I've been reflecting on the current energy crisis and its multifaceted implications. The government's approach, including significant reductions in oil and gas leasing and rising costs, is pushing individuals into debt while causing inflation. The irony of needing gas generators for electric vehicles due to grid overload highlights the contradictions in our energy policies. The situation in Germany and California reveals a broader trend of energy shortages and misguided climate agendas. Meanwhile, the elite seem exempt from the burdens imposed on the general public, raising concerns about equity in energy access.

Up to 75% of emerging diseases originate in animals. Deforestation and habitat destruction create conditions for diseases to spill over from animals to humans. Health, ecological, and climate crises are interconnected. The pandemic has demonstrated what can be achieved by investing in science, such as the rapid development of vaccines. However, vaccine inequity persists, with high-income countries having vaccinated one in four people, compared to one in over 500 in low and middle-income countries. The international community, governments, and vaccine developers must address vaccine inequity.

Speaker 0: Today, up to seventy five percent of all emerging diseases come from animals. And as we are cutting down forests and destroying habitats, we are creating the ideal conditions for diseases to spill over from one animal to another and then to us. And we can no longer separate the health crisis from the ecological crisis, and we cannot separate separate the ecological crisis from the climate crisis. It's all interlinked in many ways. And during this pandemic, we have seen what we can achieve when we put resources into science. Vaccines were developed in record time. But so far, on average, one in four people in high income countries have received a coronavirus vaccine compared with just one in over five hundred in low and middle income countries. And the international community, governments, and vaccine developers must step up their game and address the tragedy that is vaccine inequity.

Physicist Brian Catt says people "do not need to panic" over man made climate change. "What is happening now is almost totally normal." @ticerichard | @catandman

Video Transcript AI Summary
People shouldn't panic about global warming because current changes are normal based on Earth's natural history. Over the last 10,000 years, temperatures have fluctuated by about one degree at the Equator and two degrees at the poles every thousand years. The current rate of rise is about one degree per century, which is not unusual. The IPCC's models are flawed because they assume no natural change. The greenhouse effect is small compared to other atmospheric factors like solar radiation and gravity, with oceans and clouds primarily controlling climate stability. The pre-industrialization period used as a baseline by the IPCC was the lowest point in the last ten thousand years. It is currently one degree above that low but two degrees cooler than the warmest period in the last eight to ten thousand years. During the last interglacial period, it was six degrees warmer, and hippos and elephants lived in England.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: I think we we look. We all accept we're in a period of global warming, but a lot of people are are panicking, aren't they? Yes. Are they right to panic? Speaker 1: No. They they should relax, basically, simply because if they were to go and look at the natural history of the Earth, which has all been unraveled since these climate myths were created by the UN, they'd find that actually what is happening now is almost totally normal. And the Earth, on the short term forget ice ages. It's confer that's a confusing thing. But for the last ten thousand years, which is a short warm period within an ice age cycle, it goes up and down about a degree at the Equator, two degrees at the poles about every thousand years, and it's perfectly normal. And the rates of rise now before people starts obviously, people might phone in with this one. The rate of rise is not unusual either. It's about one degree in a century, and it goes up and down while it's it can go up and down a degree while it's doing that. Yes. And that's a global average over thirty years. It's not the weather. So so we've got Speaker 0: on one side, we've got the intergovernmental panel on climate change. We've got thousands of supposed experts Yeah. All stuffing stuff stuff into their models. Why are they wrong? Speaker 1: Well, because their presumptions that they feed into their models are wrong. And I think we talked briefly about this. It's called GAIGO, garbage in, garbage out. Speaker 0: That's the point. Speaker 1: And one of the assumptions they put in is there's no natural change. So if the change that they assign to carbon dioxide is actually natural, there is no anomalous diff what's the word I want? Additional change to be observed. So it's not actually happening, and there's a very good reason why that could be so. Stop me if it you. The which is that it's a very small effect, the greenhouse effect. Within the overall parameters of the atmosphere, there are much bigger things at work, like the sun shining on it and the gravity pulling the atmosphere onto the ground, which basically sets what the temperature gradient all this sort of stuff. But the control is from the oceans. The clouds control. The clouds are the control of Earth's climate stability. Speaker 0: So so in a sense, you think that people are panicking unnecessarily, and we've been warming now for the last sort of hundred and fifty years or so, give or take, since about 1850. There's something interesting about that that period, isn't it? Tell tell us about that because it why did they choose that point? Speaker 1: Well, oh, that's because it's the lowest point. We are at one degree above the coldest it's been in the last ten thousand years, which Speaker 0: Just let's just repeat that. I mean, that's remarkable. Speaker 1: And the other remarkable thing is it's two degrees cooler than the warmest it's been in the last eight, ten thousand years, which is the Egyptian and the Minoan period. So this Speaker 0: is really important, folks, because this is data and that, essentially, the IPCC, they always talk about that we are one degree higher than than the pre industrialization period than a hundred and fifty years ago. But what you're saying, Brian, is that was the lowest point in the last ten thousand years. Correct. So so in a sense, that's why we shouldn't be panicking and that it's been much warmer in in two or three previous periods. Speaker 1: Yes. And in the last interglacial, which was a 130,000 years ago, when the country is much pretty much where it is now, about fifty degrees north from the equator, there were hippopotami and elephants on the banks of the River Thames. That that Speaker 0: would be quite a sight now, wouldn't it? Speaker 1: It would. And and it's well known. This is natural history. And it's it was six degrees warmer than it is now. And there were humans wandering around the place, presumably hunter gathering happily. We're a tropical species. Speaker 0: So

The president believes he has done enough to help Democrats in the midterms. Biden claims that if Republicans get rid of the Inflation Reduction Act, drug prices and medical costs will rise, and tax credits for weatherizing homes will disappear. The president plans to focus on the bipartisan infrastructure law, the Inflation Reduction Act, and clean energy jobs during this trip. Speaker 0: Shannon Bream and Fox Business anchor David Asman both here to analyze what's going on in the race with twenty seven days to go. But let's make a stop with White House correspondent Peter Ducey, who is with the president in Cape Hale, Colorado. What's the focus there today, Peter? Speaker 1: Good afternoon, Martha. President Biden is not giving in to calls from critics to drill more here in The United States as gas prices go up and up. In fact, he is doing the opposite. Today in Colorado, he's going to announce new bans on drilling and mining on about 225,000 acres here, and he's also gonna designate Camp Hale a monument to the tenth Mountain Division that trained here for World War two. We are also now hearing that president Biden thinks he's already done enough throughout the course of his term to help Democrats in these midterms. Speaker 2: The thing they said they're gonna do is get rid of the inflation reduction act. And so what's that do? They're gonna raise drug prices, raise medical costs again, be sure that we're gonna no longer be able to have the ability to have tax credits for weatherizing your homes Speaker 1: Right. Speaker 2: Money. I mean, I don't know what they're for. Speaker 1: We've been told not to expect much emphasis from the president this trip on crime or immigration. Instead, we are told the president wants to talk about the bipartisan infrastructure law, the inflation reduction act, and clean energy jobs. And it sounds like these midterms will weigh heavily on the president's decision to run for reelection. Speaker 2: Well, look, I'm not gonna make this about my decision. I'm gonna make this about this off year election. After that's done in November, then I'm gonna be in the process of deciding. Speaker 1: President Biden is also saying he does not think Americans need to be preparing for a recession, but that if there is one, it would just be a slight recession. Martha? Speaker 0: Peter, thank you very much and beautiful.

Europe's energy crisis stems from allowing a 16-year-old girl to dictate energy policy, shaming the continent away from nuclear energy and hindering energy independence. This placed Europe in a fragile position, now worsened by the lack of Russian energy. The speaker claims that both a 16-year-old girl "who knew nothing" and a president whose language turned people off contributed to the crisis. The speaker asserts that Trump was right about German and European reliance on Russian gas, despite the German delegation "snickering" at his warnings. The speaker suggests that the eagerness to judge Trump's delivery led to embracing a 16-year-old with no scientific or technological background to dictate energy policy. The speaker reminds the audience that she was nominated for a Nobel Prize.

Speaker 0: Reasons that Europe are in an energy crisis really should be discussed honestly. So number one, an entire continent essentially allowed a 16 year old girl to dictate their energy policy. And when Greta Thunberg was able to shame an entire continent into basically walking away from nuclear and not really evaluating how you can actually have energy independence. What they did was they put Europe in an incredibly fragile position. And at the beginning of this war, it wasn't clear how much damage the lack of Russian energy would do to the European economy, but now it's absolutely clear. How did they not see that, Jamal? We set it on the We set it on the pod in February. How did they not I mean, Trump said it years ago. I mean The thing we said How is it not obvious? The problem is you had these look. To be honest, you had these two goofballs. You had a goofball on the left, which was a 16 year old girl who knew nothing, and you had a goofball on the right, which is a president whose language turned people off even though the message that he was delivering was a 100% right. When when Trump went to the United Nations, he was clear, he was precise, and in hindsight and I'm saying this as a democrat, he was right Oh. About Obviously right. Yeah. German reliance on Russian gas and and the European reliance on gas. What did they think would happen? The important thing was was the reaction. Remember the German delegation snickering while he was walking? They were laughing. But but we're we're we're but we're missing the real lesson. The real lesson is that in all of our haste to basically overtly judge Trump because of his delivery and his, you know, his personal style or whatever, we ran towards a 16 year old person who has no rooting in science or technology to dictate the energy policy of an entire continent. I mean, the she was nominated for a Nobel Prize. Just to remind you guys, this is how insane all of these people were.

The report claims that in the near future, the world may need to resort to lockdowns again to tackle a climate emergency. To avoid this scenario, the report says we have to overhaul economics and change capitalism.

The four horsemen – famine, disease, war, and death – often appear together, with hunger leading to opportunistic diseases, chaos, and war. While the West worries about food and heating, the speaker questions the "feed the world" mentality. Al Gore's predictions from "An Inconvenient Truth" have not materialized, yet he lives lavishly. The speaker notes that while Gore predicted the ice caps would be gone, they've grown, and polar bear numbers have risen despite his warning they would drown. Gore bought a $9,000,000 villa on the coast of California, despite saying Manhattan would be underwater. The green agenda requires extensive mining of metals and minerals, dependent on fossil fuels. The International Energy Agency predicts fossil fuels won't be set aside until 2207 at the earliest. The Biden administration predicts CO2 eradication cannot occur before 2242, even if all governments keep their promises. The speaker believes people today deserve a better life and shouldn't be sacrificed for a fantasy built on lies.

Speaker 0: The four horsemen of the apocalypse are usually pictured together and for a reason. Where there's a famine, there will soon be disease and then war and always always death. During times of hunger, most of the dying is caused by the opportunistic diseases lying in wait. Chaos soon reigns and war is invariably the consequence as factions fight to seize or to maintain control. The shadow of the four will loom yet again over hundreds of millions of the world's poorest and most desperate people. And in the West, shivering in our homes, wondering for the time in generations what sort of food we will have to eat, how we will heat our homes, won't be throwing our arms around anyone except ourselves for warmth, feed the world, I don't think so. Another ghost from the past is worth a look now. In 02/2006, Al Gore launched his film An Inconvenient Truth about the imminent end of civilization due to man made global warming. The real inconvenient truth is that Gore's predictions from a movie that netted $50,000,000 at the box office have not come to pass. The Prophet of Doom now worth $300,000,000 who said, we could all help save the world by changing our lifestyles has a $2,500,000 home in Nashville with an annual energy bill of $30,000. It's worth wondering how often he sits inside and notes that while he said the ice caps would be gone by now, they've grown in size or how often he remembers that while he said the polar bears would drown, the numbers have risen steadily for the last fifteen years. The man who said Manhattan would be underwater on account of rising sea levels just bought a $9,000,000 villa on the coast of California. Always remember this, the green agenda for being sold is absolutely not green requiring as it does the unprecedented mining of hitherto unimagined amounts of base and rare earth metals, also rare minerals, all of that effort dependent upon fossil fuels, the never ending rate of the world we're supposed to be saving. The International Energy Agency predicts it will be twenty two point zero seven at the earliest before fossil fuels are set aside. In The US, the Biden administration predicts that even if all governments keep their promises, CO2 eradication cannot occur before 2242 more than two hundred years from now. There's food aplenty in this world, there's energy aplenty, but we are to be denied both by yet more of those corrupt politicians. Here's the thing, it's the people alive today here at home and around the world, the poorest included who deserve life, a better life, they deserve a future that we could give them now. Who with a human heart would sacrifice today's living for nothing more than a fantasy spun from lies? Not me.

I'm here to show you these old turbine blades that have been dumped. Despite being called renewable energy, there's nothing renewable about them. These blades are quite short, around 20 meters, and they're worn out with not much life left. Recycling them is a challenge, and they sit here like massive beach whales. Compared to the ones in action, they're not that big. So when they run out, they'll just be sitting here, telling a story. The Chilumbin wind farm cost $1.4 billion, but in 15 years, these blades will still be here, not being used.

You can see, you look at the quality of it, it's not much life left in that. Can you recycle it? Good luck. Great beach whales sitting here. These massive. They're not that massive and compared to the ones we've seen in action today. So when they run out of course, what are we gonna do with those? Same same deal, right? Just sit here. This tells a story. So $1,400,000,000 for the Chilumbin wind farm and in 15 years, They'll just be sitting here like this.

Video Transcript AI Summary
To make a wind turbine, you need a large amount of iron ore, concrete, and steel. The concrete production emits carbon dioxide, and the steel requires rare earth elements, which are often sourced from China and come with environmental concerns. Additionally, the cobalt used in wind turbines is often mined by child slaves in dangerous conditions in the Congo. The turbine blades are made from balsa wood obtained by clearing parts of the Amazon forest, and they contain a toxic chemical called Bisphenol A. These blades cannot be recycled and end up as landfill, polluting the soil and water. Supporting wind and solar power means supporting pollution, slavery, and environmental damage.
Full Transcript
Speaker 0: To start with a wind turbine, you need about 30,000 tons of iron ore, about 30,000 tons of concrete. To make concrete, you need to get limestone and shale, cook it up. Limestone's got 44% carbon dioxide in it. That carbon dioxide goes in the atmosphere, you sinter it, then you grind it up, and you have cement. You then got to quarry stone to make the aggregate, to make your concrete. You then got to transport that 30,000 tonnes just for the foundation for 1 turbine. So you use a lot of concrete to make a wind turbine. You use a lot of steel to make a wind turbine. But then you get into the generator. Now the generator uses rare earth element magnets. We used to have magnets made out of iron. We then found it would be better to have an iron cobalt magnet. We now find that magnets made out of rare earth elements are much better. Rare earth elements mainly come from are part of China, Bayer and Orbul, and that rare earth element, ore, is quite rich in uranium and thorium. I've been to Byron Allborn, it is probably the greatest environmental disaster in the world. The uranium and thorium material are just thrown everywhere. So if you're using wind powered electricity, you are actually responsible for a huge amount of pollution by uranium and thorium in China, but they're Chinese, let's not worry about that. You can't be an environmentalist. Now, that's in the magnets. We also have cobalt in those wind turbines. And that cobalt, most of it is mined by slaves who are children, who are working in dangerous open pits and underground in the Congo for Chinese groups. So If you want to support wind power, you're supportive slavery, the same as if you're supporting solar power, the solar panels are made by Uyghur slaves in China. So if you want to be supporting renewables, you're supporting slavery, you're supporting massive pollution of uranium and storing. And then you look at the turbine blades, and they're made out of balsa wood laminated with epoxy. That balsa wood you get from clear filling parts of the Amazon forest to get your bolster wood. So of course, you're a good environmentalist, you want to have renewable power, bugger the Amazon, you just clear fella and get the balsa wood. And then in the epoxy, there's a chemical called Bisphenol A that's incredibly toxic. Most countries in the world have banned the use of it. This comes out of China in the laminate turbine blades. Those blades cannot be recycled. Those blades are eroding all the time and spreading this bisphenol everywhere in soils and waterways around the turbine blades. And then when the turbine blade has finished its useful life, which is much shorter than we're told, they get cut up and used as landfill. And so the best fennel A gets into soil and gets into water. You cannot possibly be an environment and support wind and solar power.

Behind the scenes… ——————————————— Scotland’s wind turbines have been secretly using fossil fuels. Dozens of giant turbines have been using diesel generators to run windmills… https://t.co/RwUzpJ9JCE

Video Transcript AI Summary
Scotland's power sector is facing criticism for using large diesel generators to support wind turbines. A whistleblower raised concerns about environmental and safety issues, including the use of six diesel generators for up to six hours daily to de-ice the turbines. Scottish Power admitted connecting 71 windmills to fossil fuel supply due to a grid fault that prevented the turbines from functioning in December. The whistleblower also highlighted oil leaks from hydraulic units and technical faults causing the turbines to draw energy from the grid instead of producing it.

Speaker 0: Scotland's power sector is coming under fire after it was revealed that officials used massive diesel generators to ensure dozens of giant turbines on wind farms could function. According to the Sunday Mail, they were tipped off by a whistleblower who cited a number of environmental health and safety concerns. One of which was half a dozen diesel generators running for up to 6 hours a day to de ice the wind turbines. Scottish Power said they were forced to hook up 71 windmills to the fossil fuel supply after a fault on their grid caused the system to fail to keep the turbines warm and working during the cold month of December. Other concerns from the whistleblower included thousands of liters of leaked oil from hydraulic units and technical faults that see turbines taking energy from the grid rather than producing energy.

The earth's atmosphere has warmed due to human burning of fossil fuels. Carbon dioxide levels were higher during the time of dinosaurs, but the world did not end. Greenhouses intentionally pump CO2 to aid plant growth. NASA found that CO2 fertilization is greening the earth. Mars has a significant global warming issue. French-style nuclear power is environmentally friendly. US commercial nuclear plants are less radioactive than the Capitol Building. Germany's shift from nuclear to coal may have caused more deaths than Chernobyl and Fukushima. New York and Vermont have replaced nuclear with fossil fuels. Wind energy companies have been responsible for eagle deaths. Wind and solar farms rely on fossil fuels as backup. Michael Shellenberger switched from anti-nuclear to pro-nuclear power.

The problem of the "Energiewende" is significant, with a scale of 150 nuclear power plants, equivalent to around 190 GW average power. Renewables delivered 30 GW in 2023, leaving a gap of 160 GW. The cost-optimal wind energy share is around 60%, requiring an additional 90 GW of wind power, with 70 GW on land. This translates to 350 GW installed capacity, or 70,000 wind turbines. Importing synthetic energy sources is the automatic solution to fill the gap, as shown in a study by @FraunhoferISE.

Kleiner Ernüchterungsthread🧵 für Freunde der Energiewende: Das Problem "Energiewende" hat eine Größenordnung von 150 AKW, das sind rund 190 GW Durchschnittsleistung. 30GW haben die Erneuerbaren 2023 geliefert, bleiben also noch 160GW.

@SimeonPreuss - Simeon Preuß ⚛️🌱

I believe the media misrepresents the impact of industrial wind turbines on whale populations, particularly the North Atlantic right whale, which is facing extinction. Leading researchers confirm that noise and vibrations from wind projects harm these whales, contradicting claims made by the wind industry and supported by various media outlets. There's evidence of financial ties between wind companies and environmental organizations, raising concerns about conflicts of interest. I am involved in a lawsuit aimed at halting these projects to protect marine life.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Whale deaths are becoming a concerning pattern, particularly for the North Atlantic right whale, which is facing extinction. The potential impact of thousands of wind turbines in their habitat raises alarms about the safety of marine life, including whales and dolphins, as these areas are crucial for their migration and breeding. The increase in whale fatalities seems linked to activities in the wind lease areas, indicated by the red dots representing whale deaths. This situation is alarming and demands attention.

Speaker 0: 1000%. That is the let's bring it to a dead stop. I saw another whale. It washed up. It's becoming a pattern. Is it the windmills? Is it the pounding of the sea floor? How many whales is it gonna take? There aren't many places where the North Atlantic right whale can go. It's destined to extinction. It sounds like they're they're going to, like, wild drive. What the United States is looking at is thousands of wind turbines in an area that our whales, our dolphins, our marine life, where they live, where they migrate, where they breed. It's only when they started going into the wind lease areas that we believe that the whales are dying. So those red dots are whale deaths? Precisely. What a scandal.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

This isn't a matter of opinion. This is the conclusion of the world's leading whale researchers and what the boat tracking data and sonar data both show. The evidence is in this documentary, "Thrown To the Wind," below, with all supporting data and research here: https://saverightwhales.org/media

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

The reason the media are spreading disinformation about the killing of whales by the industrial wind industry is because they are paid to do so.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

For years, reporters said the wind industry wasn't killing whales. They were wrong. Part of the reason is because reporters are lazy. Another part is they're ideological. But another is that taxpayer-funded wind corporations gave millions in "partnership" money to their employers

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Wind energy companies and their foundations have donated nearly $4.7 million to at least three dozen donations to major environmental organizations. @LinowesLisa has made public a report and a database documenting the conflicts-of-interest she discovered. The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, a granting organization, took up to $1 million from wind energy companies Avangrid and Shell, and then distributed it to other environmental groups. In August 2020, the National Audubon Society received a $200,000 grant from the New England Forest and Rivers Fund. The same year, the Nature Conservancy received a $165,218 grant from the New England Forest and Rivers Fund. The Nature Conservancy has supported offshore wind since at least 2021. NJ Audubon has partnered with wind farm developer Atlantic Shores, a joint venture between Shell Oil and EDF Renewables. Ocean Wind, another wind energy developer, has sponsored NJ Audubon’s World Series of Birding event multiple times. The wind industry has also made hefty donations to scientific organizations: Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute received a donation of $500,000 from Ørsted in or after 2018. Woods Hole has endorsed offshore wind since at least 2019. The New England Aquarium received a donation pledge of $250,000 in 2018 from Bay State Wind. In 2019, Vineyard Wind donated an undisclosed amount to the Aquarium. Similarly, in 2020 offshore wind developer Equinor, was cited as a donor in the Aquarium’s annual report.  The Aquarium has supported offshore wind since at least 2021. In October 2020, Mystic Aquarium featured an exhibit promoting offshore wind. In June 2021, Ørsted and Revolution Wind donated $1,250,000 to Mystic Aquarium to create new pro-offshore wind exhibits, but also to research the effects of offshore wind turbines on marine mammals and sea turtles. The wind industry is decimating sea life and destroying the fishing industry of the East Coast.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

The wind industry says it's good for the environment. But biologists warn it could make a whale species extinct. In July, a fiberglass turbine shattered and forced the closure of beaches. And now, a bombshell new report finds that the wind industry is decimating sea life.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

The Wall Street Journal was paid to greenwash industrial wind turbines by the wind companies that are in the process of making the North Atlantic right whale extinct.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Both UK and US governments and the wind industry have been covering up the role of industrial wind in causing huge increases in whale and other cetacean deaths.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

For years, the industry, governments, and media said the industry's ear-splitting noises weren't hurting cetaceans. Then, BBC in 2023 said there was a solution to the noise: "bubble curtains." But if noise wasn't a problem, why the curtains?

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Preventing a whale species from going extinct should be the highest priority of every environmentalist. The fact that it's not proves the fraudulence of today's environmentalists, who are making a species extinct in exchange for filthy lucre.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

The world's most endangered whale is the North Atlantic right whale. Only 340 are left, down from 480 in 2010. Now, 10 new massive offshore wind energy projects could make them extinct. It's been whale massacre after whale massacre whenever the wind industry is building. The US government is covering this up by refusing to conduct the studies it is required to carry out under U.S. law.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Yesterday marked the 60th known whale death on the East Coast since Dec 1, 2022. This is not normal. The government says it’s not because of the wind industry’s high decibel pile driving & boat traffic in previously pristine waters. They’re lying. And now we have the proof.

The wind industry has corrupted the federal government. Here's the proof:

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Biden, CAP, and Media Matters say wind energy isn't killing whales, but it is. In fact, it might make an entire species extinct. Why are they lying? Because their salaries depend on donations from the wind industry, which depends on billions in taxpayer subsidies.

@shellenberger - Michael Shellenberger

Scientists have documented the devastating impact of wind industry construction on cetaceans for over a decade. The wind industry paid off environmental groups, the media, and the scientists to stop researching it, in large measure with taxpayer money. https://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/1748-9326/8/2/025002

@VeroWendland - Anna Vero Wendland

@VeroWendland - Anna Vero Wendland

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

(1/7) https://t.co/bIyzWLcKxy

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

(Erzeugung: 1,395 GW; Last: 4,013 GW ⬇️). (3/7)

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

@75Jamin - Ben Jamin

Video Transcript AI Summary
The process begins with forming a circular base for the wind turbine tower using concrete. After the cement cures, a series of intersecting pipes is installed with screws, and reinforcement bars are laid around these pipes to create a larger circular plate. The base is sealed with a lid, and concrete is poured inside. Holes several meters deep are drilled into the pipes, and excess pipe material is ground off. A high-strength metal disc is fitted over the holes, followed by the injection of composite resin material through the holes with a high-pressure pump. A steel rod is then inserted into each hole, and the underground rods’ intersecting angles lock into the rock layer. Sealant fills the gaps in the metal disc, which are then locked with screws, and the bolts on the disc are reserved for mounting the tower. For bases supporting turbines over five megawatts, the base must be deeper and larger. The ground is leveled using a grouting machine, and a three-meter-high central base is installed to act as a vertical support, connecting and positioning the turbine. Reinforcement bars form a chassis that creates a conical base for the tower, requiring a larger grouting machine and thousands of tons of concrete with continuous twenty-four-hour work until solidified, typically over a month. The base is then buried with soil. A trench is dug next to the turbine base to lay cables that transmit electricity, with the other end of the cable connected to a wind turbine substation. The substation manages, transforms, transmits, and distributes the electricity generated by multiple wind turbines, ultimately connecting to the national grid. Once all is prepared, the wind turbine assembly proceeds. Blades, typically over 40 meters long, are the most challenging to transport and require specially equipped trucks and experienced drivers. The tower is transported in sections and assembled on-site using two cranes: one uses a special hook, and the other uses steel ropes to lift and vertically flip the column. After aligning and tightening each screw, the second column is hoisted, with workers inside completing the connection and locking. The third segment, lifted to a height of 50 meters, requires the driver to use a walkie-talkie for precise alignment, and with this segment in place, the tower is complete. Next is the nacelle, weighing over 20 tons, which is hoisted with ropes to prevent swaying. The nacelle, the heart of the wind turbine, contains the gearbox, generator, and control system. After securing the nacelle, the hub is installed, starting with the hub first and flipping it over to the vertical position. The rotating component has a fixed installation angle and is secured once the angle is perfectly aligned. Finally, the blades are installed using custom lifting tools controlled by ropes to stabilize the blades during lifting in four directions. The tension below aids the connection as the blades reach their final height. After installation, ropes are removed, and the lifting tools are gradually removed from the blades by the driver. With the last blade in place, the wind portion of the turbine is complete.

Speaker 0: Know how wind turbines are built? Let's start the base of the tower. First, a circular base is formed using concrete. Once the cement dries, a series of intersecting pipes are installed with screws. Around these pipes, reinforcement bars are laid to form a larger circular plate. After sealing it with a lid, concrete is poured inside. Holes several meters deep are drilled into the pipes, and excess pipe material is ground off. A high strength metal disc is then fitted over the holes. Next, a high pressure pump injects composite resin material into these holes. And after the injection, a steel rod is inserted into each hole. The intersecting angles of these rods underground firmly lock them into the rock layer. The gaps in the metal disc are filled with sealant and locked with screws. The bolts on the disc are reserved for mounting the tower. For wind turbines over five megawatts, the base needs to be deeper and larger. The ground is leveled using a grouting machine, and a three meter high base is installed at the center, which acts as a vertical base, connecting and positioning the wind turbine. Reinforcement bars form a chassis shape, creating a conical base for the tower. This requires a larger grouting machine and consumes thousands of tons of concrete with continuous twenty four hour work until the concrete is sufficiently solidified in a month. The base is then buried with soil. Next to the turbine base, a trench is dug for laying cables that transmit electricity. The other end of the cable is connected to the wind turbine substation. The substation manages, transforms, transmits, and distributes the electricity generated by multiple wind turbines, ultimately connecting to the national grid. Once everything is ready, the wind turbine assembly can begin. The blades, typically over 40 meters long, are the most challenging to transport, requiring specially equipped trucks and experienced drivers. These massive blades require custom lifting tools for hoisting controlled by ropes in four directions to ensure stability during lifting. The tension below helps with the connection when the blades reach their final height. After installation, workers manually remove the ropes, and the driver slowly removes the lifting tools from the blades. Once the last blade is installed, the wind part of the turbine is complete.

Chernobyl? Giant steam explosion nothing nuclear. But fear sells more windmills... https://t.co/7Xr62F9UGe

Video Transcript AI Summary
Speaker 0 claims that Chernobyl was fake and that it was a steam power plant, describing it as “steam energy” and saying the nuclear or nuclear, whatever, is fake. He asserts that all of this is just steam energy and that Galen Windsor “basically explain[ed] about how they’re just giant steam plants,” and asks how dangerous a nuclear reactor plant is. Speaker 1 responds by saying a nuclear reactor plant is “just a way to boil water” and calls it “the cleanest, neatest, most economical way to boil water that you’ve ever seen.” Speaker 0 continues, claiming he has held uranium in his hand and radium in his hand, and that he literally holds stones while he works out, insisting it’s all giant steam plants. He states that when a steam plant explodes, it can explode “just kinda like if you think of trains and and cars back in the day,” and reiterates that there is no radiation. He asserts that there is no radioactive anything and that “you are a radioactive being,” explaining that your heart beating is radiation, and asks where the beating of the heart comes from, implying it is radiation. He concludes with a reiterated association of Chernobyl to this viewpoint.

Speaker 0: Explain 1986 if Chernobyl was fake nukes. Yeah. That's so simple. Chernobyl was a steam power plant. That's what all the of the nuclear or nuclear, whatever, the goofy word because it's fake. But anyways, that is all just steam energy. That's all it is. And Galen Windsor just debunked all of this, basically explaining about how they're just giant steam plants. And how dangerous is a nuclear reactor plant? Speaker 1: A nuclear reactor plant is just a way to boil water that's the cleanest, neatest, most economical way to boil water that you've ever seen. Speaker 0: That's why you always see steam just coming out of them. And I have myself have held uranium in my hand and radium in my hand. I actually have stones that I literally hold while I work out. So basically, it's just giant steam plants. And when a steam plant explodes, it can cause an explosion just kinda like if you think of trains and and cars back in the day, same exact thing. That's it. There's no radiation. There's no radioactive, any of that. You are a radioactive being. You are a radioactive being in which your heart beats as we speak. Where do you think your heart comes from the beating? That's radiation right there. So that's Chernobyl.
