Hunter Biden reported earning approximately $2.4 million in 2017 and $2.2 million in 2018, with the majority of his income coming from Chinese and Ukrainian interests. This contradicts Joe Biden's statement during the 2020 debate with Donald Trump, where he denied his son making money from China. However, Trump was correct in stating that Hunter Biden did accumulate wealth from China, while Joe Biden's claim was incorrect.

Speaker 0: Paid substantial sums from Chinese companies. Kessler wrote, Hunter Biden reported nearly 2,400,000 in income in 2017 and 2,200,000 in income in 2018, most of which came from Chinese or Ukrainian interests. But and this directly goes against what Joe Biden said in the debate in 2020, with, Donald Trump, take a listen. My son has not made money in terms of this thing about, what are you talking about? China. What do you mean by that, president? He made a fortune in Ukraine, in China, in Moscow, and various other places. So it's from 2 different debates. But I mean, Trump was right. I mean, he did make a fortune from China and Joe Biden was wrong.

Trump gave a remarkable speech, comparable to Churchill's Gettysburg Address, announcing the killing of the ISIS leader. Emerging from the situation room at midnight, he confidently addressed the press, proclaiming "Abu Bakar Outback daddy is dead. He died like a dog." The speech lasted 40 minutes, during which Trump delivered a series of harsh insults to Abu and mocked his crying. Trump expressed that he wouldn't have cried in Abu's position. Overall, it was a bold and memorable speech.

Obviously, we like to see a regime change, at least I would in Iran, just as I would like to see in Iraq. The question now is a practical question. What is the best place to proceed? It's not a question of whether Iraq's regime should be taken out, but when should it be taken out? It's not a question of whether you'd like to see a regime change in Iran, but how Speaker 0: do any other nations that you would recommend that the United States launch preemptive attacks upon at this point? Speaker 1: The answer is categorically yes. The, the 2 nations that are vying, competing with each other, who will be the first to achieve nuclear weapons, is Iraq and Iran. But, a third nation, by the way, is Libya as well. Libya is, trying very rapidly to build, an atomic bomb capability. So you have here now 3 names. We're discussing an executive order to unlock Alaska's energy potential, including ANWR. Regarding TikTok, if I don't approve a deal, it becomes worthless. If I do approve it, it could be valued at a trillion dollars, and the U.S. should get half. The CEO of TikTok might be open to this partnership, which would allow the U.S. to oversee operations. While there are concerns about data privacy, I believe TikTok's value is significant if approved. We have 90 days to decide, and if we create value, we deserve a share. Meanwhile, I question Biden's lack of press conferences, as he hasn't held any like this.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Very long way. Oh, look at that. It says TikTok. My my my. What is that all about? Speaker 1: First, we have Alaska, sir. This is an executive order relating to unleashing Alaska's potential as an energy reservoir for the entire nation. Speaker 0: And what about ANWR? Speaker 1: I believe that would be included in aspects of the order. Speaker 0: So we're opening up Anwar. Speaker 1: On the other TikTok piece, president Trump, you and your members of your team now used to warn about the dangers of TikTok spying on Americans. What changed that you're not worried about that anymore? Speaker 0: Well, it depends on the deal. I mean, I may not do the deal or I may do the deal. TikTok is worthless. Worthless. If I don't approve it, it has to close. I learned that from the people that own it. If it if I don't do the deal, it's worthless. Worth nothing. If I do the deal, it's worth maybe a $1,000,000,000,000 a trillion. So if I do the deal for the I'm talking about doing it for the United States. If I do the deal for the United States, then I think we should get half. Speaker 1: The TikTok's easier. Speaker 0: In other words, wait. I think the US should be entitled to get half of TikTok. And congratulations, TikTok has a good partner. And that would be worth, you know, could be $500,000,000,000 or something. It's crazy. The numbers are crazy. But it's worthless if I don't if the president doesn't sign, then it's worthless. If the president does sign, it's worth maybe a $1,000,000,000,000. So I think, like a joint venture, I think we would have a joint venture with the people from TikTok. We'll see what happens. I mean, that's one of many ideas I've heard. Speaker 1: The CEO is now and did he say that he's open to that idea? Who? The CEO of TikTok is around? Speaker 0: Oh, I think he'd probably like it. Because he's got nothing. They really have nothing. It it's passed in Congress. It gives the president the right to make it make a deal or to close it. And we have 90 days to make that decision. But I could see, making the deal where the US gets 50% of TikTok, polices it a little bit or a lot. Depends on them. But remember, they make telephones in China. They make, all sorts of things in China. Nobody ever complains about that. Here, they're complaining about this. So many different products made in China. Nobody ever complained about it. The only one they complain about is TikTok. And TikTok is largely young people. I guess I have a warm spot for TikTok that I didn't have originally. But, you know, I went on TikTok and I won young people up by 36%, Peter. And Republicans typically don't do too well with young people, but it's a different Republican party. Speaker 1: Would the US Treasury buy a portion of TikTok then? Or how would it get that 50 percent? Speaker 0: No. You'd you'd take 50% of TikTok for the approval that TikTok can continue in business. And they'd have a great partner. The US would be their partner. But the US essentially would be paid for doing that half of the value of TikTok. Speaker 1: Would there be a private sector owner as well? Speaker 0: Could be. Yeah. Could be a lot. Tell you what, every rich person has called me about TikTok. Speaker 1: You wanted to block TikTok. Why did you change your mind? Speaker 0: Because I got to use it. And remember, TikTok is largely about kids, young kids. If China's gonna get information about young kids, I don't know. Speaker 1: Are you Speaker 0: I think I think Chinese To be honest with you, I think we have bigger problems than that. But but, you know, when you take a look at telephones that are made in China and all the other things that are made in China, military equipment made in China, TikTok I think TikTok, is not their biggest problem. But there's big value in TikTok if it gets approved. If it doesn't get approved, there's no value. So if we create that value, why aren't we entitled to, like, half? Speaker 1: Sir, do you need to do I mean, you don't have to get you to shut them down? Speaker 0: Does Biden ever do news conferences like this? How many news conferences, Peter, has he done like this? Like this. None. 0. And it would be 0 for the next infinity. Speaker 1: For Speaker 0: infinity, it would be 0.

There are no exact numbers yet on how many federal workers have accepted the buyout offer, but initial briefings suggest a significant response. The goal is to reform the hiring process to ensure dedicated federal employees. Regarding directives on pronouns in emails, this aligns with the president's stance on biological sex. There are ongoing concerns about trade imbalances with Mexico and Canada, particularly related to national security and fentanyl trafficking. The administration acknowledges the weaponization of law enforcement against Trump and his supporters. There are no current negotiations to avoid tariffs. If government employees are relieved of duty, they lose access to payment systems to prevent unauthorized transactions. The president supports pro-American immigration that benefits the economy and promotes social cohesion, while illegal immigration is not tolerated.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: Accept it. Speaker 1: Oh, you have any numbers yet? On the number of people who've accepted the buyout, do you have any even big number of how many people are accepting it? Any any numbers at all? Speaker 0: I don't have an exact number for you, and I wouldn't wanna give you an inaccurate estimate. That's a good question, and you should get a number soon, I hope, but I will tell you that I the initial briefings that I've received suggested a large number of federal workers have accepted the buyout offer, and I think the point here to really underscore is that federal workers who are not happy in their jobs, who don't want to show up at work, who do not want to be in the office, who are not passionate about what they're doing, or obviously not the kind of federal worker you want, responsible for, having enormous authority over the lives of the American people. And so this is happening in conjunction with a wholesale reform of the hiring process in the federal government to find people who are really dedicated to service at the absolute highest level. Speaker 1: And Steve, I have another question. Can you confirm that the administration has ordered some federal workers across some agencies to drop pronouns in your emails as, of course, part of the, the deep text orders that represent your Speaker 0: Yes. I believe that the directive you're referring to is consistent with the president's day one executive order on recognizing that there are only male and female sexes in the country and that well, in the world, for all of humanity, but his story is just on this country. And that your sex is your biological sex that is 1 and the second. Speaker 1: So you don't have that in the, the president is meeting with, Speaker 2: the president of New Media today? Speaker 1: I don't Speaker 0: have any update on that. Sorry. Speaker 1: Can you explain the circumstances surrounding the departure of a top ranking treasury department official today, long time career service service? Speaker 0: No. Nothing to add on that subject. Speaker 1: Oh, Larry, I'm sorry. I didn't say anything. Yes. On how you're viewing the rollout of tomorrow's tariffs and how conversations with Mexico and Canada in particular are progressing at this point given some of the comments we've heard from their leaders today in preparation for their own plans? Speaker 0: Well, I mean, as far as the the rollout, I mean, just to clarify what you mean by the rollout. Speaker 1: Are you considering are you considering section 232 tariffs as part of this? Speaker 0: Oh, I don't wanna get into the details. It's not for me to brief on what the details of how this can be done are, but there have obviously been long standing trade imbalances with these trading partners that have been long running in the systemic and that affect our national security by eroding our defense industrial base and eroding our manufacturing base. And also, there are even greater concerns with national security and public safety, particular, in particular, they're not limited to fentanyl, which of course is a weapon of mass destruction in this country and is killing more Americans than have died in our wars overseas, throughout our nation's history. And we know that there's a sophisticated network of criminal cartels operating on our border that traffic fentanyl in the United States. And we also know that the precursors to make that fentanyl, is coming from overseas. And so, a, you have a a wide array of entities and organizations that have infiltrated our country and are killing our citizens in mass. And we know as well that cartels have functional control, like a government, over a large swaths of Mexican Mexican territory, which bravely imperils our own national security and public safety. Speaker 1: From Canada. From Canada. To security. The FBI and the intelligence of investigating president Trump. Speaker 0: Well, with respect to the FBI, and I would just say to the law enforcement intelligence community in general, it's clear that there has been vast weaponization of the law enforcement apparatus against president Trump, against president Trump's family, his staff, conservatives in general, republicans in general, and the American people. This was litigated for 4 years, right, from 2021 through the election. The question of the weaponization of the justice system. Of course, it started back in 2017. But there was a whole period of the Biden presidency. This was probably the most discussed and litigated issue, and the American people read there an overwhelming verdict on the question of whether or not we need to clean ranks in our law enforcement intelligence communities and ensure that the partisan weaponization of our justice system ends. Are there Speaker 1: any tools underway right now to try and avoid those tariffs? Any negotiations underway with Canada and Mexico? Speaker 0: Nothing to add, Amasa. Let me take 2 more questions. Speaker 1: Can I be back on the economic impact of the career officials are being locked out of payment systems at various government agencies? Can you explain what's going on? Speaker 0: Well, I would say just as a general matter, that if somebody is trying to send money to, for example, a foreign country that is not authorized, that would be obviously a grave violation, not only of the agency rules, not only of an executive order, but potentially even the law. And if an individual has been relieved of duty, hypothetically, or has been placed on leave and is still trying to send taxpayer dollars overseas, that obviously would be an extremely serious infraction. But a standard protocol, of course, if someone has been placed on leave to lose access to your devices, we're talking about people who have the ability with the press of a button to send 1,000,000,000 of dollars to foreign countries. Alright. One more question. Speaker 1: Can we get a here. Can you take it? Yesterday, the, president said that the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo is very serious. Can you elaborate a little more? Speaker 0: I can't add anything to his statement this time, but we should follow-up with you on that. Speaker 1: And we'll have to wait for Speaker 0: a few questions. Speaker 1: So would you Speaker 3: say that part of the administration's goal is, goal is, of course, to crack down on illegal immigration, but to curb legal immigration as well? Speaker 0: The president has been clear with respect to legal immigration that his view is he wants pro American immigration. Immigration that supports the economy, that assimilates to our national values, in which there's no welfare use, there's no drain on taxpayers, and it promotes social cohesion, patriotism, and assimilation in the country. In other words, we as a nation, like any nation, have the right to select newcomers based on who will provide the most value to the country and the citizens who are already living here. That's the president's policy. And, of course, with illegal immigration, the answer is none. 0. No illegal immigrants have lied to the country at all. Thank you, everybody.

We're asking federal departments and agencies to review their procurement processes, and our domestic policy counsel will conduct a holistic review. The problem affects everyday Americans. This has cost both the government and private industry an absolute ton of money and left consumers all over the country wildly dissatisfied with their straws. So we're asking aspects of the federal government, federal departments and agencies to look at their existing procurement processes and we're asking your domestic policy counsel to look holistically at this issue to address it and it really is something that affects ordinary Americans in their everyday lives. Video Transcript AI Summary
Tammy Bruce stated that Israel had a ceasefire on October 6th, but on October 7th, there was a massacre. She claims Israel is the most careful nation and that reports from the Gaza health ministry should be distrusted because they are Hamas terrorists. Bruce criticized the White House for pushing Israel to pause its war against Hamas, comparing it to asking a firefighter to stop a fire halfway through. Bruce believes abandoning Israel would inspire Russia, Iran, and other terrorist groups. She identifies Iran as the heart of terrorism in the Middle East. Bruce attributes campus antisemitism to an infection on the left and argues that chants like "from the river to the sea" are hate crimes meant to terrorize Jews. Bruce says there is no ethnic difference between Palestinians and other Arabs, suggesting that Jordan or other Arab states could serve as a Palestinian state. She believes the two-state solution is a political argument used by terrorist groups to undermine Israel's safety.

But now for the Jews, take a pause. Asking Israel to stop at this point is like asking a firefighter to stop a fire halfway through. It you have to stop the fire completely. And if we're gonna abandon Israel, that's a betrayal. This inspires Russia and Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood and cells that are in this country, terrorist gangs attacking Israel. Yes. They're a democracy, but my goodness, this is an attack on civilization. And this is and in order to really be able to deal with that, Ashley, you've got to be able to deal with Iran. That is that is the heart of the tumor of the cancer of terrorism in The Middle East. And there I understand the argument from people who say, we need to stay out of this. No more forever wars, that this is none of our business. In fact, we saw that with Afghanistan and Al Qaeda. We did nothing. We did nothing with Bin Laden, and then September 11 happens. It is now a global village. Things that happen in other places affect us, and the same now with Hamas. And it's not just The Middle East. It is Russia and Ukraine. It is China and what they will do with Taiwan. And and it's a it's fat boy in North Korea giving weapons over to to Russia. Donald Trump stood up to Iran. They knew that he was serious. We got Soleimani and al Baghdadi. He was able to frighten the world's worst actors, and that's what America's gotta be able to do. Speaker 1: Tammy, what's going on at colleges across the country, and since when did we ignore a heinous act of terror that killed more than 1,400 people and support a terrorist group. Speaker 4: This is not new. It didn't just suddenly appear. This is the result of the infection on the left. We see it with, yes, the squad in Washington, and we see it in this environment. The argument here, of course, is nothing is really about a free Palestine. Because you you can accomplish that without murdering babies and slitting their throats. This is about the Jewish people, and that is what underlies this is Jew hatred. With Democrats and friends of mine and others, Barry Weiss has written about this, others have on on the free press, is a feeling amongst liberals, especially Jewish liberals, of betrayal. You know, the free press run by Barry Weiss also had a very good analogy. If we had had a racist group then march to celebrate Dylann Roof and the murder of those black Americans in that church, there would have been universal outrage. It would have been rejected. And yet, when it comes to Jews, they won't do it. We also understand what it costs now to go to these schools. Hundreds of percentage points of of increase, inflation of what these colleges now cost. For what? To teach your child how to get arrested? To teach them how to be a bigot? To teach them how to injure and frighten a Jew? Is that why you're paying $50,000 a year for Jews to be the ones who are removed from an environment and told effectively to hide in the attic and do your work there is outrageous. Having to appease Jew haters to keep your job. Speaker 2: Wow. Wow. Speaker 4: What how what what who are you and what kind of moral foundation exists? Ouch. And that's the issue. We've all grown up with this idea of never again. We've learned about what humanity could could do, about what Hitler could do, about what, you know, an an important ancient European civilization could do. Part of what I think is happening is that people don't want to admit that it is happening again. Look, some of us have been writing about this for decades. You were warned that this was happening and it was coming. David Horowitz, myself, Mamet, Andrew, multiple other people who've come out saying, this is what we see. Beware. Americans are united on the issue, not just of Israel. This is about Jew hatred and crimes against humanity. Chants like from the river to the sea, which calls for the destruction of Israel and by many people, of course, then the resulting annihilation of the Jewish people. Sydney, gas the Jews out here from the river to the sea. It is messages of extinction. I contend that when it comes to the displays and the marches and people walking around with the Hamas gear and the scarves, and that is a hate crime. That is meant to replicate the fear and the terror against Jews, not just here, but worldwide. Say, boy, you gotta have an underlying crime. Intimidation, harassment, that is it's the entire package. We've got to admit this. Speaker 2: What should our position be with respect to trying to bring peace to Israel and and find some sort of way of negotiating or helping to negotiate a deal between Israel and Palestine? Speaker 4: The problem is that what people saw with the Gaza Strip, the establishment of that, a lot of people said that's gonna become a man pad for terrorism. That's exactly what happened. Ethn ethnically, there is no difference between the so called Palestinians and the average Arab. You want a second state? It's Jordan. It's Saudi Arabia. It's Iraq. You have ethnic differences with the Persians, with the Kurds, but, the people there in the Gaza Strip are Arabs. So, I mean, this is an interesting kind of shiny squirrel, if you will, when it comes to the nature of what's occurring there. Israel is the size of Connecticut. When you look at the nature of the of the landmass of the Middle East, the idea that there has to be another state right there is, I think, just a political argument. It's an argument for for those Arabs and especially for Hamas, the terrorist groups as well that are funded and and supported by Iran as a way in to kind of squeeze Israel even more. The issue be has to be an end to terrorism and making sure Israel is safe in the process of this dynamic, not the not this two state solution argument. Speaker 2: So there you say there should never be a two state solution. Speaker 4: Well, I think that there's multiple states already and Israel. Speaker 2: Jordan is already the Palestinian. Speaker 4: Well, well, it's again, there is no ethnic Palestinian. They're Arabs. They're exactly as the Jordans, as the Jordanians, and the Saudis. And so people get this idea that the the Palestinians are some kind of displaced ethnic minority. No. They're not.

Let me be clear, I don't care if I offend anyone. The media can write whatever they want about me; it doesn't bother me. I'm often asked if it bothers me that a large part of the country hates me, but I don't care because we have a job to do. For the past four years, I've been angry because the Biden administration deliberately unsecured what was the most secure border in my lifetime. Every president I worked for, starting with Ronald Reagan, took steps to secure the border because they understood the importance of border security for national security. Joe Biden is the first president to intentionally undo that. But that changes November 5th. Now, I wake up excited because I'm working for the greatest president of my lifetime, Donald J. Trump.

Speaker 0: How you doing? Look. Let me start out by saying this. If I offend anybody today, I don't give a shit. Don't care. The media in the backroom, I'm sure I'll be reading a lot of hip pieces on pit pieces on me tomorrow. I don't give a shit what you think about me. I get asked all the time, does it does it bother you as a big, part of this country that hate your guts? I don't care. I don't care because we got a job too. You know, I wake up every day for the last four years pissed off because the Biden administration took the most secure border in my lifetime and unsecured it on purpose. Right? I worked for six presidents starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president I ever worked for took steps to secure the border. Even Clinton Obama took steps to secure the border because they clearly understood you can't have national security without border security. They got it. Joe Biden is the first president in the history of the nation who came into office and unsecured the border on purpose. So for four years, I wake up every day pissed off. That changed November 5. Now wake up every day excited because I work for the greatest president of my lifetime, Donald j Trump.

I was honored to witness President Trump stand up for American interests, defending us from being fleeced and taken for granted. Zelensky's impertinence and disrespect towards the U.S. were shocking. He should be thanking us. The only reason Zelensky has power is because of the United States. Americans have suffered economically funding this war, depleting our resources and negatively affecting our ability to project power elsewhere. Instead of gratitude, Zelensky lectured us, demanding more and pushing for a never-ending war with Russia. No American wants their children dying for Zelensky. President Trump rightly insisted on being a partner for peace, asserting American interests and defending the American people from a potential World War III. He showed the world what strong American leadership looks like.

Speaker 0: Steven Miller. Steven, did you have any clue that Zelensky was gonna come in hot like this? Speaker 1: I don't think anybody had any idea that Zelensky would be so impertinent, so disrespectful, so insulting to The United States Of America. Look. This is one of the great moments in the history of American diplomacy. The way that president Trump and J. D. Vance stood up for American interest in the world stage, the way that president Trump defended Americans after years of being fleeced and abused and taken advantage of and taken for granted, millions of American hearts swelled with overflowing pride today to watch president Trump put Zelensky in his place. The only reason that Zelensky has a country, that Zelensky is in power, is because of The United States. Americans have suffered economically funding this war now for years. American security has been degraded. Our stockpiles depleted. Our ability to project power in other regions of the world negatively affected to protect and defend Ukraine. Americans probably don't even know the true extent of just how much military support on multiple levels and fronts America has provided to Ukraine. And then this man shows up in the Oval Office and lectures us, says we have to do more, says we're not as good as Europe, says that we need to provide them a forever war guarantee, fight Russia till the end of time. No American watching that today says they wanna send their sons and daughters to die on behalf of Zelensky. And president Trump was clear and firm and principled, saying either you're our partner for peace in ending this war or we can't work with you. And Zelensky, for the first time since this has begun, finally met a Western leader willing to assert their own interests, the interests of their own country, and not bow down to and venerate this man as a messianic figure. Americans have watched with horror as Zelensky has been treated as a messiah. Our hearts all break for the suffering and loss and death. But you know what will be even worse? World War three. And today, president Trump said we are not going to let this escalate into World War three. He defended the Oval Office. He defended the White House. And most importantly, he defended the American people. And I was honored and proud to be there to witness this moment in history. Speaker 0: You know, what was so confusing is that Zelenskyy doesn't have a second option. It's not like there's other great nations that he can just turn to to sponsor this proxy war. He doesn't even have Europeans willing to step up and help him out to the level that we are. So to me, this was a kamikaze mission. It was almost like he was unbalanced to come in here and explode like that. Any normal, rational person would have come in, been gracious, shown some gratitude, where do I sign, let's move forward, and let's get this deal done. The fact that he didn't do that kind of scares me. Speaker 1: He he couldn't even say thank you. No. He just couldn't say thank you. Thank you, America. That's like diplomacy one by That's Speaker 0: what they tell you to say on the plane. You're about to meet the president. He loves to hear thank you. The American people need to hear that. Say that right away. Speaker 1: But, I mean, it was it was not just that though. There were many remarkable and disturbing things that Zelenskyy said. He repeatedly rejected president Trump's statement that we should pursue a ceasefire. Right. How could you reject a ceasefire? And and, you know, he kept saying Europe's doing so much more than us. Well, then what do you need us for? If he's saying Europe's so great, then why are you coming and begging and pleading to us for money and protection and guarantees? President Trump is a peacemaker. He will fight for peace. He had peace for four years under his previous term. And today, we saw what it's like to have a strong leader in the White House, and the whole world saw what it's like to have a strong leader for America. Speaker 0: Alright. Well, I think they're gonna patch things up. Maybe I'm too optimistic, but I think

It is also true that many people in this room who have used this talking point that Elon is not elected failed to understand how government works. The illegal aliens he brought in from Venezuela, from Haiti, from Nicaragua, they are not doing farm work. Are in our cities collecting welfare. As for the farmers, there is a guest worker program that president Trump supports. Over time as well, you will transition into automation, so we'll never have to have this conversation ever again. But there's no universe in which this nation is going to allow the previous president to flood our nation with millions and millions of illegal aliens who just get to stay here, and we are especially not going to allow a subset of those illegal aliens to rape and murder our citizens. There is probably no entity in the government that is more of an entrenched power center of unelected bureaucrats with less accountability, less oversight than USAID. They funnel money to their cronies all over the world through a swampy network of NGOs, nongovernmental nongovernmental organizations. What Democrats are saying is they oppose democracy itself. They oppose the idea that the American people can elect a man, in this case, our president Donald Trump, to reform the government according to the will of the people. This a battle between the will of the people through their president Donald Trump. No. And the will of an unelected federal bureaucracy. So we and president Trump are on the side of democracy.

Speaker 0: Way. The president has been trying to provoke violence here, right here, in the black communities and in the brown communities, having ICE kidnap our neighbors, having black having the black community be harassed and profiled and want, want a response. We say, hell no. We won't go. Speaker 1: Hell no. We won't go. Hell no. We won't no. We won't go. Speaker 0: When we say we won't go, that mean we're not going into their to those mass incarcerated into into their prisons and Speaker 1: Hell no. We won't go. Hell no. We won't go. Hell no. We won't go. Speaker 0: Today, we get today today, we gather to speak plainly about policy path that sounds strong, but in truth, it weakens the very safety we see. We believe there is a better way to protect us all. One that respects rights to build trust and keep our communities truly safe and that is fascism free. Free is not a road map to safety. It is a burial. It fails it fails hardest on the black communities that already repair disproportionate share of surveillance, stops, and forces. Speaker 1: This is Speaker 0: a I wanna be clear. We've been here before. This is a long history. Well before today, the black communities brand the brunt of aggressive policing. Right. Data and reports from many credible organizations show patterns. Black people are more likely to be stopped, searched, questioned, arrested, and harmed encounters with the law. When we add the president of federal agents or the national guard to daily life in these neighborhoods, the burden can multiply. Not by making harm more rare, but making it more visible and more likely to escalate. So be clear. This has been going on. But as you bring more policemen, it's gonna escalate. Black Washingtonians have long recognized that community violence cannot be solved through state violence and have asked for meaningful investments and solutions that are proven to work. Racist over policing goes beyond DC as the roots of American policing in many regions like in slave patrol. Police have been enslaving and murdering black people with freedom for punishment for centuries. I stand in front of you today with a signal to the residents of DC and the country that we will not be idle as oppressive structures try to harm our communities and take power. The fight for black liberation and the liberation of all people will not stop no matter our oppression, intimidation, manipulation tactics. We have the right to command respect, to protect ourselves, and protect each other. And as the executive director of Hurts, Wilder Springs, I wanna name White people's civil rights have never been in danger because they are white. The white civil rights represents the desire from the Jim Crow, full stop. At hers, riders dreams, and as we support free DC, we're fighting against mass incarceration, policing, ICE, violence towards immigrants and Muslims, violence in Palestine, worker exploitation, and more. We're fighting for freedom and safety for all people.
