Speaker 1: Did you mention at all to him in that phone call on Friday night the types of raids that were happening in your state on Friday? You know, there are reports that and video of enforcement operations happening in ways that they haven't traditionally. ICE officers going to home depots around Los Angeles and picking off day laborers. Did you bring that up with him? Speaker 0: I we the conversation started with the frame of what's happening in LA. He immediately pivoted to other interests and other things that You Speaker 1: think he was aware of what was happening in Las Vegas? Speaker 0: I'm thinking I'm more than aware. And, obviously, he was setting this up to take these additional steps. Speaker 1: This was a setup. Speaker 0: And well, I'm not saying he was setting things up. I'm not saying it was a setup. But, clearly, they were in the process of moving to these next steps because out of nowhere, just meant few hours after that conversation, he moves to pull the trigger under this this this construct under title 10 and and then created and exacerbated the conditions that are persisting today. Speaker 1: This is your authority normally to deploy the National Guard here. You did it. We were together after the fires, and those National Guard troops have been out all across Los Angeles working to rebuild and recover this city. How did you find out that the president of The United States was gonna usurp your authority and deploy your National Guard here in California? Speaker 0: I just I got a call from a staffer. No heads up whatsoever. And, again, we're here to support local law enforcement. There's a mutual aid process. Local law enforcement had no needs. They were not requesting any additional resources. I've got a 100 now I have a 175 CHP officers, technically trained officers, tactical teams to address Donald Trump's mess. We are here to support local law enforcement, the sheriff's office, LAPD, but they didn't need that support. He made this up. This is a manufactured crisis in order to get under the intent to start to stretch credulity and to begin the process of moving inevitably towards a constitutional questioning crisis around posse commentatis. And it's, I think, inevitable that's where he's going. Speaker 1: Tom Hohman, the border czar said to me yesterday, he he did not rule out literally arresting you Yep. Nor mayor Bass if you interfere in his Well, why haven't you yet. Speaker 0: He's a tough guy. Why doesn't he do that? He knows where to find me. But you know what? Lay your hands off four year old girls that are trying to get educated. Lay your hands off these poor people. They're just trying to get live their lives, man. Trying to live their lives, paying their taxes. Been here ten years. The fear, the horror. The hell is this guy? Come after me. Arrest me. Let's just get it over with. Tough guy. You know? I don't give a damn, but I care about my community. I care about this community. The hell are they doing? These guys need to grow up. They need to stop, and we need to push back. And I'm sorry to be so clear, but that kind of bloviating is exhausting. So, Tom, arrest me. Let's go. Speaker 1: The perception is there's a lot of theatrics happening out there. Mayor Bass told me that she spoke directly to Tom Oman. Has he reached out to you? Have you reached out to him? No. No communication whatsoever? Speaker 0: No. It's direct communication and back and with Susie Wiles and and with the president in a phone conversation.

Daugaard once vetoed a bill aimed at keeping men out of women’s restrooms and has publicly criticized Trump. In contrast, America First candidate Toby McGarry is also running for the position. The race is shaping up to be one of the most significant to watch in 2026.

This week, @Liz_Cheney’s best friend @RepDustyJohnson announced his campaign for Governor of South Dakota. Rep. Dusty Johnson is a massive RINO. He was introduced at his campaign kickoff by former South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard @SDGovDaugaard. Duagaard once vetoed a bill to keep men out of women’s restrooms. Duagaard is also a rabid never-Trumper who once called on President Trump to drop out of the Presidential election so people could vote for @Mike_Pence instead. America First candidate @TobyForSD is also running for Governor of South Dakota. It will be one of the top races to watch in 2026.

It is an honor to be here to publicly support Dusty Johnson. Leadership isn't about attention seeking, personal achievement, or ladder climbing; it's about work and results, which is how Dusty Johnson leads. As governor, Dusty helped cut $127,000,000 from the state budget and get it back in balance without raising taxes or cutting vital services by getting people together, finding consensus, and listening to different perspectives, always putting South Dakota first. Dusty understands the values we all grew up with: faith, family, hard work, and humility. He leads with integrity and emotional security. Dusty brings a clear road map for South Dakota rooted in conservative principles, thoughtful policy, and South Dakota common sense.

Speaker 0: Thank you, Will. Linda said I should lean into the microphone, but I think my jacket is loud enough that you're gonna be able to hear me quite well. The good news is I just have one piece of paper. As Henry VIII said to his many wives, I won't keep you long. See, seriously now, it is an honor, it is an honor to be on this stage and to be with all of you, so many friends. Wow. Coming in today, it was just like old home week. It was just wonderful. I'm excited to publicly support someone I know, respect, and trust, Dusty Johnson. Throughout throughout my time in public service, I've always believed that leadership isn't about attention seeking or about personal achievement or ladder climbing. It's about work and results. That's how I tried to lead as your governor, and I can tell you that's exactly how Dusty Johnson leads. When he speaks, he speaks with purpose. When he listens, he listens with respect. And when he works, he works harder than almost anyone I know. For the people of South Dakota, not for himself. As my chief of staff, Dusty helped me cut 127,000,000 from our state budget and get it back in balance without raising taxes and without cutting vital services either. But by doing what great leaders do, getting people together, finding consensus about ways that the work can be done, and listening to different perspectives, always putting South Dakota first. That's the kind of common sense conservative leadership you'll get in Dusty Johnson. But Dusty isn't just smart and capable, he's grounded. He understands the values we all grew up with. Faith, family, hard work, humility. He represents those values every day and he leads with integrity and emotional security, maturity. In a time when politics can be loud and divisive, Dusty brings something better, a clear road map a clear road map for South Dakotan rooted in conservative principles, thoughtful policy, and South Dakota common sense. That's why I am proud, very proud to support him, and I hope you'll join me in supporting Dusty Johnson for governor. And now it's my pleasure to introduce the real power behind the throne, Max, Ben, and Owen Johnson.

South Dakota values hard work, conservative principles, and integrity. As a congressman, I cut wasteful spending, supported President Trump's border security policies, and took a firm stance against China. To ensure a bright future for South Dakota's children, we need better schools that prioritize students, opportunities for higher education, and safe communities through law enforcement support and the removal of fentanyl. We must also support farmers and ranchers, eliminate waste in state government, and reduce government intervention to foster growth. By governing with conservative values, we can create jobs, businesses, and opportunities statewide. I'm Dusty Johnson, and I'm running for governor to implement this plan through hard work, common sense, and conservative leadership.

Speaker 0: South Dakota is a special place where hard work, conservative common sense, and firm handshakes are a way of life. That's why it's been such an honor to work for you in Congress. We rolled up our sleeves and got things moving in the right direction, cutting trillions in wasteful spending, standing with president Trump to secure our border, and finally getting tough on China. Those were important fights to build a better country for our kids, but their future doesn't begin in some faraway place. It begins here, at home, in South Dakota. That's why we need to hit the gas and give them a clear path to a bright future. Better schools that put students first. The opportunity to go to college or tech school. Safe communities by supporting law enforcement, getting fentanyl off our streets, and sending folks who are here illegally back home. Ensuring our farmers and ranchers can succeed and pass their love of the land on to the next generation. Running out waste in our state government so it's efficient, effective, responsive and transparent. Getting government out of the way so South Dakota can build again. Now is the time to dream big. To grow, to build, to believe in a bright future for South Dakota. Because by governing with conservative values, we can create new jobs, new businesses, and new opportunities in every community. But it's gonna take hard work, a real plan, South Dakota common sense, and solid conservative leadership. I'm Dusty Johnson, and I'm running to be your governor so we can start this journey together today.

Southern California once felt like paradise, but poor leadership has turned it into a shadow of its former self. To restore “The Golden State,” we need strong law enforcement, though it seems we'll have to achieve this without support from our leaders.

@KariLake - Kari Lake

Southern California used to look like heaven on earth, but failed leadership has made it look more like a zombie apocalypse. We've got to bring “The Golden State” back, and it's going to take STRONG law enforcement actions to make that happen. Sadly, It looks they're going to have to do it without the help of California's "leaders."

ICE raided MacArthur Park in Los Angeles, described as a migrant camp with drugs, illegals, graffiti, and needles. A body was recently found in the lake. Democrats are accused of gaslighting the public by portraying the park as a playground and picnic spot. One speaker says Southern California is resembling a zombie apocalypse with drugged-out people and illegals. Despite the Democrats' outrage, the speaker believes that the people of California, including Democrat citizens, are happy to see the park cleaned up and want to bring California back through strong law enforcement actions. The speaker suggests that whatever Karen Bass is upset about, most people in Los Angeles and California are likely happy about the cleanup.

Speaker 0: But Monday, ICE raided MacArthur Park in Los Angeles. I used to live out that way. Dems have been gaslighting the American people on this story so hard. We saw Swalwell saying that it's not a war zone. It's a playground, a picnic spot, a community spot. In reality, MacArthur Park is a dump. It is a migrant camp. The residents living in the area hate the park. It's full of drugs. It's full of illegals in their tents. It's full of graffiti and needles. Look at this. This some of the video that we've seen here from recently from this park. Just last week, a body was found in the lake that you just saw. Wow. And ICE is going in there and cleaning it up, and you have democrats claiming that this is such a beautiful park. How dare you come through here? Speaker 1: You know, it's if you've been to Southern California, I have many times is looking more and more like a zombie apocalypse between the drugged out people who are roaming the streets and the illegals that have taken over, and the people of California are welcoming this. Now the Democrats and the radicals on the left might be acting like this is terrible, but I'm telling you, the people, including Democrat citizens, are happy to see this cleaned up. We're gonna bring California back, and it's gonna take some law, you know, strong law enforcement actions like we're seeing right now. Speaker 0: Yeah. Whatever Karen Bass is upset about, you can assume that a majority of the people in the city of Los Angeles and in Greater California are probably happy about it. Even if they voted for her, they're probably saying, man, this is kinda nice to clean all this nonsense up. Carrie, good to see you. Thanks so much. Speaker 1: Thanks.

Speaker 0: My message is Gavin Newsom. I am going to expose you for the complete fraud that you are, the liar that you are, and you will never ever be the president of this country. You will never do to the rest of the country what you have done to California. California's problems are completely caused by California government. We have the greatest businesses. We have the greatest people. We have the greatest business minds, the the greatest innovators, the greatest creators, the greatest entrepreneurs in the country. We have the fourth largest economy that is is artificially propped up to be something good, and the thing that is preventing us from being great, from achieving that California dream that we once that I came here for, that the only thing preventing us is government. Government has its boot on our backs keeping us down with overregulation, activism, appeasement of activists instead of taking care of the majority of Californians as a whole, and it's an agenda. It is a complete agenda of making sure that government is in control of all of our lives instead of us being in control of government. And so the only reason I'm doing this is to restore that balance. The balance is supposed to be that government is supposed to be working for us. We are not supposed to be working to increase the size of government, and that's the only reason why California is no longer the greatest state in the country. You can you can have our politicians say it as much as they want, but we are the laughing stock of the rest of the country. We are the laughing stock of the world. My wife and I were fortunate enough to go to Europe last year, and we had a the first night there, splurged. We had an unbelievable dinner with a we we paid for a sommelier to come in and make sure that we learned everything about Italian wine and all of that stuff. The first introductions, where are you from? California, and he laughed. And he said, you guys have that crazy governor. And we're just looking at each other like how would someone across the world know that we have a lunatic for a governor. So we started talking about it and he's like he's like everyone wants to go to The United States and it used to be everyone wants to go to California. Here no one wants to go to California anymore. They'll go California for Disneyland. That's it. And it it's embarrassing. It's absolutely embarrassing that we are no longer the greatest state in the country, and we're still all the same people. We're still all the same businesses. It's our government that has completely changed and brought us to this laughing stock position, and I'm going to take it back. I have to I take I take some blame for it because I wasn't standing on the rooftops yelling to everyone that we had to stop this, stop this, look look what's going to happen. And so while I was concerned with my career, my life, my family, my own home, and making sure that I was secure, I kind of just wasn't paying attention to what government was doing and now it's affecting everyone. So I will make sure that what I came to California for my California dream, I will make sure that every kid growing up now has that dream and even the kids that now are from 20 to 35 that it's impossible for them to make their California dream. I'll make sure that I make up for it and we return the ability to look at that that Gold Coast as the beacon for the rest of the country. And if you're gonna make it, come to California to make it and you work hard and you'll do it. That has to happen again, and that's really the only reason I'm running for governor.
