Every president I've ever worked for took some steps to secure the border, because they understood you can't have national strong national security if you don't have border security. And even president Obama gave me the presidential rank award, highest award available. Because what was I doing at the time?
I was I was locating and deporting people in the country illegally. But president Biden is the 1st president in the history of this nation that I know of who came in office and unsecured a border on purpose. They move people. Although, we really shouldn't be too surprised that a comment like this would come out of Mark Cuban's mouth considering that he says border czar Harris has done a good job at the southern border, which maybe we just have different ideas of what constitutes as a good job. But to me, the illegal entrance of 13,000 murderers, 16,000 rapists, and the 320,000 missing children certainly doesn't fit the bill. It doesn't seem like continually disparaging more than half the country less than a week before election day is an effective strategy to get your candidate elected. But what do I know? This isn't this isn't incompetence. This is by design. So the the first morning I woke up with a smile on my face was day after the election when president Trump won. Because he's gonna come back. He's gonna finish the job he started.

I've been doing this three and a half decades, and what president Trump has put together is amazing, here in Chicago. And and it's a first operation of this size and and and complexity. We have all our government approach. We had US Marshals, DEA, FBI, ATF, ICE, ERONHSI. I mean, it's a all government approach, so we had a lot of resources come to look for public safety threats.
As president Trump committed to, we're gonna concentrate on public safety threats and national security threats, and that's what we did today. We wrestle a lot of bad guys. I mean, last time I was down down there, I think we got at least 7 sex offenders, serious sex offenders, child sex offenders. We got 2 murders about illegal aliens that are committing murder. We got numerous gang members.
We got, you know, it's an accurate assault, suspects in convictions. So we we left we took a lot of bad guys off the street today with the help of all these other agencies. What's great about these agencies is not only the force multiplier, but if we run the we find dope, DA can take that case and prosecute it. We find guns, especially with TDA. HF take that case and prosecute it.
So it's just not about wrestling criminal amnesty for them. We're gonna we're gonna gather some prosecution down. As a matter of fact, we got 2, criminal warrants getting ready to be executed. Now there are going to be prosecutions. So, look, there's great operation that was well targeted.
And 1 thing we showed today, I think, to American people, we recorded a lot of it. It's not it's not neighborhood sweep looking for people different than us. It isn't racial profiling like you read on the the left media. This is a well planned operation. I walked through the command center.

In fact, the Hollywood celebrity who posted it has now deleted it. I I I think because probably she faced a lot of backlash for it. Noting even the New York Times and Fox News poll show that a majority of American respondents are in favor of deportations of criminals and gang members.

And look, president Trump won the election on this one issue, securing our border and saving lives. We have just under 22,000 illegal aliens arrested in the interior, vast majority being criminal aliens. We got a number of gotaways down from an average of 1,800 a day under Joe Biden to 48 the other past twenty four hours. So we make a lot of progress.

We see the we see the damage that Joe Biden did when he came in. He he destroyed everything we created to give us a more secure border.
Now we're gonna get the border. We're actually gonna gain reach full operational control of the Southern border. We're already down to 48 gotaways. I want the number to be zero, but these changes need to be permanent, so we need legislation. We need congress now that we have the house and the senate.
Let's move. That's great legislation. There's three there's three things they can do that will lock that board down. Number one, the Florida settlement agreement. If a family comes across the border illegally, let us hold them and a family residential center long enough to see a judge.
Over 90% was the case we sent them home, the family stopped coming. As far as children, pass the TVPRA, the Trafficking Victim Protection Act. Redesignate that. But you gotta change that because even though I had a good intention, we need to treat children from all the world the same we treat children from Mexico. If you're not a true victim of trafficking, we let us immediately return them to the country same we do with Mexican nationals.
Will stop the children from coming across. For some of we're gonna stop the families. Finally, we gotta look at the asylum rules. The first you know, your first interview on the border of asylum, the threshold is very, very low to pass interview. The cartels teach you a few key phrases, you pass the first interview.
But when you get in front of the judge, if you show up in front of the judge, ninety percent or more fail to qualify for asylum. They simply don't qualify. So let's fix the asylum system. Make that first interview on the border at the same threshold of proof as the the judicial threshold, and we we fix that. So with those three changes, you would solve 85 to 90% of the problems on the border.
Speaker 1: And you actually think we're gonna get democrats even potentially come
Speaker 2: I think we'll get some democrats. I think I think it was a clear mandate what happened November. People don't want open borders. People don't want criminal aliens streaming across our our our borders and coming to our cities, and we can have it. Illegal alien crime skyrocketed under, president Biden.
And I look at the, resounding support we have right now, most Americans want assault and arrested criminal aliens. Vast majority want us to arrest criminal aliens. And and and the majority wants us to arrest noncriminal aliens. Let's remember, everyone across the border illegally committed a crime. So we got American people behind us.
Well, I think we got the Republican Party united behind us. I think we got a lot of Democrats. So let's get it done while we have control of both houses.
Speaker 1: Defunding you know, USAID, stopping the funds, the grants to these NGOs. Can we stop all of that funding? And then can we prosecute some of these organizations?
Speaker 2: Stopping all the funding that goes to these groups that were, in my opinion, complicit in the worst, immigration order crisis I've seen in my lifetime, but there are gonna be investigations that have already started. We're gonna look to see how this money was spent, who was given this money, and what they did with that money. So I think a lot of investigations are gonna be done by the house oversight committee of the DHS. And we gotta hope these people accountable, including the nine United Nations who spent millions and millions of dollars. As you know, Ben, you did a lot of reporting down in Mexico and Central America.
We need to see what the United Nations what's their complicity in this whole thing? Yeah. Investigations are started.

Speaker 1: It it's a flawed, expensive, bureaucratic system that's really made to target rather than to protect. This is just what another smokescreen to say. Be fearful that we're coming for you and be careful of what's required for you to provide.
Speaker 0: Joining me now, borders are Tom Holman. Tom, great to see you. Okay. Migrant registry. How will this be implemented and what happens if an illegal does not comply?
Speaker 2: Well, if everybody registers, you're gonna be pretty busy because I think there's over 20,000,000 illegal aliens in this country, closer to 30. They've been talking about 12,000,000 since 1995. And we know under Joe Biden, he's eight men across the border and released, but as the two men gotaways, there's another 10,000,000. So there's well over 20,000,000. But if they don't comply, they can be charged with a crime and face penalties.
And we will do that. You know, I was at the I mean, say the White House, you know, the US Attorney's Office, one hundred percent, every prosecution given by the board to the US Attorney's Office, one hundred percent acceptance. We're proposing consequences and US Attorney's putting those consequences into use. If they don't obey the law, they're gonna be prosecuted. This is a game changer, and this is gonna drive illegal immigration even lower than the record numbers we're seeing right now.
We're down 97% in one month. This is the most secure border we've ever seen, much more secure than the first Trump administration, a game changer.
Speaker 0: And Tom, how many illegals? I know you've only been in there for whatever, six weeks, something like that. But how many illegals thus far have been deported?
Speaker 2: Well, Borbitur Choate had well over 20,000. They they turned right around the border closer to 30,000. ICE has about 26,000, the rest of the interior. That's more than doubled last year during the Biden administration. We need more.
You know, I'm happy with the numbers, but we need more. We we need a lot more, especially the criminals. Sanctuary cities are slowing us down, but we're gonna work around sanctuary cities. We'll double the workforce in sanctuary cities. We'll increase the targeting sanctuary cities.
We'll send twice as many men and women officers to sanctuary cities. We'll do worksite enforcement operation expansions in sanctuary cities. Sanctuary cities will get exactly what they don't want, more officers and their communities to rest the bad guy.

I mean, MS thirteen and Trinidad was both been designated terrorists. I tell you what, I think Bukele has been a great partner in The United States. It's just not helping us with MS thirteen members that were that MS thirteen was born in that country.
But MS thirteen is is in several different countries around the globe, and I think Bukele is stepping up to eradicate MS thirteen no matter where they are. So he's gonna assist United States and get them out of here. The the the crime rate in El Salvador has plummeted over 90% because of president Bukele, you know, locking up thousand MS 13 members. He's not gonna be happy to every every MS thirteen member that came out of El Salvador. It's rounded up across the globe and sent to El Salvador.

Look, the majority is criminals and here but here's what you and I talked about several times. When sanctuary cities release a criminal back into the community, that forces us to go into the community and find him. And when we find him, we normally will, many times are with others. Others that are in The United States illegally, but may not be a criminal public safety threat target.
But we're not gonna tell ICE to walk away from illegal aliens like the last administration did. The last administration told ICE, you can't arrest somebody for being here illegally unless they're getting convicted of a serious crime. That's not what the law says. We're not gonna tell immigration enforcement officers, you know what? Ignore the oath we took.
Ignore the immigration law. Walk away. So I I've said it many times, sanctuary cities are gonna get exactly what they don't want. More agents in your community because you're forcing us in your community, not because on the whole team look for the bad guy, it means more collateral arrest. If they simply let us in a taxpayer funded jail, one agent could arrest one criminal alien, but they don't do that.
So that's why the collateral numbers continue to rise because we're forcing the community.
